There are 3 good points. 1st, the location is very good, as it was walking distance from/to most of the places I wanted to visit. It's about a ~10min walk from Kanazawa Station, so no hassle getting to the hotel when you arrive. It's about ~10-15min walk to Kanazawa Castle (金沢城) and Kenrokuen (兼六園). The Omicho Market (近江町市場) is literally right across the street, so you can easily hop over there to either start or end your day with some sushi. For the more distant places, there are nearby bus stops to get to areas like the Higashi Chaya district (ひがし茶屋街) or the museums. (Though if you prefer walking, Higashi Chaya district is still walkable at about ~15-20mins). 2nd, the room was quite spacious for a solo traveler, as compared to the typical business hotel. It has a unit-type toilet+bathroom, but it was spacious enough that you can change in there (I think it can even fit 2 people at once). The room was very clean and tidy, and since all rooms are non-smoking, the place doesn't smell funny. The room provides complete amenities like the hot water kettle, a ref, and enough sockets for charging your gear. 3rd, the breakfast buffet was delicious. The selection of both western and local japanese dishes made it worth its price. There is unlimited coffee too, which is available even outside the buffet (great for people who can't go throughout the day without coffee). The staff speaks English well, so no worries if your Japanese skills aren't that great like me. All in all, would gladly stay here again if I find myself in Kanazawa :)

The location is very convenient. Value for money choice. With the hot bath and the breakfast included, it’s definitely a good choice if you are traveling to Kanazawa One thing I would like to remind is the staff at the reception cannot really speak English so there are a few misunderstood communication. Another reminder is to book the twin room even you travel alone. The single room is too small for even one person, and the cost of the two room are not much different

One of the few hotels which can fit 3 adults in a room! Located within 10 minutes from the JR Kanazawa Station and not too far from the fish markets. The hotel has friendly staff and is very clean. There is also a public bath available for guest to use in the North Tower. Will recommend if you are travelling with family.

Location: very conveniently located right besides the bus stop for buses back and forth from Kanazawa station as well as other major touristy spots. But even walking wise everything including Kenrokuen garden, Kanazawa castle, the famous districts & also just 2-3 min walk to Omiya shrine Hotel & Room standard: Elegantly classy and very contemporary rooms. Size was also pretty good and comfortable enough for 2 people for standard room. Room amenities are also very good and the Public bath at top also looks quite fancy. Staff service: Was very very impressed with the staff service. I think everyone spoke & understood basic English to assist with any questions. Furthermore they even have great personalised hotel brochures for restaurants and spots nearby the hotel and what cuisine each offered which I found very helpful. Overall an easy 5/5 stay

Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. We chose Nikko Kanazawa because of its proximity to the train station. Hotel Nikko is actually Kanazawa’s tallest building, designed by a Japanese-French team. Rooms located on 21st-25th floors have beautiful views. Nikko is connected to the Higashi ( eastern) side of the station by the underground passageway through the Porter building. Our room at the 21st floor was large, clean and modern with a fantastic view over the city towards the Sea of Japan. It was very relaxing at the end of the day to sit in arm chairs and watch the sunset. Service was excellent. We found a good restaurant on the sixth floor of the Forus shopping center adjacent to the train station (on the right if you look at the eastern entrance to the station through the giant Torii gate). The name is Morimorizushi Kanazawa Ekimae-ten (sushi), you can't miss it - there will be people on the benches waiting outside. The line goes fast, just don't forget to take your ticket at the entrance. This hi-tech kaiten (conveyor belt) sushi joint is a fantastic place for excellent sushi at reasonable price. It is only 4-5 min. from Hotel Nikko and on rainy day you can reach it by the underground passage. We liked Hotel Nikko and would stay here again.

Family ４ I stayed with a person. Twin ２ Room! It was a very new hotel and nice. The room was compact, but very functional and well designed. The TV was large and it was convenient to get various information in the hall. Especially good was the arrangement of the washroom, toilet, and bath! The washroom space is large and I don't feel any oppression at all. It was a clean and refreshing impression. It was such a nice hotel, but there were some points I was interested in. It is the narrowness of the public part. First of all, it is a large communal bath! I was looking forward to it because it has a large communal bath, but this hotel is a hotel where １７７ room maximum ３８９ can be stayed. Of course, it is distributed, but there are only ７ washrooms and ２ wash basins. The lockers are vertically ７ ３ columns. At the peak of the evening, because the locker was vertically long, ３ people filled all the front of the locker, changed clothes and wiped the body, and it was very crowded. Also, the wash basin was waiting in line, so I was in trouble. Also, there were few washrooms and there was a waiting. I couldn't enter slowly, so when I went late at night, the bath towels that should have been left were not replenished, and there were only a few towels. Also, on the contrary, it seems that towels are overflowing and protruding from the place where towels are put. It was a pity that the hydration machine was not inspected without a cup. The TV in the room is crowded, so it is recommended to check and use it. Next is the restaurant! Breakfast here seems to be filled immediately due to capacity due to reservations. I couldn't make a reservation, so I had breakfast at a nearby hotel. I feel the imbalance of the restaurant size against the capacity. It was a really nice hotel as far as accommodation was concerned. However, I felt that there were difficulties in the public area. If it is a weekday, you can experience the large communal bath and delicious breakfast!

