4-Star Hotels in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan

Located about 10min walk from Kanazawa station, very near Omicho market, hotel Forza was very advanced in the check in process. It was a decent hotel with a small coin laundry room (4 machines). However, I had 2 unhappy encounters. Trip didn't allow me to modify the dates (cancel 1 night) so I called the hotel directly. I was told by Amy or Emi to cancel the entire booking (which did not incur additional charges) and rebook, which resulted in a higher price per night. When I checked in, I didn't like the layout of the room which I was not aware of from the photos prior - bed directly facing the door, it wasnt possible to watch the TV from the bed nor from the swivel chair unless I turn it around (I bought take outs for my dinner), so I called the front desk to ask for a change (I also checked online and saw that there were available rooms) however I was rejected by Amy/Emi once again, with the reason that their housekeeping would have to make rounds again and will incur additional charges. I decided not to argue further and made do with it for my 3 nights of stay.

Location: very conveniently located right besides the bus stop for buses back and forth from Kanazawa station as well as other major touristy spots. But even walking wise everything including Kenrokuen garden, Kanazawa castle, the famous districts & also just 2-3 min walk to Omiya shrine Hotel & Room standard: Elegantly classy and very contemporary rooms. Size was also pretty good and comfortable enough for 2 people for standard room. Room amenities are also very good and the Public bath at top also looks quite fancy. Staff service: Was very very impressed with the staff service. I think everyone spoke & understood basic English to assist with any questions. Furthermore they even have great personalised hotel brochures for restaurants and spots nearby the hotel and what cuisine each offered which I found very helpful. Overall an easy 5/5 stay

It has a Japanese-style room feel Children have to pay an additional 3,000 yen to stay, which is very suitable for plus There are relatively few bathrooms, but the water temperature is very good The hotel has hot springs, open-air hot springs, saunas. There is free ice cream to eat in the hot spring Breakfast is very rich, children like salmon caviar, you can add unlimited 😂 There is instant fried tempura, but also the coffee machine has matcha latte. The hotel has access to lift parking voxy seven-seater can enter You can walk to Kanazawa Omicho Market, very close.

A clean and comfortable hotel, except that the hotel is inconspicuous, it is perfect. The hotel is 15 minutes from the JR station, so it is very convenient to push luggage. Opposite the hotel is the Omi Town Market, which offers a wide range of food and shopping. It is also not far from Kanazawa Castle and other attractions on foot. The location is definitely a quiet yet prosperous place, so you can enjoy the tranquility of Kanazawa while being convenient. The interior of the hotel is very stylish. You can soak in the hot springs to relieve the fatigue of the day. The breakfast is very rich and the room space is sufficient. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Kanazawa.

Overall the hotel not bad , only the negative part there’s no direct covered way from Kanazawa station to the hotel, arrived late evening raining day and need to run to the hotel with my heavy luggage

The hotel is very convenient to the Kanazawa train station. It is a clean efficient hotel. It has been newly renovated with a modern theme. The service was excellent. But the check in process is a little strange. There is a front desk staff but they have to do some functions, like a second room key, by using an ATM like machine in the lobby. The on-site bath is basic but does the job. The WiFi speed is good.

Grass service! Friendly welcome staff. Unlimited free Saki after 3pm. Stayed there during the new year. And experienced earthquake on January 1st 2024. Staff was very professional about it. And evacuated everyone fast. Hotel did not collapse! :)

The hotel that we stayed in was SUPERB!! Its very ideal for us having kids as the hotel is situated few minutes walk from the station plus the underpass that protects us from cold since we are not used to a very cold/snowy winter plus closed to restaurants and convenient stores. The staff were all friendly, polite and respectful. They’re all lovely and helpful! We had a spacious and tidy room as well making as feel comfortable and gave us a complete relaxation after a whole day activity. We’d love to visit Japan and go to Kanazawa again next year and we’d love to stay at Hotel Mystay Kanazawa. Trasmonte Family from New Zealand

The hotel is within a walking distance of around 5 minutes. I booked a larger room with twin beds and a large sitting area so we had much space to move around in the room. The bath is separated from the toilet and I like this design. Breakfast had sufficient choices. The staff are nice and helpful. Just one comment on the sliding door that was locked ”by itself” one night. I finally needed to unlock it with a coin.

The hotel is at a prime location on the main street and close to most of the attractions. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They served western style breakfast. The spread was good and tasty. The room was nice, clean and well maintained. The occupancy of the restaurant, public bath and other shared spaces can be checked from the room on the tablet. The only issue was that the blinds in the room did not block the outside light. Hence, it disturbed the sleep.

First of all, I must say that the hotel staff are polite and friendly, which makes me willing to stay here again in the future. The price is cheap, but the location is relatively biased. There is a problem with the management of the hotel and the staff should be re-educated. The four employees of Check-in and Check-out are not good in English and need to use online translation. However, because they are still afraid of communicating with foreigners, they can flash and flash, and the hotel facilities are not explained. I booked a ”Superior Twin Room (Lake View)” and ”Standard Triple Room (Lake View)” (I will book a ”Random Room” in the future, and I don't feel that the room is better for spending more money), they may want to help me line up, so I gave me two triple rooms, but I won't say it when I check-in. After we chose Italian food, we told us that Italian food can only be 2 people, Japanese food 3 people. Later, I asked if I could not eat together? She called again to confirm that she could eat Japanese food together. (I guess it is because the superior twin room can choose Italian food, but the standard triple room is not good. It may be written on the hotel's official website, but it is not written clearly on trip.com) This hotel is more biased towards leisure hotels, you can play croquet, billiards, tennis, etc., or you can ride an electric car to the lake for free. If you look at the dinner specifications of the hot spring hotel, the Japanese dinner here is below the level. The cleanliness of the room is OK, but the sink of the bath, almost every one has hair inside, and the cleanliness needs to be strengthened. The management of breakfast is also problematic. When we walked in to have breakfast, the waiter did not ask us the room number, but asked us to ask the front desk. The front desk didn't even ask the room number, so we went in and ate directly. No room number, this management method is only applicable to Japanese people, that is, if you want to eat breakfast, you can go directly in. No one knows if the accommodation includes breakfast. Although it is a lake view room, Chaishan Temple will be covered (the seventh floor of the total floor is allocated on the fourth floor, the difference is as photo), if you look at the mountain view, it is similar.

