I recently stayed at Desti Youth Park in Xiamen, and overall, it met my expectations nicely. The location is a strong plus – tucked in a convenient part of Siming District, it’s within walking distance to several local attractions, eateries, and even public transportation. Despite being in the city, the hostel maintains a quiet and laid-back vibe, which I appreciated after a full day out exploring. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, suitable for solo travellers like myself. Staff were helpful when needed, and check-in was smooth. The room was clean and comfortable, with basic amenities well taken care of. It’s not a luxury stay, but it delivers what it promises – affordable, functional, and safe accommodation. The common areas were well-maintained and inviting, ideal for catching a breather, planning your day, or having casual chats with fellow travellers. I didn’t use the kitchen or laundry facilities, but they were available and seemed well-organised. One thing I appreciated most was how Desti Youth Park kept things simple but thoughtful. Sometimes, that’s all you really need. Would I stay again? Yes – especially for short trips when you want a balance between comfort, convenience, and affordability.

Really enjoyed my stay here, front desk was very helpful in answering our questions. There's also a dog and cat (so cute) and if you have any questions you can add them on WeChat and they'll answer you quite fast :) Do take note that there is no lift and you'll need to climb the stairs. There's also self-service washing machine at the back which you'll need to pay to use. Free baggage drop and there's a very big lounge area which is very suitable if you are traveling with friends or looking to make new friends. The bunk beds are usually on the first level. It's a bit far from convenience stores but you can order in takeout (they'll deliver to the front desk and you'll need to pick it up) else there's also some cafes and restaurants around the area. For cheaper eat you'll need to walk out abit more but it is still within a walkable distance. Although there's also someone singing at night from the nearby cafes, I do feel that the soundproofing is done well and couldn't really hear much after closing the door.

I'm very satisfied, especially with the separate bathroom and laundry room, which is very convenient. The owner is very kind, and my experience in Xiamen was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Xiamen. I wish the owner continued success in business and financial success.

The hostel is located in front of the Railway station & metro station. So it's easy to find and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. What I don't like is there is no locker available in the room. So you can't keep the valuables with you & a safety concern. However can keep it with the reception but they don't open for 24 hours.

I am delighted to book this hotel. Our trip to Xiamen work/play holiday . Location is super convenient, near zhongshan walking street, few min walk to bank, food, shopping mall is around this area. 非常靠近当地人的生活区 Room very clean & spacious for the price we paying Service counter staff and manager were so friendly and very customer oriented, our first time in Xiamen they even prepare cute maps when i ask for directions for nearby clinic/hospital for my wound dressing. We walk from our hotel to 八市 (local older days street market with old style clinic, fresh seafood stall, food stall), really impressed with this area. Amenities also 5star, basic item is available for guests shampoo, body gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, towel and many more. Thanks to Manager Wang & Jackie, we got a free room upgraded and seriously we are very happy to stay in this hotel. Highly recommended to backpackers, family, honeymooners , short business travelers who looking for reasonable accommodation. 非常接地气的酒店

This should be the best youth travel I have ever lived in. It is even better than a backpack for ten years. If you are not in a hurry, you really want to sleep for ten days and a half months. You need to change your shoes when you go upstairs. The sanitary conditions are impeccable. The bathroom is especially praised. The kitchen in the hall is a family configuration. You can cook by yourself or eat together. The hostel address is also very close to Caidie Bay. I thought for a long time. It seems that I can’t pick out any shortcomings. The boss is also very good. Hahaha. I still have to support it as a Moyou! ! I hope that the business can get more and more prosperous.

I drove from Jiangsu to Guangdong alone and visited Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. I heard that there were a lot of people in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area in spring, so I stayed in the youth hostel and learned more about the number of tourists in Wuyi Mountain from other tourists. In the end, I gave up this trip to Wuyi Mountain. It was my first time staying in a youth hostel. I personally felt that I had a good sleep, and I was not afraid of being disturbed by other roommates. I didn't care about the simple facilities. It was a good place to stay. A little joke, I had never stayed there before, and I forgot to bring a bath towel. I didn't find it until I finished taking a bath, so I had to use my underwear to dry my body first.

The room is damp and musty. These can be tolerated, but the public activity area is outside the room. It is still holding a symposium after half of Lingdian. It is also necessary to consider that everyone's work and rest time is different. I have lived in many youth travels. Other accommodations and activities are separated. If you can change it, it would be fine. The store was very enthusiastic. I originally booked for 2 nights. I changed the place directly the next morning. The nervous person was not suitable.

體驗感很好！主要地理位置很好，步行到雲水謠景區不用5分鐘。辦理入住速度也快，裏面設備齊全，房間衞生做的很細緻，完全看不到一點灰塵，值得推薦。

The sanitary environment has nothing to say, superb. Very close to the subway, there is a bus stop at the door, and it is very convenient to go to the scenic spot. The air conditioner in the room is very comfortable. The first time I saw the youth hostel with dry and wet separation, it was still the internal guard. The boss asked me to stay for a few more days while I was newly opened. Hahaha
