The Hotel has great staff and fabulous location to the airport! The staff are without exception professional and friendly! Very impressed! The spa pool area with a bar and food service onsite is world class. In fact that facility is worth the visit and I certainly will be back! The restaurant also fabulous and a Michelins star restaurant is part of this great hotel! The one thing I do not understand, why not give one free bottle of water to the vary world traveller paying top dollars to stay. There is zero water unless you pay 6euro for a bottle! Bathroom is extremely important to me, so I’m glad that it is well maintained. It’s small for me (170cm) but I had no problems doing my business. I stayed on the 6th floor and there’s a 4 man sized elevator. The area is convenient, theres restaurants along the streets and around the block. There’s also a convenience shop that’s open till 1am right beside this hotel. There’s no aircon but they provide a huge Asian floor fan ❤️.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Munich, and I was thoroughly impressed! The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast—delicious, affordable, and offering a great variety. From freshly baked bread and pastries to tasty local dishes, everything was perfectly prepared. The coffee was excellent, and the overall atmosphere in the breakfast area was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the essentials provided. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Munich that doesn’t compromise on quality, especially when it comes to breakfast, this is the place for you! I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Not much to expect out of this hotel except for the location. The Italian lady who checked us in was very nice. Can’t say the same for the Turkish guy who refused to let us have the vacant room because it was before 3 pm.

First of all, we stayed for 2 nights. Our room was very nice and clean. Thank you Ms. Monica. - The rooms have a wardrobe, television, nightstand. - The bathrooms were big enough and clean. There is toilet paper. - The staff is very attentive and helpful. - Internet is very fast - Teas and coffees are free downstairs and this is a great gesture. -Transportation to everywhere is very easy, you can walk to the square in 10 minutes. -If you want to come to the airport, you can take S1-S8. Be careful before you get on the S1, it should say airport in front of it, there is another S1 going to another place. Breakfast in the morning, -Hotel Amba from 7 to 10 pm on the 1st floor. It's a nice and clean hall. - Breakfast items such as butter, cream cheese, cereal, orange juice, coffee, eggs, bread, cheese, etc. To summarize, it was far beyond our expectations and we were satisfied. Thank you.

The hotel was just what we needed for our city break. The rooms were on the small side to other holiday inns but we only needed it for a place to stay. It is attached to a holiday inn which meant we could use the bar in that hotel which was great. The only downside was they didn’t seem to have enough cutlery or cups at breakfast time and the food wasn’t replenished quick enough but that maybe down to the hotel being fully booked out whilst we were there. It’s a short walk to the nearest train station and only a 15 minute ride to the main square.

Location is very close to Munich Hbf,just across the road. Shared kitchen was well equipped. Our room has ensuite toilet.. But was quite small. You will need to put on the bed sheet, pillow case, etc your side, and at the end of trip, u will need to bring everything down to the laundry cart. They have happy hour at the bar.. Music play thru out the night till 2plus am. Extended check out time after 10am will be extra euro per pax which I think is very reasonable. Cleaner came into room at around 10am, everyday. There was once we will still in our room, we got a shock, as she did not knock the door, just open with her access card. Only then we realised she came everyday. Overall quite nice. If u are looking for budget accommodation, can consider. Btw, we are a group of 4 gers,having the room to ourself, so no experience about mixed sharing dorm.

Got bug, location surround with the Arab restaurant , service wise not good, not allow to keep luggage at the hotel ,lag of hair dryer and toothbrush etc

Very nice and new hotel, even though it is outside of the city, the tram 19 is very convenient. Extra thing i really liked that the minibar was included, and filled up daişy. Really recommend

Love the building, design and the location (the physical / hard part). The soft part (people), more efforts required. They misplaced 1 of my luggage and I need to beg them to find it (as if I was lying that I have 3 begs). They pushed me around, asked me to go and ask ”that guy at the door” and asked me to go to the luggage storage room even after I clearly described my beg (not with a typical colour). And apparently, the beg was at the reception behind the counter. Wasting 1 to 2 hours.

