Hotels With Bar in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea

((No links in this one, Tripadvisor!)) The most recent English review for this hotel/resort is 5 years old, so I will add a new one. (Just a bit of background: I'm a world-traveller that has stayed in everything from 5-star hotels to shoddy Airbnb's.) Check-in (1) This process went pretty smoothly, although the front desk staff's English seemed to be a bit lacking. Make sure that you ”get a number” at the electronic panel in front of the front desk when you want to check-in or check-out (left side of panel is check-in and right side is check-out). (2) Our booking did not include breakfast, but during check-in you are given coupons to save a bit of money if you plan on paying for breakfast anyways. (3) During check-in, the staff will give you some other details about opening hours for the facilities at the resort. My wife and I booked a room here for a 3-night July staycation. Originally, we booked ”Cloud9 Ocean View Family Room with Double bed”. What is missing from many of the booking websites is a picture of the bathroom. It's actually a jacuzzi with a corded showerhead instead of a bathtub. The layout of the room is kind of moon-shaped, and my wife and I both didn't find it very cozy. We didn't like our Double bedroom's layout or its quite worn-down furniture (room #733), so we went back downstairs to ask about other rooms. We were invited to take a look at a ”Cloud9 Ocean View Family Room with 2 Single beds”. The front desk called up to the housekeeping staff, and let them know that we were coming up to check out that replacement room, so apparently this is a common request or adjustment to bookings. The layout of this latter room was more to our liking -- definitely a more standard hotel room layout. The ”single” beds were both pretty big, each maybe halfway in size between a full and a queen. The furniture was also far less worn. Since my wife and I aren't big people, and could easily fit on one bed, we took the replacement room. (If I were to give advice, I would go ahead and book the Double bedroom and see if you like it. If not, I think the staff is happy to move you to the other layout.) Both Ocean View's were good enough, with plenty of light. (Six more comments: (a) The lobby is nice enough. All-marble as the pictures show, gives the hotel a slightly more upscale feel compared to all the other hotels/resorts within a 30-minute driving radius. (b) Each floor of the hotel apparently has one microwave. So you can buy stuff in the supermarket and warm it up. Each room also has a kettle. (c) All rooms are equipped with a can of bug spray. If my wife and I go back to this hotel, since we live in Korea, we may bring our bug zapper. However, the patio screen doors are in great shape and we had no bug problem during our 3 night stay. (d) In July 2020, wifi was free and available in all the rooms. The signal was strong enough for me to hold a video Zoom meeting. (e) We didn't have any room temperature p

The city hall and the Pungpaeji Hall were also close and convenient. 🚶♀️🌸 2️⃣ It's a new hotel, so the exterior is really clean and modern. Hotel location is superb - right smack in the middle of all those short hanok houses, giving a wonderful and fabulous hanok view as promised by the room. Why go to expensive rooftop cafes to get the view when you can just wake up to it?? An excellent and cost-effective place to stay if you want to be near all the hanok attractions but don't want to sleep on thin tatami mats on the hard wooden floors!

The room is clean and tidy. The hotel front desk service is warm and patient. They help to call a taxi in the morning. The breakfast is very good, with fresh fruits and a variety of vegetables, including squid, salmon, and fresh and clean vegetables. I highly recommend staying here.

I came to Gunsan for a trip and I really liked the accommodation. It was clean and warm because it was heated. It felt good. The windows were big so it felt open. Good, good.

An acquaintance of mine in Japan wanted to go to Jeonju Village, so he made a reservation and went. He said that the hotel condition and staff service were all good. However, it is only about 18 minutes from Jeonju Village, so it would be nice to walk there on a clear day, but he said that this weekend was difficult because of the snow and strong wind.

The facilities were clean and the breakfast was well prepared. Coffee is delicious, bottled water can be used without limitation, and if you go to the toothbrush toothpaste sampurin lotion, everything is prepared carefully. I came after a good day off.

There was a styler in the room, so it was easy to manage clothes during the trip. - There was a drum washing machine and induction, but I didn't use them. 4. The breakfast was also the best value for money, and I personally don't eat the small bulgogi that comes with breakfast, but it was so delicious that I ate it twice. - I made a reservation for breakfast when I checked in, and it was 16,900 won per person. 5. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste, but shower gel/shampoo/conditioner/slippers/dryer/tea and coffee/2 bottles of water were provided. - It's a smart TV, so Miracast is possible.

Xinsang Hotel. Room condition is the best. It is close to Jeonju Nanjiang, Hanok Village and Fengnian Festival and the main store, so it is the best location to enjoy Jeonju Hanok Village. There is an air dresser in the room, so there was no problem even if I went to the delicacy ~ The boss of the mupo gold clock who recommended the flower heart ~ Thank you ^^ 👍

Très bonne infrastructure,très bon staff accueillant et serviable,chambre confortable,mais exécrable système de restauration…l’unique « café » de l’hôtel,sensé étre ouvert jusqu’à 10 heure du soir et last order 9 heure,ferme selon le bon-vouloir de l’employé à 8 heure ou 8 h30 PM et vous prie d’allez manger dans votre chambre…du jamais vu dans un hôtel de cette classe,nulle part en Asie. L’employé décide lui-même de l’heure de fermeture.Un réel mépris du client. There is also a kids pool, so I had fun playing with my nephew. There are various events such as review events and coffee coupons. It was even better! The room was clean and comfortable. Next time I come to Jeonju, I think I will choose to stay here.

