2023年4月10日利用。 場所は鹿児島の繁華街でもある電停(路面電車)天文館の駅前で、バスの停車前にもありランドマーク的な存在だとも言えるかと思います。 確かに1階にはショッピングモールがあったり、最近のホテルという感じで、改装か新築された印象で館内は綺麗でした。 構造は7階がフロントで、8階から14階が客室。15階がレストランで朝飯もこちらになり、天気の良い日は桜島も見え、鹿児島らしい地元の料理が出た点では文句無いかと思います。 しかし減点となったのは以下の点 ●ホテルの車止めが無いところ 駐車場が少し離れたところにあるため荷物がある場合、どうしても車止めは必要かと思います。もう構造上仕方ないのですが、車で来た場合重い荷物を運ぶのにはやや辛いかなという印象を受けました。 ●提携駐車場がやや遠い チェックアウトの時晴れてる(雨天ではない場合)なら特段問題ないのですけど、雨が降っていたらややキツいかなと言う印象を受けました。 ●朝のレストラン 内容は問題ないのですが名物「鶏飯」(けいはん)目当てに来ている宿泊者が多いと思います。 しかし、補充が足りないというか出汁と米だけ残っており、具材補充の頻度が遅いかなという印象。 食材を大切にする気持ちは理解しますけど少し疑問が ●廊下の音響問題 たまたまなんですけど夜23時頃の話。 フロント階にタバコを吸いに行った時、廊下を歩いていると他の室内からですが中の音が聞こえて来たのには少し閉口してしまいました。 場所柄もあるのか解りませんが所謂オトナのお遊びの音なんですけど、防音はもう少し何とかして欲しいかなと感じました。 色々書きましたが、基本室内もレストランも綺麗ですし鹿児島では悪くないレベルのホテルかと思います。 確かに鹿児島では城山とかサンロイヤルが有名ですけど、便利性、値段を勘案するとこの先良いホテルになるのではないかと期待しております

We loved the view from the room, Sakura Island was just in front of us and we could actually see smoke coming out of its crater which was pretty awesome. The pools were also nice and the traditional restaurant near the lobby had some great Japanese food. The service was excellent, too. The only downside was that the bus stop is a bit far and walking to it in the middle of summer isn’t pleasant. But a taxi to the main train station costs around ¥1,800 which isn’t bad.

Very good. The hot spring is good. The facilities are good. Recommend to book this hotel if you want to enjoy quality holiday.

The staff members were very hospitable. Check in was fast and Jeffrey gave us detailed explanation of the facilities of the hotel. He also greeted us every time he met us in the lobby. While the renovation in the room is old fashioned, it is kept clean. We were very lucky that we had good view of Sakurajima during our two days stay. Breakfast in the lobby cafe and dinner in the Japanese restaurant were good.

鹿児島空港からレンタカー利用３０分弱で到着しました。 ホテルは本館と別館に分かれてますが本館の方が吹き抜けもありゴージャス、別館はチェックインした本館フロントから３Fにある館内の通路を抜ける必要があるので少々面倒です（別館の方がランク下という感じ）。 アサインされた別館のツインルームは室内が長方形ではなく少々いびつな造りなので使い勝手は今ひとつだったというのが正直な感想です（ひとりでツインルーム使用なら快適だと思います）。 大浴場は本館の地下にあるので別館泊だと結構離れてます。雰囲気はスポーツジムにある大浴場風な感じだと思いました。受付でタオルが借りられるので部屋からは手ぶらで行けるのは便利です。サウナは狭くて３名入れば満杯という感じ、内風呂は熱めとぬるめの２か所ありますが一番気にいったのは体温と同じ湯温３６度の寝湯です。熱くも無く寒くもないのでずっと浸かっていれて満足でした。 脱衣場はスポーツクラブのようなロッカーがあるのですが宿泊者が使用して良いのか分からなかったので脱衣籠利用で済ませました（これについての案内が無いのが不親切）。 時間帯によってはスポーツ合宿でここに宿泊していると思われる体育会系の若者が入浴していることもあり、その時には混雑します。 部屋のテレビで大浴場の混雑状況が確認できるシステムになっていますが常時男湯は少々混雑、女湯は空いているという表示でした、ドーミーインチェーンのホテルも同じようなシステムですがロッカーの鍵がかかっているかいないかで判別しているようなのですが、ここは大浴場受付のスタッフが目分量で混雑状況を判断して空き状況を決めてるようなのであまり当てにしない方が良いかもしれません。 ２連泊して朝食２回、夕食１回（いづれも別館１Fのバイキングレストラン）で済ませましたがこれぞという売りの１品が無かったのが残念なところです。１杯ずつ作るお茶器は良かったので売店でお土産に購入しました（朝食バイキングは２日共メニューは一緒でした） 食事をホテル外で取る場合は徒歩５分ぐらいのところに『いちにさん』という黒豚しゃぶしゃぶやとんかつなどがありました。当方は近くにあるイオン内のとんかつ店『竹亭』のとんかつが食べたかったのでレンタカーで行きテークアウトして部屋で食べました。イオンまでだと徒歩だと１５分ぐらいかかりそうだったので断念した為です。 尚、コンビニは徒歩５分ほどのところにローソンがあります。 もう少し街中の立地だったらホテル外の飲食店巡りも出来そうだった気がしてます。 鹿児島空港から近い観光地だと霧島温泉郷を選択しがちですがたまにはこのようなホテルに投宿してみるのも良い気がしました。 機会があればまたお世話になっても良いと思えるホテルでした。

