Good overall, just needs to be a bit cleaner. It also gets pretty loud at night. You can hear a loud noise every time someone opens their door, which is really disruptive. Someone should definitely look into that. Otherwise, it’s a nice location
Convenient airport shuttle, nice room, efficient service, and excellent breakfast. After a long flight this was exactly what I needed. I will choose this location every time i fly now - really enjoyed it.
Hotel staff are friendly, the hotel and room was clean.
The complimentary breakfast was good with bottomless coffee.
My room was clean but the shower sucked, and the plate glass shower doors were jammed and very difficult to move, also lacked an air vent.
The room didn’t have any air conditioning and the thermostat on the wall didn’t control anything!??
It was a very neat and cozy hostel. I went alone and used the room, but it was wider than I thought and the amenities were good. There is also a shuttle bus to the airport, so it's very comfortable. ㅎㅎ

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I had arrived earlier than expected and I was able to check in right away.
The King room had a great view of downtown Edmonton.
I enjoyed the business lounge access with evening aperitifs, the view of the city from the lounge and it was amazing to watch the sunset in the evening.
Having breakfast included in my room rates was a great addition to the booking as it was convenient for me. You can also watch the sunrise if you get to the lounge early enough to get a seat by the window while having your breakfast there.
Very friendly/helpful staff, quick check in process, crystal clean room, very nice bathroom and extremley comfy beds 20/10 would stay again and will book next time coming through. Stayed at 6 different hotels on my trip and this was by far the best

GGuest UserGood location for me to visit clients in Downtown. Stayed here for 2 nights, the queen room was clean & comfortable; devices in the room worked well.
The check-in staff was polite and great to deal with. it will be better if they can provide free breakfasts.
HhongpowerIt takes about 20 minutes by Uber from Edmonton Airport. It cost about 33 bucks. There is also a Korean restaurant nearby... It is not a walkable distance. All schedules were handled by Uber. The sound of the air conditioner in the room… . It's so big... I turned it off when I went to sleep.
GGuest UserNot our first time staying here -but we left with a sense of frustration today!
It began when the front desk couldn’t find our reservation - twice ! (despite a phone call 2 hours prior to check in). Had to take my driver’s licence and go “somewhere to talk to someone in the back” - then he came back (after 2 or so
minutes) and “magically” the reservation had been found. Unnerving for my identification to disappear from my sight. No explanation offered.
Frustrated again at check out when the desk clerk tried to charge us for something from the snack bar in our room - we had literally left our room 2 minutes before. Couldn’t tell us what item we had “consumed” (we hadn’t consumed anything - especially at those prices!) and then when asked how they could possibly know within 2 minutes (of us leaving our room) that an item had been consumed - they became very defensive and couldn’t actually answer the question of “how do you know what to charge us for” and the response was “it’s for the report at the end of the day - no one is saying you actually took anything”. Except that’s exactly what the desk clerk said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”.
After challenging the charge we were told that no charge would be put through on the credit card.
Made to feel like we had “stolen” something when we asked for further clarification on the charge.
“No apologies or thank you for staying with us”.
Disappointing.
Side note - Service in the casino was great - including the restaurant.

MMichelle BillingtonI always enjoy my stay at Deerfoot Inn & Casino. The purpose of my trip was to hang out with my sister and catch up on our lives. The deluxe queen room was spacious and welcoming. I found a stain on the top sheet when the cover topper fell away. Just looked like a coffee stain, but jeez?! We went down to the buffet for supper, and the prime rib and scalloped potatoes were delicious, as well as the other entries. After we ate, we sat in the lounge next to the restaurant. I loved the big, comfortable chairs we chose to sit on. When I got up to use the ladies' room, my hips were out of sorts for several steps because the chairs are sitting too low. May I suggest they update the furniture as I noticed other older guests having the same issue.
黄黄家庭The location of the hotel is good with perfect access to the town. There is a supermarket named IGA which is about 8 mins walk. The cave pool is amazing which gives us a relaxing experience. The room is spacious with 2 levels. The upper level is bedroom while the lower level is dining room with a small kitchen. However, room service needs to be improved as there is no cleaning for one day during our stay. Facial tissue doesn't refill after using up.
PPaul JosephGreat price, great location, Pick up call was quick. The vehicle was well used, but driver was fantastic and helpful.
Desk staff, bar staff were top notch. The breakfast was decent and the staff we very attentive. Gym is 24hr and great cardio. Pool was nice after the gym., but unfortunately the hot tub jets were broken.
We will stay there again.
GGuest UserWe love the hotel’s location. Most of the attractions in downtown Calgary are just walking distance. The check in went smooth and fast, the front desk personnels are quite friendly, helpful and accommodating (especially Catherine). There are also many restaurants nearby. We loved our stay at the hotel.
GGuest UserHotel waa situated in a very convenient location in downtown Calgary. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and another plus point is that the breakfast is good
CCKWtripThe Ptarmigan Inn is located in the center of the Banff downtown. It is minutes of walk to numerous dining and shopping options. Parking can be difficult around town. The hotel offers free shuttle passes and the bus stops are just one block away. It also offers free parking and we had no problem to find a space during our stay (July 2025). Other reviewers mentioned about parking space problem but the parking space issue only applies to the skiing season when mostly people arrive with a car. Our room was in good size and came with a balcony.
The only complaint I had was that our room was right next to the elevators and the noise from elevators was quite annoying. The elevator is a bit old and makes loud noise. In addition, there are people talking loudly by the elevator in the morning.
