The room is big enough and comfortable. The shower water is super good. There is free bottled water. The bathroom supplies are also pretty good. I don't have a toothbrush or toothpaste, so I thought I'd bring my own... There are many breakfast varieties, but overall I think the price is a bit high. Of course, the room rate is also relatively expensive. The location of the hotel is really good and it is convenient to go everywhere. I won't stay here next time. Just experience it once. đđ
Hotel is in a great location to explore Budapest. River Danube easy walk as well as the Ruin Pubs . Buses , trams and metro outside hotel . Arrived on the 8th of September, check in was easy by polite young woman on check in . Was given high floor room as requested. Room was large and comfortable. Very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast in morning was in restaurant, very art deco and grand . Omelette and fried eggs to order as well as grand breakfast buffet . Enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend. Bus 100E straight from airport to outside of hotel , Astoria. Thanks to all hotel staff for making our time a great stay .

The location is perfect, right and one of the shopping streets where you can walk to a lot of the attractions. The hotel has 2 exits where one is open 24/7 where the reception is and where you can be dropped off by taxi. The other is on the shopping street, closing at 22.00 because it is also where the hotel restaurant Winestone is located. The restaurant has a good variety of food and very friendly and diligent staff which goes for the whole hotel. The breakfast is not served in the restaurant, but on the 2. floor. It has eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, ham, cereal, yoghurt, small pancakes, fruit, a little bit of vegetables. Could have liked the hot food to be hot, it was seldom the case. The room was nice with safety deposit box, coffee/tea, 1 bottle of water each day, mini bar and shampoo + shower gel and hair dryer. The room was cleaned spotless every day! The room becomes a bit hot and it helps to open the window. Right now there is construction going on, so you don't want the window open while they work. In the ground floor there is a fitness room with a good variety of equipment. The front desk staff is very helpful. We used the cleaning service for having some shirts ironed. That worked very well.

Perfect location in the heart of Budapest with a lot of restaurants in the surrounding areas and easy walking access to the main city attractions. There's the subway nearby but you barely need it. Very calm during the night time. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, comfortable and very clean room. Breakfast with a good variety: scrambled eggs, bacon, fried eggs, beans, cheese, ham, bread, croissants, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, milk, coffee, cereals, juice... I definitely recommend this place for a pleasant stay in Budapest.
I booked a Ctrip beggarâs version room and spent money to upgrade.
It is recommended to book a street view room with windows that can be opened.
The details of the room are pretty good. I forgot to take a photo. Itâs the same as the picture online.
The service at the door is like this. After tipping, you will be replaced...
The front desk is quite helpful, but the quality of the doorman needs to be improved.
The restaurant is good and there is sparking wine freeflow for breakfastâŠ
Hotel service is very good, room service is always responsive, and the attitude is warm, because the anniversary of the hotel also presented champagne. Macarons are given every night. However, I returned to the hotel on the first night and found that the room had not been cleaned. I communicated with the hotel to confirm that this situation did not occur again after daily cleaning.

