Great hotel & staff Previously a marriott so rooms are of very good quality the hotel is is a little run down in places but are you really bothered at this price! It's certainly cheaper and cheerful, free WiFi, free parking, food is expensive but there's more options across the road. Leisure club is £5 extra

Best bed ever! Very comfortable linens, mattress and pillows! Towels were a bit old but very clean! The swimming pool is just good… kind of cold but a little warm, but not enough! So it is not comfortable being on the jacuzzi at all… and every 5/7 minutes, have to get out of the water to restart the engine… Saunas and spa were really good! Breakfast was very good with lots of varieties that we don’t see often in hotel in the UK. Fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, breads and all the hot british breakfast dishes. Near a lot of restaurants and shopping locations Would be back again to this same place

Booked this hotel due to attending a family party nearby then flying off on holiday and so glad I did. Lovely hotel with great amenities especially the spa, lovely treatments. What makes the hotel - the staff, they are so welcoming, polite and can’t do enough for you. Thank you for a very relaxing stay 😊

The hotel was absolutely amazing. The room was very clean and the breakfast was superb. The location was very good. We were very satisfied with everything. One thing that we need to point out was the politeness of one of the receptionists at the hotel. We were not treated politely, which was disappointing considering the standard of the hotel. But everything was nice. I suppose it wasn't directly related to the hotel, but it was just that specific staff member that did not not really meet the standard of an IHG hotel.

The location of this hotel is very good. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the bustling shopping mall pedestrian street. The hotel room is exactly the same as the picture. It is very clean and the staff is also responsible for asking you whether to clean the room every day. Every time I come to Newcastle It’s all set in this hotel, and the price is very good.