All about the hotel is superb..I enjoy the hotel very much..much bigger than other hotels..5 minutes walk from kanazawa station..the 7-11 beside the hotel..there is a massage chair in the room..nice staff and can speak english very well..

My stay at Dormy Inn Kanazawa was almost the end of the vacation started from Nagano, Hakuba, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Kurobe Gorge. Believe me that staying at this hotel is money worth spent. Dormy Inn usually are near train station but away from noisy traffic, with nice indoor and outdoor Onsen at rooftop together with FREE Soba for supper (9.30-11pm). However, at Kanazawa only (maybe) they provide complimentary Happy Hour from 7-9pm with free flow of red & white wine, beer and party nut and cracker mix. So you probably want to stay until 9.30pm to continue with Free Soba Supper. Sounds good right? Rooms are very clean, staff are friendly. One thing I like about Dormy Inn is they have ice cube for free at the machine. So you can get cheap and nice sake or beer from stores nearby to fix your own drink. Another plus point is free usage of laundry machine and detergent. You only pay for the dryer. I highly recommend Dormy Inn to everyone visiting Japan.

Grass service! Friendly welcome staff. Unlimited free Saki after 3pm. Stayed there during the new year. And experienced earthquake on January 1st 2024. Staff was very professional about it. And evacuated everyone fast. Hotel did not collapse! :)

近江町市場からすぐ。 ファミマも近い。全国支援の斜面などでチェックインは時間がかかる。 特に荷物を預けている人の受け取りとチェックインが重なると、並んでいても順番がぐちゃぐちゃになる。 できればチェックイン時間前に荷物を預ける際に、チェックインの書くものや説明することを終わらしてから、外出してもらうだけで、戻ってきた時に鍵と荷物を預かればチェックインがスムーズになる。また、荷物受け渡しのレーンと呼び鈴をつければチェックインアウトと荷物の受け預けが重ならないのでいいと思います。 ホテルは新しく綺麗。 客室は、広め。トイレとシャワールームが分かれているのがいい。 暖房の効きがよくベットの寝心地も熟睡でき問題なし。 コンセントが多く使いやすい。 ベットサイドに室内の電気コントロールがあるがいい。 収納スペースが多いのがよく、 ミネラルウォーターも無料でついている マイナス点は 洗面所のお湯の湯量が少なく使いづらい。 ハンガーラックスペースがシングル利用ならいいが、ダブルだと狭くて使いづらい。 お風呂に行くための外履きが欲しい。 1番辛かったのは、 ワーキングデスクに椅子がないので、仕事でパソコンや書き物をするときに使いずらい。デスクがあるのになぜ椅子がないのか？ 冷蔵庫の冷えが弱い。 タブレットのリモンコン反応が悪く使えない。 大浴場は露天風呂もあり気持ちよく体全体が温まるし、サウナもある 一部ロッカーの鍵が壊れていて、鍵を閉めようとすると鍵が抜ける。2箇所ほど同じ現象のロッカーがあり。開け閉めに苦労した。 朝食は洋食スタイルで、パンに合うものが多い。金沢といえば海鮮だから和食が飽きる人もいるので洋食はいいと思う。内容は良いと思います。課題は連泊だと内容が変わらず飽きること。

