"Ana Mandara Cam Ranh – Overall a pleasant stay, but some areas need improvement What I liked: * 🌿 Green and peaceful: Lots of greenery and small trees. The overall atmosphere feels more like a peaceful Vietnamese village than a typical hotel/resort. * 🏖️ Easy beach access: The connection to the beach is convenient and not a lengthy walk. * 🌊 Sea-facing villas: The villas facing the sea are pretty nice and would be my preferred choice. * 🛏️ Spacious rooms: Rooms are generously sized and comfortable. * 🍜 Great Vietnamese breakfast: Breakfast has strong and authentic Vietnamese flavours with many local choices. * 😊 Generally helpful staff: Staff are helpful when you actually need assistance. What could be improved: * 🍳 Limited Western breakfast: Not many Western food options compared with the Vietnamese selection. * 🚽 Poor toilet privacy: The toilet is separated only by a very thin linen curtain, which does almost nothing to block toilet sounds. A proper door would be much better. * 🏊 Pool cleanliness: The main swimming pool was a little dusty, with quite a lot of sand at the bottom. * 🥵 Hot check-in area: The check-in/reception area does not have air conditioning, so it can feel quite hot in Cam Ranh weather. * 👋 Staff greetings: Staff rarely say “Hello,” “Good morning,” or “Thank you.” They are generally helpful, but the resort lacks some of the basic greeting and hospitality standards commonly found at international hotels. * 🏞️ Lagoon area: The lagoon section is quite far away and, personally, I didn’t find it particularly attractive. * 🏡 Village rather than resort vibe: This can be either positive or negative depending on your preference. If you expect a polished, luxurious international resort atmosphere, this place feels much more like staying in a landscaped Vietnamese village. Overall: A pleasant and relaxing property with good Vietnamese food, spacious rooms, lots of greenery and convenient beach access. I would recommend choosing a sea-facing villa. There are definitely some details that need improvement, particularly bathroom privacy, pool maintenance, reception comfort and staff greeting standards."

"There were some issues with housekeeping, but they were quickly resolved after a request to the front desk. On the plus side, the location is great, and there's a decent selection at the buffet. Nearby, there's a promenade with spas and cafes. The swimming pool complex infrastructure gets a 3/5. The lazy river wasn't working even during its advertised hours, and the main pool is very shallow, with about 60% being shallow sections only 15-20cm deep. The main part of the pool is around 120-130cm deep. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful view from the balcony. Be prepared for an incredibly shallow entry into the sea; you won't be able to swim at low tide."

"This all-inclusive hotel is awesome! The food variety is great; kids always have something to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have pasta, cutlets, mashed potatoes, and fries. There's a good selection of fruits too, like papaya, watermelon, bananas, apples, dragon fruit, and more. The only thing missing was mango. This is the first hotel we've stayed at on this trip that serves tea from a pot, not disposable bags. During breakfast, lunch, and dinner, there are various drinks available: Americano coffee, Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, green tea, black tea, and other beverages. There are no freshly squeezed juices or smoothies though. In the mornings, there are activities at the pools, including water polo, aqua aerobics, yoga by the pool, darts, and archery for kids every day. Everything runs on schedule. In the evenings, there are discos for children, followed by discos for adults. During the day, there's a foam party at the aqua park with music and drinks. Both pools offer a variety of drinks all day, including alcoholic ones. You can order food from the restaurant to your room. There's also a buffet at another restaurant. The beach has plenty of sun loungers, enough for everyone. The sand is soft, and the sea entry is shallow. About 90% of the guests are Russian. At the reception, there are always two staff members who speak fluent Russian daily. Even if you call reception from your room, they hear Russian speech and transfer you to Russian-speaking staff. The animators are Egyptian guys, but they speak Russian well. There's a shallow pool for toddlers, a large multi-depth pool with slides in the aqua park, and two other large pools on the property – one by the restaurant and another near the shore. The pool water is clean. Towels are provided at all pools and the beach using a card given at check-in. I loved everything! There's always a wide selection of food, including even crocodile and frogs. Kids have plenty to do, and in the evenings, there are discos for adults."

