4-Star Hotels in Noord-Holland, Netherlands

We really enjoyed our stay at Tribe Amsterdam City. The staff were lovely and welcoming - check in was super-quick as half of it was done via a self-check-in. Then the lady said 'enjoy your stay' and I accidentally said 'you too!' We were staying on the eighth floor, which was a bit scary for me because I don't like to be high up, but it was all fine and I felt very safe. The lifts were very smooth and super-fast and the room was stylish and modern. The bathroom included a huge shower perfect for sexy time! And several quite luxe bottles of shampoo, conditioner and hand/body wash. There were two free bottles of water for us in the fridge, though these weren't replenished on our second day. Housekeeping was good though and made the room look fresh and new. There were ample coffee-making facilities. On our second night, we went downstairs to the bar and got two free drinks for signing up to the ALL Accor Hotels program. All in all we had a great stay and would highly recommend the hotel. It's a bit out of the way - very close to Amsterdam Noord station, though there's not really much there so you might be better off staying in Amsterdam Centraal if you want more action. But if you're looking for a pleasant, relaxing and quiet stay where you can enjoy yourselves as a couple, this is the place for you.

Was good location for last minute trip to Amsterdam, 2 stops on the train from Schiphol airport, opposite Sloterdijk station that had trams, buses and trains so was able to tour the city easily. Was surprised by the city tax, one of the highest city taxes I’ve come across -  €38 for the weekend but that’s not the hotels fault. I was also surprised by the breakfast spread, the variety and the quality so good  way to start the day (someone gave my room number to get a free breakfast but there wasn’t a problem). Cheers!

Lovely hotel in a good location around 6 minute walk to the nearest station which goes directly into central Amsterdam. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. We arrived after a long 13h travel day and were unable to get into our room due to a faulty lock. We went down to tell staff and were told there’s nothing wrong and try again, we made 3 trips up and down the 10th floor because they kept telling us we’re not doing it right. After the 4th visit Someone finally came up and had to bring a toolbox to change the battery on the door (they were unable to do it). We then were instructed to wait for someone else to come up which took another 10 minutes. Eventually we were let in and delayed by 45 minutes which then meant we needed to rearrange our evening plans which we had booked in advance of our trip. Overall the staff were not very helpful or sympathetic towards our arrival which was off-putting. The hotel itself is nice and is clean too.

Actually, I will talk about the negatives before the positives; When we arrived, I was shocked by the poor service there. First, they did not have cash when I arrived at the hotel with a taxi driver and I did not have the fare (change), so I had to spend fifty euros, but I was surprised that they did not have any exchange cash at hotel . Second, they did not have an assistant to carry the bags, so the bags were many and large, and I could not carry them alone, while I am a female and I cannot carry them. Third, they wanted us to stay on the third floor overlooking another building, but we refused because we wanted a higher floor. Their excuse was that the hotel was fully booked by residents and there were no rooms on the seventh or sixth floor. Also the cover sheet of bed had not changed since we had arrived. (Also there is something important to mention at last day we could not find a bolt or uber because maybe the location was a little bit far). But we had to speak to the hotel manager, who fixed all problems, he is a young East Asian man. Honestly, he was a good and understanding person, and he spoke politely. He apologized and upgraded us and helped us carry the bags. He deserves thanks and respect and apprecite

10TH FLOOR SUPER NOISY. We have stayed at this wonderful hotel a few times. Here are the good and the bad : The good: - The breakfast: loads of choices even for vegans. Fresh and delicious. I can't imagine anyone complaining about this outstanding breakfast buffet. - The staff: always exceptionally friendly. - The pets: dogs welcome! - The coffee machine: Every room comes with a good quality coffee machine. The bad: - The queues at the reception for check-in and check-out are insanely long at certain hours. Rarely seen this long waiting time just to get to the receptionist. They would need more staff. - This time, we had a room on the 10th floor, but it was a bad idea. The bar is just above, on the 11th floor... You can clearly hear the music in the room. This goes on until 3 am. We got very little sleep. The next day, we asked for another room. The manager was very friendly and although the hotel was fully booked she found us a room on the 5th floor. The second night, we got a very good night's sleep. Still, this episode left a bitter feeling as we had paid expensive for a room on the 10th floor (because of the view), and then we got downgraded with no refund. - The accessories: You pay a small fortune to have the privilege to sleep in one of the fancy Hilton hotels. But when you enter the room, you quickly realize that they don't have something as basic as accessories. No slippers, no shower cap, not even a cup for the toothbrush. But at least you get towels, so that's a plus...

Sorry to say, but really disappointed this time. The water pressure of shower is very weak. I reported it in the morning about 9:30 in 17th. However, the lady of reception not even apologized but just said she will send someone to my room, she also trying to service another customer who want to have breakfast during our conversation. I feel disrespectful.

Excellent! The location is fantastic, offering superb transportation links. It's only a 2-3 minute walk to either catch a train to The Hague or a bus to Keukenhof Park. Plus, getting to the airport by train is incredibly convenient and fast, no taxi needed. There's also a supermarket conveniently located nearby for any last-minute purchases or essentials. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the disposable slippers provided were a thoughtful touch. The staff provided incredibly warm and enthusiastic service. The hotel also features a restaurant and bar. The only minor drawback was that they close quite early in the evening, with no food available after 10 PM. Highly recommended! I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip.

Very good hotel, close to the Airport only 2 stations by the bus number 397. And the hotel is just right down from the bus stop by the stair way. Perfect for the over night stay if you have long hours airport transfer.

This is my second time staying in Inntel. They are really in a good location. Here are my reviews according to the good and bad. Positive: 1. The location is perfect. Located at the Station Zaandam. Walkable distance. There are many shops nearby, like Albert Heijn etc. 2. The view from the hotel was very nice too. 3. Super friendly staff from the front desk. Negative: 1. Probably not hotel responsibility. But the escalator and elevator which access the hotel (outside the hotel) have not functioned for quite some time. As a tourist, mostly carried with heavy luggage, which caused inconvenience. 2. The design from the room and bathroom. There is a glass, so if someone goes to the toilet and turns on the light in the middle of the night. It was quite disturbing. If there was just a dim light it would be much appreciated. 3. The water power from the shower was quite weak. So kind of disappointed. But overall we still enjoyed a pleasant stay in Inntel this time.
