Travelodge Bilbao Sestao ★★★
"The hotel is new and the stay was very pleasant. I'd give a perfect ten to the short-haired redhead waitress at the bar. She was an excellent and super attentive employee. If I have to mention one thing, our room was on the side of the train tracks and we could hear them all night. That was a drawback. But I liked it enough to want to come back, though next time I'll ask for a room on a different side."
Quartier Bilbao Hostel Casco Viejo ★★
"The room is quite tall, but the bed design is unreasonable; the lower bunk is too low, about 30 centimeters off the ground, making it easy to bump your head. The location is okay, close to the train station, next to a large market, in the old town, near the river, but far from the bus station."
Silken Gran Hotel Durango ★★★★
"The rooms are average; those who don't mind the low cost-performance ratio can choose this option."
Hotel Balneario Orduña Plaza ★★★★
"Spacious room, very comfortable bed, and the spa is luxurious. The staff is a 10/10."
Holiday Inn Express BILBAO by IHG ★★★
"Good for business travellers but not for tourists due to the location. Very inconvenient to get there from city center, especially at night time. Free breakfast and shuttle bus service to the airport included."
NYX Hotel Bilbao by Leonardo Hotels ★★★★
"Highly recommend this extremely well lovated and modern hotel. The staff are fabulous and highly professional. The rooms are spacious and very practical. The location is right in the middle. You can walk to the train station, to the old shopping area... You are 15 minuti away by tram to the Guggenheim. Thank you again for such a beautiful stay - will definitely come again."
Hotel Naval Sestao ★★★
"Aside from the mosquitoes, it was a comfortable experience!"
Hotel Puerta de Bilbao ★★★★
"Very clean facilities. The air conditioning did not work well, so the room could not be cooled properly."
Hotel Luruna Palacio Larrinaga ★★★★
"This is an amazing hotel. It has been renovated to an incredibly high standard. The rooms are well furnished with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom has some of the best towels I have come across in a hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff made us feel so welcome and were super helpful. Our waitress at diner was so lovely. The food was amazing, the quality and the presentation were first class. Don’t eat too much too early in breakfast as choices kept coming and were freshly cooked. It was a wonderful experience and comes highly recommended."

Hotel Palacio Muñatones
"We stayed there last weekend. When we arrived, the facilities looked good, with private parking, spacious rooms, and at first glance, no complaints. We had views of Petronor, but we already knew that. Fine. When I booked the room, the details stated that the rooms were soundproofed—a lie. We're a couple who usually plan to spend a few days in Muskiz to go to a restaurant we like and avoid the hassle of driving, which is normal. But to our surprise, on the second night (because the first night was deserted), while we were talking quietly with the TV on volume five, our dear neighbor started banging on the wall, chanting "SILENCE!" completely out of proportion. We went down to reception to report it and express our displeasure with the situation. They pointed out that the sign said the place was SOUNDPROOF, and even though we were speaking quietly, they banged on the wall. He replied that yes, it was, but only to a certain extent... THAT DOESN'T EXIST. IT'S EITHER SOUNDPROOF OR IT ISN'T. But that wasn't even the problem. Besides being completely unsoundproof, the walls were paper-thin (we discovered this the next day with the cleaning ladies, who weren't speaking loudly, but we could hear absolutely everything). When we told the owner all this, he replied that everyone else had a right to rest, but does that mean I can't be talking to my partner? So, is this a hotel just for going to sleep? We stayed in different rooms that weren't advertised as soundproofed, but the walls weren't plasterboard, so you could comfortably be in the rooms, within reason and respecting others, talking and/or watching TV. Don't lie. It's a treat to give ourselves and leave happy, but the opposite happened with the restaurant, and it's not cheap—€210 for the "spiritual retreat.""
Palacio Arriluce Hotel - the Leading Hotels of the World
"This is outstanding hotel in a former family grand house. Elegantly converted into an excellent hotel. A bit expensive but worth it."
Hotel URH Palacio de Oriol
"Excellent stay, 10/10. Very clean, great location, and the hotel is super beautiful and spacious."
Hotel Igeretxe
"The room and bed are very big! Facing the sea! But there is a restaurant downstairs and the whole room is full of smoke. You have to open the window for ventilation! I couldn't sleep for two nights because mosquitoes came in with the window open! The TV is very small and old! It is incomparable with the same price in China! It doesn't come with a toothbrush and toothpaste! The beach is not beautiful! It is recommended to stay in Bakio. The beach scenery is beautiful! You can also hike"
Melia Bilbao
"Good service and convenient transportation, but a little far from the city"
The Artist Grand Hotel of Art
"Service, location and facilities are very good"
Hotel Carlton
"Although it is a single room, the area is not small. The hotel has a first-class location, right next to the airport bus station, on the small square, and convenient to go everywhere. You can walk to the old town and the museum river. However, although this hotel is a five-star hotel, it does not have a swimming pool. The breakfast is expensive at 26 euros and is relatively simple (by five-star standards)."
Radisson Collection Hotel, Gran Via Bilbao
"Except for non-fixed items, other fixed items including the walls are covered with dust. Hygiene: Average. Service: Good Location: downtown, but there is no parking lot. The public parking lot is 15 minutes away."
AXEL HOTEL BILBAO ONLY ADULTS
"10/10 all facilities were amazing. Staff were polite and the breakfast was lovely."
Hotel Palacio Urgoiti
"Very good! Noble! Elegant! Very aristocratic Worth coming again"
Occidental Bilbao
"I don’t recommend this hotel since you have to pay 20€ per person for using inside pool, 😑 and although the weather is quite warm on October more than 26C, the outside pool was closed. the room floor was damaged and has a laud sound when you walked. Hotel crews were friendly but totally it doesn’t worth to pay for this hotel. Breakfast was normal and nothing different from a 3stars hotels. Regarding location also it is not a good location to use public transportation from old town. We were not at all satisfied."
Balneario Casa Pallotti
Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia
"The room was clean and the location was excellent."
Hotel Miró
"The room had a view of the Guggenheim Museum. I visited the museum in the morning and in the evening in the rain. It was a wonderful view. It was a small, cozy and stylish hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I want to go again."
Hotel & Spa Etxegana
"Really nice hotel in a beautiful location. The interior is very cosy and the outdoor areas are very pleasant as well. Breakfast choice was rather limited, but all that we tried was of a very good quality. Food in the restaurant was very tasty as well. The only thing we did not like was the room we got. It was right over the entrance and with a view on the parking lot, which made it very noisy. Add to that very thin walls and you end up with not so relaxing experience. Parking at times was full and it was difficult to find a spot for a large car."
Catalonia Gran Vía Bilbao
"The executive room is spacious, with a balcony, a spacious toilet, and a large sink. There is enough space in the room for two large suitcases without hindering walking. The facilities are relatively new."
