The front office was apparently closed when we called to have the situation taken care of. We left messages but got no response at all, not even the next morning when we checked out."

"This hotel is a real gem nestled in amongst the high rises of the Hollywood neighbourhood of Fort Lauderdale. It is a family owned and operated establishment. Super clean and comfortable accommodations with many thoughtful touches. The courtyard is beautiful tropical oasis with a heated swimming pool surrounded by lush foliage and plants. It's even lovelier after dark when all the twinkle lights are on. Our stay here was wonderful - highly recommended!!"

"This place is straight garbage. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER. The staff is incompetent. The sheets had blood and stains when we arrived. They lost our bags for hours. The elevators take 45 mins each trip. Oh and the valet damaged the tire of my car. Wall to wall garbage. This place should be condemned for how stupid and careless they are towards their high paying guests. Valet also takes 30 mins to get your car and the valet manager demanded a mandatory tip. Incompetent and ignorant people run this trash building"

"The place is "quite" nice because it's Miami Hollywood Beach, but it's hard to find the front desk because there are many different buildings on different blocks that belong to the same property. A surprise was that the sign said it includes parking, but you had to pay for it separately, and you also had to pay extra resort taxes, which weren't mentioned anywhere either. We arrived at 10 p.m., and when we asked about this, the front desk responded, "Either you pay it or you have to leave and file a dispute with the website." Quite rude, ruining your vacation from day one. The rest of the staff was nice and attentive. The breakfast was plentiful and American-style, but outdoors. On rainy days, you don't know what to do and have to take your meals to your room, which can be 200 or 300 meters away on foot. It's one block from the beach, so the location is very good, although the beach is full of seaweed... Anyway, two blocks from the beach and two blocks from the sand. I don't think I'll come back because it's much more expensive than advertised and you end up paying more than what you get."
