The room was bigger than expected, with super comfortable beds (a bit smaller in size but great sleep quality). Sound insulation was excellent, so the room was quiet and relaxing. Check-in was smooth and there were always staff around to help; same for check-out and luggage storage, which made everything very convenient.
The bathroom was spacious and clean, though I personally don’t like the half-glass shower door design, as it tends to make the outside shower we, but otherwise it was great. Cleaning was spotless and done daily.
We didn’t include breakfast at first but decided to try it later, it was definitely worth the €22.50 per person. There were plenty of choices, and the smoked salmon, olives, and cheese section were especially nice. Honestly, breakfast cafés in Amsterdam cost about the same or more, so having a full buffet here felt like good value.
There isn’t much going on immediately around the hotel, but it’s right next to a metro station that takes you to the central area in just a few minutes. A great option if you prefer to stay somewhere quieter yet well connected.
The hotel is situated right next to the North Station, which handles metro services but not trains. It's just two metro stops away from the Central Station. Exiting the station, a quick right turn and a short walk lead you straight there, making transportation incredibly convenient. The surrounding area is quite vibrant, featuring shops, restaurants, and two supermarkets (Lidl and Jumbo) close by.
Inside, the hotel is well-maintained, clean, and tidy. Both the room and bathroom were adequately spacious. Despite the windows not opening, the hotel offers excellent ventilation.
The front desk staff were all wonderful and very friendly.

I stayed for 2 nights at the Best Western – Amsterdam Airport Hotel.
Positives:
The shuttle bus to and from the airport was punctual and very convenient.
The reception clerk was polite, professional, and made the check-in process smooth.
The bed was very comfortable.
The hotel is located near a bus stop, making it easy to explore the city by public transport.
There’s a McDonald’s right next door for affordable late-night snacks.
Negatives:
I had the ”Do Not Disturb” sign on my door when I left my room around 11 a.m., but noticed it had been removed. I found it on a cleaning cart and put it back. I also informed the cleaning staff directly that I did not want my room cleaned, and they acknowledged my request. However, when I returned at 2 p.m., I discovered someone had entered the room—not to clean, but to leave a card stating it had been cleaned by “Marcus.” While nothing appeared disturbed, this disregard for my clear request felt like an invasion of privacy and was both disappointing and unnecessary.
Additionally, I did not sleep well during either night of my stay. There was frequent noise from drunk guests in the hallways past midnight, and on both mornings, I was woken as early as 6:30 a.m. by loud door banging, as if someone was trying to wake up a heavy sleeper. While I understand that this is not entirely the hotel’s fault, it made the stay unpleasant and exhausting.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I would choose this hotel again when transiting through Amsterdam.
Located in a quiet place, away from the city. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. It has a full kitchen with stove and oven, very convenient for self cooking. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from Albert Heijn and it's close to the tram stop.
After checking out, we left our luggage at the reception and went for a walk before coming back. The reception was really helpful and it was an easy process.

One of the best hotels we booked recently.
The room was clean and very spacious. You can only use the lift by using your access card. This adds extra safety.
You can keep your luggage in their secure storage room which is a bonus if you reach early or your flight is late at night after your check out.
One thing to note is the Amsterdam city pass won’t work to nearby station. So you may have to explore other options or you a day ticket.
Overall it was a perfect place and no complaints.
i had just had a chopper flight then a 2 hour drive, to be told to leave my bags at reception as check in was 2pm i arrived at 13.52 which i thought was bad customer services, she also didn't make eye contact as she spoke to me whilst looking at her mobile phone, that was welded to her hand.
Apart from that i enjoyed my stay.
PS. Don't let them book a taxi for you as the fare was absolutely obscene! it cost me £64.00 for an 9 minute drive to airport in no traffic.

Great hotel, good location, which is quite near airport and have shuttle between airport and hotel.
Can self-check in, very convenient.
Ice bucket and cube provided, very Netherland.
Very satisfied with everything. You can take tram No. 5 or No. 25 to the city center, and No. 25 tram to the South Station. It's a pretty good hotel I've stayed in in Amsterdam. You can cook and the price is reasonable.
I will still consider staying here next time.
The photo provided by the hotel is accurate. The only thing to complain about is that the housekeeping really cannot make it! They didn't change the bedsheet and duvet throughout our stay! How do we know? We purposely leave a patch at a corner and to our surprise that patch was there throughout. I hope they can improve this otherwise this is a superb hotel with good location and modern room.

SshonguyGreat location and close to public transportation. Had a nice room with a view. Although check in could have been a bit quicker, otherwise great place to stay and good value

Hotel is next to the Dam Square..also walking distance to red light street..room is small overall is clean..only the toilet..a bit difficult to flush away.. reception is doing a great job..I feel warm and welcome..they also give me the perfect recommendation..my bad that I didn't ask the name of the gentleman..he is being helpful indeed.
腰腰腎A very clean hotel, staff are very nice and friendly. Location is another highlight, located right next to Overamstel station, very convenient if you want to go some other cities or Amsterdam Central as you can always go to Amstel station

AAnnaFhaWe were a bit irritated during check in when we arrived to the hotel after a long flight from Thailand and an hour after check-in time to be told the room wasn't ready. The staff did apologize and said it was a busy period but we felt like it wasn't helpful when they said it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. They didn't tell us at all and we were waiting right there in the lobby so we had to walk up and ask again if it was ready. The staff we talked to initially didnt put in a note or anything so we had to explain the situation again and we wasn't offered any compensation.. a free drink or something while waiting would have been helpful. However, once we were in the room, we had to say it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The body wash smells good and the body lotion available came in handy. The water pressure, the rain water, everything was nice. The room's big smart TV was great, and the bed was huge. We didn't like the fact that the AC wasn't working as well as we wanted and with the sun coming in, it can get a bit hot but overall it was ok during the night. We also liked the 10% discount deal with the bicycle rental shop opposite from the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location, though, out of the city centre where all the canals are, are still somewhat walkable and was less hectic and touristy. We wished there was a nearer supermarket where we can grab some snacks or drinks but at least there was a bagel cafe right opposite. The check out was fast and the male staff was nice to ask if we wanted to leave our bags and we wanted water. So that gave us better experience than the check in for sure.
KKelvin Wi enjoyed staying here - it was a bit complicated getting here by bus as there are works going on at the schiphol bus terminal - so you will need to logic your way to the right bus stop (google maps does not factor this in, so you will need to find temporary maps from schiphol along the bus stops).
when you get to the hotel it is not obvious to view from the bus station either, so again you will need to figure out how to head to the moxy, but the hotel itself from the inside is very modern and fresh looking, everything is clean, the rooms feel very up to date and the bathrooms look bright and newly fitted which is always much preferred to old and worn. there is a lot of space to sit, read, and plan your trip on the ground floor with multiple sofas and desks. once you figure out the bus it is very easy to head back to schiphol airport or to town center from the hotel.
the only thing is there is no tea or coffee station in-room, nor water, so everytime you want to boil water for tea or coffee, or even grab a drinking cup, you would have to go to the lobby and sometimes that isn’t practical as that’s also where other hotel guests are and the staff are stationed, and you just want some privacy. maybe they could put water bottles in room daily? or a water kettle?
it’s a great hotel for if you are travelling into amsterdam for a short trip and have tight schedules to the airport, such as late night or early morning flights, and you are a younger solo traveller, who wants the privacy of their own room which is a step up from a nice hostel, and doesn’t mind figuring things out a bit as part of the journey