The Enbridge Hotel, just next to Hanok Village, Jeonju, is a new hotel opened last year and looks out from the room with a balcony and you can see a pretty bridge. You can overlook the bridge from the room above the third floor, and we were assigned to the second floor and the maple tree kindly covered the bridge. Unnecessary kindness...There is a small road in front of the hotel, but it is quiet because there are not many traffic. Overall, the hotel is very tidy and seems to have been very concerned with ventilation. Also, parking is small, but you don't have to worry about parking because the staff comes down to the underground parking lot at the same time as the guests arrive and solves the parking problem smoothly and quickly.

Wow, the room was full of everything one would wish for! It is exactly the same as room description says and even more. The check in was fast. Simple breakfast was served free of cost. Plenty of convenience shops and cafes nearby. Mind that it is quite far from the center but only 15 min walk from train station which is very useful for tourists.

It's a 'hotel', not a motel! Maybe that's why the room condition and bedding were definitely different from motels! These days, many lodging establishments lack parking spaces, but this was nice because there was plenty of parking space. Famous restaurants, Olive Young, theaters, Hanok Village, etc. are all within walking distance! 100% intention to visit again! ah! The staff were also friendly!

The rooms are not very clean, but not bad. If you are sensitive to cleanliness, consider it. The staff is friendly and hard working but lacking. I feel like I'm short of staff compared to work. Breakfast is too simple and a bit empty. It's about bread and juice, so it's not suitable for those who have a lot of breakfast. The surrounding scenery is good, there are many places to walk, and the environment is good. There are fewer parking spaces, so if you arrive late in the peak season, you have to park illegally around.

Extended my stay. Front desk are so helpful to keep me in the same room. Very clean and tidy room. Front desk is super helpful and caring. Room is warm, comfy with big screen TV. Sufficient water and towels are provided everyday. The hotel is located very near to Buan Bus Terminal. Will definitely stay here again if i go to Buan.

I really enjoyed my trip to Gunsan with my in-laws. The rooms were facing each other, so it was comfortable, and the elevator was really fast and I didn't have to wait long, which was great. ^^ The staff was also friendly and I was running low on bottled water, so I tried to buy 4 bottles in the lobby, but they just gave me 2. .I drank all night and went to sleep, so I was thirsty in the morning, so I drank the entire bottle of water per person. LOL The location is close to places to visit, so there was no problem in planning the course.

It is a suitable location about 10 to 15 minutes by car from downtown Gunsan. But it's in a bit out of the way. Unattended check-in and check-out. The room and overall facilities were well maintained. If you wish, you can order toast for breakfast if you order in advance. right price. There is an unmanned convenience store on the first floor. Overall, I'm satisfied, but the room I stayed in had no door to the bathroom and only had curtains, so I was a bit embarrassed. Other than that, I think it's a great place for a great price. Willing to book again.

We stayed in this rather remote location because of it's strategic location to visit major touristic locations. The hotel has a good price compared to others on the same neighborhood. The room was clean and everything worked well. Everything looks new like the hotel was just made a couple of months ago! The next day we had a fabulous breakfast in the morning. The only thing missing was yogurt. An excellent stay! :)

The boss is very friendly and clean. It is shared, but it also provides a separate washing machine, so it seems that it can be used conveniently for those who need it. Breakfast is provided, but it's not a gorgeous 5 star hotel buffet breakfast, Korean food (soup, rice, side dishes), cup noodles by type, bread and jam, fresh cream. It was a breakfast with a hearty feeling, such as fried eggs, milk, coffee, etc. If you go to Gunsan again, you have a doctor to reuse.

I often go on business trips to Gunsan, and this was my first time using this hotel. It was relatively clean, parking was easy, and they prepared snacks, so it was convenient to use^^

I didn't have a downtown room because I was in a hurry to book on the weekend, but it takes more than 20 minutes from downtown. The bedding and bed were good and I felt a little narrow. Three bottles of water are prepared for free, and the price was good because there were all basic things.

청결: 일단 깨끗하구요, 깨끗합니다. 머리카락 하나 없구요. 화장실 깨끗합니다. 그리고 깨끗해요. 취침: 사장님께서 소음이 조금 있을 수도 있다고 하셨고, 방에 귀마개도 여러개 있더라구요. 취침: 근데 조용해서 꿀잠 잤습니다. 에어컨도 시원하게 잘 나와요. 조식: 공용 공간에서 조식을 먹을 수 있는데, 토스트와 시리얼이 있는데 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 공용공간도 너무 예쁘게 꾸며져 있습니다. 조식: 맞다. 진라면(매운맛) 소컵, 컵스프, 커피머신, 믹스커피 등도 비치되어 있습니다. 짱짱 마무리: 다음에 군산 올 때 또 오고 싶은 숙소 입니다.
