2-Star Hotels in Oita Prefecture, Japan

It's only a few steps away from the station, but the navigation took us in a circle. The hotel is managed by several old men, and the facilities are a little old-fashioned. The restaurant doesn't have a TV, but a radio. It's clean and tidy, with complete facilities and supplies, comfortable bedding, and a simple portioned meal.

We took a room in a classic style, were very pleased! The room is clean and spacious, has its own washbasin, toilet on the floor, shower in the onsen. The location is great, right next to the embankment, bus stops and 10 minutes to the jr station. The reception staff is very nice! Thank you!

This youth hostel is very good. There was no one at the front desk and it was a self-service check-in. I bought a package with breakfast. The breakfast is not inside the hotel. Turn left outside the hotel and it is very close. There is a rice burger, which is very delicious. Overall, I felt very good staying there. It is a very good space capsule youth hostel!

Very nice room! ! The layout is a bit strange, not square, but the room is large and very clean, the toilet and bathroom are separate, there is a hot spring on the top floor, the hot spring is outdoors, and the scenery is very good But when I checked in, I felt it was a bit like a motel... Some rooms have garages on the first floor hahahaha Check-in is very convenient! The password will be sent to your mailbox. Enter it on the machine on the first floor and you can go upstairs.

The location is very good, opposite Beppu Tower, 3 minutes walk from Kitahama Bus Terminal, and next door is Don Quixote. The hotel service is similar to that of a youth hostel, with a large kitchen for free use and free drinks in the hotel living room all day. Overall, the price-performance ratio is very high.

“ 저렴한 가격에 장기 투숙하기 좋은 숙소” 오이타역에서 도보 15분 거리로 접근성이 나쁘지 않으며 돈키호테를 비롯한 주요 편의시설이 근거리에 위치해있음. 캡슐룸의 경우 별도의 문이 달려있어 어느 정도의 프라이버시는 보장됨. 하지만 밀폐된 목조 캡슐 형태라 여름에는 잠옷이 다 젖을 정도로 더우며 방음에 취약함. 층마다 보안카드를 찍고 들어가야하며 개인 짐을 보관할 수 있는 라커와 흡연실, 자판기, 화장실, 세면대 등이 있음. 샤워는 3층에 위치한 대욕장을 이용해야하는데 수건, 칫솔, 면도기가 잘 구비되어있으며 비교적 청결하게 관리되고 있음.

It was close to Beppu Station and I was able to move smoothly. There was a hot spring on the top floor and I was able to enjoy the night view. The restaurant area was also a lively place.

It can be reached within about a 10-minute walk from Oita Station. The room is spacious and there is a bathhouse where you can take a bath. The staff at the counter were friendly and allowed me to store my luggage in advance before traveling, which saved me a lot of problems. If you want to go to Yufuin, you don’t mind taking the train. It’s really convenient from here and you don’t have to fight for seats.

A pretty good hostel, where you can meet friends from all over the world. The room is large, with a separate bathroom and dry and wet separation. The public area on the first floor is also large. The kitchen is fully equipped. It is a ten-minute walk from Beppu and a five-minute walk from a large supermarket. The supermarket closes at seven in the evening. After dinner, take a walk along the beach.

I had a great stay. The owners are super lovely and will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend the breakfast and dinners, they were great for big days of hiking and convenient as there aren't too many food options up in the mountains. The train carriages have a large sleeping area and a connected large room to store your things or just to hang out. Yes the pillows are like a bag of rice but it's part of the experience! Great place to stay and great value.
