This place was absolutely beautiful. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. I was lucky enough to get upgraded to an ocean view room. The room itself was awesome and having a solo pool was such an indulgence. It is the perfect place to be forced to relax. The only downside to it was the location, as a solo traveller who likes to see places, there wasn’t much to see or do near by. A Grab was needed to get anywhere.
My body at hometown, but my corpse still in lexis.. miss all the moment so much.. Our experience at Lexis Hibiscus was amazing from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth, the villa was well-maintained, and the private pool overlooking the sea created an unforgettable atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the breakfast selection was excellent. Highly recommended for families and couples looking for a luxurious retreat.will make sure to cime again n again.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They greeted us the moment we arrived and continued to do so throughout our stay, making us feel very welcomed. However, I was a little disappointed with the room. I stayed at Water Chalet 046 and the mini fridge was not working. There was also an unpleasant smell when I opened it. I didn’t make a complaint as I only discovered this at night. In terms of amenities, housekeeping may have forgotten to replenish my shampoo and the hospitality tray. That said, the overall room was still great and the seaview was nice. Breakfast had a satisfying variety of choices and both indoor and outdoor parking were available. Overall, it was a good stay
It was great service and hospitality from the FO and Concierge staff. Should get the housekeeping staff to be at least slow on their work and I was in the room with Online meeting and outside was a bit too noisy. Can be better in future. Overall
Service was very Good and Rated 4.5*
The hotel is kinda old and has some cleanliness issue. We found toothpick & dead bugs on the floor, there are a lot of wasp at night that flew into the bathroom, you'd find many died on the floor in the morning.
Breakfast is seriously a question, I paid double the price from what I would normally paid for a 2d1n and naturally expecting good breakfast selection but it was a disappointment, they repeated the same menu, limited choices w typical nasi lemak fried mihun sausages hash brown , 3 types of bread, egg section, porridge & fruits section, and a roti canai section.
We came at the wrong time as some company team building is going on, its loud even if you requested
for a quiet room, you'd hear children playing from the pool, too many people and the room is not sound proofed, you'd hear ppl talking and dry blowing sounds from another room. Beach is not clean as they claimed. Overall not worth for the price I paid.
This is our third visit to Thistle PD. My little son loves it here. Big pool and accessible to the beach with water sports. He enjoyed playing with the sand and the beach water, yet mostly spending his time at the pool playing at the big pool with the splash and pool slides. There are arcades games, pool table at the play area as well as a play room for the blocks. Love the large area of grass for a walk to the beach. The room a bit faded but it’s clean. Smooth check in and out. Concierge staff is friendly and helpful. Good variety of breakfast. We had all our meals in the renovated restaurant this time. The Chinoise is closed for renovation I think. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
Decent hotel with affordable rate.Have quite nice swimming pool. The room is spacious.Overall exprience is ok,no bad reviews however nothing to be highlighted as well.Worth the money.
Strategic location. The receptionist on call can be more friendly. Called to ask if there is possibility to check in early and the lady simply ask to come to the hotel to check. How inconveneient. Why cant they help check? I dont get it. Other than that, rooms are quite dated, especially the toilets.
We recently stayed at this hotel for a family getaway, and overall, it was a wonderful experience, especially for the kids! The highlight was definitely the splash park – our little ones had a blast there every day, and it was the perfect spot to keep them entertained for hours.
The staff were also outstanding—very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. They made sure all our needs were met and were quick to respond to any requests. It really felt like they cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities catered well to families. However, we did encounter some issues with cleanliness. When we checked in, the toilet hadn’t been properly cleaned, and there was some leftover rubbish in the room from previous guests. It was a bit disappointing, but the staff were quick to resolve the issue once we mentioned it.
Despite that, we had a great time, and I would recommend this hotel to other families. The splash park alone is enough to make it worth the stay, and the friendly staff really made a difference in our overall experience!
Sharing our true review to help anyone interested to be more prepared to enjoy this place.
Positive:
The host is pleasant and helpful.
Overall, It’s a nice, modest place to get away from the city, and no cell connection means you are forced to disconnect. You can purchase a 3 days internet package for a small amount, but connection is poor. This is fine with us as we were happy to be disconnected but able to maintain limited connection to internet for essential things we needed to do.
Be prepared to get the most of your experience:
Prepare your own toiletries, slippers, package food to be comfortable because they provide only a small bottle of shower gel and 2 towels for each person. The kitchen is well equipped for a proper cooking but no condiments or cooking oil, only with a couple of instant coffee and tea bags.
No restaurants near by, difficult to get food, and no Grab cars come in to take you out. (So you have to drive or pay more for taxi they can help to call for you - the taxi drive is amazing man, though a little costly)
On our second day, we discovered a Chinese Villa nearby and ate at its restaurant (need to pre-book)

AAnonymous UserOur spacious room is thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of families on vacation. It is well-equipped with essential amenities to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay. The room features ample space for relaxation, cosy bedding for restful nights, and modern facilities to meet your family's requirements. Whether you're unwinding after a day of adventure or spending quality time together, this room offers the ideal environment for a memorable family getaway.
NNurulmukhtarrI recently stayed at a 3-bedroom apartment and was genuinely impressed by how spacious and comfortable it was — perfect for families or groups seeking both space and privacy. One of the best parts is its prime location, just a short walking distance to the beach, which made morning strolls and evening sunsets effortlessly enjoyable.
The hotel also offers excellent recreational facilities, including pools with fun water slides that my kids absolutely loved. Another plus point is the abundance of eateries right outside the hotel, offering a wide variety of local and international food options.
However, one area that could be improved is the lighting in the apartment. The lights were quite dim at night, especially in the hall. A single white fluorescent light would make a big difference and enhance the comfort of the space.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay — convenient, family-friendly, and ideally located. I’d definitely return, especially if the lighting issue is addressed.

AAnonymous UserAll good except
1. I requested a king size since I came with my husband. But we got 2 single beds.
I asked the counter before checking out, and the reason is that there are a lot of activities this week.
However, I believe it's not an acceptable excuse. I already booked the room beforehand. The hotel side should not give the book booking to other clients
2. Veranda outside of the room
I think the hotel could ask the cleaner to clean the veranda during room keeping before the guest check-in. It smells like bird poop and not cleaned previously.
Overall, they are good.
We enjoy the stay in your hotel. The view is breathtaking and definitely will repeat again .
Hope you can improve on the above points
GGuest UserCan this hotel see if I write in Chinese? I probably won't go there again. There is no air-conditioning, no matter how beautiful the environment is, it cannot withstand the lack of air-conditioning. After all, we are not on the top of the mountain but in the mountains. It is really fatal to have no air conditioning.
