I absolutely adore this hotel!!! It truly lives up to its reputation as a seasoned five-star establishment. All the staff are incredibly warm and friendly, treating you like family. It's not a fake, professional smile; they genuinely make you feel at home, while still maintaining a polite distance so guests can enjoy their private time. The hotel staff alone made me fall in love with Bangkok! The facilities, though a bit aged, are impeccably maintained. It’s spotless and hygienic; my room was cleaned daily, and the bathtub was scrubbed every day. A subtle, pleasant scent wafts from the hotel onto the main street outside. Being a partner hotel with multiple airlines, you often see cabin crew from various countries checking in. Every morning, the breakfast offerings change, providing a super rich and delicious spread. The saltwater pool on the 6th floor has both shallow and deep sections, and the water is continuously refreshed, making it crystal clear. They even provide various swimming floats and kickboards for guests. The gym is well-equipped, with views overlooking the pool. The small garden on the first floor is perfect for photos; I wish I could live here permanently! I've had the chance to stay at several five-star hotels in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket, and this one is by far the best!! Location-wise: You can take the Airport Rail Link (ARL) directly from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the hotel. The BTS Green Line also takes you straight to the Siam shopping district and Chatuchak Weekend Market. There are two 7-Eleven stores nearby, and across the street is the Factory Coffee shop. The street food stalls by the railway are incredibly delicious! Staying here is truly super convenient!

Chidlom Bangkok|2.5km from city center
I felt like I was being treated differently. Aside from the young lady who checked me in, everyone else, especially another staff member, had a really bad attitude. It seemed like the hotel caters mostly to white guests, judging by its British decor. They only emptied the trash in my room, no actual cleaning. I brought my own towel, but used one of the hotel's to dry my hair. When I asked for a replacement, I got an old, dirty-looking one that clearly showed its age and couldn't be washed clean. The one initially provided when I checked in was brand new and good quality. I even took comparison photos. If they don't want to host Chinese guests, they shouldn't accept bookings. There's no need for this kind of behavior. I would have been fine if all the towels were old and dirty from the start, but not for them to replace a good one with a noticeably worse one.

I've stayed at this hotel many times. The location is incredibly convenient, close to the BTS Skytrain and shops, and right next to the Erawan Shrine. The pool and gym areas are spacious, and there's a great variety of breakfast options. The rooms are well-equipped, quite large, and comfortable. I'd definitely book here again for my next trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel as a couple. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. The facilities were excellent and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. The location was also convenient for traveling around the city. We also tried the massage service at the hotel, and it was amazing. The service was professional, the staff were attentive, and the massage techniques were very comfortable and relaxing after a long day of traveling. We truly enjoyed our experience here and would definitely stay again in the future.

Stayed at W Bangkok recently and had a mixed experience. The room itself was nice and comfortable, with a cozy bed and decent overall cleanliness. It’s still a pleasant space to relax after a long day out in the city. However, there are a few areas that really need improvement. The room fixtures feel quite dated and could definitely use an upgrade as soon as possible—it doesn’t quite match the premium image the hotel is going for. One inconvenience was that Grab deliveries are not sent up to the room. Orders are left at the drop-off point, which can be a hassle, especially at night or after a long day. The pool area was another downside. It was too dark and dimly lit at night, making it difficult to see clearly. I actually hit my toe on the steps, which could have been avoided with better lighting. Overall, a comfortable stay but falls short in terms of maintenance and guest convenience. Would consider staying again only if improvements are made.

