I had a great time in GridT hotel.
I read the review and some claim that the central market is far but it's actually just 2 mins walk from the hotel if you know the way. You should walk past the carpark and cut across and you reach the market almost immediately (instead of walking on the car road out and U-turn back to the market from the other side).
I am satisfied with the breakfast in GridT hotel and they offered me free upgrade and the facilities was excellent.
Thank you very much and had a great stay in Gyeongju.

It is near Pohang Jukdo Market.
It is an area with many motels around, but it is quiet at night.
It is located within walking distance of Jukdo Market,
A convenience store is also nearby.

GGuest UserPros: Spacious two-floor space. Quiet and wonderful place to relax. The very large private pool and the public pool is nice. The view in the back is of fields. There is a private outdoor seating for every room. book rooms 4,5, or 6 for better views.
Cons: A little out of the town. Cabs are easy to get unless it is raining or late a night. Suggestions for the hotel: please arrange for simple breakfast. There are no close by places to eat. The coffee shop opens at 10 am. Also please provide bath towels instead of just hand towels. The bed was small and very hard. The bedroom is very large so a larger bed would be nice.
With a better bed and a provision for breakfast, I would stay here again.
MManojlovicGoranClean and well locate, next to the bus station and 10 minutes walk to city center. The breakfast is decent ( self service and you make your own eggs).
The great thing is that the hotel provides a free bicycle. We explored the city and it was fun. Also there is a video game machine with all games from 90's and 00's. A great wave to revive the youth.
AAnonymous UserAlthough I'm the first to review on Trip.com, this caravan stay is super popular on Naver. They don't get many foreign tourists mostly locals. Lady boss doesn't speak English at all but I speak some Korean so it was okay. This has gotta be one of the best best best relaxing and calm place to be!! Totally in love with this caravan stay! Clean and functional. Big space. 2 toilets, a little tent (pocha) to have your dinner if you don't want to eat inside. Can BBQ at extra 20k won. A little out of the way. No way to get there unless you drive. But this place is just amazing! Look at the pictures provided. It looks exactly the same!
AAndreasMThe accommondation offers a luggage storage in the communal area which is protected via camera. The staff is not available in person throughout the day beside the check-in time. We got a free room upgrade because of our ”long-term” stay. The room was small with two beds and an own bathroom but enough and clean. The mattress is very hard and uncomfortable.
The best part was the free basic breakfast (coffee, tea, eggs, toast, butter, yam) and the communal area and kitchen to eat, work and communicate.
It´s nearby the bus terminal to reach all parts of Gyeongju including the KTX train station.

GGuest UserA luxurious and yet affordable hotel with friendly staff and a very nice owner. He gave us many tips about what to do in Yeongju and helped us plan our activities. The breakfast was delicous and they have an excellent Café Latte. The tea and the apples were also very delicious. The hotel also regards sustainability as very important, grow their own salad and offer many eco-friendly products in their rooms. The rooms itself are a pleasure to live in, with a comfortable bed with smooth sheets and a clean and well-equipped bathroom. We can warmly recommend staying at this accomodation!
EEugene1234First time in South Korea and first time in Gyeongju and wanted to stay more central. This was, quite literally in the center of things. I was easy access to the main commerical street and also walkable distance from most of the major venues in-town like the tombs, other tombs, musuems, parks etc.
We loved the host and was very attentive to our every need. The hanok place was on a quiet street so for those that are concerned the centrality would be noisy, it really wasn't. Do bring some eye masks if you're sensitive to light at night -- street lighting filters through.
GGuest UserWe had a very nice stay at Ran Hanok. Upon arrival we were welcomed and introduced to the building and our room. The Hanok is nicely located close to various historic sites which can be easily reached by walking or cycling along the riverbanks. Breakfast was a bit few (for a european) but was kindly served. The Hanok room has not much of equipment inside which is ok and part of the concept of traditional living. However, the floor heating was a completely new experience. Futon mattresses are kinda thin though and you might experience some back/hip pain.
AAnonymous UserStayed in a duplex. Size was cozy for 4A2C. Top floor has 2 single beds. Bottom floor had 1 queen and 1 super single. Small kitchen, has an outdoor patio for BBQ (host will setup fire for you, grill is provided foc). There was one free laundry wash (owner washes for you)per visit. We stayed 4nights and was struggling a little, especially in winter. Would have preferred for them to have one washer/dryer for guests to do own laundry.
Service was prompt and owner (retired couple) was friendly, ever ready to assist.
SSofia_PoeThe room is clean, it has a mini-kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. I loved the shampoo! There's a garden outside.
There's no reception, so you need to contact the owner to make arrangements. As far as I understand, there's a 15k-per-person fee if you check-in after 10 pm, but i wasn't asked for it in the end.
The location is a bit far away from the city centre: you need to walk for around a kilometre to the nearest bus stop (11, 100). There are a few convenience stores and restaurants on the way.