Huge bath tub within the room. Slightly bigger room than japan's average because of that but living area is smaller as a result. There is a sofa in this room but that takes up the space for luggage. Overall pretty good. Just opppsite the jr station with underground access. Sakurajima was covered by clouds when I was there.

Really nice stylish new hotel. We stayed three nights, and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and comfortable our Superior Queen room was. Also included a small kitchenette, a washer/dryer and a bathtub, all at a very central location, so an excellent base for exploring Kagoshima. The rooftop restaurant was booked solid for a special holiday menu while we were there, so we didn’t get a chance to try dinner, but we did have a very good Japanese/French breakfast while enjoying the view. Finally, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, really went above and beyond to assist us with a couple of requests, which we really appreciated. Happy to recommend and we plan to return!

There was a color 々 trouble at check-in, but I was able to have a good feeling in the sincere response. Also, the facility seems to be renovated from this month, but overall it was old, but on the contrary, I was able to spend a calm time with a retro feeling to the extent that I didn't particularly care. The hot springs were also color 々 and the first was buffet! When you enter the large venue, you will find a large plate near the entrance with crab feet! Inevitably, the tension was exploding, and each other dish was polite and very delicious. I would like to repeat it if I have the opportunity after the renovation is over.

This is a new hotel with bunk beds which can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. The beds were spacious and a good size. We stayed in the executive bunk family room which can accommodate 6 persons. It may be a bit tight for 6 persons but just right for our family of 4. There is full size washing machine cum dryer in the room which is very useful for washing our clothes. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast with a good spread but as there is no dining area, you need to pack your breakfast into bento boxes and eat them in your room. But we saw a sign which says breakfast will be separately charged from Jan 2024 onwards. Now, breakfast is complimentary and included in the room rate. The hotel also does not have car park but there is more then sufficient coin parking right next door which cost 600 yen from 2000 to 800. The location is quite central and a short 5-10 min drive to Tenmonkan. There is also a good ramen restaurant across the road from the hotel, Rai Rai Tei which is worth trying. Just a tip, we got a much better room rate on Rakuten than the usual Agoda, *********** sites.

The hotel is very well equipped with mineral baths in each room on the balcony (has to be outside as the water smells quite sulpherous) . The Onsen was one of the best I have experienced in Japan with lots of pools, water features and a generally really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant serves amazing food - both western and Japanese, with 6 course meals each night of an extremely high quality and well worth the half-board costs. There free parking and it’s a short drive to the volcanos if you want to go walking or admire the views

I stayed 2 nights at thesunflex. The location is excellent with decent sized rooms and our deal included breakfast You can choose from 3 types. You will have to pay for parking i believe tobe 900 yen.not far from the hotel is an excellent bakery called sumomo whichhas tasty products which are 110 to 160 yen so fantastic prices. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Easy walk to the sakurajima ferry and many bars and restaurants within walking distance.

The location is super convenient, close to the Astronomical Museum, walk to Sakurajima Pier, Aquarium and Dolphin Pier for more than ten minutes, the price is very high, there are natural hot springs, opposite the hotel is Central Park, near the National Shrine and Museum, except that there is no shower fluid in the room (only aromatherapy is provided), others

I am currently staying here on my way to Yaku Island. After being here for awhile, I am already used to the quality of Japanese service and this place measures up to those standards. Though a bit long in the tooth, my small single room was clean, with wifi, frig, telebi, and quiet. The onsen was small but old style which I like and the water was hot enough and the facility clean. Towels were provided also. It was on the top level which was nice. The front desk folks were efficient and spoke adequate English to a non-Japanese speaking Japanese American. I asked for a non-smoking room when I booked and it was provided. It overlooks a beautiful Shinto shrine and a nice park is across the street. It is close to the Tenmonkan area with lots of restaurants and convenience stores. Pleasantly surprised and happy this worked out.