This was my first time at any Standard accommodation and it was anything but standard!! I knew it was going to be jazzy and instagrammable and it didn’t disappoint. Every nook, cranny and corner was tastefully decorated or filled with unusual ornaments and furniture. Each room had a different vibe, the tiles and colours are sublime. Check in was fine, recieved a cocktail welcome drink 👌🏻and a voucher to visit the skybar and glass walkway for FREE! This made my day as I was planning to go up anyway. The pool area on the 6th floor is lush, surrounded by vegetation and has a jacuzzi and ample sized pool with immersed sun beds in the water. Plenty of day beds, sun and shade, although it did get busy in the afternoon and we struggled to get two beds together for a while. Breakfast is very good quality too. Lovely choice of fresh made dishes as well as the cold platters and usual fare. Slight awkward moment on checkout when they tried to charge us for something from the minibar ( that we didn’t have) but apart from that, I’m already planning another visit. Sky bar 👌🏻

This hotel is quite large, spread across several buildings: A, B, C, and D. I booked a room with a living area, and it was spacious – the bedroom alone was bigger than rooms in some other hotels. Overall, the room's facilities felt a bit dated, with dark solid wood furniture. The only inconvenience was the power outlets; the three-prong kind didn't work for my laptop charger, though my phone charger was fine. The hotel pool is on the 11th floor, next to a bar. Breakfast was extensive, with a wide variety of dishes. I stayed one night and wasn't even asked for a deposit.

Except for the good check-in service, the location of the hotel is fine if you like tranquil accommodation in a hustle city. It’s convenient to take bus or online hailing services to get to your destination from this hotel. The gym is good enough for cardio training but heavy weighting. A minor thing needed to be improved is you have to be patient to wait room service for a short period of time. All in all, it’s still worth spending to this safe place for a vocation.

It’s my 5th time staying at this hotel, and overall it has always been a good experience. The staff are helpful, and housekeeping is especially friendly and accommodating. However, sometimes they assign lower-floor rooms with poor views. This time, we were first given a room facing the car park, with plants covering the window, which made it feel like staying in a cave. It didn’t seem like it was due to lack of availability, as another room was later given to us. Thankfully, they were kind enough to let us change rooms and moved us to the 7th floor with a slight roadside view, which was much better. The only downside of this hotel is really the room views.

For 1800 rubles a night in the Silom area, this is an excellent hotel. The location is superb, right next to the metro, tons of shops, and in the city center. It's a 15-minute walk to Dusit Central Park and a 20-minute bus ride on the 504 to Pratunam. There's a 7/11 right below the hotel. The room is small but clean. For a solo traveler, it's absolutely perfect for an overnight stay before visiting the Russian Embassy (it's exactly 3 minutes to the embassy). The bedding is fresh and excellent. The room has soap, 3-in-1 gel in a dispenser, a kettle, two mugs, and toilet paper. There's no complimentary water, but you can easily buy some at the 7/11 anytime. I stayed in room 307; it faced the courtyard, so it was bright and quiet. I'm very satisfied and would definitely return if I have the chance.

Every year we visit Bangkok to pay respects at the Erawan Shrine, and this time we decided to try the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, despite its mixed reviews online. I was a bit apprehensive, but honestly, my only thought after staying there was – why didn't I come sooner! 1) Service and Check-in: The front desk staff were very friendly and polite, and check-in was quick. After checking in, they not only gave us a fruit cocktail voucher for the 83rd floor but also an ice cream coupon for the kids, which was a really thoughtful touch. 2) Room Experience: We stayed on the 55th floor in a room with a 1.8-meter king bed and a 1.3-meter single bed. The room was very spacious. Although it's an older hotel, and the facilities show their age, the room was very clean. Besides a refrigerator, it also had a bathtub for the kids to play in, but the best part was undoubtedly the breathtaking, unobstructed Bangkok city view. 3) Breakfast and High-Altitude Experience: During our stay, we had all our meals at the restaurant on the 83rd floor. The food selection was incredibly rich and varied. The restaurant staff were not only very friendly but also quick to replenish dishes. Plus, with our room key, we could access the 360-degree revolving viewpoint on the 84th floor for free, both day and night, offering panoramic views, including the Chao Phraya River in the distance. The view was absolutely stunning. 4) Surroundings and Night Market: Right downstairs from the hotel is Pratunam Market, Bangkok's largest wholesale center, and next door, Platinum Fashion Mall boasts over 2,000 shops. The Pratunam Night Market is also right beside the hotel, offering endless browsing for days. Just a left turn downstairs, you'll find massage parlors, a 7-Eleven, and various restaurants. Central World and Big C are also only about a 15-minute walk away. The only minor drawback is that the street downstairs can be a bit chaotic, a stark contrast to the hotel, but its convenience and lively atmosphere make up for it. I personally love this authentic local vibe. 5) Transportation Convenience: It's a 5-10 minute walk to Ratchaprarop Station on the Airport Rail Link, which takes you directly to Suvarnabhumi Airport in 25 minutes. One stop further to Phaya Thai makes it convenient to transfer to the BTS Green Line. If you want to avoid crowded subways or BTS during peak hours, it’s also easy to hail a taxi using Grab or Bolt right outside. In summary, while Baiyoke Sky Hotel is an older establishment, it has been renovated, and our stay was excellent. Next time we're in Bangkok, we'll definitely be back to stay here again!

