The hotel is located in the center of Oxford, about 10 minutes' walk from the bus station. There are several chain supermarkets near the bus station, which is quite convenient. A refrigerator and a microwave are provided in the room, and the heating is sufficient. The toilet drains slowly, and the water will overflow if you are not careful when taking a shower.

Hotel location is good, there are many restaurants not far from the door, the town is quite crowded at night. The room was very clean, the bathroom was quite spacious, although the breakfast was simple, but the food was quite comfortable, it was recommended

Very good homestay. The area is small, but everything is available, especially very, very clean. Spotless! With a history of more than one hundred years, it is simple and elegant, and it is very close to the school where the child is interviewed! like very much! Hope to come again next time!

Very good, the original address of the hotel was under renovation, but I sent us an email before arrival, so I was also prepared, contacted the customer service and went to the new address, it is a very chic small British apartment, fully equipped environment is also very good, Very typical British kitchenette and layout. Great experience

Location ok, very close to Oxford city.
The room is quite small, but the transition is acceptable overnight, after all, the location is there.
The biggest bug is that there is no air conditioning. Although the summer in the UK is very short, the day I live may be the hottest day in Oxford. So lucky 🤣, I can’t sleep hot. Although the room is equipped with a small fan, it almost doesn’t work, and the fan has been useless for a long time. The area is full of dust.

The hotel is located in Summertown, a relatively wealthy area in Oxford. The town is beautiful and you can walk to Oxford in 30 minutes. There is a bus to Oxford Station at the hotel entrance. The hotel facilities and sanitation services can only be said to be average, because it is cheap

It's a B&B-style hotel, but it's a bit far away. Other things are good. I asked them not to clean the room, but the staff still cleaned it actively. In addition, the sound insulation and light blocking effects of the room are not good.

GGuest UserThe talkhouse was a really homely accommodation right outside of Oxford. The room was exactly like the pictures. The staff were incredibly helpful and I must say the showers is probably one of the best I’ve had in the uk. (Proper water pressure,temperature and drainage so I’m not swimming in my own filth). Also have a drink or dinner at the pub, it’s seems to be a popular favourite amongst the locals as well. One thing to note for light sleepers, the rooms are side by side so you might hear your neighbours & it is right by the road so you’ll be able to hear vehicles at busier times.

GGuest UserThe house has a relatively large backyard, which can park several cars. Since we rented a car and drove around the UK, we had to find a yard where we could park. It is close to Oxford University and you can walk there. The surrounding environment is very quiet and the room is very clean. We are a family of three and three beds are very convenient.

GGuest UserFantastic place for a quiet stay within a 25-minute walk of Oxford city centre. The accommodation is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making it a truly relaxing retreat. We had to be up early in the morning, but the location was very quiet. Mandy who assisted us with check in was incredibly professional and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. Highly recommend this gem.

SSalmanN100 Banbury is one of the better places to stay in Oxford; whether you’re there for work or leisure. It’s approx 300 feet from two bus stations, but if you’re up for it, a 20 minute walk from central Oxford.
Our check-in, luggage storage, and the check-out processed were seamless. The only reason I’d give this 4/5 for amenities is the lack of ironing facility in-room. Would be great if it had a Muslim shower too, but that’s the case with (almost) every place you’re going to stay at in England.

LLaurenI was in the Red Room which had the most fabulous view over Jesus College. The set up worked really well. The bathroom was a bit mouldy in some areas and the arrival instructions were confusing. Worth all that to get the view and location.