Hotel is in a good location. It is just opposite central railway station. Room is clean. Breakfast is excellence. Honey at the hotel is one of the best honey that I have ever had before.

We booked an executive suite, which was a decent size. It was two interconnected rooms (with two bathrooms). We added a bed in the living room as requested, but we charged an extra bed fee. The room facilities were old, but the maintenance was OK. The air conditioner switch was a very old dial. Noise and bathroom drainage were no problem. Clean. There were quite a lot of breakfast items, and there were some automatic machines, such as automatic pancake making, jam squeezing and chocolate sauce making, which were quite fun. They also provided food from various countries, processco sparkling wine and other drinks. However, the bad thing was that the service was really not up to this standard. There was no luggage, and the attitude of the front desk was also average. The first time I made a key, I didn't get permission to go to the executive floor. The child had a birthday during the stay, but there was no expression. Don't expect too much. The meals on the executive floor were average, and the drinks were beer and a kind of German red and white wine. The swimming pool and gym were relatively small. As for the location, it is far from the city center, about 15 minutes by tram, which is quite convenient. You can play around if you buy a one-day ticket. There is a British park and a large forest next to it where you can take a stroll.

Munich Magnificent left people speechless. I booked 2 rooms for 2 days on Ctrip for 9.3-9.5. The order clearly included breakfast. When I checked in, there was a girl with dark skin who looked like an Indian at the front desk. She told me that breakfast was not included. I showed my Ctrip order, so she called and asked me to send her the Ctrip confirmation email. After some operations, she told me I can do it. The whole process takes a long time. When I checked out on the 5th, it was the same girl who showed me the breakfast bill in Figure 1, totaling 558 euros. I said that the order included breakfast, so she said that there was a mistake in the breakfast fee for September 5th and she would not charge it. However, the printing time of the breakfast order for the 4th is 11:01, and including lunch, the charge is 332 euros. We pointed out that our order time in the morning was 9:40. Even if breakfast ends at 11 o'clock, using this as an excuse to charge me a lunch fee does not comply with the standards of most hotels. We insisted on asking her to communicate with the hall manager. She said it would take 20 minutes for the hall manager to come over, so we insisted on waiting. At this time, a German girl next to the girl, who was also the front desk, said to her: Cancel this order. German girls speak German. My friend has lived in Germany for 30 years and understands her well. Then the order was cancelled. The whole incident is very illogical. Such a luxurious hotel and such service are so disappointing! !

The waiters in the hotel are all young and courteous with a bright appearance. The corridors of the hotel are in a dark curtain style. The rooms are a bit small and the bathrooms are very well-designed. The breakfast is the best I have ever eaten. Standard, the only complaint is that it is a little far from the station, and the lights in the room will automatically turn off after a period of time due to power saving, which is very annoying

The hotel is in a good location, very close to Maria Square. The hotel feels quite old, and the facilities are barely passable at this level. It is embarrassing that there are no toothbrushes and soap in the room

Excellent service from concierge and reception despite Corona measures! Got an upgrade to a larger room. Unfortunately the hotel bar is still closed, but overall I was very happy with my stay.

The location is really convenient. You can take S8 from the airport to City Hall Square and it's only a two-minute walk away. The room design is really homely. However, the shower water temperature was unstable and the water pressure was not good. After a few hours, they gave us another room to shower. An engineer came to repair it the next day. The service in the restaurant is very good, and I also met a young lady who immigrated to Munich from Shanghai. If there were no cold front desk service and water pressure problems, it would really be a good hotel

Hotel location is good, opposite the door is the botanical garden, there are children playing. Behind a small park is the Technical University of Munich, which is very large and beautiful and fully open. A few hundred meters from the hotel is Karlsplatz, and a short walk away is Maria Square, convenient for shopping.

The location is excellent, 2-3 minutes walk from the DB side door. The breakfast is very good, with many yogurt options, I like it very much. The room facilities are OK, but the hair dryer is not very useful. BTW, the Italian food opposite the hotel is also very good.

