We really enjoyed the stay at the Allerton. The check-in/checkout was very easy. The 2nd floor bar and cafeteria was a great option for a late night drink. The only complaint was the size and speed of the elevators. It took a little too much time when checking out. Overall, a great experience!

The hotel is in a convenient location and the price is relatively affordable. Upon check-in, they offered cookies, which was a nice and thoughtful touch. However, the room facilities were quite outdated, and the air conditioning was very noisy, making it difficult to sleep at night. Additionally, the bathroom floor lacks an extra drain, so when showering, water tends to spill out of the bathtub, and cleaning it up is a hassle.

The facilities are first-rate, the public security is good, and the circuit load of the newly built hotel is good. The day before, a hotel next door with the same price had unstable voltage when a hair dryer was plugged in. The price is several hundred yuan more expensive than the same five-star hotel. The room area is much larger, and it is equipped with a microwave oven, induction cooker, and oven. If I come to Chicago again, I will vote for Trump.

The hotel boasts an excellent downtown location, perfect for shopping and close to major attractions with convenient transportation. The service was superb. We didn't have our credit card, and a staff member went above and beyond, using his personal credit card to resolve the deposit issue and help us complete the check-in process smoothly. We are truly grateful for his incredible help! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago.

Stayed here for our trip to Medieval times. It was near the venue. Staff were friendly and gave cookies for each room. I was disappointed that they didn't have the room I requested available and so had to stay in a different type of room.

I stayed here one night for a concert The room was ok, nothing special for the price. The hotel is in a great neighborhood, and check in was a breeze. The staff was friendly and showed me to my room. However, checkout is stated at 11am. Ten minutes before checkout, the staff was banging at my door rushing me to get out because the next guest was already there. In all other experiences, when I arrive at a hotel early before check-in, they don’t go rush to kick the guest out of my room before their designated checkout time. I drop my bags off and enjoy whatever place I’m visiting and go to my room later. I don’t see why this was necessary and put a sour end to my stay.

Everything was fine, but the restaurant was closed for a private event at dinner so I ate at the bar. Gym is split in to 2 locations which I found a bit odd!

We called receptionists twice within 1 hour at night requesting for blanket, he said yes, and ignored my request. Can you leave your guest with no blanket overnight? What a hotel can offer such service?

JJamesI always book here even if it’s more expensive because they have the best team of people there who have helped me travel with ease on a regular basis so so much. I was in a wheelchair for a while and they were the only hotel who has staff that went out of their way to accommodate me and treated me like family. Andrea Dina and Joe are the best people I’ve ever had at any hotel stay. My very first stay at this location was because they had larger rooms but I went back over and over because of just how well they treated me during my first stay. I wasn’t treated as a burden and they didn’t leave me alone to figure anything out even before I got through the doorway Dina was there to get me through and my very large luggage as I rotate multiple times a year living in South America 50% of the time. She was so friendly I ended up calling her my Chicago mom. Andrea and Joe at the front desk were just amazingly nice (which isn’t common in a large city at an airport convention hotel) they helped me print out Covid and travel documents I needed and brought them to my room because I forgot them and wouldn’t have been able to fly without those documents. Dina got me up to my room and even helped me unpack what I needed for the night and made sure I securely could get into the bed and she picked me up the next morning without me calling them ahead of time she asked me my flight time and said she would handle it and be there to fetch me on time. She made sure I got my breakfast bag and loaded me up onto their shuttle all in perfect time never making me feel like a burden even though I knew how far out of their way they went for me. Every stay has been the exact same or better as they noticed the progress with my health and walking. I just can’t say enough how much I appreciate that team. This stay a friend came with me and he loved how they remembered me a received me as you would receive family you haven’t seen for while so he was impressed and also my mother was impressed the two times she stayed there also. This stay they had construction on the restaurant which is very good as I tend to order room service a lot they have a happy hour even though I don’t really drink but it’s just a generally friendly warm environment the staff bring to that place that make it a hotel that you return to even if they don’t have the cheapest rates for the airport stays. They have a great team and their management needs to know that. I don’t normally write reviews or go out of my way to write a note to a corporation about staff but I have for this team at this location they are just great and deserve recognition!

SsknoseyThe free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating. There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm. There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

GGuest UserThe location is very good. It is right by the Riverwalk of Chicago. The room is big and clean. However, the service is not up to the standard. When we were in thd room, we found that the body wash is empty but when we call the service desk, they told us that all the service workers were returned home. We have to wait until the next morning.

