Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is of course old, you can hear the sound from the rooms as if you were in the next room... I still don't understand how the air conditioner works, it's very noisy... it turns on and off whenever it wants... the advantages include proximity to the sea and the ability to take chairs and towels for the beach at the reception.
TtlapeachThe room was quite nice - sparkling clean! This is definitely the most important element for me, but this place didn't disappoint regarding cleanliness. One thing I found disappointing was that, while this is a solid place to have a family vacation, there isn't really a more quiet place to get some work done besides the desk in the guest room. The business center is right in the middle of the front lobby, which can sometimes get super loud. A quieter workspace area that is tucked away would be nice. One frustrating thing was the amount of gratuity tacked on to everything. We went to the Bar & Grill for some snacks and a beer one day, and despite only getting our order taken at the bar and one other person bringing out our food and drinks once, maybe twice, the resort has the audacity to add on an 18% service fee on top of the price automatically. I understand that inflation and cost of living are a problem, but it shouldn't give hotel chains like Hilton to pass on the responsibility of paying their employees to their customers. They should actually pay their people a fair wage. $40/day+tax for mandatory valet parking was also completely unnecessary. That being said, experience-wise, it's still a good place and seemed to be one of the lower-priced resorts in the area, but I hate how hotel chains tend to find ways to gouge just a little bit more money out of people around every corner.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself is pretty old but very close to the beach and some good restaurants. The room was big with full kitchen and a nice shower. Wasn’t sure about the beds though, I just wasn’t comfortable to lay down. I was able to book it last minute and needed a place for a long layover and a shower, which they were able to accommodate an early check-in. Service is pretty lax, office is small and the woman checking us in a bit detached.
GGuest UserThe room was not clean and the room's floor was dirty. The Breakfast was very poor and the very little options were not refilled. As the options were very few, at least they should be refilled until the end of the Breakfast time. Before 10 am we could not find almost nothing. Another family that traveled with me, went to have their breakfast around 10 am and had just water , plain milk and few bagles. They asked the hotel staff if they would refill the items, and they said no. I felt bad because I was the one that invited them to stay with my family in this hotel. I am disappointed.
GGuest UserThis place was excellent. Great view parking was fine at Hotel. The service was great access to the beach was right in front very good time. I recommend this family friendly.
GGuest UserWe visited for a cruise from Miami, arrived late morning, the Staff was great and let us check in early. They held our luggage while we made the 3 min walk to the Hollywood Beach/ Boardwalk. Food, drinks, and beach all within a 10 min walk, the location is fantastic and the inn was a cozy room with a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed here twice within 10 days and we loved the beach lifestyle each time. We will stay again for the next cruise or just to visit Hollywood Beach. Fantastic price, great location and tons to see.
GGuest UserThe service was excellent. All the people at the front desk and the shuttle driver, we’re very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was mediocre. I liked the location, because this hotel is on the end of a road and far from any highway, so I could sleep with out having to wear earplugs, as I have to do at a lot of the other hotels in the area.
