Firstly the hotel is located directly in front of a tram which was very convenient for moving around locally in town, the rooms are well maintained and very nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing, would recommend adding it to your reservation as food in Amsterdam is quite expensive. We were checked in by Youssef, who was so nice, helpful and accommodating to my friends and I. Overall a wonderful experience and great customer service
A romantic seaside hotel with a great sense of design and excellent service. The river view outside the window at night is as beautiful as Manhattan Island!
This was about the only hotel within the area proximity I wanted that wasn’t costing an arm and a leg and had a lot of positive feedback. It was pretty helpful that a free shuttle was provided so it made the transition from the central station to the hotel much easier. I am not sure how guests of certain races are treated at NH Amsterdam but upon arrival at the reception area the person attending to us was trembling for dear life. I guess perhaps being non-Caucasian might posses a threat or maybe it was her first day working there. I really can’t be certain, but it really isn’t a good look if the receptionist can’t get her job done without shaking like a leaf when handing the paper to sign, when taking ones credit card, when handing the keys etc. The room was pretty comfortable, we were given one with a balcony on the second floor which was nice because the view was pretty amazing. Overall the room was clean but a little more attention can be paid to the bathroom. The hair dryer cord was very dusty. It is also pretty difficult to understand the heating system at the hotel. We only figured it out the last night being there, so our room was cold for the majority of our stay. Considering it is winter time, it would be nice if the housekeeper after cleaning, would keep the room warm and not have the ac on cold. We would always returning to a freezing room. The location was by far my favourite as it was only an 11 minutes walk to a train station. Getting buses to get around was not a problem and there was the added bonus of the shuttle. However, we getup and out pretty early and the shuttle doesn’t commence till 9am. The stay was a pleasant one and I would probably stay there again, as the negatives we encountered can be fixed I am sure.
The hotel apartment was satisfactory during the trip to four European countries. The decoration was elegant, clean and tidy. The hotel location seemed remote but was actually in a residential area, close to the main road. The entrance was not big. A little dark. It seemed to be 395 from the airport. Anyway, it was 3-something. Because I chose to take a taxi when I went to the hotel for the first time, I regretted it when I saw the bus. It was just a few blocks away from the hotel entrance. There was a gas station opposite. You can go there directly on Google Map. It takes no more than ten minutes to take the bus from the entrance to the city center. 3-something can get you there. However, the 3-day GVB card cannot be used. It is not from the same company.
Stayed here for 8 days. The hotel is located in the center of the old town where must-see attractions are concentrated. It has convenient transportation and many surrounding bus routes. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. I booked a loft room with a kitchen. The room is large and has a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and other kitchen appliances. It is as convenient as living at home. The disadvantage is that the bedroom is upstairs and you have to climb stairs several times a day. The hotel room can only be booked for more than seven nights, so after 10 days, I went back to Amsterdam and stayed for four days and stayed in other hotels.

The hotel is right in front of the Central Station, and I was really happy with the room view:) The breakfast had various menus, and the online check-out was convenient. I would like to re-book again in my next visit to Amsterdam!
Last time I did not like the room I got.
When I checked in this time I said I was disappointed with the room a couple of
months ago. Then this time
I received a lovely room on the 2nd floor because I told them I wanted a room as low as possible.
All the staff were very friendly and helpfull.
The situation of the hotel for me is excellent and the best thing they have a garage.
The temperature in the rooms could have been warmer. During summer the air-conditioner could not be shut down.

They do not accept cash. If you are a foreigner traveller and your cards do not work at the hotel (they didn't for me), you will have issues.
The bed and room was comfortable. No water bottles, no small fridge. But the decor is superb in this tiny boutique hotel. The location is great.

Right next to the subway station, there are trams 4 and 14. We came out of the airport to take the train to the Central Station, and then changed to No. 4 to the hotel. The streets and roads in Amsterdam are not all asphalt roads, many of which are small bricks and have a lot of luggage. You have to choose the side of the subway station, otherwise you will walk too hard. Old hotel, very clean, very warm reception. No breakfast choice. If you are booking a car, please pay attention to the fact that taxis, etc. cannot reach the entrance of the hotel, or you must cross the square, or be on the side of the road behind you.
Everything is ok, the staffs are very friendly and helpful, the location is close to the public transport link.enjoing the peace and quiet life.thanks.

STEIGENBERGER AIRPORT HOTEL AMSTERDAM SO CLEAN AND COMFY
Description
Feel so happy when I step in to the room, after fly long distance from Indonesia. The check in process is so fast, she looks very professional in her job. I forgot her name, so sorry, because I am so tried.
The room is so clean, bight and room size is great. I love the bedsheets so clean, white and crispy.
I didn't take breakfast so I can't tell. I definitely will be back to Steigenberger Airport Hotel. I used to stay in other hotel for so many years, until they make me so disappointed on my last stay 2023. And when I found this hotel and check in, hmm I feel so stupid why I was so loyal to previous hotel, I should change sooner.
Now I am happy and will be their customer, highly recommend!!!! seeing is believing, watch my youtube channel for your better view perspective.

