I booked this hotel for a three day stay and had an amazing time. The front desk staff and the third-floor restaurant team were incredibly kind, sweet, polite, and respectful. The food was not only super delicious but also reasonably priced. The bathroom and blankets in the room were all spotlessly clean. It’s absolutely worth a visit – I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lhasa who’s struggling to pick a place to stay. You won’t regret booking here.

Taking advantage of the Qingming holiday, I came to Sosong Village to check in Nanga Bawa and encountered the only hotel with dozens of acres of viewing camps. The price was also very conscience. ”Jixianshan” equipment and facilities are complete, intelligent is relatively high, the front desk lady is also very awkward, sitting in the room or on the balcony can face Nanga Bawa, the experience is superb. Location: Suosong Village Center, View C. Camp: Sosong Village is a very few tens of acres of viewing camps, do not have to squeeze the viewing platform with people, in the camp can face Nanga Bawa and Doxiongla Mountain. Watching the snow-capped mountains, emptying yourself, taking pictures of the sunshine of Jinshan, the experience is full. Room: The quiet wind is very tasteful, but what surprised me was the bedding grade. The fabric is delicate and the support is good. At high altitude, you can sleep out of the texture of the city's five-star hotel. Plus water heating + free oxygen supply, warm at night is not dry, and I am not afraid of high reaction. Dining: The rooftop viewing restaurant and independent reception restaurant are very advanced, the dishes are exquisite, the taste is online, not a perfunctory ”scenic meal”. The roast yak beef is burnt and tender, with a full color and fragrance, especially recommended. Service: The butler and clerk are warm and thoughtful, and live comfortably and at ease. The location is very good. It's only a minute's walk to the Jokhang Temple. The room is very comfortable, the bed is big, there is heating, it's not cold at all, and there's plenty of hot water. There's an observation deck on the roof, where you can take photos with the Potala Palace. The boss is very enthusiastic and will help with luggage when going up and downstairs. Thank you very much!

Facilities: This was the only guesthouse I stayed at in Lhasa. The room had no unpleasant odors, no dampness, and no cigarette smoke. The downstairs decor was also nice, and the overall facilities felt very new! (However, the fireplace wasn't working; I really wanted to light some firewood for a photo, what a pity!) There was a bathtub, and heaven knows how wonderful it is to take a bath after a long drive—it's so necessary! The hairdryer was a Dyson, and the toiletries were individually packaged and smelled amazing! I absolutely loved the body lotion! Cleanliness: Good. I checked the bedding, and it was all very good! Environment: The interior is just a small courtyard, but there's a gate that can be closed, so it's quite safe at night! The rooms don't have any views; you can only see the Rainbow Courtyard. None of the rooms have a view of the Potala Palace, perhaps due to the location… Service: Excellent! Everything was responded to very quickly! The staff helped us with our luggage; we bought a lot of things towards the end of the trip, thank you! They also provided some local restaurant recommendations. The tip is that when we checked in, they gave us two complimentary drinks at the guesthouse bar downstairs, but no one reminded us (or maybe they did remind me and I forgot, only noticing when we left), so we went out for a drink. When we came back, we checked out the bar downstairs, and the ambiance and atmosphere were quite nice! They should have reminded us!! The breakfast was amazing! Much better than that five-star hotel! The staff were very attentive, clearing and returning our plates promptly. The rice noodles were incredibly delicious; I ate so much by myself… The yak yogurt had a strong flavor, and it tasted very authentic! In short, it was really delicious!!!

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street and other attractions. It can be reached in a few minutes on foot. It is also very convenient to take a bus or take a taxi. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the service is warm and highly recommended.

Staying at Dongmawa Homestay was definitely the best decision I made on this trip to Tibet! 🏨The location is fantastic! From the rooftop terrace, you can have a complete view of the Potala Palace at night. Having dinner or afternoon tea with friends on the terrace while enjoying the view was incredibly pleasant! The room amenities are comparable to a five-star hotel! It has a Dyson humidifier and hairdryer. There's also a washing machine with a dryer and a small refrigerator. The diffused oxygen supply helped me sleep soundly without worrying about altitude sickness. Their breakfast was absolutely amazing—so plentiful! The owner was warm and welcoming, the room was clean and cozy, and the Tibetan-style decor was full of delightful surprises. I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lhasa!!