娘夫婦と一緒に、大人4人1室予約で行きました。周りを見ても、２世代/３世代で訪れている人が多い印象でした。 地震と今後始まる宿泊割の影響なのか、今回は人が少なめでゆったりと過ごすことができました。 【お風呂】 温泉を存分に楽しむならこちらです。３つの大浴場があり飽きることがありません。どの浴槽も温泉ですが、源泉掛け流しの浴槽と、源泉の浴槽と、温泉の引き湯での浴槽があります。掛け流しの浴槽は釜風呂（五右衛門風呂）で大きくはありません。入れるタイミングがあればおすすめです。 タオルは大浴場へ持参するスタイルですが、部屋に備え付けのものが濡れてしまっても何度でも替えることができました（バスタオルもOK）。 化粧水やミルク、男性用の基礎化粧品等は、大浴場にもお部屋にもあります。綿棒は部屋にはありませんが大浴場にはありました。手ぶらで行っても大丈夫です。 【お部屋】 我が家はさほど高いプランを選択したわけではありませんでしたが、それでも広々とした充分なお部屋でした。 布団や枕、ソファやクッションなどの質もすばらしかったです。畳はリニューアルなさったとのことで綺麗でした。 お部屋のテレビにはHDMI端子があるので、Fireスティックなどを持参すれば部屋で配信動画も楽しめます。 【館内サービス】 お菓子の提供、フリードリンクなど、滞在客が楽しめるサービスが多いです。また、館内はどこも良い香りがしていましたし、空気には常に清潔感があり、深呼吸したくなる感じでした。 【お食事】 夕食も朝食も、少しずつに見えるのにいただいているとお腹いっぱいで、どれも美味しかったです。季節感や郷土色にも配慮が行き届いていましたし、食材の鮮度が抜群に良かったです。 仲居さんのおもてなしも満点です。長くお勤めのベテランさんなのだろうなと感じました。 夏は大きなウォータースライダーのあるプールも楽しめます。近場に「ゆのくにの森」があり、プールがない時期はそちらも楽しいです。 温泉リゾートという感じの旅館で、楽しい非日常を味わうことができ、予算が許せば2泊滞在したい旅館でした。全てにおいて満足です。

I used it for company benefits. The entrance is Instagrammable as soon as you enter, the building and greenery are beautiful, and there is a hammock in the garden that can be seen from the lobby, making it a perfect spot for commemorative photos. The large room that was shown to me made me feel better. I was able to reserve the hot spring pool in one hour per group. Amidst the chirping of the Higurashi, I was soothed by the bamboo scenery. So far so good. Dinner is probably treated as a recreational facility, so it seems to be the most basic, but really? was the level of For some reason, only the cold appetizers, pork patties, beef stew, and sashimi were delicious even though I came to Kaga. The hardest part was finding G when I was resting after taking a bath. I think it can't be helped because it's in the woods. However, I found it again in the open-air bath of the first bath the next morning. I called the front desk in a hurry, but no one answered the phone. After about 30 calls, there was no female staff, so I apologize. When I took a bath without looking, another G crossed my feet and I couldn't do it anymore. Another customer also said, ”I went out last night and contacted them, but no one exterminated them for the same reason.” Cicadas and canabens are floating in the open-air bath, and it seems that the bath has not been cleaned at all. I understand that there are many insects in the forest, but shouldn't it be maintained regularly? Once I felt uncomfortable, I questioned the cleanliness of everything, and after that I couldn't enjoy it. Is there a repeat...

As soon as you enter the lobby, you'll be enchanted by the snowy landscape, delicious food, and kind employees... Spacious rooms and well-maintained buildings that don't mind the age of the building. I am grateful for the free soft drink server and the free space around the front desk. The rental umbrella has a wonderful design that is unique to Kaga Onsen, and the snowy locality and rental boots for heavy snowfall are also available. We used the free shuttle service from Kaga Onsen Station. ”There is also a cricket bridge within walking distance.” Even if it snows heavily, they will lend you boots and a sturdy umbrella so you don't have to worry.

Probably due to the fact that it is at the so called countryside, price is good. It is quite a drive to the hotel. I arrived about 9pm and it was such a dark drive right into the hotel. A local was driving, if not it would have been quite scary. Not so sure if the location is convenient for the usual traveller. I was booked this hotel by my business counterpart for convenience and supposedly close proximity to the factory. Room is big and spacious. I had 2 queen sized bed with a table and 2 chairs. Not typical of japanese hotels. Room looks old style but clean. Facial wash, body cloth (for scrubbing) etc was provided. They have a natural indoor and outdoor onsen. And a bath that comes with it where everyone just showers together. There is also a dressing area where lotion and moisturiser for the face are provided in the women's onsen. Hair dryer too. Not sure about the men's. There's a vending machine area with drinks and cup noodles and also the toy egg turning machines. Breakfast is at level 1 restaurant, Japanese breakfast, served buffet style.

