What I liked: smart hotel room that’s English friendly with great movie selection, basic minibar beverages, upgraded room with a private garden, comfortable bed, wonderful location and aesthetically pleasing. What I didn’t like: porch door open upon arrival to seemingly air out some odd smell, though I was told I could stay in my upgraded room the next night if I decided to extend I was later told it was unable, I could hear the literal sounds of people using the bathroom in the middle of the night (thank God the movies helped to quiet everything) with the toilet flush sounding like it was mine and no breakfast option, which I was aware of ahead of time. It’s moderately clean and a good place to sleep if you are a hard sleeper. I paid for technology and aesthetics and lost sleep, causing me to have to check into another hotel early to sleep the next day, missing out of valuable daylight hours from being so drained from staying at this hotel. Unfortunately, I won’t be back to this hotel, though I plan on visiting this wonderful city many more times.

Nice place, friendly staff. Plenty of food to eat around the hotel. Though the hotel uses central AC, so for travellers from tropical climates, you might need to be wary. Apart from that, hotel room is clean & spacious. Front desk is really helpful too.

My wife and I came to Suzhou for a trip and chose this newly opened hotel. When we checked in, we learned that it was a brand of InterContinental. Built by the lake, Indigo has a beautiful view. The hotel's entrance fragrance is niche and stylish; the lobby design has smooth lines and incorporates Su Shi's style. Of course, the hotel's service is also very good. The housekeeper Vicky added my WeChat when I checked in. During my stay at the hotel, she kept in touch with me to confirm my needs and stay experience. Thank her very much. My wife and I will come again if we have the chance.

The view from the 24th floor is very good, you can also see the Oriental Gate and the panoramic view of Shantang Street at night. I have lived in this hotel since Tianjin. The environment is clean, the room is large, and there are free food and drink tastings. The Suzhou store is a ten-minute walk from Shantang Street, which is convenient. I left my cosmetic bag in the hotel and they mailed it back to me. I am really grateful.

Hengli Hotel is really considerate and enthusiastic. During my stay, I was impressed by the service attitude of the hotel housekeeper, Miss Jiang Yining. She introduced me from the front desk to the guest room bit by bit. The little girl who loves to laugh, her warm smile and meticulous and thoughtful service made me feel the warmth of home. The room I stayed in was spacious and bright, with a reasonable layout, which brought me an extremely comfortable experience for my stay. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, such a room is very satisfying. The bedding in a hotel is very good, with soft mattresses, clean sheets and bedding, which brings me sweet dreams every night.
The breakfast provided by the hotel is varied and nutritionally balanced, combining Chinese and Western cuisine, meeting the taste needs of different guests, making every breakfast a wonderful enjoyment. In the future, Lao Suzhou will still choose Hengli Hotel.

I came to Suzhou on a business trip and chose this hotel. Seeing that it opened in 2015, I was worried that the room facilities were old, but when I arrived, I found that the room was still very good, the facilities and equipment were still durable, the room was spacious and bright, and the sanitation was also very clean, which added a lot of satisfaction to this stay. The check-in at the front desk was also very fast, without any delay. The whole process was very smooth, and the staff were also very warm and welcoming. The hotel is also close to Hanshan Temple. It is very pleasant to go for a walk after the business trip. Today's rain has a more misty Jiangnan flavor. Overall, it is great and recommended!

Facilities in the room are in good conditions. Free water bottles and few snacks to grab at the front counter. There is one washing machine on the 3rd floor. My room is next to the elevator so I can hear the noise all nights cause of the delivery robot.
The balcony is huge facing the street because I stayed on the 2nd floor so there is no privacy on the balcony better stayed inside with curtains closed.
The staff helped me arranged Didi to Railway station (15mins) in the early morning communicate via WeChat in advance helped a lot ( The owner picked me up at the railway station when I arrived booking in advance as well)

As soon as I entered the hotel, the waiter brought two cups of hot tea. The glass cups were covered with cup covers to prevent burns. The waiter enthusiastically introduced the hotel's facilities. In the evening, there were warm suppers, hot porridge, rice wine, side dishes and snacks. The buffet breakfast in the morning was also very rich. The room was also very clean. There is also a balcony upstairs in the hotel with a view. It is not far from the subway station and even closer to Pingjiang Road Pedestrian Street, which is only a 2-minute walk. Overall, the service is very warm and the transportation is very convenient. The only small suggestion is to add a layer of film on the glass doors of the toilet and shower room to avoid changes.

