"It was an excellent stay at Scarman for me. The room I stayed in was clean, quiet and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel has a good range of food for breakfast and the selection of food for lunch & dinner was not huge but the food was delicious. I went to the University of Warwick to attend my son's graduation which the venue for the ceremony was within walking distance. To sum up, I am impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay here again."

"We chose this hotel, about a 30-minute drive from home, for a one-night stay so the kids could go swimming. They were so excited before we even left. After checking in, we rushed to the pool, only to be told that children weren't allowed after 6 PM and could only use it after 9 AM the next morning. However, check-out was at 11 AM, which left very little time. So, I contacted Trip.com customer service to request a late check-out. During the first call, the hotel said they would charge £10 per hour for late check-out. We expressed our dissatisfaction, and thanks to Trip.com's proactive coordination, the hotel finally agreed to a free two-hour late check-out for both rooms. The kids had a fantastic time the next morning, which was a huge plus. The hotel is newly renovated, and the overall facilities are quite good for a UK hotel. Dinner was also decent, though the steak was a bit disappointing. Luckily, the waitstaff were very friendly and didn't charge us for it. IHG's service philosophy was generally well-reflected. However, the hotel seemed a bit understaffed. There were only two people at the front desk, so checking in required a bit of a wait. After check-in, no one showed us to our rooms, and the layout was a bit confusing, making it easy to get lost. I hope the hotel can improve in this area in the future. Also, it would be even more appealing if they could add some family-friendly room types."

"Enjoyed our stay. Aaron at reception was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was great with full English breakfast options as well as a variety of cereal, freshly baked croissants and other pastry as well a Nutella pump which my son thoroughly enjoyed"

"The staffs are very friendly, the hotel is very welcome to the guests,hiper clean, quite difficult to find because Birmingham is a big City, however the local people around are very friendly and informative. The hotel is not far from Birmingham New Street train station, about 16 minutes away, what I noticed is that Birmingham City Centre have places opened 24 hours and I really recommend for anyone."

"Lovely staffs, It felt warm when a staff greeted me in the morning with a bright smile, the room was tidy in the morning when I got back. Room very clean, toilet and bath was clean as well. Had no concerns felt very safe. I would definitely recommend to use. Rooms are big and convenient."

"The location isn’t that close to new street as it says. The room was quite small with no bathroom. There was only a shared bathroom which I didn’t like. Staff were nice checking in, however, when checking out they seemed slightly rude in tone."

My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing visit. The check-in process was smooth, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and inviting. I also appreciated the good value for money and the convenience of having all the city’s amenities within walking distance. I would happily recommend Britannia Hotel Coventry to anyone visiting Coventry for business or leisure and would certainly consider staying here again in the future."