GGuest UserWhen we first walked in, their was someone standing at the front desk waiting to greet us, unlike most hotels where you have to wait around for somebody's help. We received cookies, which were a pleasant surprise, extremely delicious, and warm. Check in was really easy, the person at the front desk was very pleasant we could tell she liked her job, she was also efficient and fast. The room was very clean and didn't smell like pets or cigarettes, like most hotel rooms do even though they say they are non smoking. We did notice the furniture was outdated and heavily used; however it is  expected, because it is a hotel room. We did not come to sit in the room and look at the 4 walls, we wanted to experience the amenities the hotel provides.     I walked in with low expectations because every hotel I've been to with a pool and a hot tub one or the other does not work. This is even after calling the hotel before booking a reservation we end up being disappointed. I was extremely satisfied when both the pool and hot tub were operational and clean. The pool towels were actually on the deck so you didn't have to go to the front desk to get them. There was an incident at the pool with 3 young teens who couldn't handle a certain kind of substance and the one ended up vomiting and all the girls ran away with out reporting it. When we called the front desk they came quickly and cleaned it up. There was a small fitness center off to the side of the pool and was well kept and clean.  Breakfast was organized, the food was cooked in variation, which I enjoyed, because I do not like my food overdone. The waiter was super friendly and very attentive to our needs they will definitely have my business again.

JJamesThis place is excellent if you’re a stressed out business traveler, looking for a good rate, and if you’re willing to manage your own transportation from the airport and back, but the amenities after a long late night arrival waking up the next day, sitting in the hot tub having a swim in the pool and a steam and a sauna along with an icy cold shower afterwards just recharges you after a long business trip, especially if you international like me I wouldn’t necessarily call it family friendly, but it’s definitely good for entrepreneur business travel if you can get a good rate otherwise there are other hotels out there if you can’t get a good rate. The rooms are not specifically special compared to the competition, but it’s an a quieter area and the fitness and aquatic amenities are what makes the difference for me as I have back problems and after a long international flight all I wanna do is get in the hot tub or take a steam or sauna. I’m needing an airport shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel and if you aren’t willing to risk having to pay a premium for a car service or Uber then do not book here. I wish I could stay at this hotel long enough to enjoy all of their amenities as they are really good, but as breakfast is not included, it can be a pricey for what you get when you compare it to other hotels in the area and hotels closer to the airport. Yet as long as I can get a good rate on this hotel, I will keep going back as I frequently travel international for work and just having the peace of the secluded area and the steam room and sauna make it a huge selling feature for me as they really assist my rejuvenation after a long day or more of travel.

FFazal IOverall, my recent stay at this hotel was a positive experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to restaurants in walking distance for dining. Despite being so close to these amenities, the hotel itself remained peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided by the hotel was basic but satisfying, with a decent selection of options to choose from. Airport shuttle and price was the main reasons I chose this hotel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations.

MMark E.Overall a good budget suite style hotel to stay at after getting off a long flight. Everything is pretty standard. Interior has typical but dated decoration of that late 90s early 2000s style. The thermostat in the room is probably older than I am (millennial), and its settings were limited with no indication of commanded temperature- just hot or cold. Hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful even when checking in at almost 10pm. And there’s an attached Outback Steakhouse which was a plus when checking in so late and not wanting to go out to get food. I would definitely stay again.

GGuest UserStayed for 3 nights - checked in on a Friday afternoon and out on a Monday morning. Got the ADA room and was mostly okay with it (I never turn down a walk-in shower), but was put off by the fact that there was nowhere to hang clothing and nowhere to place toiletries in the bathroom. Luckily I didn't need to hang anything, but this would have been a problem if I'd brought dress clothes. As for where to put toiletries, I ended up placing the portable shower seat next to the sink and using that surface. Hopefully the seat had been cleaned sometime between someone having their bare butt in it and me using it as a shelf. For the life of me I can't figure out why people design hotel rooms without bothering to know if they'll actually work for staying in. I also wasn't thrilled with the ”breakfast” on offer. Engineered ”omelet” and packaged, processed junk is NOT breakfast. There was absolutely nothing healthy on offer other than fruit - which was the stuff the grocery store didn't want. The good things about the hotel include staff truly striving to satisfy the customer, a clean room (including the carpet), a location within walking distance of many of Quincy's major attractions, and plenty of parking. But the parking lot itself badly needs repaving (it poured one afternoon and my feet and shoes were soaked because of the rivers running through the parking lot). In any event, there are some improvements that could be made, but I enjoyed my stay overall and would put the hotel on my list of places to stay should I return to the area in the future.

GGuest UserThis hotel seemed a good value but we had a major issue. After several tries, even the staff could not get the key card to work. Another room was provided but unfortunately, we could not access medication, feminine hygiene products, toiletries, food/water. I deducted points from the service score as we were left without updates as to when maintenance would assist us. Trip customer service reported that nobody would answer the phone when they tried to assist us. It was not until I inquired that were were informed were would be locked out until the next morning. As a result, I had to go out and purchase necessities. Despite the cost and inconvenience all Trip.com offered was $5 in coins, which is unacceptable. The hotel said they would refund to our card but since we booked Trip the couldn't do anything. That said, the staff was courteous and professional, one staff member even loaned us a phone charge cable which was appreciated. The room itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and this was the best part of the stay. Breakfast: I don't recommend the breakfast. The offerings were very similar to other hotels but preparation seems to be the weak link. For example, the sausage appeared to have just thawed and was colder than room temp. The eggs were watery with brown chunks in them, perhaps from scorching the bottom. TLDR: Our needs were minimal and without our difficulties with the key cards and breakfast this would have been a good value. It's concerning that a hotel doesn't have a way to access a room in an emergency scenario.
