Our family of 4 stayed at Huong Giang Hotel Resort for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were made to feel like long lost relatives the moment we stepped out of the taxi. We were greeted with incredible warmth and smiles. Mr Loi in particular was so friendly and made us feel at home immediately, especially our two sons. The buffet breakfast was amazing and catered to all our tastes and preferences. Our children were in food heaven😊! Our hot water wasn't working at some stage, and when we told reception, there was someone there to fix it within seconds, and they solved the problem immediately. Mr Loi looked after us incredibly well, and our boys loved him. He greeted them with a huge smile and a high five everytime he saw them, always taking an interest in what they were doing, asking how they were. I would not hesitate to stay at Huong Giang again, incredible value for money, warm, helpful and friendly staff, and perfect location with serene quiet Perfume River on one side, and the lively hustle and bustle on the other. Quiet, comfortable old fashioned hotel, with carpeted corridors, large rooms, very comfortable twin beds that were more like doubles and a lovely breakfast. We had four nights here, slept well, 20 mins walk to town along a beautiful riverside walk, lovely coffee shops and local cafes in the area - yet far enough out of town to be far from the noise and late night revellers. It is possible to cycle to the Imperial City and the hotel offer free bikes upon request. Most interesting place and we would recommend as a no frills , great value , quiet hotel with a feel of a by gone era ....the pool was lovely for a dip but smaller in reality than the photos suggest! A great city break hotel overall with bathrobes, flipflops, bathroom amenities,safe and good range of TV channels, including movies provided. It had everything we needed and more!

The royal-style architecture transported us to another era, while the modern amenities ensured our comfort. The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious, offering stunning views of the city. We appreciated the delicious breakfast spread each morning, which fueled our adventures to nearby historical and cultural sights. The friendly staff provided top-notch service, making our stay both memorable and enjoyable.

This hotel has been a life saver to us. It is the second time we stay there and we honestly enjoy going back. The best balance out there as regards price-amenities. Its location is great, not only is it in Hue which we use like a stop over place while travelling between Da Nang and other places in Vietnam, but it is also situated on the river bank. In the morning you can have your breakfast while watching the boats sail out from the banks of the river next to the hotel. Highly recommended. We will be going back.

The environment is good and the price is affordable. It's very close to the scenic spot. It's close to the Imperial City. You can see the Hong Kong River. It's worth a visit. Value-for-money hotel in Hue Service: Very good 👍 The staff is very enthusiastic and you will win if you are motivated. Come back next time

Everything was good until we check out. The old security man at night shift wasnt as friendly as old man in the morning. But anw good location made we enjoyed this trip.

Nice part of town and close walking distance to many places such as walking street, vincom, river and much more. A bit of history if you look really close and experience something unique. Breakfast was ok and rooms are a bit dated but that's the charm of the hotel. Gym could be upgraded as only one treadmill that didn't work and one bike that wasn't plugged in. Universal exercise machine must have been as old as the hotel but all in all good value for money.

Nice hotel, great pool. In a good location near the river and the lovely river park. Not the best breakfast, though, but yhe roof top dining room is great. Do not use the massage services here. I went with two other friends and all three of us thought it was terrible. And the lady was rude when I didn't tip her 20% for a bad massage. Go to Sosono spa instead

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The room was clean, food was great, and the pool arena absolutely stunning. The people working in the reception was incredibly helpful with everything from giving recommendations to booking taxi. The hotel is adorned with beautiful ceramic flowers in every floor that I fell in love with. I ended up buying multiple flowers to take home. The staff helped me pick out the flowers I wanted to buy, and devoted much time and energy packing each single flower in paper, ensuring I was able to bring it in my luggage. We booked a taxi from Hue to Hoi an, and the receptionist helped us planning the taxi route so we got to see the Lap an Lagoon and Hai Van Pass. We also had a 40 minute stop on the way eating lunch at Lap an Lagoon. We really recommend doing this!

We booked the street view room but we were given a room at the lowest floor with view of wall of other buildings. The front desk manager kept on saying the hotel is fully booked with no other rooms available. But our friends booked through hotel directly were given a room at higher floor with nice view. Very disappointed of booking through Trip.com.

A number of reviews have commented on the location of this resort. It is located beside the river, about 5km from Hue. At the time of our visit (late April 2024) there was road work on the last couple of km’s of the road before the resort. We were told this should be finished within the next few months. However we had drivers pick us up and drop us off without incident. We also saw other guests using taxis, and we had no problems getting Grab cars to collect us and take us back (for a total cost of less than US$10 for the 2 trips). The shuttle referred to on the hotel website is not currently operating, but we did not see access as an issue. As an upside of the location it was very peaceful at night (our previous stop had been at Hoi An where the river resort we stayed at in the centre had been quite noisy at night.) Some comments have also been made on the gardens being over grown and the resort being run down. We did not see it this way. The gardens are not formal – they include fruit trees which are being farmed for their fruit – but they were being actively maintained. The pool is very nice. (See photos) The room was comfortable and clean and tidy with excellent air conditioning. The bed was very hard and some more storage space in the room would be good. The staff were all friendly and very eager to help with things like organising transport and suggesting places for meals. The resort was not very busy at the time of our stay. As a result, while they had the breakfast buffet operating on our first morning (a weekend), on week days the routine was to collect a form from reception to select your breakfast and time, and drop it back to reception the night before – it was then served in the restaurant at the time chosen. This seemed to work well. We ate in the restaurant the first night, and the food was good, though we were the only people in the room. Most guests seem to opt to get transport into Hue-proper for dinner, where there are lots of great options for a meal. All in all a very pleasant, comfortable and quiet stay.

A great hotel with your own little lodge, really close to the parfume river. The swimming pool was open 24 hours. Great food in the restaurant and a nice staff. You could grab a free bike and ride to the market and maybe the centre of Hue. Overall: a great place to stay with nice staff and near the imperial city

Best location in town, right next to the former imperial palace! The hotel is nice, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good too. Started in a premium room, it was a spacious room, but no windows looking outside. The smaller rooms seem to have windows though, some of them even have balconies. All in all, we had a great time. Hotel staff helped with arranging drivers too for excursions. Two thumbs up 👍👍
