The place is very accessible and convenient since it is near almost everything. Most of the staff were kind, hospitable, and accommodating, which we appreciated. However, during our check-in, the receptionist on duty lacked proper assistance and explanation. While we were carrying our belongings and trying to figure out where the elevator was, she was busy talking and laughing with her co-worker. We were not informed properly about how to bring our things to the room, so the experience felt unprofessional at that moment. Thankfully, one of the security guards noticed that we needed help and kindly assisted us with our cart and belongings. We truly appreciated his kindness and the hospitality shown by the other staff members.

The Manila Hotel has an old but elegant and luxurious style. Marble and stone finishing, tall ceilings and a grand piano at the back with a musician playing pleasant music greets you as you walk through the entrance. Lacking points from my personal experience: 1. The carpet floors need to be replaced. I had to change rooms because the first room I got had an unpleasant smell to it (they quickly changed my room after I went to the reception, so it wasn't terrible) and although I didn't notice until the end of my stay, the new room's carpet was frayed at the edges. 2. The night mode of the lights (many switches) completely cuts power to the power outlets. I didn't know and ended up waking up to a phone and power bank with a dying battery and needing to stay in the hotel a couple of hours until they finished charging. Maybe just a warning in the future? The good parts: 1. The service! People are SO accommodating, pleasant and efficient. Reception staff, waiters, bell boys and basically everyone greets you with a smile and tries to solve any problems with utmost focus and cordiality. 2. Traditional pride. Traditional fashion exhibition at the front was a great touch to my visit. The whole place (restaurants, pools, spa, rooms, etc) add to the experience. I could have stayed in the hotel and felt like I hadn't missed Manila's charm. 3. Excellent location. I realised early on that I could literally see every single thing from my ”1 day tour of Manila” from my hotel room. Nothing says great location like this.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and appreciated its consistency over time. I previously stayed here in 2018 and 2019, and I observed that the overall quality remains stable. The facilities and ambiance are still well maintained, which reflects good management. The service quality is also consistent. The staff are professional, responsive, and attentive to guest needs. The breakfast experience was a highlight. The food quality is good, and there is a decent variety of options available. Overall, this hotel continues to deliver reliable service and a comfortable stay. It is a good choice for travelers who value consistency and quality.

Exciting elevator ride because of the glass walls, we can see the city and Manila Bay. Very clean room and bathroom. I like the magnifying mirror the most. First time to experience buffet breakfast with waiting time to be seated and food trays going empty before they could be refilled — in short too many guests! Food was okay, although few choices for Filipino cuisine.

Our check in was 2 hours late- instead of the 2pm our room was fixed at 4pm. Room is small ideally for couples cuz literally a wall separates the bedroom and the shower room. Small lounge for the lounge access. The breakfast buffet was okay. They had taho that was good but already empty by 10am, i asked one server if they will serve more arbinal as there were still tons of soft tofu. He just said “ubos na po e” well obviously you have to refill it as the buffet ends at 10:30, i asked another server who asked the kitchen for a refill the arnibal-kudos to this server.

We had a pleasant stay at Swiss-Belhotel. The cleanliness is very good and comfortable. For the location, I would give it 4/5. It’s convenient overall, but it would be better if the hotel were located directly along the highway or main road, as this would make it easier to access and more convenient for guests traveling around the area. Staying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila. The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.

One of the most unique hotels in the Philippines, the ocean rooms have a full aquarium wall that's connected through all the rooms of that side. Different fish pass by at different times from room to room. They have great breakfast as well with a view of Manila bay while bacon is available on request for a small fee. Sunset views are awesome and dinner menu is well structured. While most of the hotel is spotless the main corridor outside the rooms could be cleaned more regularly as everyone is passing for there to get to the rooms. There was something odd in the morning just around the end of breakfast time. We could hear the chairs from upstairs being dragged on the wooden floor loudly around 9:30 am to 10:00 am, we were woken up several times as we tried to sleep after an early breakfast. The rest of the time it was whisper quiet and serene.

This 8-day stay was a basic place to crash, but it felt like they cut too many corners, leading to a lot of issues: 1. The hot water relied on solar, so the temperature was often too low. After the staff switched to the boiler, the water pressure became abnormal, and there was a strong, foul odor from a broken septic pipe. 2. The room didn't have any drinking cups, so I had to use my own disposable ones. The space was a bit small, and the old window AC unit was really noisy, which made it hard to sleep. 3. Housekeeping was pretty lackluster. They only changed the bedding and did a quick wipe-down of the bathroom; the floor was never cleaned during my entire stay. I hope the hotel improves its amenities, cleaning services, and water supply in the future to enhance the guest experience.

