The room was clean and modern. A little small, but had what you need. The hotel is tugged away in a side street very close to the midi train station. Convenient and quiet at the same time

We initially got a spacious room, but it was noisy with the elevator engine. We asked to change it, so we got another very small room, and the problem was the smell of sewage in the bathroom!!! We hope that more attention will be paid to maintenance. The receptionist was very helpful and we thank him.

Very central location and very friendly staff. Arrived early but could leave luggage so I could go and have lunch. The room was good size for city centre and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was clean and room pleasant. Midi station is nearby as are metro stations. Shops and restaurants close by, city centre about 20 minutes walk

The hotel in the old town is very lively, and you can reach attractions such as the Grand Square and the Manneken Pis within walking distance. The bedroom in the room has to be climbed up stairs, and the bathroom will be a bit cold in winter. Overall, the CP value is very high and the front desk staff are also very friendly👍

The hotel information on Trip.com was incorrect. When I arrived, the front desk said that the executive double room did not include a kitchen. The hotel front desk and Trip.com customer service had a good attitude and actively solved the problem for me. Finally, I changed to a room with a kitchen. The room was large enough and the kitchen had basic configurations, which was perfect. There are two large supermarkets within ten minutes nearby, and you can reach the subway station or bus No. 29 directly to the Grand Place in Brussels within three minutes.

The location is very good, the airport train is about 40 minutes to the subway, and it takes 20 minutes to go to the peeing child to transfer to the bus. The front desk was particularly welcoming, but the room given was particularly embarrassing for people with large luggage. I had to climb the stairs when I got out of the elevator. Fortunately, the staff helped me. The sanitation is very good, the bed is very clean and the bed is very soft.

I had an excellent short stay at the B&B Hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast with yogurts, eggs, croissants and some vegetables, clean room and coffee facilities at the end of the hall on every floor. The mattress are quite firm (I say this having and extra firm mattress at home). The doors slam shut if not guided, so you might want to arm yourself with some earplugs against potential inconsiderate neighbours. I recommend staying here if you want to be in the quiet Ixelles area.

I booked this hotel at the last minute for a short trip to Brussels for an event.I arrived at night time so it took a while to get my bearings from De Bruckere metro station. I arrived tired and hungry so once I checked in,I got a quick shower to freshen up. Booked a single room (bed was slightly bigger than a single). Okay size for the time I was there. It had a patio door so could go outside if you smoke. Bathroom small but for what I needed perfect. There was even a hairdryer which was needed as my trousers had been washed before ai left home and were a bit damp and also for drying hair on the Sunday morning. A safe was in the room and a colour TV with a desk and chair. Foodwise, the information in the hotel booklet in the room needs to be updated as it stated breakfast was on the 7th floor. It wasn't it was on the ground floor then you had to go down a couple of lots of stairs so bear this in mind if wanting to eat breakfast in the hotel especially if disabled or you have mobility issues.Breakfast was scrambled egg, bacon, mushrooms, baked beans if you wanted a hot option. There was also a waffle machine, toast, cereals, yogurt, fruit and pastries with water, fruit juice and two hot drinks makers for tea, coggee and hot chocolate. Food was ok for setting me up for the rest of the day. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby selling a variety of different cuisines however the friterie a few doors up seemed to always be busy. Location wise about 6 minutes walk to the Grand Place and about 8-10 minutes to the Mannequin Pis. In the other direction about the same to the Place de Monnaie which has lots of shops like Uniqlo,Foot Locket,Primark,Decathlon etc. There is a Dunkin Donuts however there is only seating on the upstairs level and there is no lift. Found using the Beurs metro either no 4 or 10 useful for if getting the Eurostar from Brussels. Staff helpful as was able to leave my bags in the left luggage room whilst sightseeing on last day and helped with directions to get to South-Midi station. Only complaints if you can call them that are, lack of kettle in room for making a tea or coffee (much needed after a long journey),decoration in room needs a refresh as paint work chipped and looks like it has seen better days same with corridors away from hotel lobby.

