We initially got a spacious room, but it was noisy with the elevator engine. We asked to change it, so we got another very small room, and the problem was the smell of sewage in the bathroom!!! We hope that more attention will be paid to maintenance. The receptionist was very helpful and we thank him.
Perfect location if you’d like to catch an early train from Brussels Midi station, otherwise not the best part of the city :) but also only 20 minutes walking time from the hotel to the famous Grand Place. The hotel itself is much more better than expected: very friendly front desk staff, nice and cosy room and very clean! Absolutely amazed how a cheap hotel can manage such a really good standard. Free wifi, free tea-coffee, fridge, free bottles of water in room. Loved it!

The hotel is located not far from the Royal Palace right from a shopping street with trams. When I arrived there was only self service check in although there is a reception hidden at the back.
No AMEX card was accepted only visa, Mastercard or European bank card which made paying harder than required.
The room was clean but small and there was not even a cup or kettle in the room. Also no tv just one bed with two separate duvets. The bathroom has small shower and the floor seemed to be some sort of plastic cover.
The light switch also switched off all power so in the morning my phone was not charged, I did notice later that there were in fact two buttons but as the are black it was hard to see. There is a seating area but as it was on the top floor the roof takes most space.
On checking out I was told that there is a central kitchen area below stairs where you can get a cup or use the microwave but as there was nobody with check in I didn't find out.
Price was reasonable for Brussels and it was close to my client it was satisfactory.
The hotel information on Trip.com was incorrect. When I arrived, the front desk said that the executive double room did not include a kitchen. The hotel front desk and Trip.com customer service had a good attitude and actively solved the problem for me. Finally, I changed to a room with a kitchen. The room was large enough and the kitchen had basic configurations, which was perfect. There are two large supermarkets within ten minutes nearby, and you can reach the subway station or bus No. 29 directly to the Grand Place in Brussels within three minutes.
the receptionist was super friendly and had no problem talking to me in my idoma, the truth I felt super comfortable and just with that they won me ☺️ I was alone and put me a mini room that was a past, super clean, Very well equipped even with hair dryer, had a small ventilator for if he had heat and a TV that from bed looks luxurious, an ideal size and was noticed that it was relatively new! I was super happy to recommend a lot if you travel alone because you are super comfortable and the treatment of workers is excellent 🥰🥰, in addition, with the 71 bus leaves you only 5 minutes from the hotel and then you are alone at maximum 10 minutes on that same bus from the Grand Place and the Royal!! if you are Spanish do not hesitate to visit this hotel 🤗🤗

It is a very convenient hotel in a perfect location. However rooms are tiny and lack storage space, if you have big luggage or plan to stay longer the standard rooms are tiny. It is enough for a short stay and will have things you need but nothing else.
The traffic is okay. You can reach the city in 30 minutes by car. There is a big park next to it and the supermarket is within 5 minutes' walk. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the front desk was friendly. Overall, it was a good stay.
stayed for 3nights. breakfast no variation.
the reception could be more helpful and friendly.
the cleaning personnel could be more meticulous, there were insufficient hand soap and bath shower on the second night.
the complimentary bottled water only available upon arrival, should provide through the stay.
the smart tv was useful to entertain my mum from crave for korean drama.
overall experience ok.

AAnonymous UserI highly recommended the hotel as the staff are very friendly & welcoming. The location is accessible. We’ll definitely book here again.
GGuest UserGreat location, easy access to city attractions.
Clean and spacious, room was cleaned regularly without my asking.
Helpful and pleasant staff.
GGuest UserPlus:
The room is really big. So is the bed. It is so big that makes me think as if it is king size bed to house politicians or prime minister from the 80s, 90s.
There is heating both in the room and in the shower
There is air con set in the room( but I didn't try to see if it works)
This hotel is located less than 10 mins walk from Brussels north station
Minus
The room look really old. May be 90s, if not 80s.
There is no carpet on the floor. It is really clean but it is really cold to step on. Bring your own slippers.
The room is dim. And some lights were spoilt.
Even if was told it is a non smoking room, the room has lingering smoking smell. Someone smoked in this room before. I told the front desk, he said he will check but when I return from the city , the smell is there still.
The bathroom has some odd smell. May b smell of roaches, or roaches in the pipes.
The shower curtain smell of mould and damp cloth/ damp laundry.
The heating stop around 2am. May b there is max amount of heating one room could use. Make sure you time your heating usage carefully.
The wall is really thin. You can hear when someone is around the lift, going towards their room or what next door is up to.
I can hear everything happening outside, on the street, from police car n siren rushing up and down, to people wondering on the street, their conversation. I don't feel safe here. I can't relax and sleep.
I don't like the paper cup given together with coffee and the place to brush teeth. May be the hotel suffer too often from being stolen . But that make the hotel rating dropping from 1star hotel to guest house.
The toilet spoilt in the middle of the night and you can hear water flowing all night. Need to maneuver with the old school toilet pull button .
I appreciate the effort they maintain it but personally I don't like it. unless you have really early bus or train to catch, and is on a shoe string budget then it is your choice.

AAi SianThe location of this place is the hotel's best offering. It is a 5 mins walk from Brussels Noord Station. The shopping belt @ Rogiers is @ next street.
As for the room, it is also shared by other reviewers on its aged furniture. However, it is clean and pleasant enough to stay in. I also noted that the hotel took efforts to address some feedback, e.g. adding lights and power points.
You need to follow the signs and check in at the adjacent hotel as this hotel closed its entrance and counter.
Given the price we paid per night, it is good value for money. Ok to stay during cooler months as there is no air conditioning.

AAnonymous UserIt is a small but well-equipped hotel. It is a 3-5 minute walk from the subway station. Unfortunately, there are no shops or convenience stores nearby, so it is not convenient for purchasing supplies. There are some snacks and snacks sold on the first floor of the hotel. Frozen pizza, there is a water dispenser on the first floor of the hotel, and it is a sparkling water machine, which is a plus.

JJoe the world citizenI often stay in this hotel because it’s only across the street from the Brussels midi train station which is very convenient for me as I came to Brussels by train. It comes with breakfast and this time they did not even check the room number. The breakfast selection is quite good. They also have locker room for the luggages. To go to the city center, there is tram and metro. It only takes 25 min by walking.

DDaniela BlnEverything was great except the airconditioner that we could not regulate. My husband enjoyed it but for me it was too chilly. Other than that we had a great time there and would love to return.
NNanmaxThe room is clean and nice, and the location is not too far from the grand place.
The breakfast options are standard, with the exception of chocolate powder drink provided, which was nice.
