Car parking service is available if you drive. The hotel provide shuttle service from 8am to 8pm at every 30 minutes to bts station or you can walk 7 minutes to station if your miss it. Nearby has a famous mango sticky rice shop you should try it at sukhumvit soi 53. There is another one called Ning’s Mango stand @Food Street Soi 38 which is opp the famous mango shop. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The location is perfect, right on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, offering lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. Hotel has an outstanding hospitality. Every member of the staff—from the bell attendants and reception team to the housekeeping staff, are warm, courteous, professional, and always eager to help.
We even got a complimentary upgrade from a Deluxe Premium Room to a Suite, which made our stay even more memorable. The suite was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. Breakfast got a huge variety to offer.

The only issue with this hotel was the slow Wi-Fi. If you're staying here, you might need an unlimited data plan.
The entire hotel staff was incredibly proactive and attentive, and they could communicate in basic Chinese. We checked in around 3 or 4 AM, and all our check-in documents were already prepared for us, making the process very efficient. The lobby can help receive food deliveries and packages, and collection is also very meticulous and convenient.
The room space was ample. Although the facilities were visibly a bit dated, they were very well-maintained. There were quite a few mirrors, and when my friend expressed some concern about the room's decor, they promptly helped us adjust it. The bathroom had a slight odor, but it was within an acceptable range.
There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs from the hotel, and the location is very close to both the BTS and the Airport Rail Link, making it very convenient to get to the city center.From€72

The room's ceiling was a bit low, and the interior was quite basic. The bedding wasn't very comfortable (old linens, soft pillows), and there were signs of wear and tear. Ventilation was poor, making clothes prone to smelling after washing.

The pool was quite large, but the service and facilities were rudimentary. In the changing rooms, two sets of staff came in to change towels and empty bins while I was showering, completely disregarding guests wrapped in towels and trying to hide in a corner as they came and went multiple times.
The hotel's most outstanding feature is the lobby, with its modern minimalist style and Japanese garden water feature, surpassing the public areas of most Pullmans. The receptionist accompanies you to the room, pointing out the different facilities and where you are able to find everything!
This hotel is also the tallest in Chinatown, so the sunset view is gorgeous at the very top, where there is a 360 panoramic view in a revolving restaurant and bar.
However, I enjoyed the 17th level bar even more, as they have a nostalgia set when I was there, costing only 450 baht for soup, salad, pizza and 2 pints of beer!
P.S Colouring my hair (roots) was 800baht at the salon downstairs, look for TangMo! She did a wonderful job and even threw in hair treatment at this price! Lots of food nearby, with 7-11 across the street. The markets are open both day and night, so no matter what time you wake, you are able to shop and eat just a street away.From€26