Location is opposite the central train station and next to city centre. Hotel has an old vintage flair, if that's your thing. The small room is pretty small but will work for short trips if you don't have a lot of luggage.

The location is perfect hence it is next to the train station. The old city is within easy reach. I haven’t booked breakfast so I can’t tell whether it is good or not. Anyways, there are plethora of cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarkets to have a proper breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly, speaks good English and I particularly liked the smell everywhere at this hotel. All in all and enjoyable stay. I may book it next time going to Nürnberg again.

Very good and clean hotel! Friendly staff and delicious breakfast! The location is good even it’s not in the downtown. The transportation is convenient. It took 15 minutes to get to the downtown from the hotel.

The hotel environment is good, there is a swimming pool, there is a lake nearby, you can run, the weather in September is still good, it is worth a visit, the breakfast is also good. The only thing that may be certain is that the front desk service is average, but this is not uncommon in Germany

People, pay attention: when you get to your rooms, always check the a/c, especially in the summer. It seems this hotel has huge problems with the a/c and the whole management and no matter if the a/c is broken in the rooms, they'll still put you there and charge you the absolutely same amount of money as for a ”normal” room. Absolutely unacceptable for NH Collection, excuse me!! My case: I went to my room and thought everything is ok. 4 hours later I figured out that the a/c doesn't cool down the room, but only the ventilation & heating functions are working. When I complained, the guy at the reception told me: ”I can't do anything right now, you just open your window and tomorrow when the technician can't repair the a/c, your room will be changed”. ***?! Really?! NH Collection?? On the next day they have me another room, where the a/c worked exactly for 24h. On the day I had to check-out, the a/c stopped working as well. The lady at the reception only said: ” Oh, also this room needs to be repaired”. When she opened her list, there were at least 10 rooms marked red with broken a/c. In sum: Never again there!!!

It is located in the center of the old town, making it convenient for sightseeing. However, the town is paved with cobblestones, so moving a large carry-on was quite difficult. The hotel staff were very helpful and I was able to process the check-in smoothly. There were some minor issues, such as the door being hard to close, but the room seemed to have been renovated and was very clean. There was no air conditioning, and the balcony was connected to the next room, so security is important. We were given a room on the second floor (actually the third floor), and the view from the balcony was great. Having bread and coffee at the table outside was great. I didn't have breakfast this time, but I would definitely like to have it next time I visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Wifi was terrible. I checked in and the front desk gave me a room card after a long time. When I opened the door, a man in shorts appeared... I went down to the front desk again and they said that there was probably a problem with the system. Then both of them said sorry without any apology and upgraded my room. I was so tired that I didn't bother to argue with them. The upgraded rooms have the same facilities, but they are larger and have a bathtub in the bathroom.

I like to book this hotel for my stay in Nuremberg. The location is perfect. The rooms are spacious and attractive. The breakfast is OK. For the price, there are cheaper alternatives nearby. Staff are nice

Melter was the best place I stayed in throughout my Germany trip. It was in the centre of the old town, right above the Lorenzkirche U-bahn, 3-5 mins walk from the Hauptbahnof, and only steps away from everything you might need - bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and all the highlights. It's a 10-15 min slightly uphill but beautiful walk to the Castle. The property was extremely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and stylish. Was given an upgrade by Jacqueline (or Jackie) to a studio with a kitchenette overlooking a quaint street; good for cooking. Spacious room, comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom with nice soaps. Only complaint could be that some rooms (216-219) are not accessible by lift, and require a winding (confusing at first) walk through long corridors to reach, but it was OK for me. Laundry room also had detergent provided; gym was adequate. Did not have breakfast, but had lunch twice at Monki downstairs - impeccable ramen. Overall, this would be a great choice when in Nuremberg. Affordable, beautiful, comfortable, and convenient; and lovely staff - everyone of them took great care of me. Even granted late checkout. Will highly recommend this place.
