While spending a week in London, I was looking for a place where I could cook simple meals with my kids and do laundry. I stayed here. The location is safe and the surroundings are nice, so I'm very satisfied.
We were visiting London for one night and it was the perfect place to stay! It’s located within 30 minutes from every famous landmarks and places, very clean, hospitable, helpful & especially for budget travelers I would highly recommend staying at the hotel. The bed was super comfy too 🙏🏼

Stayed here for five nights when I was just pottering around town on a visit. Reception is very efficient and seemed friendly.
Room is a tiny studio but has everything you need, clean and compact! Even teas and coffees like a regular hotel (and can ask for more if needed). The location is excellent - walking distance to many of London’s top spots and between Euston and Kings Cross - also a short walk away.
It is in a lovely, quiet and secure area, too.
Thanks, keep up the great service and hope to see you again!
The room is very large and tidy, near the subway station, travel is very methodical. Although there is no front desk, there is a 24-hour online customer service and the response speed is very fast.
I had a fantastic stay at StarNest Willesden Junction! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized. The apartment was spotless, stylishly furnished, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay — fast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy bed.
The location is excellent, just a short walk to Willesden Junction station, making it super easy to get around London. Despite being so well-connected, the area was peaceful and quiet at night, which I appreciated after long days of exploring the city.
The host was exceptional — friendly, responsive, and professional, and check-in was seamless. Overall, StarNest Willesden Junction felt like a home away from home. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting London!
It’s a quiet room at the corner. It’s warm inside without AC but I can open the window (mosquitoes would fly into the room, so I can’t really open it wide). There’s a fan provided, but it was noisy and didn’t work very well.
Generally, it’s a very convenient location, with everything clean and set up, and the assistance was in time and quite detailed. Except that in the beginning I didn’t really get check-in self guide, and sent inquiry message but didn’t get any reply, so I couldn’t know how to get in the apartment and which room was mine, everything is recommended!
With a stay at Magnificent 2 Bed Garden Flat in Oval in London (Lambeth), you'll be a 4-minute drive from Clapham Common and 6 minutes from London Eye. This apartment is 2 mi (3.3 km) from Big Ben and 2.6 mi (4.2 km) from Trafalgar Square.
Make yourself at home in one of the 2 individually furnished guestrooms, featuring kitchens with refrigerators and ovens. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Conveniences include separate sitting areas and microwaves, and you can also request cribs/infant beds (surcharge).
Hotel service: When I sent an email before my stay, I answered it sincerely. Unfortunately, due to jet lag, the check-in information came by email too late and I could see it after arriving at the airport. It would be nice to ask you to send it in advance.
Amenities: Hammersmith was a traffic jam and a good place to live. There is Tesco Express (Korean Mart) at Piccadilly Line Station, and there are Riddles, Max & Spencer and Sainsbury Mart near the hostel. It was a good place to shop and move. In addition, there are at least 30 Santander bicycles in front of the dormitory, but they have children, so they can't ride them. If there is no child, I want to take a ride to the Museum of Natural History. Although it is connected to the next room, it is a solo terrace and space, and it was good that the child could take it at will because we only used it to the second floor. The living room is floor, but the stairs and rooms are carpet, so it was a bit disappointing. Like most European hotels, there are no indoor shoes or bathroom shoes, so we brought Korean Air indoor shoes and wore them. We couldn't wear indoor shoes because we were scheduled for 7 nights in London & Edinburgh. I recommend folding indoor shoes for Daiso travel. There is a toilet on the first floor and a toilet and bathroom (bathtub) on the second floor, so the toilet was also comfortable. Heating is available on the second floor, but the first floor is heating in a public space and a heater in the room? There was no, so it was a little unfortunate. It was colder than the second floor room. Still, it would be difficult to book such a large new space at this price in London. All the family loved Hammersmith Summersmuse apartments so much.
Meals: It was an apartment, self-check-in, and it was a place to eat, but there were two food-centered detergents, and there were detergents, susemi, and hangju that could be used for basic dishes. It was good to eat food. We can also eat stew and grilled meat, so it's really good. The windows are big and good, and the ventilation is very convenient. Unfortunately, London food doesn't fit my mouth, so I have to eat at the dormitory.