I booked Tongli Yiyuan Garden Inn for a last-minute trip, and afterwards I was glad that I made the right decision in such a hurry.
After arriving in Tongli, we couldn't enter the ancient town because it was not yet 5 o'clock. We contacted the inn, and the girl who answered the phone suggested that our luggage could be picked up from the entrance of the scenic area in advance. So my husband and I were able to stroll around the outskirts of the ancient town and chat with local residents, and we quickly passed the waiting time.
When we arrived at the inn, the girl at the front desk told us that our room had been upgraded and our luggage had been delivered to the room. This gentle and pretty girl personally took us to the room where the air conditioner was already turned on and helped turn on the floor heating. It is gloomy and chilly in the south of the Yangtze River in January, but the guest room is as warm as spring.
The room was clean and tidy. The couch at the entrance is perfect for two people to sit opposite each other and drink tea. The Zhengshan Xiaozhong tea provided by the inn is warm and delicious, which instantly eliminates most of the fatigue after a day of running around. The bedding in the room is clean and comfortable. Outside the crabapple-shaped window is the inn's private courtyard - with rocks, flowers and birds, pavilions and corridors, peaceful and elegant. Later I learned that this was originally an ancient private garden, now run by its descendants.
After taking a short nap in the room, we went downstairs to look for food. We unexpectedly met a kitten in the lobby. The sweet meowing sound added warmth to this quiet old house.
As time goes by, we are lucky enough to come across such a beautiful private garden!

JJairoOur experience at this hotel could not have been better—it was truly beyond our expectations. The location is perfect, nestled in a historic house with sophisticated decor that exudes charm and elegance. The staff went above and beyond to please us, attending to every detail with care.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious afternoon tea, featuring a homemade tiramisu that was absolutely delightful. The staff is well-prepared to receive foreign guests; Miss Yang, in particular, speaks excellent English and is very kind.
Overall, we strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and exceptional stay in Zhouzhuang.

NNuonuo（minsuban）I have been here 4 times and I still like it very much. Marriott's Suzhou Technology City Yuansu Hotel has a lot of details. I like to eat their fried chicken and bread for breakfast. I didn't eat Laba porridge during the Laba Festival. I didn't expect to eat it at the hotel. The hotel operation management is very online, no wonder the business is so good on weekdays. The breakfast room is full, and I am a tourist who is super loving! ! ! I remember the first time I went to 12.13. At that time, the hotel seemed to have just opened and was adjusting some details. Later, I went with my girlfriends in a few days. I was very happy when I had breakfast. There were many types. The bread was freshly baked and delicious! ! All categories are very fresh. Later, I came with my boyfriend. It was very convenient to charge here. I came again yesterday and found that their front desk staff spoke very good English. The front desk lady who received me was also very good! ! I was particularly impressed because she wanted to register as a Marriott member, and she helped me a lot in the process, especially unexpectedly also sent me welcome fruit. There are tips next to the air conditioner, so that the air conditioner is very simple. I don't know how to open it for the first time. For this detail, I can feel the operator's intentions. The bathrooms are all Kohler's, the towels are clean and have a faint fragrance, and the bed is very, very comfortable! ! ! ! The quilt is soft and I took a lot of photos in the hotel. I really like to come here and want to relax every time I rest. As soon as I enter the hotel, it is very fragrant. There is an aromatherapy machine.

TTuscany RoseI am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me.
The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs.
Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful.
Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy.
As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels.
In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

I particularly like the location because it is within walking distance from the Kunshan Culture and Art Center. It is so convenient to watch performances from Shanghai, especially when there are some popular performances that cannot be bought in Shanghai. The curve saves the country and the price-performance ratio is unparalleled.

RRuthWe were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂
The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally.
For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁
Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.

GGuest UserPros: Very good location for walking around Pingjiang road. Very handy Suzhou train station pick up service, would recommend utilising for anyone arriving by train. The room was spacious and the bed really comfortable.
Cons: bathroom had a bad smell emanating from it. There was quite a lot of construction happening while we were there, started around 7am and didn’t finish until after midnight. Would recommend bringing ear buds. Shower pressure was ok but not amazing. There is also no elevator so you will need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the rooms which are all on the first floor.

PPo LingOur twin room is very spacious and cozy. We loved how the staff speedily gave us an air purifier when we said we smelled some cigarettes smell. It helped refreshing the room fairly quickly. The fixtures and fittings are very useful, from good size of wardrobes, suitcase space, sofa, desk, bed and pillow are reasonably comfortable and not too soft. Housekeeping is very neat and tidy as well. We particularly like the open view from window facing the shopping arcade (traditional low rise houses). Last but not least, we wanna thank Hailey Song for going an extra mile and helped us return a parcel to SF upon check-out. Will recommend others upon their visit to Suzhou :)

MMr CKSStayed 2 nights 2 rooms in Pan Pacific Suzhou, it felt like you’re staying in a ancient Palace which sounds awesome, but given how competitive hospitality is in recent years have evolved in China, they fell short in some important areas.
II’m not sure how to review this hotel, as this falls under the Pan pacific brand, guests will have certain expectations. Its ok some amenities are dated, it’s still a comfortable stay.
But I wished they had more friendly check in service, better coffee (I don’t why they are using 90s small coffee cup, no latte) better free Hanfu (a free but very limited ancient costume) experience, better slippers..
Despite these hiccups, they managed to offer a value for money stay especially for families, large groups, etc. overall a good experience, if you are not a nit picker like me 😀

DDRAGANLocations was convinient , 15 mins walk to the downtown. It's clean but if I compare with their hotel Citadines in Shanghai this one is a little bit older so I will rate with 3.5/4 stars only. Breakfast was nice tho , we had a chance to eat until 10:30am which was amazing since we wanted to sleep a little bit longer.