We had a nice experience here! Compliments especially to the friendly doorman — he left such an impression on me because he greeted us so enthusiastically every day. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy, the shower hot with good water pressure, and they had actual conditioner. WiFi was fast, and housekeeping was thorough every day and kept replacing our amenities even though we didn’t need it, lol. Plus we had a great view of the amazing city view nearby. So beautiful! Location was beyond excellent! Close to both the Nana BTS, and has a private turnaround area for taxis/Grabs, so take your pick really. This particular combination is kind of rare, actually, since the two systems don’t overlap a lot. We picked this location over Sukhumvit at Nana because it’s closer to all of the places. There is also a small night market nearby, both of the food and the flesh variety, though the latter is easily avoidable if you wish (it’s not seedy tho). To be honest, the night market felt really touristy and the options were quite limited. There were also a loooot of malls and massage places in the vicinity, of all varieties and price points.

1. Excellent, truly exceptional. With a limited number of rooms, it's not crowded and wonderfully quiet. 2. We received a lovely welcome gift: a fresh floral bracelet (I enjoyed the jasmine scent throughout the day!). The room also had a welcome fruit platter, a self-service incense burner, and essential oils. 3. The pool is small and located at a moderate height, offering some city views, but nothing spectacular. It's a small space, but functional enough for what it is. 4. Dinner was divine! We ate at the rooftop bar. We ordered pork ribs and chicken, totaling 6000 Thai Baht. The ribs were a generous portion, more than we could finish. The service was impeccable; we had one-on-one attention throughout, with attentive serving and explanations. At sunset, they even offered to take photos for us. 5. Breakfast was served on the 60th floor. The dining area is small, the views are average, and the variety of dishes is limited, but the service is good. I highly recommend ordering the iced Thai milk tea from the server. In summary: This is an older luxury hotel that is now accessible to the average person. Go ahead and book; you won't be disappointed.

Addressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

A very good hotel. Convenient location. The pool on the 8th floor is small but clean. The gym is good. Breakfasts are wonderful and varied. There are two coffee machines for coffee. We stayed on the 10th floor. The room was small, but had everything we needed: disposable toothbrushes, slippers, shower gel and shampoo, a tea and coffee set, a fridge, and a safe. The bed was comfortable, and the linen was clean. I recommend it!

Here is the text with the em dash removed from the title: **Another wonderful stay: Consistency at its best!** I ended up extending my time here for another 2 nights, and I am so glad I did. Just like my previous experience, the service across the board was absolutely outstanding. From the front door to reception, housekeeping, and the breakfast team, everyone continues to go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The consistency in their excellent service makes this hotel a top choice. Highly recommended and will definitely keep coming back!

I enjoyed my stay at S15. The staff were friendly and supportive. The hotel is close to BTS Asok, Terminal 21, a night market and Korea town (which has some nice restaurants). During my stay I also enjoyed a great massage at the hotel. The only thing I would ask to improve is the room service. You receive information about food available for order to your room but when I called to order a snack they only had salad available which was unfortunate.

