Nice, spacious facilities. Great location, we found it very convenient. Nice and helpful staff. Cons: 1. Smell of sewage from one of the toilets, had to keep it closed all the time. 2. Cleaning was in the morning the first few days, which was convenient when we were away, the last few days they came at 5-6 pm, when we were resting in the room. 3. Not very comfortable pillows.

I recently spent 14 nights at the Surat Marriott. While there were notable issues during my stay, I want to highlight both the positives and the negatives.
On the positive side, I have to commend the general manager, Abhisai. He personally came to speak with me on multiple occasions, listened to my concerns, and genuinely tried to offer comfort and solutions. His attentive approach was appreciated. Similarly, the head chef, Prabir, stood out for his exceptional hospitality at the restaurant. Every time I dined there, he offered to prepare fresh food and made sure I had a pleasant dining experience.
However, the downsides were significant. My initial room was right next to the lift and very noisy. Even after moving rooms, the noise issue persisted. In-room dining was also a letdown — every order took a very long time to arrive, which was quite frustrating for a hotel of this caliber.
In short, while certain staff members, including the manager and chef, made efforts to improve my stay, the hotel still needs to work on noise control, in-room dining efficiency, and housekeeping standards to truly meet five-star expectations.

GGuest UserGreat guys are always ready to help! I think that during the period when prices are inflated for hotels, but you need a decent location, you can use this hostel! We were with children, they were so comfortable that they did not want to leave the hostel 😂

IIrisMoonI booked here to attend GITEX. 15 minutes walk to the metro and Dubai mall, 2 supermarkets within walking distance. Location, superb. I removed one star from service satisfaction because I had waited 40 minutes in order to receive keys and pay local taxes, for check in. I don’t understand why our guy was late because I provided my expected arrival time in advance. Not the service you expect after a 10 hour flight. Nonetheless the respondent on Whatsapp was responsive. I thank him/her for being responsive. The room was clean and had everything you need during stay- fridge, microwave, washing machine, dish soap & sponge, few plates and cups. The downside was that they only provided limited towels (1 bath towel and 1 face towel per person) and for more they charge you. It would be nice to be a bit more generous on the towels, but overall I loved the stay. I would revisit if I come back to Dubai.

GGuest UserThe XVA Art Hotel is just the best for travelers looking for respite from modern western-style hotels. Located in old Dubai, it has no street address. From the street, you walk in 200 yards, rolling your luggage. XVA is an old estate with 4 walls surrounding an open courtyard. Room doors are secured inside with a wooden slider. On the outside, doors are secured with padlocks. The chef and server offer up wonderful breakfasts and (I assume, lunch and dinner). Reception staff is customer-oriented. This was my second stay at XVA and I would do it again. (It's also fun to encourage Uber and taxi drivers who have never before dropped off riders at XVA. Location is near Dubai Creek and easy to get transportation to and from. Hospitality, cleanliness, service, food, ambience - it's the best!

AAnonymous UserThis time I was transiting in Dubai and didn't want to spend a lot of money to stay in an airport hotel, so I found this accommodation. Because the online map was inaccurate, I was worried about where to stay before leaving. Thank you very much to the person in charge Azizi for his enthusiastic assistance and providing us with enough information before our arrival. The accommodation is simple but clean. The location is not too far from the airport, and the combined cost of taxi and accommodation is still more worthwhile than the airport hotel.

AAnaiskSpacious room, friendly staff and good breakfast with different options for all tastes. I especially highlight the guy from the tour desk, who kindly helped me plan my day off.
Cons: it is well located but you can't walk anywhere and there are no dining options nearby. The soundproofing of the rooms is also something to take into account since you can hear alarm clocks or in my case, a singing neighbor in the early morning.
Apart from that, recommendable. I would stay here again.