"An excellent place! The bungalow was fantastic, everything was new, beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing. The grounds were very well-maintained and lovely. The sea was nearby, and it was a secluded spot with very few people on the beach. The sunrises were incredible, everything was perfect, and the service was excellent. We were checked in very quickly. I absolutely loved it! 10/10"

"We checked into the hotel for one night. We wanted to escape the noisy Nha Trang and we didn't regret it at all. The staff is very friendly and attentive to guests' requests (we were checked in a couple of hours early into a room with an amazing view). The breakfast is varied... they have everything (lots of fruits, smoothies, pastries) and the waiters serve guests diligently. The beach is clean, wide and almost deserted. I definitely recommend this hotel."

"Although the hotel is a bit far from the city center, the surroundings are absolutely beautiful, making it perfect for tourists who want a seaside vacation. It's not crowded, the scenery is stunning, and you can leisurely watch the sunrise by the sea. Aside from the high price, there aren't many other drawbacks. However, the à la carte restaurant food is expensive and not very good, though the buffet is quite decent."

"Staying in room 5026, the three elevators in the main building felt a bit slow. From the room, facing an unfinished building, you could still catch a partial sea view. Odd-numbered rooms face the pool and sea, offering a great environment. The room decor was a little dated with faux wood-grain floor tiles, and the bath towels were a bit rough, but still usable. There was a front desk staff member who spoke Mandarin. The all-inclusive dining was a great value. Over two days, we ate at both restaurants and tried all the bars. With free-flowing drinks, I eventually just wanted water! There were many Russians and Koreans, a few locals, and very few English speakers. The absence of American tourists meant much less noise, particularly the loud videos during meals and people rushing for food. However, some of the local guests were quite noisy. I even encountered local children who didn't want to return my swimming float. Despite the crowd, the restaurant was well-organized. We happened to be there for the Wednesday pool party, which was lively, and there was a mini disco at night, perfect for kids. The beach environment was also excellent. This place is highly recommended for families, and I'd definitely consider coming back with friends and family."

"This is a really great resort. It's perfect for families. I especially liked that there's a separate kitchen and a bathroom in every room. The only downside is that the Cam Ranh area is far from the city center, which made it a bit inconvenient for enjoying Nha Trang. But other than that, everything else was good."

"I initially booked one night at Duyen Ha Resort, and I loved the service and the beach so much that I decided to extend my stay for another night. After booking the additional night, I was moved to a different room. However, the air conditioning in the new room wasn't working properly. All I wanted was for the hotel to check and fix the AC. I wasn't asking for a room upgrade or trying to make things difficult for the staff. What was truly disappointing, though, was that instead of reassuring and assisting me, the front desk staff immediately said, ”You only paid for that level, so you won't get a room change.” This way of communicating made me feel disrespected, especially since I hadn't even mentioned changing rooms. Furthermore, coordinating the technical support was quite slow. We had to wait for a very long time, to the point where we had to call back and say we no longer needed assistance because it was taking too much time. Fortunately, the technician still came and managed to fix the AC, which was all we needed from the beginning. I still highly rate Duyen Ha's facilities, the beach, and most of its services. However, the hotel should review its procedures and how it trains its front desk staff to handle unexpected situations with guests. A more attentive and supportive attitude would significantly improve the guest experience."

"Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were all so welcoming with warm smiles, and the lady at reception had excellent English. Everyone else was also incredibly helpful and accommodating. This is truly a beach resort, and the surroundings are stunning. The expansive 360-degree lawn is simply beautiful and well worth the price. Lounging under the coconut trees by the beach is the perfect way to spend a vacation. We ate at the Vietnamese restaurant for two nights, and the food was fantastic both times – no disappointments at all. I didn't encounter any of the issues some online reviewers mentioned, like a messy environment or bad attitudes. I give this place an unbeatable five-star review!"
