I arrive early to the hostel, the capsule room is not ready for check in. I keep my huge luggage bag at the locker, free of charge for 6 hours. Room is decent, comfortable. If you have large suitcase (like me), you would need to place them on the bed so that it’s easy to retrieve your items. Every occupants are courteous, not much noise at night. The shower cubicles need some grouting at the corners while the toilet rubbish bin should clear on hourly basis to keep the sight and smell pleasant. Reception staffs are friendly and helpful. I could not do any laundry because my non-China phone cannot download the app :(

Facilities: Not only is there a large and comfortable common lounge for dining, chatting, and games, but it's also specially equipped with various musical instruments like guitars and ukuleles. There's even a dedicated vanity room, which is incredibly thoughtful for those who appreciate a touch of refinement in their lives!
Cleanliness: Absolutely five-star! From the bedding and bathrooms to the common areas, everything is spotless and meticulously maintained – clearly a lot of care goes into it.
The lounge is lively every evening, and the soundproofing between the lounge and the dorms is excellent. You can chat freely in the lounge without worrying about disturbing anyone trying to rest.

From various angles, I am quite satisfied with their home. You can turn on the air conditioner by yourself, unlike young couples who say they won't let you turn on the air conditioner. In addition, even the laundry room and the bathroom are air-conditioned. It's not very convenient to go to the bathroom in winter. The bathroom is separated by a wall, which is safe. The corridor and the door are directly connected to the wall, so there is no need to worry about someone peeping or worrying about its safety. Moreover, they all use credit cards. From many angles, I think the security of their home is the best among the youth hostels in Hangzhou. I also like their blackboard mode, which is super suitable for people who like to paint in winter. Their hair dryer only blows the clothes, so the clothes are relatively dry. They also provide washing machines, and those who like can come more. The mirrors are all bright. The makeup mirrors are smart and can turn on the light, which is very suitable for girls to put on makeup.

This place is okay but I had slightly higher expectations to be honest. Cleanliness is alright, they give you a bag with a small towel upon request, both to be returned. Has free water dispensers, toiletries and a microwave. Common areas don't have a vibe but you can prepare and have your food and play video games as everyone else. The biggest common area is to the right side of the reception, which, as per usual, they don't tell you.
There is that Olympic Stadium nearby, but the city center is actually on the other side of the river. From here you will either need to take public transportation or a cab to West Lake or other interesting parts of town. Walking to the light show on the other side of the river bank took more than 1.5 hrs and it is not supposed to be walked.
There are no useful signs on the building but the way to get here is to use the ”hotel entrance” and use the single elevator straight ahead. Do not turn right to use the elevators in the elevator room. If you do, only the very right one brings you to the 5th floor where you will check in. Very confusing and no signs to help you. It also might take a bit until the right elevator arrives.
The shoe rack was inside the room, which resulted in a very smelly room. Guitar with old strings, barely playable. If I came back, I'd rather try out another place.

I stayed in the 6 bunk female dormitory during china’s golden week and pretty much stayed indoors the whole time 😂 The hostel environment is quite good, there is a 360 degree view of the city. The lounge area is quite big and(I think around 50+ 60 chairs) and there are people like me staying till the wee hours of the night, it still feels safe at that time. (there is usually one staff at the counter at all times, I once had an issue with my keycard at 4am and thankfully there was someone around). There are a lot of thoughtfully placed access points for charging items as there are quite a number of people that are on their computers, either working or playing games. As a foreigner, what I enjoyed the most in this hostel is the 外卖架子 and 快递架子, very convenient for online shopping (receiving and returning items both). The fact that the girls’ dormitory is on a different floor and requires a key card to access the floor, also felt quite safe. The single rooms are on the same floor as the lounge, floor 27, which is a lot more convenient, but there are a lot more of our buggy friends.

I would only give it 7 out of 10. The guy at the front desk is very easy to get along with, and he has a cute dog.
The bed was indeed quite soft, but it creaked loudly. Every time I turned over, it would make a noise. When I turned on the air conditioner in the middle of the night, I was so hot that I took off my clothes but it didn't work. Finally, I couldn't stand it anymore and opened the door a little. As shown in the picture, the heat from the air conditioner all ran to this corner. It was really uncomfortable.