A great service apartment kind of hotel that comes with a small kitchenette and washer. Very clean, well-kept and staff are friendly and welcoming. Facilities are all in excellent condition. I really enjoyed my stay here. Tutuk available on-demand to take you to the Thong Lo BTS. Location wise, it's on a really busy and chaotic part of central bangkok so if you are looking for that kinda vibe, it's fine. The room seems perfectly sound-proof though. I was on a high floor and hardly heard anything. My only big complaint is that the breakfast quality and arrangement is rather poor in my opinion - for both the continental and Asian options. By the second day, I decided to take away some of the fruits and coffee back to my room, ordered grab in for breakfast instead. Alternatively there are plenty of other breakfast options in the area to explore. The breakfast came free for me, so I guessed I can't rant too much but if I had paid for it I wouldn't have liked it. Hopefully management can review the breakfast experience. Otherwise, all good and a great hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at SILQ Hotel and would highly recommend it. The room was incredibly spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. One detail I loved was the scent; the room smelled amazing every time I returned from the heat outside—it felt like a true sanctuary. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond, helping us with our needs and even coordinating with our Grab drivers to ensure everything went smoothly. The food on-site was also delicious! The only minor thing to note is that it isn’t right next to the BTS (about a 7-10 minute walk), but the quality of the stay makes that walk totally worth it. Definitely a 5-star experience!

The swimming pool was fantastic with a beautiful view and great atmosphere. The onsen here is really good with many different pools to soak in; we absolutely loved it. This is our second time here, and we've never been disappointed choosing this place. The game room area is fantastic, and the kids loved it. I really liked this hotel—the layout and the area were great because it’s a quiet, local neighborhood, not too congested, but still just a 3-minute walk to the BTS. There’s a Lotus supermarket nearby with lots of local food options. I loved the water refill station, and the staff were really nice. The only downside was the mold in the bathroom which is something they should really address , since mold can be a health concern also the pool area could benefit from a sign asking guests to wear swimwear and maintain hygienic. Overall, thought it was a lovely stay.”, I would love to come back if these small issues are addressed .

They thoughtfully prepared a surprise setup in the room as requested, which was a wonderful touch and made the celebration even more memorable. The room was spacious and comfortable. TGreat Location, Good Value, and a Nice Pool I recently stayed at Furama Silom Bangkok and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s biggest strengths are its excellent location, reasonable pricing, and rooftop pool with fantastic city views. The property is conveniently located in the Silom area, making it easy to access restaurants, street food, shopping, public transportation, and nightlife. For travelers looking for a central base in Bangkok without spending too much, it offers very good value for money. The rooftop pool was one of the highlights of my stay. It provides a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views of the Bangkok skyline, especially during sunset. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering good value for the price paid. The staff were generally polite and helpful when needed, although the service was fairly standard rather than exceptional. Check-in and daily interactions were smooth, but there was nothing particularly memorable about the service experience. That said, the hotel would benefit from some renovations and maintenance updates. Certain areas of the property appear dated, and some room facilities could be improved to meet modern expectations. While everything was functional, refreshing the interiors would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, Furama Silom remains a solid choice for travelers seeking a well-located hotel with good facilities at a fair price. With some improvements and modernization, it could be an even better place to stay in Bangkok.

Located next to Pratunam Market. The shopping mall is on the ground floor, but the reception is on the 9th floor, which is inconvenient. Taxis have to take a long detour to reach the hotel, and even local Grab drivers seemed hesitant when driving in. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, but it does have a small pond and sun loungers for sunbathing. The hotel is a bit dated, and most guests are Indian. Breakfast is mediocre, with limited choices and food that isn't hot enough. Shockingly, the coffee machine doesn't offer espresso and isn't fresh ground. The drinks are quite bland, and some are downright unpalatable. The only positives were the excellent air conditioning and good water pressure in the shower. The room was okay, but the amenities felt a bit old. The lobby, however, was absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. The location is very convenient, with lots of shopping malls nearby. My only dissatisfaction was that I left a tip for the housekeeping staff to fold towel animals, but when I returned, the tip was gone, and no towel animals were folded for us. I was extremely, extremely disappointed! For those planning to visit the Erawan Shrine, I highly recommend staying here. Though, there are some newly built hotels nearby that offer better prices. Still, I'd suggest coming here for afternoon tea; the lobby on the first floor is just too stunning, and I took so many photos. It would be even better if the room amenities could be upgraded, for example, changing the hairdryer to a Dyson and the toilet to a washlet, which would greatly enhance the experience.

