I recently stayed at City Viva Hotel in Macau and had a mixed experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, there were a few issues that affected my comfort during my stay.
The main issue I encountered was with the room temperature—it was impossible to adjust it to a warmer setting, which made the room feel quite cold. As a result, I had to wear a jacket inside the room to stay comfortable. Additionally, the air quality was a concern; despite the hotel being clean, the environment felt smoky throughout my stay. There was a constant smoky odor in the air, which was unpleasant and detracted from the overall comfort of the room.
I was also required to pay a deposit of HK$500 at check-in, which is something to be aware of when booking your stay.
Overall, while the hotel is clean and offers decent amenities, the temperature control and smoky environment were drawbacks that impacted my experience.

Thank you for amazing hospitality!
Catherine(Concierge) & Vincent(Front Desk) provided amazing service.
Catherine helped us to book restaurants & provided local sightseeing and transportation info.
Vincent helped me to extend my stay.
Housekeeping team also provided professional service. They seemed to understand Chinese more easily.
Sleep eye mask & teddy bear amenity was good souvenir of Conrad Macao (I checked other customers also took them.)
Thank you for the great service.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. Though there’s no transportation to take me to most parts of tourist attractions, I love the service it provides.
I’ve booked a non-smoking room but when I entered the room, I smelled a strong smell of smoke. I requested to change to another room and they helped me to settle in fifteen minutes in a new room.
This is a birthday trip for my husband and when we returned after dinner, we found there’s a small cake in the room. What a surprise!
If they can provide more shuttle bus service to different parts of Macau, it’ll be perfect!

Very nice everything. Staff and everything very good but one security from supplier company working there know me and he said he have all access of my personal information that I provide to hotel staff for registration. It broke my privacy.
Long story. Overall is still pleasant. Some might say it’s a new hotel, cut some slack for them. Yes and no. If you are not ready, then don’t open. I would say either understaff or staffs are not experienced or well trained. To those that were working there now, I can see that they are doing their very best. Higher management might want to see how to improve further.
1: Reached hotel at 12pm. Put my luggage at reception and went out. They already have my booking and name verified. Came back at 4pm, waited for 30 minutes and gave me the wrong room type from my booking. When I went down to the counter, told me that my room is not ready yet. At 4pm and my room is not ready yet? The fact is that, there’s a group of walked in customers in front of me when I came back. They gave my room to them thinking that I am not back yet. And I have to wait for the other room, which was given a late checked out. And the guest had just left and room is not ready for me. So they put me up in another room to wait for my room.
2: Very generous with space. Room is spacious. Bright. Nice and clean. Which I think it has to be as it is a brand new hotel just opened in less than 2 weeks ago.
3: Stingy with water. Gave only 2 bottles of water. 250ml type. Asked for more and said at most can give 2 more only.
4: Water heater temperature not constant. One moment become very hot and one water becomes cold. And the hot that it suddenly became was very hot. Quite dangerous.
5: There is no robot to bring up your food deliveries and send anything that you request from hotel. You will have to go down to pick up your deliveries and wait for hotel staff to bring to you anything that you request for. I have to wait for 45 minutes for a pair of slippers.
6: The shower area had a design flaw that allows water to flow out when you shower and water ponded right in front the vanity counter. That was how I needed an extra pair of slippers.
7: The blinds of the windows are another wrong choice of blinds to install. You need to lower the entire day blind then you can bring up the black out blind. There are 7 panels of them in the room. My arms are sore after that. And you need to repeat the entire process to bring it up in the morning if you wish to see outside the window.
8: TV doesn’t have access to paid TV. Can only watch local channels.
9: Drop off point do not have a shelter like neighboring buildings. You get wet going in and out of the hotel entrance if it rains.
10: My room was on the top floor. Each time the lift moves, I can hear the braking lock engaging and disengaging. I can also feel the vibration from the gears that lowers and pulls the ropes. I am not a light sleeper and I can hear it.
11: Windows are double glazed. But still can hear the rain splattering while sleeping.

