It's a very nice room of 27m².
There was a very friendly staff at the 8th floor reception,
and a free cafe machine (coffee, hot chocolate, hot milk, hot water)
snack cookies and honey sugar milk
The best part was that apples, pears, bananas, and fruits were free
The 8th floor reception had a sofa like a cafe and a window with a great view
The staff tip was optional, but I couldn't help but give it because it was so good
A fun trip with a child
I was lucky and got a very nice room for the same price.
I definitely want to come back again
This is my second time staying in Inntel. They are really in a good location. Here are my reviews according to the good and bad.
Positive:
1. The location is perfect. Located at the Station Zaandam. Walkable distance. There are many shops nearby, like Albert Heijn etc.
2. The view from the hotel was very nice too.
3. Super friendly staff from the front desk.
Negative:
1. Probably not hotel responsibility. But the escalator and elevator which access the hotel (outside the hotel) have not functioned for quite some time. As a tourist, mostly carried with heavy luggage, which caused inconvenience.
2. The design from the room and bathroom. There is a glass, so if someone goes to the toilet and turns on the light in the middle of the night. It was quite disturbing. If there was just a dim light it would be much appreciated.
3. The water power from the shower was quite weak. So kind of disappointed.
But overall we still enjoyed a pleasant stay in Inntel this time.

The hotel hardware is OK, but there are no slippers in the room, and you need to ask for a hair dryer. The location is far from the city center, and it takes about 8-10 minutes to walk to the nearest bus. There are car sales and repair shops nearby. The advantage is that parking is free. If you drive by yourself and want to save parking fees in the city, you can consider
Really nice hotel, in a quiet environment. Good for someone who is ok with walking a little bit to get public transport.
Rooms are ok, staff - really nice. Can't be better for the hotel itself.
Nice bar inside the Radisson, but with a really rude man, that destroyed our evening, and forced us to not turn back in Keuken never again, even cocktails were really nice. The tables should also be clean better/often as lots of rest of food/drinks were almost everywhere.
Usually I stay in Amsterdam city centre but I think I have found a new home. One stop train ride from Centraal and this imposing hotel is adjacent to Sloterdijk station. I have used hotels beside railway stations before and not been able to sleep, this one has total soundproofing. Spotlessly clean and service very politely provided. Rooms are modern, quirky in that each floor has a different coloured theme which is continued inside the rooms. Beds supremely comfortable also, I'd rate this as a first class stay and one that made my Netherlands trip very memorable. I would definitely return, excellent value for the money I paid via trip.com
There is not enough water foundation in the hotel.
There is lightning sensor in the toilet without the bathroom. I need to shake my hands every 5 minutes outside the shower room when i was showering.
The shower water pressure is too low.
I set A/C temperature 21 degrees Celsius, but the room temperature always keeps 22.8 degrees Celsius.
Excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Zaandam train station. Reception service good in general.
Room size good and spacious, except that bathroom door is too close to the bed.
Housekeeping leaves much to be desired. No cleaning & changing of towels on one day in one of our 3 rooms during our 4 nights' stay.
The worst thing is it's bathroom toiletries. Only very tiny bottles of shower jel/shampoo were provided and most of the bottle caps could not be turned open even with force. How could one clean his hair & body with just so little amount of body/hair wash?? Absolutely a stupid and nonsense procurement and supply!

GGuest UserVery good experience with this hotel. We stayed here for our last 2 days in amsterdam, it was fabulous.
The receptionist upgraded our room, the room is huge with all the necessary supplies, a bit of surprising that they do not provide toothbrush aset in the room, but you can easily request that from the reception.
The breakfast selections are very rich, we enjoyed very much! Wide selections of drinks, cold food and hot food. Champaigne, coffee, tea, juice, milk, we tried everything and not one is disappointed! Many selections of bread, cheese and sauces. I'm hungry again by recalling Even provide honey comb! Not to mention, the cafe and restaurant staffs are all very friendly and happy.
They offer free shuttle bus from/to Airport every 30minutes from 6am to midnight. You can take the free ride just by waiting at airport (hotel buses station) or the hotel lobby. I personally found this information on social media but not on the official sites, it would be better if they could include the instructions in the bookings or website. Also, the waiting time is not specific and constant, it would be better if you would do something about it.
Oh! The shower gel and shampoo provided are very good! Nice scent with good texture. I would love to buy a set if they sell.
Just the down side that the front reception do need some training on service consistency.
1. We politely asked about the spinning wheel when we check in at night(10pm), the first older male receptionist instructed us to come back tomorrow daytime to join for free. In the morning, the daytime female receptionist said we are only allowed to join the contest when we check-in. That's really disappointing and we thought, why would they lie to us? Probably they are not familiar with the service providing.
2. We found a brochure in the room, ”opt out for cleaning service for 5€ voucher”. Asked the receptionist about this on the next day, she immediately said that offer is no longer available. My partner said, ”we cancelled the cleaning service yesterday for this, why do you still put the brochure in the room if it is not available anymore?”. Then only she apologized and gave us a voucher. Thanks to that, we enjoyed a good fries from the Sports Bar with the voucher.
AAnonymous UserCost effective hotel. Quite many people stayed in this hotel which I didn’t aware while booking. Not bad. This is the only hotel I stayed on this trip that there’s separation between shower and bathroom, which is really good to my family.