We were given a room on the 5th floor overlooking the pool and gym area. Room was spacious. We booked for 4 nights but didn't sleep well throughout. 1st night the room was freezing cold even though we set the temp to max 30C. 2nd day went to request change of room but the counter staff said to get a technician to service. Then it became a little bit cold when set to 30C. 3rd day the room was like sauna and we called the technician up again. Then it was fine. On the 4th day, the room was freezing cold again. Technician came and service and said everything is back to normal now and shouldn't have any problems but the room still freezing cold after they left. I had previously visited this hotel on an excursion from Pattaya. Now, traveling with my daughter to Koh Samet via Bangkok, we didn't hesitate to book this hotel again. I wanted to show my daughter the revolving observation deck on the 84th floor, the museum, and the large, diverse dinner buffet. We stayed on the 28th floor. The staff was welcoming, and the hotel's floor layout is well-planned. The reception is on the 18th floor. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, our luggage was taken care of, and we were escorted to reception. We were checked in a bit early, at 1 PM, and led to our room. The door opened and… I was surprised. The exterior impression didn't match the interior. The room was spacious, but had low ceilings, old and worn-out furniture. It was a corner room and very dark, with only one small, narrow window (very dirty) and unwashed curtains, overlooking a neighboring hotel wall. You could barely catch a glimpse of the city (we had booked a non-corner room with a city view). The large room had only two small lights, perhaps to hide the room's surprises. The entire room had carpet (which also seemed ancient). The bed linen and towels were clean but visibly old and worn from countless washes; the duvet cover even had pilling, and the towels were far from white – they really should have been replaced. The carpet also extended throughout the hotel corridors, which I believe contributed to the musty smell in both the room and corridors, a smell even the air fresheners (sprayers located everywhere – in corridors and lifts) couldn't mask. During housekeeping, the maid constantly turned on the air conditioning in our room. Initially, we didn't understand why. We went to reception to return a misplaced card (thinking the maid had left it during cleaning), and they told us to leave it on so the air conditioner would run. Then the picture became clear: if you turned off the air conditioning, an unpleasant smell filled the room, and even the sewage smell from the toilet carried through the ventilation. Strangely, there's no ventilation in the toilet, so we had to leave the door open when we left the room and keep the air conditioning on 16°C. This hotel is in dire need of renovation! The room's price doesn't reflect its condition. The hotel has a sports area with mini-golf and a small swimming pool (also from the same outdated facilities). There's also a floor with a spa and fitness center. On the 18th floor, there's a small shop and a few cafes. The food at the hotel, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent. You can dine on the balcony (with glass railings) on the 81st floor – the view is superb. This is the only thing that makes up for the hotel's aging facilities. There's a free transfer to the airport metro line – which is great! I recommend staying on the upper floors for a magnificent view! I only recommend this hotel for short stays.From€45

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the BTS station, about a 10-minute walk from BTS Asok. There's only one convenience store along the way, and only two or three restaurants near the hotel, but lots of massage shops. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the view from my room wasn't great – it was very close to the building opposite, so I often had to keep the curtains drawn. The bathtub design was quite poor (water would splash out and wet the floor). The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes (you need to bring your own). The breakfast buffet had very limited options, with only a noodle station offering a small selection of meat and meatballs. The swimming pool is quite large, not one of those small, instagrammable pools, you can actually swim properly in it. The hotel does have a shuttle, but it only goes to the end of the street. Came here for our anniversary trip, and at this price, it was truly a steal. The service is five-star, but the facilities are four-star at best.
First, the pros:
1) Excellent service. They upgraded our room knowing it was our anniversary and even sent us dessert.
2) Housekeeping was very prompt, even cleaning twice. The first time was for general tidiness, and the second was for detailed touches (like laying out absorbent mats, etc.). My cosmetics were also neatly organized.
3) The room was very spacious, with comfortable bedding and a sofa.
4) They provided aromatherapy candles and other amenities, and someone even knocked on our door every evening to deliver facial mist.
5) High floor with great views.
Now, the cons:
1) Currently undergoing extensive renovation, so the public areas are very small. The hotel lobby entrance requires going through a narrow, cardboard-partitioned corridor, which looks undignified.
2) Due to the renovation, check-in was on the 19th floor, and the waiting time was extremely long. It was the longest I've ever waited to check in. Every time we returned to our room, we had to go to the 19th floor to switch elevators to the guest room area.
3) A bit far from the subway station. Although there's a shuttle service, it's hourly and requires advance booking, so we didn't end up using it.
4) The in-room facilities are indeed old. The showerhead was difficult to use, with low water pressure and couldn't be fixed in place.
5) The TV placement was puzzling, but we didn't watch it anyway.

The swimming pool is thoughtfully divided into a kids' area, a splash zone, and an adult section, catering to all ages. Next to the pool, there's also a kids' playroom with staff on duty to supervise children for extended periods.
Since our stay was during peak season, there were many guests, so we had to queue for breakfast during busy times. Even with the wait, the staff managed the arrangements very efficiently, and the waiting time wasn't too long.
Additionally, the hotel features Prego, an Italian restaurant specializing in pasta, where children can sign up for a fun pizza-making activity.