The equipment of this room was very attractive as I saw it in the photos on Trip.com. I saw that some rooms had a thin hot spring basin, so I chose this room. I was so happy that I could soak in the hot spring in the room. How did I know that there was no such equipment when I arrived in the room? After I went to the front desk to find out the situation, after dealing with them for a while, they just said that the information on the Trip.com website was wrong. This was a photo of another room and had nothing to do with their hotel. . Therefore, I advise everyone who plans to book a hotel on Trip.com not to trust the photos and information on the Trip.com website!

Obviously different treatment! However, it is necessary to specify that the door-to-door driver and the baggage master serve the first-class bar. They smile and face each other, and they greet each other with a big compliment. The front desk should really learn from them! The surrounding towns can be said to be nowhere to go, not recommended. It is better to have a horse hot spring and Yufuyuan!

The room, hot spring and food are all good, especially the hot spring water quality is very good. Let's talk about the location of the room. It should be the worst room given among the expensive rooms of the same type. The floor is the lowest. Opposite is Hattori Shrine. The room can be seen clearly from some angles. Since I only stayed for two nights and it seemed that the room was fully booked, the possibility of changing rooms was low. The role and advantages of the platform were not reflected. Moreover, Ctrip was disappointing in confirming the pick-up at Jr Station. At first, I contacted the hotel through Ctrip butler to make an appointment for the pick-up. Ctrip replied that there was a shuttle bus every half an hour and with a yellow flag. As a result, I waited for more than half an hour and called myself. The hotel came to pick me up in ten minutes. Later, I communicated that there was no scheduled shuttle bus at all, and the flag was green. I don't know how Ctrip contacted. I was very disappointed with Ctrip this time.

Onsen is good. Meal is satisfactory. Room is cozy and roomy

The hotel has a nice view, you can call the hotel again when you arrive at the station and ask them to pick you up. This is an old-fashioned hotel with almost no foreigners. The waiters are old aunts and uncles, and they are very enthusiastic. But the last shuttle bus that will take you to the station is 10:10 in the morning. After that, you may need to take a bus trip by yourself. There is platform 26a nearby. We haven't taken a seat. It is estimated that we will have to wait a long time. We went for a walk. I have never seen a bus coming over.

If you like hot springs, this should be a good choice. The hotel is good in all aspects, the service is very good, and the hotel hardware is also good. The hotel has its own hot springs. There is a Meiji-era hot spring outside the door that seems to be quite good. It is free for hotel guests. Yes, the price includes breakfast and dinner. The quality is very good. After staying for two days, I felt that I was full after the second meal. If you don’t like hot springs, it is suitable to experience a Japanese-style hotel. We don’t like hot springs. After staying for two nights, I felt like I had nothing to do 😂 😂 😂

I am a self-driving tour (Jinyu Dongxunfang - London He Midway Hotel chooses parking) without thinking about transportation (the hotel has a special car to pick up and drop off from Kaga), the Wendian is very well maintained, it is a designated sightseeing hot spring franchise hotel in Japan, hot spring water is good, there is a public bath (is hot spring water), There are three private soups, which need to be paid at night (the appointment is free in the morning), I am very satisfied with the morning and evening, I have the largest room (there is a large hall), there is a reception welcome drink, there is any tea, there is a snow strip after bathing, there is a morning coffee, the focus is not expensive.  When leaving, the reception staff will bow and wave goodbye. It is a traditional Japanese hotel and is the choice of Japanese tourist resort hotels.

I wanted to go to Kaga Onsen, but I didn't know how to choose a hotel. I chose this hotel after reading a travel book. The brand is old, the facilities are too old, it was renovated in 1996, there are big stains on the carpet, not many people live there, some places feel gloomy and poorly ventilated. The hot springs did not meet my expectations, one indoor and one outdoor, very ordinary. The dinner was good and I ate until I was full. The Japanese-style room is not bad, with a bathtub for soaking, but we didn't use it. The waiter seemed to be far away from you, with no expression on his face. He didn't move at all when he saw us taking our luggage. There was only one aunt who was in charge of our dinner. She was cheerful and very enthusiastic. I will definitely change the place next time I go.

The room was very clean and it was easy to use as it was close to the station. At night, they had a projection mapping in front of the hotel, and the kids looked like they had fun getting jobs. There is no affiliated parking lot, but there is a parking lot nearby, which was convenient!

This hotel was incredible! You are welcomed like royalty with a tea ceremony while looking out onto the beautiful garden. The rooms are huge and are simply incredible. There are two public onsens, one for each gender and if you want a private Onsen you can book that too. We are nearby in several really nice izakiyas which were fantastic. The younger staff, as well as the owner and his daughter speak English and one of the receptionists is Chinese. I can not recommend this place highly enough. If you want a really traditional ryokan and a relaxing stay just book this hotel. It is truly amazing!
