IimirisoA perfect experience beyond imagination. Pros: Located halfway up a mountain, offering panoramic views of Tengchong; parking available; convenient location; food delivery services are readily available. The owner was incredibly kind, upgrading our room and thoughtfully providing flowers, fruit, and a cake for Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine's Day), making our wedding anniversary truly unforgettable. Breakfast was delicious and varied, offering both Chinese and Western options, including Tengchong's must-try Ersi (rice noodles). The hotel's facilities and design were excellent. I especially enjoyed lying on the balcony, gazing at the city and the clouds – so relaxing. Especially with the recent rains making many attractions inconvenient, I couldn't think of a better choice than relaxing in the hotel, soaking in the hot springs, and enjoying the scenery. Even better, I didn't have to squeeze into the hot springs with other guests. Cons: There's no elevator, so climbing is a bit tiring, but the staff kindly helped carry our luggage upstairs. Also, the room has recessed steps, so some careless people need to be careful. Thank you to the owners for their hospitality, which made our trip to Tengchong even more wonderful. It was a perfect experience, and I would love to come back in winter if I have the time; it would be even more perfect then.

XXiaoshetongxueyaFacilities: It's a newly opened place, located right in the ancient town! It has an antique charm, and the environment is lovely. They even upgraded us to a room on the second floor, heehee! Hygiene: Excellent! Very clean, which is important to us as we really value a clean environment. Ambiance: The design is fantastic, I love it! It has a very Yunnan-esque feel, heehee, predominantly wood. And it's quiet! Service: I think it was genuinely great! Little brother Cun (Xiaocun) was so enthusiastic! He even helped us with our luggage when it was raining, and was very accommodating. He also recommended many places for us to visit! Highly recommended! It's a place I'd definitely come back to! My top choice in Heshun Ancient Town! The value for money is also excellent.

SSWEE KIM ONGWe are very happy to book and stay at Yunman Shanting homestay. This will be our first choice if we want to stay at Heshun Ancient Town. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast consists mainly Chinese food like noddles soup, mantou etc. The homestay provides grilled tea, fruits and walnuts for guests in the night. It was a good experience as various guests gathered around the charcoal grill for chit chat while the staff grilled the tea and fruits. Complimentary tea and coffee was provided in the nicely decorated tea and coffee room. There is a rooftop garden and terrace where guests can view the sunset and take nice photos. The location is good and convenient as cars can drive to the doorstep and park at the homestay.

GGuest UserThe pick up service was-very good. The driver Xiao Mao was very friendly to give me a lot of information about the city on the way to the hotel. All the staffs at the front desk were very helpful too.I liked very much the breakfast but it was a-pity that the hotel did not serve dinner.lt caused me problem to search restaurant for food especially during raining nights. As the road in front the hotel was under construction, it made me to walk in the muddy path. I loved and appreciated the good services provided by the hotel, and the sweet fungi soup served at about 8:30pm every night was really enjoyable. As l am 80 years old now, l may not have chance to visit again but l will surely recommend the hotel to my friends if they come to Tengchong next time.

EeCupNoodleWe had just spent 3 nights at this B&B and loved our stay there very much. The manager on duty, Mr Wang, picked us up from the airport. Helped us settle in. We then wandered around the ancient town, which was a very nice place to explore as well. He assisted us with booking an onsen session at another resort in the area (20-minute walk). Also helped us with booking rental car, making travel plans, booking ride to Baoshan Railway Station. He and his crew were friendly, genuinely kind, attentive, always offering to assist. Room was super comfortable. Design was simple but very nice. He designed the decor himself. Given the chance, I would love to come back and stay again (longer, hopefully).

The hotel goes out, turn left to go to the attractions, turn right to walk to find the restaurant, this road is also flat, these days of play, every time you climb the slope will be glad that this is very important. The hotel decoration is very new, bright and transparent, the room facilities are very complete, basically you can think of it, there are eye mask earplugs, bathtub film and so on. The water released in the bathtub is hot spring water. My mother said that the skin is not itchy after soaking. Amway also went to soak. We also watched a high-definition movie with a projector in the room. If there is any problem, the boss will solve the arrangement immediately. Finally, thank the boss for picking us up. XXjtudouThis trip was with my sister and niece! The guesthouse was conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, making it easy to get in and out! Because it was at the end of a small alley, the environment was quiet, conducive to rest! The host personally picked up and dropped off our luggage at the scenic area entrance! Breakfast was healthy and delicious every day! We ordered the rice noodles in soup every day! They were very responsive to guests' requests! Finally, I'd like to suggest they be a little more proactive in their service!

GGuest UserA truly exceptional hotel that exceeded my expectations! The facilities and details were impeccable; I applaud their thoughtfulness! I was a little apprehensive after seeing a review that gave the hotel low ratings for its facilities. But after staying there, I must clear up my doubts – it was a complete ”misunderstanding”! The experience was absolutely fantastic! Our room was fully equipped with everything you could need: a dry sauna, a private hot tub, a dehumidifier, and underfloor heating. Everything was brand new and high-end. Let me focus on the ”misunderstood” dry sauna: Upon check-in, the butler mentioned that some guests had complained about the sauna being too cold and asked me to try it and provide feedback. Could that be true? They patiently demonstrated how to use it. The key is that after heating it for a few minutes, you need to gently pour water onto the volcanic rocks on the stove using a wooden ladle – with a ”hiss,” a wave of heat instantly rises, raising the room temperature to 70-80 degrees Celsius within minutes, making you sweat incredibly well and comfortably. I suspect the previous guests might have missed this crucial step. The room's details were very thoughtfully designed. For example, the dehumidifier quickly dried the air after steaming, and the private hot tub was always ready for use with a stable temperature. The public areas were also stylishly designed; both the reading room and tea room offered instant relaxation. This stay made me realize that a good hotel not only needs top-notch facilities but also patient and attentive service. Thanks to the butler's thoughtful introductions, we didn't miss a single wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality; you won't be disappointed!

MM417710****I initially booked for two days, and it was so good that I extended my stay for another three. The hotel has a great location, and the rooms are spacious and newly renovated. Bus route 6 right outside the door goes directly to Rehai and Tengshun Ancient Town. The service was excellent; Manager Sun personally picked us up from the airport and introduced us to Tengchong's unique attractions. Whatever we needed or asked for, they were able to accommodate.

GGuest UserI originally booked a different courtyard, but the owner upgraded me to a Lotus Pond King Room. The view was great; it would definitely be even more beautiful during lotus blooming season. There's a stylish coffee shop downstairs. Transportation is relatively convenient compared to other guesthouses in the ancient town, located on the west side, accessible by car, though a bit far from the center. The wooden structure of the house isn't very soundproof; there's a small road downstairs where cars pass by, making it a little noisy. The service was excellent; they even picked me up from the visitor center. Coming back in the evening, I enjoyed warming myself by the fireplace downstairs with some black tea – very pleasant. The breakfast was also good. Highly recommended!