GGuest UserPlus: The room is really big. So is the bed. It is so big that makes me think as if it is king size bed to house politicians or prime minister from the 80s, 90s. There is heating both in the room and in the shower There is air con set in the room( but I didn't try to see if it works) This hotel is located less than 10 mins walk from Brussels north station Minus The room look really old. May be 90s, if not 80s. There is no carpet on the floor. It is really clean but it is really cold to step on. Bring your own slippers. The room is dim. And some lights were spoilt. Even if was told it is a non smoking room, the room has lingering smoking smell. Someone smoked in this room before. I told the front desk, he said he will check but when I return from the city , the smell is there still. The bathroom has some odd smell. May b smell of roaches, or roaches in the pipes. The shower curtain smell of mould and damp cloth/ damp laundry. The heating stop around 2am. May b there is max amount of heating one room could use. Make sure you time your heating usage carefully. The wall is really thin. You can hear when someone is around the lift, going towards their room or what next door is up to. I can hear everything happening outside, on the street, from police car n siren rushing up and down, to people wondering on the street, their conversation. I don't feel safe here. I can't relax and sleep. I don't like the paper cup given together with coffee and the place to brush teeth. May be the hotel suffer too often from being stolen . But that make the hotel rating dropping from 1star hotel to guest house. The toilet spoilt in the middle of the night and you can hear water flowing all night. Need to maneuver with the old school toilet pull button . I appreciate the effort they maintain it but personally I don't like it. unless you have really early bus or train to catch, and is on a shoe string budget then it is your choice.

JJoelIf you're looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly stay in Brussels, Hotel Siru is your go-to! Nestled right next to the Rogier subway station, the location is a dream for both avid explorers and lazy travelers alike. Seriously, if it were any closer to the subway, it would be on the tracks! The rooms are clean and cozy, nothing fancy, but hey, who needs a chandelier when you're just there to crash after a day of waffles and chocolate? The service? Top-notch. The staff are so attentive and friendly, you'd think they mistook you for royalty. They even helped us with directions, dining recommendations, and were quick with extra towels—no need to resort to using the hand towels like makeshift bath sheets. Now, Brussels has a bit of a reputation for being... let's say, 'adventurous.' But don't fret! Despite the city's somewhat sketchy safety stats, we managed to dodge danger like pros. We weren't mugged or robbed—hooray for small victories! We did have a close encounter with a pickpocket, though. Some overly enthusiastic Maghrebi immigrant tried their luck on our first day, but they must have been new at the game. We walked away with all our belongings intact and a story to tell. In conclusion, Hotel Siru is your knight in slightly faded armor, offering a safe, clean, and friendly haven amidst the bustling streets of Brussels. Book your stay, and may your pockets remain as full as your stomach after sampling Brussels' finest treats!

AAnonymous UserIt is a small but well-equipped hotel. It is a 3-5 minute walk from the subway station. Unfortunately, there are no shops or convenience stores nearby, so it is not convenient for purchasing supplies. There are some snacks and snacks sold on the first floor of the hotel. Frozen pizza, there is a water dispenser on the first floor of the hotel, and it is a sparkling water machine, which is a plus.

IIoannis GCentrally located good neighborhood , comfortable mattress, nice walk-in shower, easy self checking checkout, luggage room. The only negative point was the extreme noise. I could hear from my room (2nd floor) all the noise from the street cars, tram, walking people all the night. That ruined the perfect staying that we could have.

GGuest UserI stayed in ibis Brussel midi only 1 night. I got really good service from staff. There are several services provided in hotel, including bar zone and common space. Moreover, it’s very close to the midi station and market, thus it is very convenient to stay. However, it takes only 15 minute from other attractions if you wish to walk. I recommend to stay here.

AAnonymous UserPerfect location if you’d like to catch an early train from Brussels Midi station, otherwise not the best part of the city :) but also only 20 minutes walking time from the hotel to the famous Grand Place. The hotel itself is much more better than expected: very friendly front desk staff, nice and cosy room and very clean! Absolutely amazed how a cheap hotel can manage such a really good standard. Free wifi, free tea-coffee, fridge, free bottles of water in room. Loved it!

AAnonymous UserThe location is very good. It's close to the station. There is also a direct train to the airport. There is a supermarket nearby within a 10-minute walk. Many people say that the security is not very good, but I feel that the accommodation is not bad these days. There is a limited supply of Belgian waffles or croissants in the hotel lobby every day. , the room is clean and tidy, there is a small kitchen for cooking, all pots and pans are available, it is highly recommended
