5-Star Hotels in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan

Location: On the outskirts of Okinawa city on the edge of Kadena air base - not a problem if you are driving as it connects to the main routes, not far also from American Village Parking: Ample free parking Room: Spacious with a lot of light, but since it is close to the air base you can hear military planes taking off and landing through the morning Breakfast: A very good spread including local dishes Facilities: Swimming pool on rooftop (water looked really cold) with a bar but the views were great, and welcome drinks were complimentary and available till late. Onsen on 2/F also opens till late

The hotel is located at the south side of Naha airport, which is close to the outlet mall and DMM aquarium. The hotel facilities are great with nice swimming pool and beach. There is also an indoor pool with warm water. We had dinner at the Kanazawa restaurant. The food was decent however there was a service staff who couldn't really speak English and when we asked her if the egg of the kids menu could be fully cooked, she was a little upset when we asked her a couple of times to confirm, and her subsequent service to our table was subpar. Overall the hotel is nice and recommended, the pools and beach are definitely the attractive points of staying here.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a family trip, and I had a fantastic experience. The location is absolutely ideal, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions and amenities. On top of that, the breakfast was a highlight of my stay—delicious, fresh, and with a variety of options to suit different tastes. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated place to stay.

This is the second time to stay with this hotel in 2 years. Location: 8/10 The hotel is located in the middle of Okinawa Island in Onna area. It takes around 50-55 mins drive from Naha airport. Some local restaurants and Lawson can be found around 5-10 walk around hotel. Nothing wrong with the location as we selected it. Service: 10/10 Booked the club lounge access with the express check in and snack time during the day. No words to describe its service as the smiles are everywhere and always be welcomed by everyone in the hotel. To highlight one thing that we needed a screwdriver to open a small cover of my son’s toy, the team was so good to fine one for me which I do not think a hotel needs to help me for a request like that. Facilities: 9/10 The outdoor swimming pools were closed due to the weather. I recently stayed at this resort and had a wonderful experience. The room was magnificent and very spacious, offering a great sea view. The resort also has a good stall inside where you can buy souvenirs, which was quite convenient. The restaurant at the resort was great, offering a wide variety of choices. Additionally, joining as a member provided a big discount to enjoy their buffet, which was a great perk. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this resort for its spacious rooms, excellent sea view, convenient souvenir shopping, great restaurant options, and beneficial membership discounts for the buffet.

The hotel was well maintained. They provided valet parking. Buffet breakfast was great.  However we as a family of four were only given two bottles of water and any extra water will be charged. We asked for extra blankets and they smelt so bad like old dusty wardrobe… very rough to touch and my daughter hated them.

Hotel Collective was hands down the best hotel during our stay in Okinawa! From start to finish, everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The service attitude of the staff was truly outstanding. Every interaction was warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The hotel’s commitment to hospitality really stood out. The rooms were super clean and spacious, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. It’s rare to find such well-maintained and generously sized accommodations, especially in such a convenient location. Speaking of location, it was absolutely perfect for shopping, dining out, and sightseeing. Being right in the heart of Naha, we had easy access to Kokusai Street, local restaurants, and cultural landmarks. Everything we needed was just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okinawa. Hotel Collective sets the bar high for comfort, service, and convenience!

It was an excellent stay at the hotel. The dinner buffet was great with many okinawa dishes. The room was very clean and service was great. My family had a nice time there

I love this hotel! Exterior + interior! It looks classy and sophisticated! Carpark is just opposite the hotel if you need to park your rental car there. It is 1500 yen per night, but it is on a first come, first served basis. Otherwise, they will direct you to a nearby parking area if it is full. Language wise, no issues, they will understand and converse in English. WIFI is strong, with no connection issues so far. Room wise is big enough for us, bigger than I have expected for a standard room. Amenities are great. They have in room safe + hair dryer + coffee machine with capsules + air freshener spray for fabrics, and it smelled so nice! They even have a bathtub for standard room! Toilet seat always feel so warm and comfy with their warmer and shower, taps, toilet, and sink are all in good condition. Water power is strong! They even have a full-length mirror for those who wanna make up with ease or check their clothings prior to heading out. There are also 2 umbrellas in the room for usage in case it is raining. Toilet amenities are plentiful, ranging from bath towel, shower cap, toothbrush for both kid and adult, facial cotton, cotton buds, comb, razor, rubber bands, bath salts, shampoo, conditioner, hand and body wash and cream. Not forgetting the mineral water in the room, too, plus complimentary cookies from the hotel! Also, bathroom slippers and bath robes are also provided as well for those who need them. The pillows and mattresses feel so comfy, and every night is a wonderful sleep! Feel so touched and pleased with its tip-top service and amenities. Thumbs up! Breakfast wise, I can not comment as I choose the room without breakfast as there are plentiful eateries nearby, and some open as early as 8am. There is nothing else to fault for the stay as everything is so wonderful! Highly recommended!

This is a very impressive hotel. Our family enjoyed the facilities provided by the hotel. There is free beer and wine. Breakfast starts at 7:00 until 14:00. You can eat as many times as you want.
