My room has an amazing view of the river which is especially beautiful at night. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Everyone from the front desk, the door men, the executive lounge staff and the housekeeping staff were very pleasant. I appreciate Fo Xiu who went up to my room to understand my concerns because of the language barrier. My only complaint was that I ordered room service. I ordered steak and soup but there was no dinner plate included. It was difficult to cut the steak in the tiny sizzling plate it was served on. I appreciate the male staff who brought my order to my room. That said, everything else was fantastic. My wishlist is to have a full length mirror inside the room. When I visit the Harbin again, I will stay here.

First, my overall impression: what a delightful surprise! I initially came with low expectations, assuming hotels near tourist attractions wouldn't be exceptional. However, from the moment we were greeted, to the front desk, and the incredibly attentive staff we saw everywhere, I truly felt, 'This is what a five-star hotel should *really* be like!' A huge thank you to all the staff for their warm and attentive service. My baby absolutely loved the upgraded family room, which was thoughtfully equipped with their favorite toys, including a rocking horse and a small slide. The complimentary fruit was perfectly sweet, and the desserts were both exquisite and delicious. A special shout-out to the breakfast! They had hot noodle soup perfect for babies – the noodles were wonderfully springy, and the broth was delightfully light. My baby's 'clean plate club' moment was proof enough of the amazing culinary skills of the kitchen staff! Reflecting on our stay, I can truly say we felt completely at home. Thank you for every genuine greeting and warm smile. We'll definitely be choosing to stay here again on our next visit! 🥰

Our high-speed train arrived close to 10 PM. As we were traveling with elderly parents and a child, we booked this hotel for its proximity. It wasn't quite as close as we'd hoped, so I called the hotel in advance. The staff member informed me that the shuttle driver had already finished his shift for the night and offered to pick us up personally. After getting off the train, I called him and he promptly came to pick us up. I expected him to come by car, but to my surprise, the young man walked over. He enthusiastically helped us with our luggage – we had three suitcases and two very heavy backpacks. There was no elevator, and he carried everything up and down the stairs by himself. He was incredibly diligent, efficient, and friendly. Upon reaching the hotel, he was dripping with sweat but still immediately poured us some water. I was truly touched by his kindness. I believe his name tag read Liu Haoyu. He truly deserves a huge shout-out! The hotel owner should really value such an employee! The hotel facilities are very new, and the service is nothing short of excellent. The value for money is truly exceptional! The next day, we stayed at the Wanda Realm, and its hardware wasn't as good as this hotel's (apart from having a bathtub). The room window there was also very small, but we left early in the morning, so it didn't really affect us. Our sincere thanks once more to Mr. Liu. We are deeply grateful!

The hotel boasts an excellent location. A wonderful staff member at the front desk thoughtfully prepared a detailed travel guide, and the hotel has also designed unique cultural souvenirs. This truly showcases the establishment's deep commitment and love for the city, reflecting the inherent quality of a high-end brand. The view from the window is stunningly picturesque: the sunset casts a dazzling glow upon the Songhua River. Sun Island is visible in the distance, and the cable car floats gracefully across the river in the clear blue sky – all these sights are easily enjoyed just by stepping out of the hotel. A leisurely stroll along the riverbank, admiring Harbin's unique Chinese Baroque architecture, effortlessly leads you to attractions like Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. Indulging in long-missed Guobaorou, Dazhazi porridge, and Harbin Red Sausage, it's clear that Harbin and Shangri-La form the perfect combination for a refreshing summer retreat.

The hotel boasts an excellent location. Its European-style decor, which a staff member informed me was French-inspired, gave it a truly grand and opulent feel. We were welcomed with complimentary fruit and afternoon tea. Breakfast was lavish, offering both Chinese and Western options, including freshly roasted sausages and, surprisingly, a whole leg of lamb! Just 50 meters to the right upon exiting, you'll find yourself in the prime area of Central Street, surrounded by countless restaurants offering a vast selection of Chinese and Western cuisine. For lunch, we sampled Madieer Western Restaurant. St. Sophia Cathedral and the Songhua River banks are also conveniently just over a 10-minute walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile. They even gave us candies as a thoughtful farewell gift. Highly recommended!