It's a 30-minute Grab ride from the airport if there's no traffic. The hotel is in a historical building, and you can really feel its grandeur in the lobby, hallways, and staircases. However, while it's near the coast, the surrounding area isn't very clean, so I wouldn't recommend walking around. A 5-minute Grab ride to Robinson Place will get you everything you need: a supermarket, a drugstore, and restaurants. The pool on the 4th floor has a great view and is easy to use as it's not crowded. The breakfast buffet is about average. Intramuros is also about a 5-minute Grab ride away.

We booked a suite room here because we had our wedding preparations at this hotel five years ago, and we expected the same quality of service and experience. Unfortunately, it feels very different now compared to before. Last night, there were two people sleeping in the lobby who did not appear to be hotel guests. We were wondering why they were allowed to stay there, as we understood that the lobby is intended for hotel guests. Additionally, the towels in our room appeared old and worn out. Overall, we believe that the cleanliness and security of the hotel should be reviewed and improved. There was also a drunk individual outside the 7-Eleven last night who was saying things to us, which made us feel scared and uncomfortable. Although the staff did ask him to leave, we still would have appreciated an apology regarding the incident. Overall, we were disappointed with this experience, especially since we chose this hotel based on the positive memories and standards we experienced during our wedding preparations five years ago.

I was dissatisfied with the facilities I stayed in. The glue on the washbasin was black and mild, and it looked dirty. There are no toiletries, so forget it, we all have their own. But to vomit, the facility description is seriously inconsistent: 1. No hair dryer. The hotel said that there was a hair dryer, and the result was not in the room. 2. There is no 24-hour front desk service. First there is no front desk, the front desk is the public reception, not the hotel front desk, the hotel has an Office, at 24F, but not 24 hours service, service time is from 10 am to 7 pm, there will be a small list when you stay. The service time indicated above is 10am-7pm! 3, the most opinion is that the swimming pool is the building, not the hotel, the use of charges! The pool is charged! My initial starting point for booking this hotel is to have a swimming pool, but anyone can think that this swimming pool is a building, not a hotel. There is an extra charge for use, Philippine pesos for adults and PHP 150 for children. The only thing that is gratifying is that the responsible manager is a Taiwanese girl, very enthusiastic, has provided a lot of help, and the staff is very enthusiastic. This is the only highlight of this hotel.

The overall place is decent, however, the linen cover seems to have already been used due to its pungent odour. Every time we asked for room service, it just made the whole room smell worse as the mop used to clean the room likely had not been changed or cleaned. There was even a time when the cleaner took the money that had been left out in the open by the table, although we were going to tip anyway, it is just concerning that they’d take whatever money’s left out without having prior knowledge of whether the money is going to be given. And that’s okay. All the staff are friendly and never missed to greet us. Parking infront of the hotel felt safer. Overall, Hotel Miramar is a catch! I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Good stay overall. The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable. Housekeeping could be a bit more thorough, but it did not significantly affect our experience. We would still recommend this hotel and consider staying again.

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful from start to finish. The front desk staff welcomed us warmly, and every member of the team was friendly, respectful, and always greeted us with a smile. Room service and the housekeeping staff were exceptional. They took the initiative to check if we needed anything, including making sure we had enough towels and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Their attentiveness made us feel genuinely cared for. The café staff were also incredibly courteous and accommodating. One of our companions was unable to have breakfast during the scheduled time, and they thoughtfully offered to prepare a packed meal instead. We really appreciated this kind gesture and their willingness to go the extra mile. Overall, our experience was excellent. The outstanding customer service and genuine hospitality made our stay memorable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

Overall it was a good stay, they give the breakfast for examinees at 4 AM to accomodate for our schedule so that's considerate. The room is neat and relatively clean too, I say relatively because there's a suspicious reddish stain on one of the pillow and one of the towels, we just didn't use those. For improvement though, I wish they included a hairdryer in the room like they said they would on the included amenities, I would've brought mine if I knew it's not gonna be included in the room. Also, the inside and crevices of the toilet isn't cleaned, not a big problem but as a clean freak, I was a bit bothered about that.

Perfect for travelers who prioritize location and safety over luxury services. It is situated in a very convenient and secure neighborhood. While the facilities are modest compared to more expensive chains, the price point is unbeatable for this area. Not for a picky person.

It’s a basic type of accommodation and affordable so never expect too much. The lift needs to be replaced any moment it might break down. The food offered tastes good and affordable. The staffs are friendly and approachable so lovely. The check in and check out process is hassle less. Window lock needs to be repaired. They need to add bidet on their toilet. Wifi connection needs to be enhanced.  Overall the hotel facility needs to be renovated.

Great hotel if you don't want to overpay! We chose him for the second time - this is an indicator!)) Simple but perfectly clean room and bed. It is convenient to get from/to the airport, so we took a room between flights. Absolutely friendly guys at the reception. We reached the historical area of Intramuros on foot in 25-30 minutes. The area is very calm. If you don’t expect anything extraordinary from the room, then don’t hesitate to book! 100% recommend! There is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, ask for a room on the lower floors.
