Every time I come for a staycation, the hotel lobby feels bright and comfortable, and the service is excellent. I'd especially like to commend a lovely lady from Malaysia named ”Evelyn.” She's not only beautiful but also very professional and well-mannered! As soon as I arrived, she had already reserved a room for me on the 19th floor. The room was comfortable and tidy, and the housekeeping staff was also fantastic. Every time they saw me return, they knew my preferences and would specially prepare extra items I needed in the room. It truly felt like home, very warm and inviting. The coffee and tea used in the room and lounge are also imported. As for the hotel's breakfast, its quality hasn't declined over the years; in fact, it's gone up a level! The variety is richer, and the taste is superb! The hotel also has many other facilities, including a Shanghai cuisine restaurant, a Western restaurant, and a Cantonese Chinese restaurant. There's also a gym. The hotel also has a very comfortable terrace, perfect for chatting and relaxing~ I highly recommend everyone come and experience it; you definitely won't be disappointed!

This stay completely redefined my perception of high-end business hotels – it's not just a stopover on a journey, but an artistic space filled with warmth and meticulous details.

📍 **Prime Location, Heart of Jing An**
Located in the core area of Shanghai's Jing An district, the subway is right outside, and Nanjing West Road commercial district and Jing An Temple are within walking distance. It offers unparalleled convenience whether for business trips or city exploration. The bustling streets are just steps away, yet stepping through the hotel doors transports you instantly into a serene and elegant sanctuary.

🛎️ **Exemplary Service, A Home Away From Home**
From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped in just the right amount of warm hospitality. The concierge's smile was inviting, check-in at the front desk was efficient and professional, and even my pre-noted requests were meticulously attended to. Room service was prompt, and the turndown service was thoughtful, truly embodying the principle of ”anticipating needs rather than waiting for requests.”

🛏️ **Design Aesthetics, The Art of Sleep**
The guest rooms flawlessly blend modern simplicity with elegant Oriental charm. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the city skyline indoors, and as night falls, Jing An's dazzling nightscape becomes a private backdrop. The signature Pullman bed cradles you like a cloud, paired with high-quality bedding, ensuring a night of deep, restful sleep. The mini-bar is well-stocked, and the bathroom is spacious and bright, with every detail reflecting quality.

🍽️ **A Culinary Journey, Delightful Flavors**
Breakfast at the ”Elements” restaurant offered an unexpectedly rich selection of Chinese and Western options. Beyond the live noodle station and local specialty dim sum, there were fresh squeezed juices and exquisite pastries. The Executive Lounge deserves a special mention; spending an afternoon there, enjoying a freshly brewed coffee with delicate desserts while overlooking the city traffic, made a busy business trip feel like a relaxing vacation.

🏋️ **Excellent Facilities, Rejuvenate Body and Mind**
The fitness center is equipped with professional, comprehensive equipment, and the treadmills facing the Jing An scenery make cardio workouts anything but boring. The heated swimming pool has crystal-clear water; a few laps here washed away all fatigue. For business travelers, the hotel's meeting rooms are well-equipped, and the business center offers attentive service, perfectly supporting efficient work.

Pullman Shanghai Jing An builds a true five-star experience with countless details – it understands the efficiency demands of business travelers and caters to every guest's desire for comfort. Here, luxury isn't a cold display, but a tangible warmth and a palpable thoughtfulness. This was more than just a stay; it was a soul-healing journey worth savoring.

Next time I visit Shanghai, Pullman Shanghai Jing An will definitely remain my top choice.

The location is super convenient, just a 6-minute walk from Xuhui Vanke Center. The front desk staff, especially Nancy and Felix, were incredibly welcoming and helpful when I checked in late at night. Huge thanks to them! I highly recommend Pullman Shanghai South, and thanks again to the wonderful staff!

The hotel rates high on every single factor: room, cleaniness, breakfast, etc. It is a pity the subway is not very well connected.
The hotel has a gym and a swimming pool (which I haven't tried). There is a lounge as well in which consume light dinners and beverages.

The room was clean and the service was excellent. Breakfast and the lounge area were fantastic. We really appreciated the 'buy one get one free' happy hour every afternoon, and it was a big bonus that smoking was allowed in the outdoor area!

Great hotel for a business stay or staying central in Downtown - the view from Executive room is pretty good but not spectacular as Burj Khalifa is not so front and center.
Amenities are good, we especially enjoyed the squash court and gym with an actual Smith Machine - beats other hotels that usually stock up 10 dumbbells and 5 treadmills.
Had an issue with an iron, which they quickly addressed - but apparently there is just a single socket for that EU-style plug. Weird they do not stock irons with UK-style plugs which are used in UAE.
We also noticed some mould around bathtub which irked us a bit. Otherwise cleaning was good.
This was our honeymoon trip and they left a small cake and a lovely card on our arrival, along with some balloons - a sweet gesture which we appreciated. Balloons were not removed the next day however but that is fine, maybe some couples enjoy them (haha).

Our stay was excellent, the location is good, there’s metro station that’s near by walking. The breakfast & Executive Lounge were all excellent 💯

Отель неплохо расположен- рядом с аэропортом, выездом на две основные трассы вдоль города, рядом станция метро, выход из отеля прямо в торговый центр. Очень большой номер из двух комнат и кухни. Однако, есть и существенные минусы: 
- тонкие окна и очень шумно за окном даже ночью
- жесткий матрац
- в номере было душно, кондиционер не регулировался по температуре
- проход на зватрак через подземную парковку
- необхиодмо стоять в очереди ожидая столик на завтрак
- сам завтрак не впечателяет. Выбор блюд не большой со средним качеством и долгим ожиданием.

This so-called five-star hotel may enjoy a prime location next to the Eiffel Tower, but the reality is deeply disappointing for the price they charge. The central issue, and one that ruins the entire stay, is the ancient air-conditioning system. It can only produce either heating or cooling—not both—and the creaky controls offer no real control at all. We stayed in late September when the afternoons were still hot and sunny, and the room became unbearable. Opening the window wasn’t an option either, since it just brought in street noise and light, making rest impossible.  

When I complained, the staff first tried to mislead me by saying they would send a technician to “fix” it, as if this were a problem isolated to my room. Of course, they knew full well this is a general, long-standing issue built into the system. Instead of any actual solution, they then attempted to placate me with complimentary coffee and champagne—which I pointedly returned.  

Reading other reviews confirmed I was not alone. Many guests describe the exact same problem, and management appears content to ignore it. For a hotel that charges luxury rates and claims five-star status, the lack of a modern climate system is unacceptable and feels like outright negligence.  

My advice: avoid this hotel entirely in spring or autumn when temperatures fluctuate. If comfort matters at all to you, spend your money elsewhere—this place is only trading on its view of the Eiffel Tower, nothing more.

We booked the Classic Family Room with two double beds, and it was spacious and very comfortable. The room was well-equipped, including a smart TV which was great for relaxing after a day out. The location is excellent — right next to the train and metro station, making it easy to get around. The area feels safe and has plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The people were fantastic! Very helpful and accommodating and deserve good tips. The location is nice, not that close to EiffelTower but close to park and restaurant choices. You need to learn the metro and bus system in order to visit Paris or if you have a family just Uber. Two big issues: the indoor pool water is cold and my 11 year old refuses to swim in it. A pool was a huge selling point and ended being unusable. The place caters to families, and a 24 hour payable washer and dryer would be very useful on the premises. Otherwise, the beds are very comfortable and I definitely recommend staying there as a couple or with family.