We were a family of 3 traveling, and so we booked a room for 3. When we arrived in the room, the sofa bed was out, but there were no sheets in it. We called reception to get sheets. A lady came and made the bed. But only when she had left we realized she hadn't put a cover in the bed. We called again and somehow came with a cover.
When it was time to have a shower, there were only 2 towels (and by the way, no small towels at all). For a third time, we had to call, and this time, ask them for a towel.
The bathroom was pretty old and rundown. There was a big carack on the floor, painting coming off in the shower and mold stains.
Apart from that, the room and bathroom were spacious.
The next day, we left in the morning and came back at 5 pm. The room had still not been cleaned, so we called reception to get it done. Straight after that, we left. When we came back later, someone had been there to clean. There were clean towels, but they had also left the dirty ones. What's more, they hadn't cleaned the bathroom floor.
Dogs are welcome, so that's a big plus. And there's a beautiful grassy area with a pond, just beside the hotel. Perfect for walking them.
Parking is available but it's rather expensive.
We wanted to do a late check-out in the afternoon, as we had two dogs and a boy with us. It would have been much easier for them to stay in the hotel while we were doing our business in Amsterdam until 4 pm.
So we called around midnight and asked reception if it would be possible to check out at that time, at an extra cost. She said it depends if the hotel is fully booked, in which case we can't and that we have to call back at 7.30am.
So at 7.30, we called and were told that they are fully booked so impossible to get a late check-out. Which means that between midnight and 7.30 in the morning, they got fully booked... I suppose it's possible, but it felt more like they were not willing to help.
The boy and the dogs spent their day waiting for us in a café.
I wouldn't go back to this hotel as we had a bad experience. We expected better from Radisson.

GGuest UserWe had a comfortable one-night stay before an early morning flight out of Schiphol. It's only a 2 minute walk from the bus station and an under 15 minute ride by bus (they come pretty regularly, even at 6 AM) over to the airport. The hotel design has an environmental/animal focus, and it was pretty cool. It also seemed pretty newly renovated too. But would not recommend staying here if you're making the commute into the city center every day - takes quite a while and the trains aren't cheap.

Location
The hotel is located in the North of Amsterdam, 1min walk to the bus terminal, 2 mins walk to the metro station, 2 stops to Amsterdam central and 3 stops to Rokin. Besides of the two convenient stores and a food court in 1 min walk, there is a shopping plaza and bazzare within 7mins walk with a few big supermarkets, decathlon and etc.
Room
The room is modern and clear. The view is facing west and entry of the highway, so we can see the sunrise . We love the shower room very much with spacious setting and the wavey tiles in the shower. The conditioning is cold enough in the hot summer. Everything here is new and in brilliant condition.
(-)We got 2 pillows for each of us, but both of them are in the same size and it’s quite high for our necks.
Fitness
(-)The fitness room is tiny offers very basic machine and dumbells. I would love to see a more professional machine that works on the back, shoulders, and legs.
Dining
The breakfast runs from 7 to 11. There is a great variety of choices, from hot food, pastries, fruits, ham, cheeses, salmon, and cereal to different kinds of coffee, Ellie's tea bags, and fresh juices. It’s was excellent! Also, the dining area is huge and it’s very relaxing and quiet.
The left is the bar, which closes until 1am, and the fitness room is on the right.
Lobby
The staff were very nice in introducing the city's attractions and explaining how to get to certain places with public transport.
(-)The waiting areas is small. The concierge only serves two people at a time.
Conclusion
I would love to stay in Mercure hotels next time. It’s the best hotel titled in 4-star.

The room was beautiful and spotless though there was a tray of used glasses and some papers outside of our room but it's okay because it seemed like they were cleaning the hallway.They have welcomed us with a drink and absolutely loved it.

However, the lady of reception not even apologized but just said she will send someone to my room, she also trying to service another customer who want to have breakfast during our conversation.

GGuest UserI arrived in Amsterdam late at night. The hotel's shuttle was right there waiting for me. The drive was smooth and quick. The driver was really nice! I was greeted by a lovely young lady. Her smile was bright and welcoming. Check-in was quick and easy. The hotel was lovely. My room was nice. The bed was comfortable and quiet. I slept well. My wake-up call came on time, thank you 😊. I caught the hotel shuttle to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Excellent customer service at really good prices.
