Great location - connected to the airport - an easy walk. Property is a bit dated but the rooms were clean and service was decent.
Novotel Mexico City Centro Historico has the best location in Historic Mexico City, ensuring all the comfort for a quiet stay in Mexico City. The hotel's structure includes a gym, meeting rooms for corporate events and a terrace over the Zócalo.

The price booked on Ctrip is still very good. The hotel is very new. Although the room cannot open the window, the air conditioner has a fan mode which is also very good. There is an outdoor balcony and a gym. The gym wifi is full. The only thing to be reminded is that the area is very lively during the day and at night. It will be a challenge for those who are jet-lagged and have a light sleep.

Location is good as it’s just at the airport itself. A little expensive for the type of room though. We had to ask for the maintenance guy as the hot shower is not working.

The location of the hotel is good, there are many restaurants around. Because it has been a few years, some facilities in the room can see the traces of time. The service is quite satisfactory, the service at the checkin at the front desk and the outdoor restaurant on the second floor is not bad (pictures 2 and 3 are outdoor restaurants, I ate at the hotel when I arrived late, the food is not exquisite but tastes good). The concierge is more ordinary, with strange eyes and arrogant attitude. What is more excessive is the waiter in the buffet breakfast room. The room rate includes breakfast, but the guest still needs to sign a bill. We gave a tip of 50peso, but unexpectedly, the waiter added a 1 in front of 50 without authorization, and it became 150. It can be seen from the photo that the 1 in front of 50 is quite abrupt, and the writing and color are different from 50. (It’s also our own fault. We only wrote the tip, and didn’t write the total amount to save trouble, because we didn’t intend to give a tip. The waiter just took the coffee pot and asked if he wanted coffee. Apart from that, he didn’t provide anything else. Serve). After staying in the tipping culture for so many years, this is the first time I have encountered such a thing.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the main attractions, and is considered the best hotel in Mexico City. The room was clean, the bed was a bit soft, the window could not be opened, and like most American and Mexican hotels, the shower head could not be removed for hand-held washing.

Outstanding
YYangguangsudiChoosing to live in the old town is very convenient to go to the National Gallery, National Art Palace, Tequila Museum and other places. The hotel is located near Constitution Square. It is heavily guarded and relatively safe. The internal environment of the hotel is also quite comfortable, and the service is warm and thoughtful. The arranged room faces the church, and you can ”tour” the bustling square while sitting on the sofa~

DdanycPros: Free bar, the restaurant staff is very professional and friendly
Cons: The room is very very small! It is so small that you can't walk after opening the suitcase.
The door is also very small.
The cleaner put the slippers under the bed.
The cleaner put the items in different drawers and cabinets, but there was no notice, which led to looking for things everywhere.
One day after renewing, I was notified by phone that I had to pack my luggage and change rooms. Since I was in another state, I asked the reason over the phone whether the room type was different. The reply was the same room type because other people stayed in my room number. I couldn't understand it. When I arrived at the hotel in the evening, I took the initiative to ask the front desk again. The front desk explained that the room type was different, saying that we were now staying in a ”deluxe room” and I renewed the ”ordinary room”. Because I didn't move, I had to pay the difference. Is there a smaller room than this? Don't you have to crawl in and out? Moreover, the booking interface of Ctrip always has only two room types: single bed and double bed, and never has the words luxury or ordinary.
Downtown hotels with similar hardware are much cheaper. Or hotels with much higher grade at the same price. Although the restaurant's value-added services are good, it's not worth it considering the price difference.
The next hotels were also pitfalls. Ctrip's overseas hotel ratings have problems.

BBraden TseExceptional experience ! Ultimate Ritz Carlton experience, would highly recommend if you travel to Mexico City!
Definitely get one of the best view in Mexico City from your room , it truly exceed my expectation of a Ritz Carlton hotel. Extremely good service and always address you by your name.
We encounter some problems within the room in the beginning, however the front office manager solve it very quickly which is excellent. We have stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and will definitely come back if we visit Mexico City again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very nice location, a couple of blocks from Avenida Paseo de la Reforma. The room was very clean and there was a walk-in shower in the bathroom. A nice ce upgrade would be to have USB ports by the nightstand.
My issue is with Trip.com. I paid in advance for 3 rooms- one for me and one each for two friends. When I booked the rooms, I listed each of us separately on the online form. I received my confirmation by email and assumed that so did my friends. When we arrived at the hotel, I checked in without issue but when my friends tried to, they were told that no reservation existed for them. This is despite the fact that I had paid by credit card for all three rooms on one transaction. A call to Trips.com did nothing to fix the situation. The reservation number I gave them only had my room listed.
My only option now is to dispute the charge once my credit card statement arrives.

AAnonymous UserI finished paying in advance with the app, but I said I couldn't confirm it, so I asked him to pay again, so he even confirmed the reservation number stored on his mobile phone and the contents of the payment, but he said he didn't know. After a long time, I didn't apologize for confirming that it was a trip.com app, but the room was also broken. It was replaced again soon.
The room was clean and the facilities were good, but the condition was not good, so I put the temperature of the air conditioner up and fell asleep, but someone forced into the room in the middle of the night. The intruders were staff and they said they came to check because the room temperature was strange.
But I know that the customer is in the room, but I was very embarrassed and scared because I broke in without any call or knock. The staff were friendly but there was no consideration for the guests at all. Hotel that I don't want to go again twice.
It was less service than a 30,000 won room in Southeast Asia.

MMelInChinaThe room was big and comfortable. The pool was small but clean and well kept. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful.
The location is right next to a few banks, shops and the metro is within 5 minutes walk. The area felt very safe as it’s nearby some embassies.
The only thing that was not great was the elevator. It was extremely slow, you had to always push both up and down for it to arrive on your floor. So most times you’d go to then go down. And I did get stuck in the elevator once with a few other people. They did get us our rather quickly though. They are renovating so hopefully soon their new elevator will be operational.

VVivaireneThis hotel may be relatively old, the bathroom decoration is relatively old, and the smell of sewers is always coming up. What's better is the breakfast, which is rich in variety and delicious. The staff's service is also very good. Overall, it's okay. The room is big and the bed is very soft~
