The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help with any requests.
One of the highlights was the easy access to shops, restaurants, and transport links. Whether you’re in Stratford for business or leisure, this hotel is a great choice.
Highly recommended!
Very good stay experience. I think this is the best and most cost-effective hotel in London, far exceeding the Bulgari in London. The hotel staff is very good, enthusiastic and professional. During the stay, due to negligence, I lost my credit card in the lobby. A female staff member of the hotel found it and took the initiative to pick it up for me. When I returned to the hotel, the concierge at the door told me that my credit card was lost here and took me to the front desk to pick it up. I am really grateful to every staff member. The room is very large and has a separate large cloakroom. The bathroom has a large bathtub, double washbasins, smart toilet, dry and wet separation, bathtub TV, and a very rich mini bar. It is really rare to see rooms of this size in London. The bedding is very comfortable, and the screen of the smart control device in the room has Chinese options. It is very friendly to Chinese people. A brother at the concierge at the door will greet in Chinese. It is really a great hotel. This is the best one I have ever stayed in in the Peninsula.
The room facilities are indeed high-end and exquisite, and the bed is very comfortable
The location is also very good. It is the most satisfactory one among the three hotels we stayed in (The Shard, Bulgari, and Mandarin).
However, the service feels not as warm and sincere as Wenhua
Although it seems like a little bit narrow in the room of 9 beds. It’s still possible to move around. Bathroom is not really clean but acceptable. Not to mention that’s it’s just 5 minutes walking from Lamberth North Tube Station

Great atmosphere, fantastic service and staff. Spend great time, all staff really polite and i had excellent experience. Definitely recommend and will visit again.
Stayed here for a short layover and its quite near Heathrow airport!! Took a bus from the airport, about 15-20mins (excl waiting time) and we reached.
Check in: Swift, maybe cuz it was 11+pm hehe
Service: Great, there was a night menu from the hotel resturant next door and our hotel staff took the extra mile to collect and bring over to reception for us 🙏
Food: Morning breakfast was a classic american brekkie buffet, it was quite good.
Comfort/cleanliness: Bed was comfy, clean. Toilet was huge and very wheelchair accessible but shower area was a little small when curtains are drawn (and if u accidentally touch the wet curtains its SO COLDDDD 😳 toilet wasnt the best looking cuz it looked like public ones but overall still ok
My sons want me to write this: a great hotel in this trip around the Europe except the Barcelona one; that one was exceptionally nice. This hotel is so close to Wembley and ofc to Wembley hub, and that makes transportation very conveniently. Buy the daily ticket for zone 1-6 except you need to go airport. Half an hour to Buckingham Palace and all around there, and no traffic. I’d have to admit this is good for budget concerning. It saves quite a lot of money. Also, since I have this suite, I can walk about 5 minutes to the local supermarket for food and drinks and fix up a good dinner in the hotel.
Wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is simply fantastic as there is a walkway to The O2 shopping centre. The centre has an array of restaurants and discounted shops. The service at The Intercontinental hotel was superb. The only disappointment was the gym and sauna were both closed. Our room was stunning, comfy beds and lovely extras like a Nespresso coffee maker, robes and slippers. The sky bar was beautiful. I would recommend this hotel and we will come again.

