Choosing this gem of a guesthouse was the best decision I made on my trip to Tengchong! I was blown away from the moment I stepped inside. The rustic, modern Chinese style was so elegant. The room had a huge terrace overlooking Wild Duck Lake; opening the curtains in the morning revealed a breathtaking view of greenery, and watching the fireworks from the terrace at night felt like capturing the entire festive atmosphere of the ancient town. The most unforgettable experience was New Year's Eve. The owner thoughtfully prepared a complimentary reunion dinner! All the guests sat together, enjoying a New Year's Eve dinner experience unlike any other. The beef hot pot bubbled and simmered, accompanied by homemade cured meats and various local specialties. My family and I enjoyed a truly warm and welcoming New Year's meal by Wild Duck Lake. Even the air felt warm and cozy. Had a wonderful experience. The butler, Xiao Jie, proactively asked about my needs beforehand. The most memorable parts were: 1. The spa was incredibly comfortable. The therapist used their elbows to precisely target my pain points and alleviate them. 2. The room had an essential oil diffuser, which created a lovely ambiance. When the oil ran out and needed refilling, the butler even asked me what scent I preferred – very thoughtful! I recommend the bergamot. 3. The room was truly spacious. The hot spring bath area also had a separate shower, which was perfect for washing before and after a soak without having to walk back and forth. 4. There was also a charming 'Dingfengbo' wild garden at the back with a gentle drizzle, small plants, and a stream – a delightful surprise!

On the way to Shushu Bookstore, we were attracted by the environment of this inn. The owner received us warmly. The room was full that day, so he agreed to pick us up in the city the next day. After checking in, the owner made us feel at home. The hotel room was clean and tidy, the environment was antique, and there were hot springs and swimming pools. The hotel was not big but very exquisite, the tea was delicious, and the children had a great time. We have been traveling all the way from Guiyang and have stayed in the most comfortable hotel, which is inseparable from the owner's attentive service. This is the treasure homestay in my mind. Heshun is very good, the hotel is very good, and I will come again next time!
