Pingtung Beach Hotels

"We had a great stay here. We were right across from the beach( no swimming beach but was great for kids to play in the sand). Staff were friendly. We were just a minute’s walk from the night market, great for the kids to go play some games and get food easily. Breakfast shop was also just up the street from the hotel. Parking is also offered by the hotel which is located behind the hotel. No complaints here. Looking forward to staying here again."

"The hotel is located on Sha Island in Kenting. Parking is very convenient. The scenery on the beach opposite Sha Island is quite beautiful. There are no shops nearby. The nearest store is in Eluanbi. There is a 7-11 in about 3 minutes by car. The hotel is quite large and clean. There is a refrigerator Drinks are free and have high CP value."

"Hotel situated about 5 mins walk from Fangliao station. Good local food around the hotel and a supermarket next to it makes it better. Nearby the sea too.. unfortunately I was given a lower floor hence I got little of the sea view.. it’s a little pity.."

"The room is clean, well-equipped, and of sufficient size. They also thoughtfully prepared a wide variety of biscuits, candies, tea bags, and coffee. It was an impeccable accommodation experience and a perfect vacation. If I come to South Bay again, I will definitely visit again."

"Overall our stay was great! This was our first time in Taiwan Kenting, we were looking for somewhere easy to go from Macau with nice holiday beach feel.  We used to go to Thailand but we wanted a change this time. Location wise it’s very convenient 2 mins walk to the night market where you have tons of food options, street stalls or restaurants wise. You have couples of 7 elevens, family mart, watsons all you need in case you forget to pack something.  There’s bus station “xiaowan” very convenient for sightseeing if you don’t rent a car. Pretty on time and big coaches very comfortable with AC. In terms of amenities, we thought the hotel could have more beach amenities, beach bar or restaurants would add a huge value for the hotel. Many families would stay all day by the beach if they have bar/restaurant. It was a shame its was closed… Also the sun lounges could be a bit more comfortable simply just add a thin cushions on top. And again would be great to have a bar for quick bite by the pool. Our room was the ground floor ones with Jacuzzi, it was a lovely touch since they don’t have bathtub in the bathroom. The little garden is a great touch for morning meditation. :) We also did a nighttime activity with the hotel by the beach to hunt crabs. It was a great activity and the staff did a great job explaining and helping out. Food wise, we had breakfast buffet in all 5 days, it was a big selection of food but not much variety. We had a lunch by lobby bar… but was not up to our taste unfortunately. There is much better options outside or hotel. Oh and they did a little decoration since it was my bday and offered a cheesecake to the room by a robot :). All in all it was a great experience hopefully they will step up the pool and beach area."

"The owner is really friendly and you can connect with her on LINE to ask her anything. She even helped us make a booking for Partyworld which would not let us make a booking as tourists. The room is large and clean, even though the fittings and furniture are not the best. The location at the start of the Kenting night market is really good and the family have a stall that sells amazing watermelon milk. The owner is local and has lots of contacts, she arranged for a local driver to bring us around one day who was really knowledgeable and accommodating. Overall, a solid recommend."

"The overall experience is really good, and the CP value is super high! The hotel is in a very convenient location, not far from the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium or Kenting Street, and transportation is quite convenient. The lobby is clean and bright, and the service staff are friendly. Although some of the facilities in the room were not so new, the sea view outside the window made us feel very good when we woke up in the morning. There is also breakfast provided, which is diverse and tastes good. There are many choices for both adults and children. The key point is that I got rewards by booking a room through Trip.com this time. The price was much cheaper than other platforms, which was totally worth it! Next time I come to Kenting, I will still give priority to this one!"

"From arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The staff and crew displayed warm hospitality and were attentive to guests' needs. Like many hotels in Taiwan, in-room utilities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own. Sunshine Liv partners with a scooter rental shop that delivers and collects the scooter directly at the homestay. The rental price is reasonable at TWD 400 for 24 hours, and there’s no requirement to return the scooter with a full tank. The homestay is also conveniently located, with the nearest night market just a 10-minute scooter ride away. We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with stunning ocean views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The TV offers a wide selection of channels across various genres, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the homestay serves a delightful home-cooked style breakfast. Overall, we highly recommend visiting Kenting, and Sunshine Liv is an excellent choice for accommodation! P.S. Complimentary parking is available for in-house guests, but the parking space is quite narrow, so drivers should proceed with caution."
