"The hotel was old but nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice but needs renovating, why can't they put shower curtains up ! Water goes everywhere and takes a long time to dry up. Location is ok for local stuff, but far away from main part of Cam Ranh. Food was good, only thing Was no hot water for tea."

"We ended up booking this hotel last minute after our original place didn’t work out, and it was quite the experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a spectacular view from the balcony. Unfortunately, the wind was really strong, which made it too chilly to enjoy the pool or beach. Breakfast was just okay, but we really struggled during dinner. The hotel has only one restaurant that shares space with other hotels in the complex, which made it feel pretty hectic. We arrived at 7 PM, ordered our food, and then waited about an hour and a half before it started coming out. Many guests were asked to wait in the lobby or come back later because there wasn’t enough room. On the bright side, the food was quite delicious when it finally arrived!"

"We stayed at the Riviera for a few days in June. We liked how we were greeted. We arrived at the hotel at 11:30 AM. There was a Russian-speaking Vietnamese person at the reception who explained everything clearly. They immediately gave us wristbands, so we were able to go for lunch and use all the other facilities (water park, bars, beach). We checked into our room closer to 2 PM. Our room was on the 9th floor, and the view was stunning! The balcony was huge. Everything in the room was clean, the bed was large, and the linen was fresh. We enjoyed the food. There was a huge selection of different cuisines. We particularly liked the BBQ, seafood, and the wide variety of fruits (they served passion fruit, mango, papaya, lychee, and even grapes). There were tons of different desserts. There's food for children of all ages, purees for infants, sausages, french fries, and lots of other healthy and delicious options. Regarding alcoholic beverages: bottled beer, average but drinkable wine, and local spirits. Freshly squeezed juices, coconut water, and smoothies were available at an extra cost. For those traveling with young children, I'd recommend bringing drinks that your child usually has before bed (juices, bio-yoghurts, etc.). We were pleased that there were always available sun loungers on the beach. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The sea was gorgeous. By the way, they offered us a free shuttle to the airport. We definitely recommend this hotel."

"The facilities are new and great. It's very close to the sea, which is a big plus. I only stayed one night before heading to the airport, but it exceeded my expectations. It seems like a great place for a family 'ho-cance' (hotel vacation). However, it has distinct pros and cons. Pros: 1. Excellent facilities. It feels new and clean. 2. The swimming pool, gym, kids' play area, bike and scooter rentals are all well-maintained. 3. The sea is shallow and the scenery is beautiful. Cons: 1. The hotel is difficult to find. It seems like there are multiple resort operators within the same resort complex. Search for ”empyrian resort” (refer to other reviews for more details). 2. There's a hotel downstairs and a condo-style accommodation upstairs. They offer electric car pick-up service when you go between them. The condo-style accommodation has fewer guests, so they don't operate a restaurant, and the reception closes early. Most services are handled at the hotel's reception. 3. There are some restaurants nearby, but not many. Recommended for a family 'ho-cance'..."

"A nice hotel with a private beach. The walk to the sea takes about 10 minutes, but it passes through beautiful grounds and another hotel located on the beachfront. We were sent to this hotel's restaurant for breakfast, which was excellent. Our hotel wasn't full. We were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to a room with a sea view. The grounds of the second, sister hotel are very beautiful. The beach is wide with fine sand, the sea is stunning, and there are sun loungers and umbrellas. The downside is the lack of infrastructure outside the hotel. Dinner must be served at the hotel restaurant or you have to travel to Cam Ranh or Nha Trang. The hotel does have a kitchen, but we didn't eat there. Nha Trang can be reached by taxi or bus 16. The promised free airport shuttle for stays of more than three nights was not provided."

"I really liked the hotel. There are very few Russians, almost none! Mostly Chinese guests, but you barely see them during the day; they swim early in the morning and at sunset! The view is beautiful, sun loungers are always available, and the grounds are very green with many pools. Breakfasts are amazing! Fruits, pastries, pho, eggs – you name it, they have it! You can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel or at the one cafe currently available there. There are many spas and one small shop selling clothes! Everything is still being set up there! It's a 30-minute taxi ride to Nha Trang. This hotel is for a very relaxed holiday, there's nowhere to go out."

"This is a quiet hotel with few children, lots of greenery, and no feeling of noise or crowdedness. The private pool at the villa is good – it's as deep as a regular large pool (1.3m), perfect for a few strokes and a refreshing dip. I liked the lagoon villa; it's spacious, comfortable, and has two bathrooms. Housekeeping is daily, and it's quite clean (though the walls haven't been washed in a long time; it would be good for the cleaning staff to address this). The food – breakfast is decent, but not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel; more like a 4-star. A la carte food is edible but not tasty (I'm glad I didn't opt for half-board, but my friends were disappointed). The complimentary fruit upon arrival was also not tasty. ( Overall, it's a good hotel, not super luxurious, but quite decent."

"”MY 5 STAR REVIEW” - even though the hotel was half full in the middle of the off season...my request for an extra hour past designated checkout of noon was like I'd asked them to reinvent the concept of ”hoteling”. The rather snooty (they all kinda were, and it seems a prerequisite front-of-house hiring policy for Citadineseseses everywhere (cf Singapore)) front of desk lady, sighed and huffed and eventually said ”ok, you can stay until 1pm, if you give us a 5 Star review on Google”. When we duly checked out at 1pm sharp, she asked me to show her the review on my phone. Which of course I hadn't bothered my **** to write. Anyway, finally here it is (thank you for your patience, your hotel isn't important to us): ”3 STARS... thinks it's better than it is, and shouldn't be bribing guests with patheticness in an effort to game the Google rating system. Trust me, there are better places to stay.”"

"This was the most disappointing hotel of our Nha Trang trip, and I have a few points for everyone's reference. First, we booked a sea view room. When we checked in around 4 PM, they told us they only had rooms on the first floor and no higher floors were available because all rooms were full. When we called the manager, he just reiterated there were no rooms, with an attitude that implied 'take it or leave it.' He said they would check for a higher floor room the next day, but they never contacted me. It's true what other reviews say about them being unfriendly to Chinese guests. Secondly, a major drawback is that there's absolutely nothing around. You can only eat at the hotel. Dinner buffet for two adults and one child was 500 RMB, which is extremely expensive for Nha Trang. The dinner buffet was significantly worse than breakfast, not even offering drinks. Third, even during the May Day holiday, there was only one shuttle bus to the city at 11 AM daily. We had to take a taxi to and from the city in the afternoon, which cost 300 RMB round trip. This is completely different from what reviews claimed about having regular shuttle services. Fourth, traveling with a child, we couldn't really experience the facilities of a 'sports-themed' hotel, and the overall vibe was weak. There wasn't much to do; we just spent two days in the pool. It was also very windy, and the pool had no shade, so it was completely exposed to the sun. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel in any aspect. Of course, the price was indeed cheap, but that's all it had going for it. If you have an early flight, it is conveniently close to the airport, about ten minutes away, making it suitable for a one-night stay before catching a flight."