IIka_EllyThere are way better hotels around the airport.
We were a family of 3 traveling, and so we booked a room for 3. When we arrived in the room, the sofa bed was out, but there were no sheets in it. We called reception to get sheets. A lady came and made the bed. But only when she had left we realized she hadn't put a cover in the bed. We called again and somehow came with a cover.
When it was time to have a shower, there were only 2 towels (and by the way, no small towels at all). For a third time, we had to call, and this time, ask them for a towel.
The bathroom was pretty old and rundown. There was a big carack on the floor, painting coming off in the shower and mold stains.
Apart from that, the room and bathroom were spacious.
The next day, we left in the morning and came back at 5 pm. The room had still not been cleaned, so we called reception to get it done. Straight after that, we left. When we came back later, someone had been there to clean. There were clean towels, but they had also left the dirty ones. What's more, they hadn't cleaned the bathroom floor.
Dogs are welcome, so that's a big plus. And there's a beautiful grassy area with a pond, just beside the hotel. Perfect for walking them.
Parking is available but it's rather expensive.
We wanted to do a late check-out in the afternoon, as we had two dogs and a boy with us. It would have been much easier for them to stay in the hotel while we were doing our business in Amsterdam until 4 pm.
So we called around midnight and asked reception if it would be possible to check out at that time, at an extra cost. She said it depends if the hotel is fully booked, in which case we can't and that we have to call back at 7.30am.
So at 7.30, we called and were told that they are fully booked so impossible to get a late check-out. Which means that between midnight and 7.30 in the morning, they got fully booked... I suppose it's possible, but it felt more like they were not willing to help.
The boy and the dogs spent their day waiting for us in a café.
I wouldn't go back to this hotel as we had a bad experience. We expected better from Radisson.

GGuest UserWe had a comfortable one-night stay before an early morning flight out of Schiphol. It's only a 2 minute walk from the bus station and an under 15 minute ride by bus (they come pretty regularly, even at 6 AM) over to the airport. The hotel design has an environmental/animal focus, and it was pretty cool. It also seemed pretty newly renovated too. But would not recommend staying here if you're making the commute into the city center every day - takes quite a while and the trains aren't cheap.
AAgent SpectreBest hotel experience. Convenient location, 30 mins from airport by train, and 10 mins from the city centre. Nice and polite staff. New, clean and spacious room. Super comfy beds and pillows. Perfect working environment for digital nomads. Strong and stable WiFi. Convenient store and food court nearby. Perfect.
GGuest UserVery good customer service at the reception. I arrived early and was given a room to check in at noon. The room was clean, comfortable, and I like the fresh fragrance throughout the hotel. Clean bedding, shelves and wardrobes. Soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and shower gel were provided and the shower was easy to use with adjustable water temperature and power. There were a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee (Nespresso) and a kettle in each room. There are elevators to various levels, including the lower ground level where the hotel restaurant can be found. Breakfast is available till 12noon at an additional charge. I had breakfast at Bagel & Beans just opposite the hotel, which opens at 8am each morning. The location is convenient, just 15mins walk from Amsterdam Centraal train station, well connected to ferries, buses and trams. The blue and white ferries cross River IJ and are free of charge. Thanks to Room Mate Aitana, I had a very enjoyable stay with my family.
TThomas MunthaliI was booked at Moxy Amsterdam Schiphol Airport after the first hotel l booked could not find my booking though l had paid and had the confirmation. However, Trip.com helped and booked me at Moxy Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. And it turned out as the better hotel and better room as service than my previous hotel. For sure when l am around Schiphol airport, l will definitely book again Moxy Hotel through Trip.com.
The roam was clean, the lighting was great and the room was generally welcoming and also clean.
GGuest UserThe revolving doors were moving at a very high speed. There were no porters to help. The floor to the entrance is uneven, with protruding metal strips that make it hard to drag the bags with wheels smoothly. My bag was stuck in the metal strip, and the high-speed revolving door hit my suitcase and pushed it, causing me to fall on my back and hit my head on the street. No one from the hotel assisted. The strangers on the street helped me get up, and take me inside the hotel. The hotel staff was uncooperative and did not get me a medical doctor because it was 10minutes beyond 6:00 PM in the evening. That is the worst experience I have ever had a hotel.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is 7-10 minutes from the airport by free shuttle, which departs at the airport exit from desks A 9-13 every half hour. from the hotel every half hour, too. No reservations are required. We asked for a quiet room, and they gave us a very quiet room, and we slept great: we didn't hear any planes or other noises. Free tea and coffee without restrictions (kettle and coffee machine in the room). Breakfast is acceptable, but nothing more (dishes may be poorly washed, scrambled eggs run out quickly, the coffee machine breaks down all the time...).
SStephanie 2000Come during Christmas 2024. Female receptionist was polite. Male receptionists were so so. Generally is good. This hotel is just walkable to Amsterdam central. Very good location. Just no facilities . Generally is ok.
