AichiyudexiaocatThe location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! The great location meant I could pop back to the hotel to drop off my shopping, which saved a lot of time. Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. When checking out, you can use the self-service machine on the first floor, which is super quick. Cars can pull right up to the entrance in the morning and evening. At other times, you have to walk a short distance, but overall, it's very convenient – a one-stop shop for eating, shopping, and exploring!

SurongThe front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly. The room was very quiet and well-equipped, with universal power outlets, so no adapter was needed. The hotel's surroundings were lively, making shopping very convenient. There's a 24-hour convenience store right across the street, and Hongdae shopping street is just a 5-minute walk away.

Guest UserThis was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, truly the best. I was only really there to sleep, so it more than met my needs. Having a convenience store right under the hotel was super handy. My only minor gripes were that the shower stall was a bit small, and adjusting the water temperature was tricky.
The hotel staff were incredibly kind. They showed me how to use the coffee machine, told me I could enjoy breakfast on the balcony, and even used a translation app during check-out to tell me how happy they were to have guests from Japan. They were truly warm and welcoming. I'd definitely love to stay here again!

Absolutely loved my stay here, it was super comfortable and I felt very safe throughout! From the time I spent in the dining area, I noticed a lot of young travellers and even international working professionals stay here, so everyone is very respectful in regards to quiet hours, cleanliness, and minding their own business. I was impressed upon arriving to my room and was even more impressed by the smart design of the shower system! Everything is provided, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, makeup remover, towels, hair dryer, and even toothbrush+toothpaste. Even if you’re missing something there’s a CU convenience store within walking distance away. Every part of check-in was smooth including setting up your locker area ! Overall very happy with my experience!

Anonymous UserWe stayed at the Acube Hotel Dongdaemun during a recent layover, and it turned out to be an excellent, fuss-free choice for a short stopover in Seoul. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was incredibly quick and efficient, which we highly appreciated after a tiring flight. The rooms themselves were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind and recharge. Additionally, the location is very convenient for exploring; it is situated just 1.5 kilometers from Myeongdong Street and its famous night market, making it easy to pop out for some world-class street food and shopping without wasting time in transit. Overall, it is a highly recommended spot for anyone looking for a seamless, comfortable, and well-located stay.

The hotel surroundings are nice, and the front desk staff speak basic English. On the first day, I found a midge on the curtains, but otherwise, the cleanliness was acceptable, and there was no drain smell from the bathroom. Disposable slippers were provided, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. Everything in the minibar, except for water, was chargeable.
I booked a hotel in Gangnam because I was attending a concert at KSPO Dome.
Pros: After the concert, it was usually easy to find a seat on the Express Line 9, and I could quickly reach Bongeunsa Station. There aren't many restaurants on the way back to the hotel, but there are several convenience stores.
Cons: The walk from Bongeunsa Station to the hotel is really, really far, and you have to climb a gentle slope before descending! Cheongdam Station is about half the distance, but coming from Olympic Park, you'd need to transfer from Line 5 to Line 7, and Line 5 is usually much more crowded after events.
Additionally, I had extended my stay through Trip.com before check-in, but the front desk initially thought I had only booked one night. After some communication, they found the extension order and processed it. However, on the second night, my room card stopped working and needed to be re-authorized. I hope the platform and the hotel can improve this issue.

Qianqian Hotel was truly the highlight of my trip. The ambiance is unique, and you can tell the owner has great taste and vision just by looking at the bamboo at the entrance and the decor in the common areas. I booked a suite, and it was incredibly spacious. Compared to the tiny business hotel I stayed in before, which cost over 2000, this room was so much more comfortable. The front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze even though I arrived quite late. The only minor inconvenience is that you have to take the stairs, but given how comfortable my stay was, it really didn't matter. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to Hongdae, which isn't super close, but I mostly took taxis anyway, so it was still convenient. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely, with lots of small cafes, bakeries, and a small supermarket nearby, making it very convenient. For this price, location, and environment, it was truly a delightful surprise! Highly recommend!

There's not much in the way of service in Korea, so that's pretty normal. They can store luggage for you, and at least they don't give you a dirty look, which is a plus. However, this hotel doesn't clean rooms daily. I paid over 1000 and still didn't expect that; they only clean once every four days! The windows in this hotel are designed in a way that lets in a lot of light, so if you're sensitive to light while sleeping, bring an eye mask! Definitely avoid the lower floors, or be sure to bring earplugs!
Ctrip's customer service was excellent and kept trying to resolve issues, but there's no negotiating with hotels abroad. So, for places like this, it's better to book through a major platform, otherwise, it can be a really frustrating experience!
I found short hairs on the bed in another room, and they actually asked me how I could prove the hair was theirs. All of us have long hair... so, Koreans have a strange way of thinking. If you're a clean freak, you might want to bring your own bedding.

Guest UserThe biggest highlight is definitely the location — it’s super convenient, close to Gangnam’s main areas, restaurants, cafés, shopping, and public transportation. It made getting around Seoul really easy.
The only downside is that the room is quite small, especially if you have large luggage or are staying for several nights. There isn’t much space to fully open suitcases comfortably.

Location is perfect! 2 minutes walking distance to seonyudo station and there’s A LOT of coffee shop, especially internationa famous Starbucks just next door.
English speakers are available but maybe they could be more friendly in attending guests. However, rooms are beautiful and clean. Housekeeper were very friendly and helped with things we requested! Overall stay was wonderful~ Will stay again when i visit seoul next time.