We stayed 30/09/23 till 03/10/23 Room 1/4. This hotel has everything you need. The apartment / room building at the rear was modern, an elevator, I think it was only 2 stories high. The suite we had, had 2 floors. An American style open living room and kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped, washing machine, microwave, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine with complimentary coffee capsules etc. there was also a toilet on the ground floor. The bedroom upstairs was in a mezzanine style with an open staircase. A bathroom off the bedroom, extremely powerful shower, it was like having a massage, fantastic. Toilet, sink and was fully stocked with toiletries. The breakfast was amazing, 0700-1100. Everything you needed for a good breakfast. Many cold meats, cheeses, bread rolls, yogurts, danish pasties, eggs, hot sausages and beans. The breakfast must be good as the hotel offers breakfast to people not stopping there, obviously at a charge. They must get 100 people plus for breakfast. The location was unbelievable, 5 minutes walk and you are among shops, bars, restaurants, all within the heart of the city. 5 minutes walk from public transport that we caught at the airport. 15 minutes walk to historical monument, bridges linking Buda to Pest etc. The room was very clean, with crisp white clean bedding. There is a lovely garden, where you can have a drink, relax or even eating breakfast outside. The staff were great, absolutely no problems there. Would I recommend this hotel, most definitely, for all the right reasons. We will use it again. Overall hotel experience, OUTSTANDING.
We had an amazing time at UP hotel Budapest. Staff are polite and professional, our room and the hotel were clean, breakfast were good selections of foods and drinks and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. They donât have kidâs menu so they provided pasta based on my childâs request. My child really enjoyed eating them.I definitely recommend UP hotel Budapest and would like to go back one day.
We were given a room with a terrible noise coming from the top of the roof. It was a smoke machine or something similar. . We exposed it and they changed it for another one without noise. There were two armchairs in the middle of the room. Either there was too much chair or there was no room. The bathroom is good. The old towels. Good buffet breakfast. Very good location.

Rooms are dated but fine for a short stay. However the housekeeping was awful- 2 days in a row towels were taken but not replaced, the bins werenât emptied and the room not tidied properly. The breakfast is limited for hot food only scrambled egg streaky bacon and small boiled frankfurters. No choice of eggs or omelette tomatoes mushrooms etc for the price more should be provided. Too many staff at breakfast leaving you feeling watched! The spa area and staff there are lovely. However overall it is not value for money.

Outstanding
GGuest UserOne of the best stay I ever had. The hotel has a fantastic atmosphere, the breakfast it's really good and has a great variety of food, the attendant's team is almost perfect, expect for the bar in the evening, the rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need. I found a very nice surprise for woman, beside the hair dryer there was an hair straightener. Very hepfull! The SPA was clean and excellent atmpsphere. I foundall service I would like to have. We didn't try the restaurant, but I saw people dining when in Budapest all the restaurants don't accept you anymore. I really felt cluddled!
AANTONIO RUIZ GUTIERREZExceptional hotel. Very friendly staff. Delicious dinner for 9900 ft about 26 euros, drink apart, but it is very good. Dinner is an open buffet. The room is large, very quiet and with a terrace overlooking the Danube. The Daikin brand air conditioning works perfectly. The bed is very comfortable and has 2 types of pillow. The spa is simply spectacular. Clean water at various temperatures. The Gym is also very good. It is totally recommended. Although it is a little far from the center, it can be reached in 25 minutes by public transport, which works very well in Budapest. In addition, Margarita Island is a charming place to walk. It is the Central Park of Budapest.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located very close to public transportation. The tram is right across the street and the Metro station just a short walk away. You can also walk across to the other side of town where all the stores and restaurants are by using the Chain Bridge. However the bridge was closed for pedestrians last month, not sure if it is now open. Our room was a good size and we had a beautiful view of the Danube river and the Parliament. The small balcony outside our window needed to be cleaned though, as there were spider webs everywhere. Realized that after I stuck my head outside to look at the view.. You can also look outside the window in the hallway when you get off the elevators. It has a nice view of the castle at night. Bathroom was fine, there was a nice bathtub with a nice shower but I found the bathtub very high and it took me extra effort to climb in and out. Never had that problem before but for some reason this tub was not easy to climb into. The breakfast had many yummy choices. There were not many changes in what they offered everyday, but still they had many choices and also many different coffees you could prepare on the machine. Front desk staff were cordial and one young man in particular was very helpful with everything that we needed. I don't remember his name but he was in his 30s I believe with a goatie. All in all we enjoyed our stay! The only thing we wished is that this hotel had a pool, but oh well!
SStrozekI had a great stay at Hotel President. The location is convenient, very close to Basilica and Danube the room is clean, no noise from the street, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with some local food . I highly recommend this place.