I used it for a day trip bath. The hot springs are large and splendid. Sukayu Onsen Ryokan in Aomori is said to be a thousand-person bath, but it seems that more people can take a bath here. It is a huge hot spring similar to a gymnasium. There are various spring quality and you can enjoy it. There were various types of bathtubs. I didn't stay at the hotel, but it seems to be a hotel with a history. The garden was also magnificent. Kirishima Onsen is far from the railway station and the number of buses is not so large, so it is convenient to rent a car.

. It was about 25000 yen per night. The room had two large refrigerators and two semi open-air baths connected to the hot water and the hot water. Both are source water. Dinner started with bird sting, pickles of non-pesticide vegetables, sticks of non-pesticide vegetables, vegetables, and lava baking of meat centered on chicken. Lava is said to be a lava in Sakurajima. Breakfast was self-service, with vegetables and a little food, and it was about a business hotel. This inn seemed to be doing a day trip rental bath, and there were many private rooms with open air burial in the building. I thought I could use it for time rental without staying next time. I found this place when I lived in Kirishima Onsen Village and tried to move to another place. Check-in at 4 o'clock.. I arrived early.. I got off at the nearest train station and picked up the service later, 4 check-in was a bit late. Because it is a residential area, you can't see anything near Yokan. On the contrary, it is really quiet, so it’s nice to rest. There are too many kaiseki dinners, I did not apply, I only applied for breakfast. The breakfast time was really good, I looked at the scenery outside~~The hot spring was too slippery.. The stone was too slippery. I enjoyed the hot spring very carefully. The location is not very good. . Most Japanese people come here.. Most of the staff can only speak Japanese.. When you stay in a ryokan, please show the important content printed in English Thank you very much for taking care of me.

We came her in Feb 2022 for a weekend getaway from the city. Glad we did.All of the room will have a city view but if you book one of the corner rooms, you will not only get a nice tatami area for viewing but will have a city and mountain view, but be sure to get the top 2 floors for the best view. Also, if you book rooms ending in 01, 02, or 03, these will be closest to the elevators (the rooms were pretty well insulated against noise). The property also has a public onsen bath. To access it take a short automatic tram ride to a separate lounge area stocked with ice cream and drinks, then a short walk to the bath house. Along the way you will see a few cabanas that you can use to have a nice picnic when the weather permits. Meals are served in a semi-private space, meaning you will have a room but noice from the other guest do bleed through since the walls do not go all the way up to the ceiling. Food was great. For breakfast, the hotel knew that I hated to look for small pin bones in the fish so intead the substituted it for stewed pork. The staff also performed one of the local legends after dinner, don't miss it. Overall, its a great hotel with excellent service.

Kirishima Eternal Yado Isshin is located about an hour by car from the center of Kagoshima City and about 30 minutes from Kagoshima Airport. There are only 8 rooms, and we stayed in a standard room. There is an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and the open-air bath was especially pleasant. However, the only view from the open-air bath was the indoor garden, so I thought it would have been better if we could at least see the large pond of the inn. Dinner, one of the greatest pleasures, was fulfilling. Most of the nine course menus used ingredients from Kagoshima. The vegetables, fish, and meat produced in Kagoshima were all delicious. In particular, the sashimi assortment of fatty tuna, amberjack, and Kuroge Wagyu beef shabu-shabu were delicious and memorable. By the way, for drinks, I had 3 cups of Japanese sake ``Kokuryu Junmai Daiginjo in Fukui Prefecture''. Alcohol in Kagoshima is basically shochu made from sweet potatoes or brown sugar, so if you don't want to pair shochu with your food, you'll need to choose from about three types of sake or several types of wine. The person in charge of the service was a young woman. I wasn't able to speak or act like a seasoned proprietress, but I could tell that she was working very hard, and I was actually glad that she was fresh. Many of the dishes made with ingredients from Kagoshima were very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The prefectural road from the airport was a mountain road with quite a few ups and downs. There was a lot of traffic, and honestly I thought it was far away. However, it was an accommodation that made me feel glad that I had come this far. The room was a two-room Japanese style room with a bed. There was also a garden and an open-air bath on the first floor. I could see the mountains of Kirishima and it was a soothing view. It was quiet and I didn't have to face other customers. As it is called a Japanese restaurant and inn, all the food was very delicious. As mentioned in other reviews, the miso-yaki large shrimp was so delicious that I wanted to eat more. All items are carefully crafted using local ingredients. Perhaps because the soup stock was good, the soy milk hotpot was rich and rich. It was quite a portion, but our family of four ate it all. Although it is quite far from Kanto, I would like to visit again to try this delicious food.