Laundry: The living room guide said that two laundry detergents were provided, but nothing was provided. I give six towels with a large towel that is as tall as an adult, and I have to wash them and use them. It is not replaced. The washing machine is good even for dryers, but if you want to dry quickly like our country, you have to dry a lot. I found out that two laundry detergents are provided free of charge, so I washed them with water, but it was nice to have a washing machine so I could wash dirty clothes. I stayed in room 9, two beds and one bathroom.
With a stay at Urban Rest Canary Wharf Apartments in London (Canary Wharf), you'll be a 2-minute drive from Thames River and 8 minutes from ExCeL Exhibition Centre. This apartment is 3.2 mi (5.1 km) from Tower of London and 3.3 mi (5.3 km) from Tower Bridge.
Make yourself at home in one of the 6 guestrooms, featuring kitchens with refrigerators and ovens. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and 55-inch Smart televisions are provided for your entertainment. Conveniences include microwaves and electric kettles.
It feels like it’s so worth it!
The apartment is cheap and the rooms are big! There is a Lidl supermarket and several bus stops at the door, so it is convenient to go anywhere!
The room is checked in through a password. Before check-in, a check-in document will be sent to the email address you filled in. The document includes the access code, apartment password, apartment wifi password and other information. If you don’t receive it, just call the landlord/Ctrip directly

DDandan_spainThe location is very nice, the day that I stay was really hot i think for the price that i paid the hotel should dispose of A/C or at least a miserable fan but even that… the rubbish of the anterior guest was there and the drain of the shower was blocked and really dirty
LLeoYuanThe second stay, the first time I lived in two rooms and one living room, this time it was one room and one living room, and it felt more spacious than the last time. It was just before checking out that I found the heating switch, and I forgot to close the window. I froze for one night.
LLINThe room type by the window is great and you can enjoy the street view.
The transportation is very convenient and the life function is very good. I like the function of the kitchen very much, occasionally I can cook by myself, and I can also wash. The button of the toilet is not very stable, but the housekeeping staff will deal with it quickly. The service is efficient.
GGuest UserAs others have mentioned, hotel public areas are clean and well presented. Unfortunately, the rooms are in need of TLC. The location is near battersea park and power station with public transport links nearby. On arrival, I was made to use a third-party QR code to register and provide ID, I was told this was so they could find me if the room was damaged!
We stayed in a twin room on the 4th floor, and there was a smell of stale tobacco from the room next door (they appear to be a long-term resident leaving some of their oersonal belongings outside).
The room was a nice size with a large bathroom, kitchenette, and dining table. Unfortunately the spotlights in the bathroom didn't work and the tap leaked. The doors hiding the kitchenette were broken, the hot tap in the kitchen sink didn't work, the crockery was dirty, but washing up liquid and a dish sponge was provided so we were able to wash them in the bathroom sink.
The window had a note advising it was waiting repair and not to open it. It was cold outside and there was a draft coming through it. I could not find the hairdryer. Looking in the wardrobe, i found an ironing board but no iron.Apparently, you have to ask for these, but we were not told this on check-in. There was a very dirty duvet in the wardrobe and the mattress was stained, thry msy want to consider cleaning and using mattress and bedding protectors!
As we were only staying 1 night, we didn't cause a fuss and reported to reception on check out so they could make repairs.
Overall, this could be a great hotel if room maintenance improved, but in its current state, it's an ok stay for the price. I gave a thumbs up because its not a bad hotel, It's similar standard to other budget hotels, but with a kitchenette.
KKcjR21I recently stayed at Citadines in Holborn and was thoroughly impressed by its **excellent location**, modern amenities, and attentive service. Nestled in the heart of London, this hotel is a perfect base for both leisure and business travelers.
**Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**
The hotel’s location is unbeatable! It’s just a short walk from the Holborn Underground station, making it easy to explore central London. The British Museum, Covent Garden, and vibrant West End theaters are all within walking distance, along with countless restaurants and cafes. Whether you’re here for sightseeing or work, the convenience can’t be overstated.
**Rooms & Cleanliness ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**
My room was **spotlessly clean**, thoughtfully designed, and surprisingly quiet despite the central location. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the modern decor gave the space a fresh, welcoming feel.
**Amenities & Extras ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**
The hotel offers fantastic perks that elevate the stay:
- **Free coffee/tea station** in the lobby (a lifesaver for early mornings or late-night work sessions!).
- **Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi** that worked seamlessly throughout the property.
- A laundry room for your washing needs.
- Friendly staff who were always ready to assist.
**Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐**
The staff were genuinely warm and professional.
**Final Thoughts**
outstanding value for its prime location, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities. If you’re looking for a hassle-free stay in London with the perks of a central hub, this is the place. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the city!
*Pro tip: Don’t miss the free coffee—it’s a great way to start your day before heading out to explore!*
SSZE HIUI have booked a room capable for 4 people, but the hotel could not provide it due to the maintenace is on progress.
They provides us 2 seperate room to us, but with free 4 breakfast while we stayed .
Overall stay, the room is comfortable and the place is convenience to go to the Paddington statation. Many restaurants nearby with nice atmosphere.
OOmidI had a wonderful experience staying at Starnest Shepherd’s Bush. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The check-in process was seamless, and the communication from the team was fast, friendly, and professional throughout my stay.
The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, stylish, and thoughtfully furnished, making it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed, and the high-speed WiFi was perfect for both work and entertainment. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the small touches—like quality linens, blackout curtains, and complimentary toiletries—that really enhanced my comfort.
One of the highlights was the location. Just a short walk to Shepherd’s Bush Station, Westfield shopping centre, and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and local shops, it was perfectly situated for both exploring London and handling day-to-day errands. Despite being in a vibrant neighborhood, the apartment was quiet and peaceful, ideal for rest after a long day.
The building itself was modern and secure, with excellent amenities including laundry facilities and a reliable lift—especially helpful when carrying luggage.
Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Whether you're in London for business or leisure, I highly recommend Starnest Shepherd’s Bush for its exceptional service, comfort, and unbeatable location. I’ll definitely be returning!
NNomadic travelerThere are several things I liked about my stay here. There were a lot of kitchen utensils/ cookware available which was appreciated for a longer stay to be able to cook. I also appreciated being able to check in early and staff were friendly.
Areas for improvement is one, updating information on booking sites regarding their laundry room and gym availability. On trip.com as well as in the elevator and welcome card/info it discuss laundry facilities and gym. However when I went to use them they were not in order as their location had moved and they were still working on it.
I shared this info with staff and at first there was back and forth that felt uncomfortable as they stated that their website or other booking sites don’t list laundry and they don’t have it. But when I showed them on trip.com that it is listed and other places in the hotel they apologized and tried to compensate me for laundry services I would pay for. So I did appreciate that.
Other things, location close to train and bus options and lots of stores and restaurants near by.
Room was mostly clean except the table and wish there was more natural sunlight available in my room. Overall would consider booking again if the price is still a better option, otherwise would go elsewhere until their services are fully available.
0080yFirst of all, thank you for the early check in and friendly conversation with all the reception staffs.
The room was great, enough space, nice kitchen, smart TV, bath tubs.
But the first night(3/22) I already found some problem in the room. There’s a long dark hair on the yellow cushion on the sofa which I was thinking that’s fine, until I saw the second long dark hair on my bed! My hair is blonde so I know that was not my own hair! I have to say this kind of cleaning standards is not acceptable in a four star hotel!
Moreover, when I was trying to sleep, realised there was a huge flying bug on the ceiling, and I can’t reach it. I literally don’t understand why there’s a huge insect in the room! Btw Thanks for the help from the reception of that night. And they promised to give me a new room and I can change the room tomorrow morning which is 3/23. However, in the morning when I ask, they said they can only help me to clean the room, and they said they are a four star hotel, never happened that there’s dust and hair in the room.
I accepted the offer, and they do cleaned my room, but the hair on the bed is still there:). It makes me feel like the conversation is useless at that point.
HHameed966I recently stayed at Buckingham Palace Residences by Aeria Apartments and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect exactly as described, literally next to Buckingham Palace. You couldn't ask for a better position in London.
The area feels incredibly safe and secure, which gave me great peace of mind throughout my stay. The neighborhood is vibrant with plenty of excellent restaurants and shops within walking distance, making it convenient for dining and shopping.
The apartment itself exceeded my expectations. It's spacious, very modern, and clearly well-maintained. The contemporary design and cleanliness really stood out. I did share a few minor suggestions with the management team about some finishing touches that could enhance the experience even further, and they were very receptive. I'm confident these will be addressed promptly.
Overall, I highly recommend Buckingham Palace Residences by Aeria Apartments for anyone looking for quality accommodation in an unbeatable London location. The combination of prime location, safety, modern amenities, and responsive management makes this an excellent choice.