AAnonymous UserThe location is quite convenient. The room for 3 people (2 beds) is okay, not too small, and not too dirty. Shower room is a bit small but clean. There is a kitchen, microwave and sink. Overall I’m good with this stay.
GGuest UserAs others have mentioned, hotel public areas are clean and well presented. Unfortunately, the rooms are in need of TLC. The location is near battersea park and power station with public transport links nearby. On arrival, I was made to use a third-party QR code to register and provide ID, I was told this was so they could find me if the room was damaged!
We stayed in a twin room on the 4th floor, and there was a smell of stale tobacco from the room next door (they appear to be a long-term resident leaving some of their oersonal belongings outside).
The room was a nice size with a large bathroom, kitchenette, and dining table. Unfortunately the spotlights in the bathroom didn't work and the tap leaked. The doors hiding the kitchenette were broken, the hot tap in the kitchen sink didn't work, the crockery was dirty, but washing up liquid and a dish sponge was provided so we were able to wash them in the bathroom sink.
The window had a note advising it was waiting repair and not to open it. It was cold outside and there was a draft coming through it. I could not find the hairdryer. Looking in the wardrobe, i found an ironing board but no iron.Apparently, you have to ask for these, but we were not told this on check-in. There was a very dirty duvet in the wardrobe and the mattress was stained, thry msy want to consider cleaning and using mattress and bedding protectors!
As we were only staying 1 night, we didn't cause a fuss and reported to reception on check out so they could make repairs.
Overall, this could be a great hotel if room maintenance improved, but in its current state, it's an ok stay for the price. I gave a thumbs up because its not a bad hotel, It's similar standard to other budget hotels, but with a kitchenette.
DDoreenMokI truly appreciate that your hotel provides rooms thoughtfully designed for guests with disabilities. However, I would kindly suggest being mindful when assigning these rooms to guests who may not require such specific accommodations unless specifically requested.
I was assigned Room 131, which was a room with facilities for disable person, which was clean and well-kept, but I found the bathroom facilities disappointing. The shower had a curtain instead of the screen shown in the booking photos, the sink was set too low, and the toilet didn’t have a lid. This was inconvenient for me, as I prefer to close the lid after use—a habit I’ve developed since Covid.
When I shared my concerns with the reception, they informed me that they couldn’t help directly and advised me to email their office. Although I did so, their response offered a room change but only if I could return to the hotel within a very short timeframe. Since I couldn’t manage that, I ended up staying in the same room with no further assistance. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and I expected better service from this hotel.
AAlicewo1I really like this hotel. The room is spacious. The room is well equipped with the essentials. Clean and everything is thought through. There are lots of wall plugs for charging. Light switches etc are modern yet easy to operate. Cooking utensils provided are clean. There are some complimentary snacks provided, which makes you feel nicely welcomed and settled in. Towels are thick and fluffy. There are dressing gowns and slippers provided. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The fact that they wear t shirts and pants as opposed to the more serious suit in most hotels makes it feel even more relaxed and informal. In general the hotel has a very energetic yet relaxed vibe. Good for everyone I would say. Very refreshed stay, no fuss just comfort and no pretentiousness.

YYuro euroFirst of all, staff are very friendly and kind. They gave me some snacks , flowers and messages because I came London and stay here as Honeymoon. We are so impressed it. Thank you so much Neha!
But just one problem…
These days are very windy and rainy days so leaked water from windows. I told it to front staff, and the one hour later, maintenance staff came to our room to talk check.
He told to front staff that “they have to move the room” and the we waited more one hour to change the room…
However, new room was smaller than old room. we felt sad ;(
Also some times bathroom didn’t provide hot water…
In conclusion, Staff are so nice, Location is also very good, Facilities are not so good…
JJames HorthWhere to begin,
Well as a Luddite myself I was a big fan of the fact that the television didn’t work and that it couldn’t connect to any channel so that’s a huge bonus for me.
Secondly, I love the work of Alexander Fleming and was fascinated to find the lovely mould samples left through the bathroom, bare amenities, other than the couple sachets of soap instead of bottles.
Furthermore, I was pleased to find that as a avid enjoyer of the worlds thinnest duvet I was pleased to find that not only do I have shirts thicker than the duvet but that it almost appeared that it was just the duvet cover and no duvet inside at all!
Also, it may be bold of me to assume that when I book a room with a double bed I don’t expect two single beds pushed together and thinly covered by a bedsheet which when laying in the gap the two beds a pushed apart furthering the gap between them aita or what?
Moreover, when attempting to try and sleep I couldn’t, no matter how hard i tried, tune out the droning of what I can only assume to be a small nuclear reactor going into meltdown or a jet fighter taking off (the boiler) from roaring all night long.
Don’t waste your money my advice is if you want to stay near Hyde park save yourself the disappointment and buy a tent and sleep in Hyde park itself.
The only redeeming factor is the location.
I would recommend going elsewhere.
YYee11I stayed at Leman Locke for 4 days and had a great experience. The room was spacious and included a small living room, which made it feel like a home away from home. The washing machine was a fantastic addition, and the kitchen facilities, including an induction stove and oven, allowed me to cook whenever I wanted.
The customer service was excellent—they even provided a complimentary bottle of red wine and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch due to my honeymoon. There’s a café on the ground floor and a gym in the basement, making it convenient to grab coffee or work out. They also offer free yoga sessions on Sundays, but you need to register in advance.
The location is another highlight. A Tesco Express is nearby, and if you’re a fan of Korean food and bubble tea, there are authentic options just down the road. Aldgate East tube station is only a 5 to 8-minute walk to the hotel.
It may not be near central London but it is quiet and also near a tube station.
Overall, Leman Locke is a great choice for comfort, convenience, and excellent service!
PPo KwanWe stayed for 9 nights in this hotel. I have no complaints about anything. Rooms are clean & bed is comfy. Kitchen is small but have everything you need including a small dishwasher. They even have a laundry free for our washing. Service is top notch. Whenever anything is not right in the room they will fix it immediately. I will highly recommend this place.
RRintrahExcellent service, location, decor, and quality fo rooms. When I first checked in, I noticed the hot water was not running. Within less than an hour I the hot water issue was corrected; the staff were pleasant, professional, friendly, and indeed went above and beyond regarding service.