Last time we had a sand steamed kaiseki meal and an open-air bath in the room, but this time we didn't have one, but this time we enjoyed the Tenku no Yu and were satisfied. There is a sky hot spring on the roof, and there are two large and small baths, both of which are warm, probably because it is an open-air bath. When you soak in the bathtub, you become one with Kinko Bay. The room may have been renovated during the coronavirus, but before, it looked like an old hot spring inn, but this time the room was clean and the image completely changed. For some reason, I felt good, but I only received one key, so I feel like I need to improve. The dining room is a private room, and it feels larger than the last time I used it, perhaps too spacious for two people? That's what it felt like. Hot springs are passed to the table, and guests can make hot spring eggs and boil vegetables. They also fried fish cakes right in front of you. (Employees will do it for you) Is it like keeping something hot while it's still hot? As was the case last time, this is GOOD! The difference from last time (before the coronavirus) is that the employees are younger, and their attire has changed from Japanese to Western clothes. However, the customer service remains the same. In addition, the garden was decorated with elaborate lighting at night, and coffee was available for free at the rest area at the entrance to the garden. There are about 10 parking spaces on the hotel grounds, and there seem to be others, but if you want to park on the hotel grounds, arrive early.

This is my third stay in about 10 years. Previously, I was with my children, but this time I am with my wife. The purpose of this visit is to enjoy the fireworks hosted by the hotel at a leisurely pace. It is scheduled to be held from July to August in 2022 (a total of 12 times), so we decided to visit on that date. Fortunately, the weather was good, and I was able to enjoy the spectacular fireworks for about 15 minutes, thinking, ”What? Such big fireworks at a hotel?” and ”Are they still going to launch them? Is that okay?” Breakfast was a buffet, but the fruit was carefully cut and beautifully arranged so that it was easy to eat, and the salad was placed on a plate with lettuce and broccoli, and guests could add onions, chicken, etc. to their liking. In addition to taking measures against infectious diseases, I was happy to see that they were thinking of their guests. The tankan and ponkan juices were also very delicious. The outdoor pool can be accessed from the sea, and you can feel the openness that you cannot get from an indoor pool. I recommend it for families with children. After taking a bath in the natural sand bath, you can take the elevator to the upper floor and enjoy a hot spring bath overlooking Kinko Bay. I thought this was a service that only a large hotel could provide. There is no denying that the facilities are old, but the rooms do not feel that old and are well-cleaned. The staff are unpretentious but polite, making this a comfortable hotel.

I used it for the first time this time. The employees were good and satisfied. It took a little time to move to the sand bath, or it was warm to the core of the body. I want to go again.

すべてにおいて細かやな配慮が感じられ、素晴らしいお宿でした。何よりお食事がとてもおいしく、今回の旅行が素晴らしいものとなった一因でもありました。担当の中居さんの笑顔も素敵で、チェックアウトの際には駐車場まで見送っていただき、車が見えなくなるまで手を振っていただきました。娘二人がまだ幼いころ住んでいた鹿児島を二人の結婚を機に再訪し、思い出を再確認する旅でしたが、こちらのお宿のおかげでまた思い出が一つ増え、素晴らしい旅となりました。お食事をする部屋も娘の名前にちなんで選んでくださり(めずらしい名前なのでたぶんご配慮いただいたものと思います)感動しました。旅行が好きでいままで多くの宿泊施設に泊まりましたが、上位３本の指に入ると思います。機会があればまた訪れたいお宿でした。

It was October when I stayed, but the weather was bad and the sea was rough ｡ I felt very sorry to think that I could see a great view from the room if the weather was good. The room was a Japanese room, but the tatami mats are old and old. The door of the room, the bath and the toilet were cleaned neatly, and the feeling of Showa was pump. ● Meal The dining hall was a large hall in the morning and evening ｡ It was very easy because it was a low seater who was gentle to a bad foot. I think dinner is quite stiff because there are various local dishes in Kagoshima. I drank hot potato shochu for the first time here and stayed for a while. The staff of the delivery staff explained the dishes with a unique intonation in Kagoshima, so ah, I came to Kagoshima. ｡ Is all the delivery staff local? It gives you a good customer service. ● Bathroom How many meters walk from the room to the public bath? It is far away. The public bath is very large. The dressing room and bath were ｡ the open-air bath was also surrounded by trees in the south with rocks, so it was a botanical garden like a jungle bath. It was raining, but the open-air bath was cold even in October in southern countries. There was a sand steaming bath facility in the back of the open-air bath. I didn't do it at the hotel because I had a sand steaming bath outside the hotel, but it seems that you can experience a sand steaming bath in the hotel. I was able to stay cheap and the dishes were delicious, but I was worried about the oldness of the room. In me, it is an image of a hotel a long time ago on the remote island of Nankoku.
