Water temperature is comfortable and magically washes away your fatigue. Personnel is kind and helpful, they used translator to explain everything to me. I was provided with shuttle bus on check-in and check-out to nearby station (kawaryo onsen station). This place is perfect if you want to detox from city bustle and cleanse your thoughts. Nearby konbini is 1h away on foot (or 15 min on car) so I advise you to stock up your supplies in advance if you need any."

"We had a wonderful stay at Manza Kogen Hotel. Its mountain location offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The onsen facilities were excellent, with a variety of hot spring baths that were both relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast was also very good, featuring a delicious selection of traditional Japanese cuisine that gave us a great start to each day. The only downside was the lack of Wi-Fi in our room, which made it inconvenient to stay connected. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall experience. Overall, Manza Kogen Hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a quiet mountain retreat with excellent hot springs and authentic Japanese hospitality."

"It was a bit far from Yubatake, so it was quiet and nice. On the way there, I walked while looking around the village, and after checking out, they took a shuttle to Kusatsu Terminal, so I could travel comfortably. The staff were friendly and the meal was delicious. It was truly healing to relax in the hot springs at the hotel. There was no shower room in the Japanese room, but since I often go to hot springs, it wasn't an inconvenience. The hot spring water was good and there was an open-air bath, so I didn't feel the need to make a pilgrimage to other hot springs."

The dinners ordered by domestic travel agents are all buffets, but the dinners ordered through overseas official websites are kaiseki cuisine, so if you want to experience kaiseki, you should order it on the official website yourself. The buffet breakfast and dinner are quite rich, and you will definitely have no problem eating enough. The hot spring is open from 2 o'clock every day to 10 o'clock the next day, and there are basically no people. The hot spring in the open-air bath is a rare cotton-no-yu in Gunma, which is very nourishing to the skin."

"I was suspicious because of the low price, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived (Family room, 5000 yen/night). Breakfast was included, the room was modern and spotless, and as expected from a hot spring town, the public bath's water was superb. Plus, there was a barrel-shaped sauna where you could do your own *Löyly*, which is a dream for sauna lovers. However, the temperature takes a while to get really hot, so you might need to stay in there a bit longer."

"I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Kusatsu Onsen. It was close to the Yubatake and other sightseeing spots, so we were able to efficiently visit all the must-see spots! I was traveling with my elderly mother, and they changed our room so we wouldn't have to climb so many stairs!! The hot spring bath and the washing area were never crowded, so we were able to relax and soothe our travel fatigue. I was very satisfied☆"

"The hot springs were nice, but overall the service was disappointing considering the price. The food was plentiful, but the quality was mediocre. What was most disappointing was that despite being told to take our time, the food was served quickly and it was over in no time. We usually drink a fair amount of alcohol, but we only had beer and no time to drink any other alcohol. I've stayed at many supposedly high-end ryokans in the past, but the service here was quite disappointing. However, the hot springs were excellent."

"The room I was able to get at the last minute was the one closest to the front desk. I was like, "Wait, it's not wrong to stay alone in such a great place, right?" (Because there was a next room...). The hot springs were free-flowing from the source, and some were unavailable, but the temperature varied depending on the bath, and you could enjoy the scenery. The soft water was a little hot, but it felt good to seep into your body. I think dinner was a regular kaiseki course, but it was very filling. The taste was not too strong or too weak, and I couldn't help but eat it. But by the end, I was so satisfied that I wondered if I had eaten too much. People with small appetites may not be able to finish it. Breakfast was also very good, and personally the hot spring rice porridge was a big hit. I didn't even need the regular white rice. Maybe eating hot spring water works well for my stomach, because I didn't feel heavy. As you can see in the photo, the basic breakfast is Japanese, but they also offer milk, coffee, yogurt, and desserts. Price-wise, I was more than satisfied with the price for a single person (though this is not the inn's fault at all. The way the external website writes, my lack of awareness, and my failure to check with the inn beforehand. In the end, I paid for two people's accommodation, but they also prepared all the meals for two people, which was rude of me). However, the landlady and all the other staff were very polite and I enjoyed the hot springs, the food, and the hospitality. It's in a slightly inconvenient area from where I live, but I would recommend it to others and would like to stay again if I have the opportunity; it's such a good impression of the inn."