Excellent customer services provided by the hotel team especially the manager Eric who assisted us for more than beyond during our stay. Our kids enjoyed the hot spring facilities and services in the hotel, but not the private bathtub in our room. Wish the customer staff in the front desk or belt boys should have known or are being trained well about the daily schedule of airport shuttle bus. Anyway, we had a memorable experience of indoor and outdoor hot springs and great time during our 3-day stay!

An absolutely wonderful stay. After days of subpar breakfasts at a B&B in Changbai Mountain, our three-day stay at Meilun Meihuan was a delight. Not only were the breakfasts delicious, but we also enjoyed afternoon tea and late-night snacks. Dining on the 25th floor with a panoramic view outside was utterly relaxing. There was a minor hiccup during one late-night snack service: my son had bought a tied pork hock from Zhonghua Baroque Street that required self-heating. Its tricky preparation ended up holding up a young chef in the kitchen from serving fries to other guests, unfortunately leading to a public complaint... Despite this, the young chef kept smiling, apologized profusely, and expedited the service. I truly felt for him. As for the room, we were upgraded from a city view to a river view. It featured a spacious 2.4 x 2-meter bed and a 1.6-meter sofa bed, providing ample comfort for our family of four. My husband needed to work during the day, and this upgraded room also boasted a rather secluded balcony with excellent views. If it weren't for the kids needing to return to school soon, I would have loved to extend our stay for several more nights! Our family also adored the room's minimalist American decor. Just check out the photos! Meilun Meihuan is conveniently located right next to Central Street, making travel a breeze. In the evening, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the sunset glow. Downstairs, shopping, strolling, taking the cable car, and catching a taxi were all incredibly convenient. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Harbin. It was the perfect finale to our summer family trip! 😍

I had an amazing time, of course Sofitel never disappoints! 💜 The facilities were up to par, the food was exquisite and the service was top-notch. Everything was quite impressive, from the in-room dining experience to the indoor fitness center. The room was decorated free of charge at my request and spa packages were reasonably priced.

The hotel does very little to communicate and fully explain in detail to their guests when they check in, we did not know that the hotel was offering dinner to their to its guest on the day of our arrival, we had to ask around, and in so doing it seemed as though we where trying to get crush for a free dinner, the package we booked for had an executive lounge happy hour and light dinner, we had to prove ourselves that we had booked and paid for a package deal. The hotel really needs to improve on their service and alert their guests on what is happening in the hotel so as to avoid embarrassing and unnecessary confusion. The room was clean, but the amenities offered are not up to par. The air conditioner was not making the room cool enough. The room was hot, and the air was tight. The food was good and we were satisfied, this was the best part for my family and I, we where actually skeptical thinking that it's going to be all Chinese but surprisingly we ate more than we anticipated for. The hotel is a good hotel. Would i recommend someone to go and stay there? Yes! But they need to seriously improve on communication and overall service towards their guests, especially foreign guests who want to try out Chinese cuisines, you need to raise the bar and look for service providers who are bilingual so as to facilitate a good service. And please add more pastry recipes to your menu 😋

I changed several hotels in Harbin in a few days, and I like this one the most!! The room is big enough, and the Ice and Snow World is just across the road, which is so convenient. You know, after a tiring day, it’s so nice to have a hotel so close! They gave me souvenirs, which turned out to be earmuffs! Gloves! Warm baby!!! So thoughtful, it’s a lifesaver to bring them to the Ice and Snow World. You know, I didn’t bring gloves, but gloves are so important, my hands are really cold!! The interior of the hotel is also good, very atmospheric, I strongly recommend everyone to come here!!!