The hotel is 8-min walk from Grand Lisboeta, not easy to locate though. There are three doors to enter to the hotel and there was no staff present at the line friends hotel- I had to check in on the other side.
These special Line Friend-themed rooms are located only on 3/F, so don’t expect to enjoy views inside the room. The room design is cute with lots of Brown and things are clean. However, I requested a double bed but they could not arrange and gave me two twin beds at the end.
I enjoyed the express checkout service.

The hotel is indeed uniquely designed, with an excellent location and convenient travel. The front desk reception was very thoughtful and brought a series of room introductions. It was very considerate service. The room design was also great. It was very comfortable to stay. I will stay here again next time

Facilities: The hotel hardware is really excellent, and the bathrooms are basically high-end
Sanitation: clean and tidy
Service: Macau service is simply first-class, with great details. It is very convenient for us 2 adults to bring 3 children

Most friends recommend that you must stay in London (including Huating) in Macau. I brought my mother with me and got an unexpected free upgrade to the Windsor Suite (if you have the financial resources, you can book on the official website or by phone or spend extra money to upgrade on site). It is true that the room type has more space. The most important thing is to walk 2-2w5 steps a day in the old town and have a full body massage. The chair is so cool! ! The bathroom has an electrically heated metal rack. Pay special attention to the large glass facing the bathtub that can play TV! This time, it is arranged to walk from room 2051 to the elevator to the casino for up to 5 minutes. Londoners in Macau are absolutely comfortable, safe, secure, happy, considerate and warm! ! ! Special thanks to Catherine/Colin/Edmond. Picture 6 Friendly reminder: When making tea in the silver tea set of Huating Afternoon Tea, be careful not to get burned on the top of the tea lid. Suggestion: Put a coat on top of the tea lid. I personally got burnt on the back of my hand. In fact, ice application is enough because it only covers a small area. But the Londoners actually arranged for a doctor to see him and provide him with burn ointment to ensure everything was safe. Seeing that I had my mother with me, I even arranged a car to pick me up from the airport. Be My Guest Be My Home Looking forward to my next visit to my home away from home Londoner!

Excellent
HHangoutsVery nice hotel, also the security attendant named ron, very accommodating friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back soon. We enjoyed our stay. Excellent service!!!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location was fine and the facilities were all up to scratch, but our room had a very strong smell of cigarettes from the minute we checked in - either previous occupants had been smoking or perhaps someone who worked at the hotel? It was raining a lot in Macau during our stay so we were also unable to open our windows to try and get rid of the smell, but overall staff were helpful and the hotel served as a good enough place for us to spend a night during our trip.
GGuest UserThis hotel is just a bridge away from Galaxy Hotel, super convenient and accessible. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant on 1/F provides decent breakfast buffet. The room is spacious with an open kitchen and 2 TV sets. Very likely that will stay there again next time in Macau.

Extend my stay by Trip. Com (Booking. Com) and pay and get confirmation and Ascot Macao don't receive confirmation and Trip dont solve yeti also waiting for my money from Trip for my cancelled flight trip to Dubai..
Please solve both asap
三三口The hotel can be reached by bus No. 26 from Macau Airport, about 3-5 minutes walk from the city of Rowan Double room for two nights, double bed type room small space is not large, TV can not watch (staff has to set still not), bathroom drainage is very poor shower will flood to pay attention, the next day will replenish mineral water and change towels , these two days met the staff are communicating in English, the room is next to the door, early in the morning there will be the sound of residents and passers-by talking, the soundproofing here is a little worse, those who care about the quality of sleep may have to consider it.
Transportation It is very convenient to take a bus from here to Taipa or to Black Sand Beach, Black Sand Dragon Claw Point (be aware of the direction of the bus at each stop and whether it stops), there are several delicious food in the market (Bridge Kee, Fai Kee, Andrew bakery), like the tranquility of the road, unlike the bustling and lively of other areas, like a little quieter less tourists here would be a great choice.
