First, we loved the onsen and its services, where we soaked in three pools of different temperatures, sweated in a sauna, then alternately cooled ourselves in cold baths.
Second, room services were excellent despite its furnishings seemed to be run down a bit.
Third, its location is central to travel most places of interest, which spreads out in Kagoshima Prefecture.
1) Paddler services are not widely used in Japan, and I thought that there are few such wonderful paddler services. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Mr. Paddler A, who was indebted to me personally and provided a wonderful service to other customers as well.
2) Regarding meals, the comfortable food menu was sophisticated, and although it was a simple menu such as salads and hamburgers, it was made with great care and was delicious! (There are some other menus that I'm interested in, and I'm looking forward to the next time.) On the other hand, I wondered if there was another menu for creative dishes and breads. (I think there are personal tastes ...)
3) Regarding drinks, there were many local products such as original drinks, and I enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, regarding the serve of wine etc., although it is a luxury hotel restaurant and from 2000 yen / glass, there is no tasting, detailed explanation, follow-up, etc., so I was reluctant.
4) The atmosphere of the room, facilities and amenities (local brands and environmentally friendly products) are also excellent. In addition, two types of soaps were installed, and I was able to choose the scent that suits my mood. However, although the shaver is a high-class item, it is very heavy and not easy to use, so I think it would be more convenient if it was a little lighter and cheaper to use.
thank you for helping me!
The scenery is picturesque, like the Mediterranean, and the facilities are excellent, but the sea view villa room is 2-story, one household per floor, one household per floor, and the open-air massage bathtub in the courtyard on the first floor, because the second floor can completely see the first floor through the balcony and window, there is no privacy at all. In addition, the check-out time is 10 o'clock, but fortunately there is enough space for rest in the public building in the lobby.
The hotel staff are very friendly and they also provide airport pick-up and drop-off services! But if you come to Amami and don’t have a car, it’s really inconvenient to travel. But you can ask the hotel to help you book a sightseeing taxi.
Everyone should try to avoid the rainy season in June. It rains every day, but we were lucky enough to have a sunny day. The hotel has a lawn to watch the starry sky, which is so beautiful!
Hotel can be accessed directly from the JR underpass, towards basement of hotel building. Tram station conveniently located in front of hotel. Hotel faces JR Station. Room is cozy with plenty of wall sockets. Good value for money. Room had lovely view of Mt Sakurajima.
Was upgraded from single bed to a large room with a sea view. It has a little balcony and was a great value. I could tell meals in the restaurant would be fabulous but too expensive for me.
There are outdoor hot and warm pools but you have to change in your room and although there is a sort of back way in, it is not completely private as some rooms look down on it so may be expected to wear swimwear. The swimming pool is closed except for July and August.
The hotel is good overall! The location is also OK, it takes about six or seven minutes to walk to the planetarium, which is quite convenient! But the breakfast is too simple and monotonous, and those with big appetites may not be full and need to go out to eat more.
I will still consider this hotel next time I come to Kagoshima!
It was a wonderful stay. The hotel management was excellent, and the room was in great condition. I want to give a special mention to Miss Gotanda 五反田, who guided me after check-in. Her detailed explanations and warm smile set a positive tone even before I checked in. The hotel's hot spring overlooks Sakurajima volcano, enjoy hot spring while watching the sunrise was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely come back again next time.
I like this hotel. I've stayed here for 2 times. They provide a free transfer from and to Railway station and a city centre. Very good onsen with a scenic view on Sakurajima. You can also rent a bike here in the hotel for a reasonable price. Convenience store is right by the hotel.

CCasper WongHot spring hotel in an area renowned for its hot springs. I deliberately chose the Japanese tatami-style to experience more of the local culture. As you can see from the photos, the view from my room was really nice! I also like the fact that both dinner and breakfast were included, as there isn't much around. Very comfortable stay overall, but mind you - the smell of sulphur (possibly?) from the hot springs is always there!

BBookClean room, nice beddings and good space appreciated. Hospitality and service was minimal to non existent and breakfast was outright poor. Which hotel in the world would give hotdogs (occupying two choices out of three) to guests as breakfast (not free). The other option is the unappetising granola yoghurt, or in takeaway boxes. Overall, I think there was the property was overpriced and remember not to choose the breakfast option!

GGuest UserExcellent. An amazing place to stay with your significant other. I would recommend it to anyone going for a honeymoon trip. Great views and the amenities provided us with everything we needed. But you should definitely have a car to get to and from the villa and the rest of Amami's restaurants, super markets and all the other spots. The bathroom was also mind blowingly gorgeous. The view from the window wall is something that will truly be unforgettable and all the staff are very kind. 10/10 no question. Absolutely incredible.

CCN777A traditional Japanese-style house. The indoor facilities are very old and have traces of history. The room is clean and tidy. The sand bath and hot spring are very good and comfortable. We booked a stay and two meals. The dinner was good, including beer, red wine, white wine and shochu. There is all you can drink, but the breakfast is relatively simple and not very tasty. The overall feeling is still very good, I would like to come again if I have the chance.