Definitely one of the best hotels to stay in Bangkok! This is my second stay here, with my previous visit less than 10 months ago, and it did not disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised to find cute origami creations and a handwritten welcome card waiting for us in the room. It was a thoughtful gesture that made us feel valued as returning guests. The biggest selling point is the location — the hotel sits directly above CentralWorld, making shopping, dining, and getting around Bangkok incredibly convenient. While the room rates may be on the higher side, the convenience easily justifies the price. The breakfast spread is excellent with a good variety of choices. I was also impressed by the TV’s Wi-Fi connectivity — YouTube streamed smoothly without any lag. One unique feature I loved was the bathroom speaker system. Being able to play my favourite songs while soaking in the bathtub made the stay even more enjoyable. Do note: the hotel collects a deposit of THB 2,000 per night. On a positive note, I was granted both an early check-in and a complimentary one-hour late check-out, which was greatly appreciated. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone considering this hotel. Book without hesitation! If you’re travelling on a budget, consider staying for at least one night and opting for the breakfast package. I stayed at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park during Chinese New Year, and overall, it exceeded my expectations. Here's my honest review: First, the pros: The hotel's decor is incredibly grand and luxurious. The lobby is spacious and bright, with high ceilings that add to the opulent feel. The whole environment is very impressive and perfect for photos. The breakfast selection is truly amazing! From Thai flavors to Chinese, Japanese, and Western options, there are so many stations, and the food is delicious. It definitely sets you up for an energetic day. The service also deserves praise; both the front desk and other staff members were incredibly warm and friendly. You could tell they really tried their best to meet guests' needs, and their attitude was excellent. Some minor drawbacks (objective observations): Since it was the Chinese New Year holiday, there was a huge crowd, which meant queuing for breakfast every morning. This definitely detracted from the experience. Also, due to the high volume of guests, the speed at which food was replenished and dishes were cleared in the restaurant sometimes couldn't keep up. You could see the staff were extremely busy, but the situation still felt a bit chaotic. In summary: The hotel's facilities and service are top-notch, and the staff did their absolute best. I'd suggest the hotel consider optimizing crowd management during peak seasons (e.g., opening more dining areas or extending breakfast hours) to further improve the guest experience. I would definitely consider staying here again!

However, if you want a panoramic view from your room, don't accept rooms opposite the elevator – these aren't pictured on the website. Tips for Filipino Travelers in Bangkok

Prepare temple-friendly clothes: Bring clothes that cover your shoulders and knees, especially when visiting the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun.

Bring cash in Thai baht: Many markets, street food stalls, and small shops prefer cash. Keep small bills for snacks, boat rides, and local shopping.

Use BTS and MRT when possible: Bangkok traffic can be heavy, so trains are usually faster for malls, markets, and city areas.

Book a hotel near a train station: If it is your first time in Bangkok, stay near BTS or MRT stations like Siam, Asok, Silom, or Sukhumvit for easier travel.

Try street food carefully: Bangkok is famous for street food, but choose busy stalls with fresh food. Bring water and avoid eating too much spicy food if you are not used to it.

Use Grab for late-night rides: Grab is useful when going back to your hotel at night, especially after visiting Chinatown, Asiatique, or night markets.

Check the weather before going out: Bangkok can be very hot or rainy. Bring an umbrella, sunscreen, and a small towel for outdoor trips.

Plan shopping space in your luggage: Bangkok is great for shopping, especially at Chatuchak Weekend Market, Platinum Fashion Mall, and ICONSIAM.

Book tickets early: For popular attractions like Mahanakhon SkyWalk, dinner cruises, and shows, book in advance to avoid last-minute stress.

Keep your passport copy: Bring a copy or photo of your passport when going around Bangkok, but keep your original passport safely at the hotel.