I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience.
First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience.
In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern.
The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast.
From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on.
The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email.
On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced.
Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors.
While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property.
What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern.
I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse.
The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution.
I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight.
For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip in May and had a good experience, so I re-booked the same hotel for another business trip in July. However, this time the service was exceptionally bad.
When I booked the hotel on July 8th, I specifically requested two separate beds. Five minutes later, I received confirmation from the hotel acknowledging our request. On July 14th at 7 PM, we arrived at the hotel to check in, and they told us there were no twin rooms available and expected two grown men to share a king-sized bed. Isn't that ridiculous?
We immediately called Ctrip to mediate, but the communication was fruitless. The hotel refused to switch us to a twin room, citing full occupancy. They then suggested we add an extra bed (for 1177 THB per night, which is about 240 RMB). They also said that our request was 'subject to availability' and if they had it, they'd provide it, but if not, there was nothing they could do.
What kind of excuse is that? We clearly stated our request when placing the order, and when you confirmed my booking, it implied you understood this requirement. Hotel bookings are made with prior knowledge of requests, not with a last-minute 'subject to availability' clause. If you couldn't provide it, you shouldn't have confirmed my order in the first place.
It was clearly the hotel's mistake, yet they wouldn't switch our room and expected the customer to bear the extra cost for an additional bed due to their error. Since our booking was non-refundable and it was late, we didn't have time to find an alternative hotel.
Ultimately, we ended up paying an additional 4708 THB / 960 RMB (for 4 nights). Ctrip eventually reimbursed us for the extra bed, but the hotel's behavior was completely outrageous and frankly disgusting.From€63

The quickest way from the airport if you are traveling light i.e. Carryon luggage is to take the airport rail to Makkasan Station and walk to Phetchaburi MRT. Evergreen Place is my legendary hotel as I stay with them since 2011 and I always like to return to it. First and most important feature is its location as it is convenient and located not far away from the places you will enjoy either food, shopping, commuting and it will be a great hub for sigtseeing all over the Bangkok. Evergreen place manage to maintain its quality throughout the years, there were some ups and also some down during that time but I see progress now in 2026. I got Deluxe Suite with Kitchen for very convenient price so I did not hesitate to book it through Trip. At that time it was far cheapest and that is why I started to use Trip.com more. Stay was great. Our kid enjoyed on the swimming pool which now has a true little water slide not just some plastic one. Swimming pool is great and it is covered with sunshine throughout the day so you will have a feeling that you are rather somewhere at the sea side and not in the centre of Bangkok. Only the AC hums all around will remind you that you are in the metropola. Evergreen is great as BTS is just near, 7-eleven is below, boat to the old centre is through the bridge. You can use the same boat also to reach Pratunam pier and have the best exchange at SuperRick (either orange or green). Paor restaurant is a short stroll away so take that oportunity to explore this tip and go to that restaurant as it is beyond Michelin stars in taste but price is local. Explore and see it is very famous thing. This is it on short. Next holidays in Bangkok and I will not miss to stay with Evergreen Place again. And yeah I love their Mt. Sapola body wash and shampoos. This is my fourth time staying at Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel. It happened to be my birthday, and the hotel surprised me with decorations and a birthday cake, which was a lovely touch. You can even use it before checking in; just show your reservation to the staff, which is a nice touch. Across the road from ICONSIAM is a street full of massage parlors. The hotel guests are all very polite, always greeting each other in the elevator, much better than in Pattaya. I saw on Doubao that the hotel had self-service laundry, but don't be fooled, it's no longer available. However, if you walk along the road next to ICONSIAM, past the 7-Eleven, there's a local laundry shop that's very cheap, and the clothes come out smelling great. This time I stayed in an executive room, but unfortunately, I was out and about so much that I didn't get to enjoy it. The hotels aircon is very noisy their compressor is just outside the window and it its pretty loud and the wall vibrates. I complained about it they said they will fix it by cleaning but in the next night its still the same! Its so annoying it took me a long time to sleep.