Very Good
GGuest UserWe had a reasonably sized 1 bed appt. From other reviews I was worried about noise and bad behaviour of groups of tourists but this is a block of 90 apartments and only 24 are tourist rentals. Others include a number of people with the title âDrâ so they are not riffraff, if you know what I mean. Our stay so far has been very quiet. Almost no noise from inside the block. It's the centre of a city so there is road noise etc but the windows are triple glazed so keep the noise out very well. Lift and corridors are all v bright and well cleaned. The area is touristy to some extent with loads of good value eating places including a very popular Hungarian restaurant where you need to book called Getto Gulyas. The area as a whole used to be the Jewish ghetto so the huge synagogue is close by but that meant that the are as a whole is quite run down in appearance. I think that makes it a much more interesting feel than some of the more renovated areas. This apartment block is new enough that it's not shown on Google satellite. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Everything you need for cooking on holiday. Furnished exclusively from Ikea by the looks of it but it felt new and not worn out. Bed is comfortable and on the firm side. So far the is absolutely nothing of any significance wrong with the apartment. Maybe we have been lucky by not being near a stag party. But we've only seen one about town in our stay so far. From our experience we would recommend.
GGuest UserLarge room, large shower but the water had probably a lot of limestone and other irritants so much that my girlfriend and I became blond at the end of the holiday, and I suggest to male available some eye drops because the eyes after the shower immediately became very reddened and swollen, as an Italian I really appreciated the presence of the bidet, lack of privacy because we had two windows that didn't even close completely and we had only one transparent white curtain available, and that was a passage area and everyone could see us inside. We thank the honesty of those who welcomed us and warned about the possibility of receiving unexpected visits: âthieves and clochardsâ and for safety they also wrote it inside the room, just right on the wall indicating the exact point from which they would enter. Good luck!
GGuest UserWe loved our 5 night stay here, we opted for a 1 bedroom apartment. We were amazed at how big, clean and well equipped the apartment was (there were even a couple of laundry pods to do washing if you wished). The staff at reception were really welcoming and happy to help giving great advice. Location is fantastic as close to all the main sights with the metro, tram and bus stops at the top of the road. Close to some brilliant restaurants like Mozel Tof, Ghetto Goulash and Pork and Prezli (make sure you book) Really handy that the direct airport bus stop is just a 5 minute walk too. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if coming to Budapest.
ćŒ ćŒ This is a family hotel.
1. There are two check-in points. But the names are different. The store did not explain. It cost a lot of trouble on the day of check-in. I stood in the cold wind for more than 20 minutes that night.
2. No catering. There is also no refrigerator. The surrounding restaurants are very expensive. The breakfast restaurant introduced by the store is far away. The store's explanation of the address was also unclear, and it took a lot of trouble to eat breakfast for the first time.
3. There is no supermarket within at least one kilometer
4. The hotel is located in a residential building. Go through the security door when going out. The security door is equipped with a door open button, which is 4-5 meters away in a straight line, and the store did not explain. There are two green lights flashing on the security door, always thinking that it is a button to open the door, but it has never been successfully opened, always let passersby help.
5, the reception staff are not skilled. Too much inconvenience for simple check-in.

GGuest UserI am coming from Canada. I'm extremely frustrated with the hotel and feel compelled to share my experience. The hotel consists of three buildings, none of which are any better than the others. The entrance is dark and the connections between the buildings feel like a maze of catacombs. It's a complete nightmare trying to find your room. Now let's talk about the rooms. They are downright filthy, and don't even think about finding any electrical appliances. Each room supposedly has a minimum of three single beds, but forget about any comfort because there are no pillow tops provided. Can you believe it? To make matters worse, we were completely tricked by that Turkish Holiday Website, âtatilbudur.com.â They led us to this horrendous place that is worse than any hostel I've ever stayed in. I'm beyond disappointed with this hotel. The lack of cleanliness, basic amenities, and the overall experience is simply unacceptable. They need to seriously step up their game and make significant improvements.
