I chose Ra***a Towers primarily because of the location and its website. The location was excellent for me, just a few minutes walk from the entrance of Sri Ra***a Ashram which was literally at the end of the street. (I discovered a nearby cafe/restaurant called 'The Dreaming Tree' which is one of the main places for meeting Westerners and which is also just a few minutes walk away plus Ganga Ma's place is also close by for Satsangs). The staff were always friendly, approachable and helpful (and arranged a taxi for me in advance from Chennai airport direct to Ra***a Towers). The attached restaurant served traditional local food which was fine although I preferred to buy my own cereals and fruit for breakfast which I prepared in the kitchen area of my room. My room was fine and everything worked, including the hot water. At night, monkeys would sleep against my bathroom window and on my balcony! Another feature of this hotel I liked was the rooftop terrace which had great views of *********a. The website was a little misleading about the meditation halls though, when I was there the meditation halls appeared to be being used as dormitories. And the library was out of use while I was there too due to building work. Overall though, I was happy with my stay here: the place was clean and secure, and seemed relatively high-end compared to ***y other places in Tiruvannamalai.

Hotel location is good......Common areas are well maintained however the rooms are not as reflected in photograph on the website....Restaurant is not well ***aged although the staff is good but I feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. ...Buffet breakfast is good....Biryani taste was good....Food in general was good...Had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to transfer my luggage from room during checkout.....There was a lot of difference between the price as mentioned on trip.com and directly with hotel.....Trip.com was less for the same Privilege Suite....

A grand hotel by the seaside. Close proximity to the seaside. Rooms are big enough and friendly staff. The food offered is decent. The hotel has a bar and roof top, pool side dining area. Enough to hold a small event of 30-50 people.

I stayed at Novotel Chamiers Road three times in September 2024. The location makes this hotel a good choice. Have been fortunate to Meet Chef Amit at Novotel and his magic with food has been great. On the contrary the service and housekeeping has been a bit of downer in my third visit. But none the less a great stay always.

Our stay at the sterling was a delightful experience, thanks to its prime location near the market and friendly, attentive staff. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and offered comfortable beds with modern amenities. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of local and continental options, and the restaurant staff were particularly accommodating to dietary needs. Had a very nice time in MGM right from enquiry till the end of the program the journey was very smooth. Special thanks to Geetha from the sales team, who made the journey very smooth. She is very good in negotiations and she closed the deal in win win situation for both the parties. Her hospitality, care and courtesy was awesome. A well mannered person with a lots of smile on her face. She answered all our queries with a lot of patience and smile. A very good sales professional. The service team was also awesome and the quality of food was very good. The chef's menu was very good and all the taste buds very completely satisfied. The service provided by Srinivasan of operations team was awesome. The overall experience at MGM Resorts was excellent and will be remembered for a long time. MGM Resorts is a real value for money.

Loved the stay. Staff and service are excellent and reliably great. The location is right in the middle of the town in a main thorough fare, in close proximity to the Temples for those who visit on a pilgrimage to Kanchipuram. The access to the location though, as also visibility from the road leaves room for improvement. Food was delicious and great, and the free breakfast had an elaborate big spread. The courtesy of the staff who are always checking up on you and asking you how's your stay and dining experience deserves a special mention. All in all, a great facility to have in Kanchipuram that makes staying there comfortable and worry free.

The booking was not pleasant as we have mention that we wanted a non-smoking rooms but at the check-in we are told that smoking rooms was assigned. However holiday-inn team are great, even the hotel is booked at 100%, they are able to work something out and provide the non-smoking room. Booking via Trip.com is not 100% guarantee of the room that we wanted, thus please check with hotel each time booking is made, as Trip.com DOES NOT ensure anything as they mention this kind of request we will need to talk to the hotel directly since Trip.com does not have any access to talk to the hotel.