I didn't know the hostel was under renovation when I made the reservation. When I arrived, I saw the public areas were a mess. I thought as long as the room and bathroom were clean, it would be acceptable. It's ok if the toilet didn't provide toilet paper. I don't know if it was a clogged toilet or a problem with the personal quality of the guests. They didn't flush the toilet after defecation, which was disgusting 🤮. The only thing that was heartwarming was the corner of the study room, the free drinking water supply, and the fact that everyone came on the fifth day of the Chinese New Year. The laundry and drying services were also good.

This youth hostel experience was fantastic! The vibrant atmosphere enveloped me upon entering the lobby. The colorful graffiti walls and shared tables and chairs were a creative touch. The space was filled with opportunities to chat and engage with friends from all over the world, instantly shattering the sense of familiarity. Although the rooms were shared, the beds came with blackout curtains, charging outlets, and individual lockers, ensuring both privacy and security. The bedding was clean and odor-free, and the bunk bed ladders were non-slip—all thoughtful details. The shared kitchen was fully equipped, allowing me to team up with my roommates to cook and share meals every night. The location was excellent, with a bus stop and a snack street nearby. The owner was friendly and engaging, and the Werewolf and city hikes he organized were super fun. The value for money was excellent, perfect for solo travelers or students. I'll definitely be back!

It is a youth hostel full of experience. It is not difficult to find that many small details are taken care of to make the guests feel warm, such as the wide stairs to the upper bunk, disposable cushions in the toilet, and each bed has its own room light. The on/off key, and the most considerate thing is the water barrier in the shower room. I have never stayed in any hostel or hotel that provides the above facilities at the same time. As for the study room and music restaurant downstairs, they are also unique. They are overflowing with literary and artistic style. The study room even provides Japanese comics. The lady at the front desk also explained it very politely and patiently. Surprisingly, she also provided soy milk for breakfast, which was delicious. I really want to savor it carefully next time I come back, and I look forward to seeing you again!

The room was very clean and there was no one to disturb us every day. I have stayed here four or five times. The front desk was also very enthusiastic and there was no negative emotion when I asked him for help.

EEnderSlideWhat an awesome camp,
each night, there is an event organized such as games, expeditions…
Their are lockers to keep your belongings in, but we feel very safe even if you left everything on your bed
This is very huge and you can make friends of your age easily as long if you want (and if you are young enough)
You can order *******, there is a pick up place inside the youth hostel, or buy snacks or utility stuff at the end of the corridor.
There is only one electrical plug in your bed but there are many on the rooftop where everyone goes to play the evening.
I spent 3 good nights out there.

SSeraphineNoelleThe address in Amap was completely wrong, so I struggled finding the hostel. I had booked it because of the metro being nearby, which was not the case in the end. BUT, this made me a new local friend who showed me the way, so it turned out well.
It is situated in the main area, so to get anywhere, you'll walk through the hustle & bustle, but it's in a calm street, so you don't have any noise inside.
Some of the staff spoke English or used translation tools, but not all of them. But they were very kind. Also, it was cheaper to extend directly with the hostel and pay them instead of rebooking online.
I met some really amazing people in my dorm, which also added to my Hangzhou experience.
The WiFi sometimes didn't work so well, but that's just very usual in China I find.
They have free (mostly hot) water, and you can also buy water bottles from them.

__WeChat44120****Special soldiers arrived at Dongtou for a temporary reservation. I have also lived in the real-name yha youth hostel before. The experience will not be disappointed, but this experience is particularly different. What you can buy with money is the same hotel and homestay, which is just a place to sleep and rest. But the warmth of going home is really not exchanged with money. The boss and the proprietress are super nice, I hope that every traveler who is destined to live will cherish such a boss! Unfortunately, there is no picture, so there is no picture to prove anything. Meeting itself requires good luck to support it...

LLuca BricchiI had a good stay at this hostel in Hangzhou. It's located about 5–10 minutes from the nearest metro station, which makes getting around the city pretty easy. The staff speak a little English and were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms were also well maintained. A solid choice for a budget-friendly and convenient stay.
GGuest UserThis youth hostel has a clean environment, warm and thoughtful service, complete facilities, convenient transportation, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and high cost performance. It is an ideal choice for travel accommodation and is highly recommended!