A well located ryokan (5 minutes walk from the town centre) that has multiple indoor and outdoor public hot springs as well as private hot springs you can book for an extra fee. While the building is modern, being a ryokan. the room I stayed in was furnished in a traditional Japanese style with tatami, fusama, shoji and even a tokonoma (though I suspect all rooms are like this). The facilities and extras Hatori offers (bar, bookable cafe, karaoke room, free taiko performance and free ice cream nightly) were really nice touches. What made my stay most enjoyable however were the delicious dinners (make sure to book your meals in you stay plan you wont regret it!) and staff. While only a little English was spoken all the staff did their utmost to make you feel welcome and provide for your needs. This kind of 'omotenashi' is increasingly rare and I wish I could have stayed there more than 3 nights. I will definitely be back.

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Yamashiro Onsen Yamashita family is a hot spring inn located in Yamashiro Onsen, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Yamashiro Onsen is a hot spring located in Kaga City, Ishikawa prefecture, and is one of the largest hot spring towns in Hokuriku Prefecture. It is an old hot spring that begins with seeing a crow healing his feather wound on the way to Gyoki to practice at Reiho Hakusan in 725. On June 19, 2022, I left my home by car and ran 548km with Murotsu PA 〜 Mikata Goko PA. From there, I drove to Yamashiro Onsen. This time I will stay at the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Yamashiro Onsen Yamashita family. Take your grandmother down at the entrance and move to the parking lot. The parking lot is about a 5-minute walk away. It seems that about 50 cars can be parked in the first parking lot. I walk from here to the hotel, but it seems to be painful on rainy days and snowy days. Next to the Yamashita family, there is Yakuoin Onsenji Temple. Pass in front of Hoshino Resorts. In front of it is ”Kosoyu”. Kosoyu is a restored hot spring from the Meiji era, and the rest area on the second floor is said to have been restored as it was at that time. There is another ”Soyu” in Yamashiro Onsen, and common bathing tickets are also sold. The Yamashita family will stay on this day. It is said that the remains of the Kaga feudal lord's bathing pot are located beside the entrance. In addition, stone lanterns worshiped by Hideyoshi Toyotomi were also displayed. Wash basin. The toilet is a hot water toilet seat. There was another room. It's a wasteful room for two more aunts to stay. I don't need it because I go to the public bath, so there is no bath. Immediately head to the bath. There is a lounge in the large communal bath, where you can enjoy free beer and ice cream as well as soft drinks. The large communal bath is not only on the 5th floor but also on the top floor. The open-air bath is here, and of course the lounge is all-you-can-drink. It was 6 o'clock, so I came to the dinner venue. It's a reserved seat, but a buffet. This time I tried the main tide soup. Grandma looks like this. I also got dessert firmly. After eating, I came to the large communal bath on the 4th floor. The source is here. It is a historic hot spring with a hot spring of 1300 years. There was an earthquake early in the New Year, but the affected area was limited to the Noto region, and I was able to go to Yamanaka Onsen in southern Ishikawa Prefecture without any problems. It was my first time staying at this inn for 2 nights and I was very satisfied. The food at Kaga Ryotei Chihiro was good, but they had teppanyaki, which is rare for Japanese inns, and I preferred that one. I was so excited to eat crab, foie gras, and my favorite ingredients grilled on an iron plate. Since I stayed there for several nights, I was able to enjoy pancakes for afternoon tea, and the service was perfect. We also enjoyed the Yamanakabushi performance after dinner. It was a very welcoming inn.

You can take the bus of the mountain line at the entrance of Kaga Hot Spring JR Station. But if you bring a large baggage, pay attention to the uphill section, and the hotel also has a small bus to send you. The hotel is similar to other soups, buffet breakfast and dinner are provided, leisure and entertainment items are also traditional table tennis, comic room, game room, KTV, etc. The rooms are basically Japanese, some old but still relatively clean and tidy. There are not many places to eat around the hotel, and there are only a few restaurants to go to the station.

The appearance is old, but the lobby and the room do not feel so old. Mr. Nakai looks like a relative's aunt, and it feels just right without being too much. White rice is delicious for meals anyway. He put plenty of it in the ohitsu and was willing to bring me a refill. The side dishes were of course delicious, but the white rice was delicious anyway. The large communal bath is normal. The hot water is hot. There was no smell of karki and my skin became smooth. I am very grateful that the private bath can be used for free the next morning. There were 3 types of private baths, but 2 types were able to take a bath. I was able to use the table tennis table for free, so I enjoyed it with my children. The books from the library on the second floor were brought into the room, and the children who liked books were overjoyed. Impression that there are many books for adults. We never went out until check-out, but when we looked at the lobby the next morning, it was raining, so there were boots for lending. I also prepared for children, and I thought it was a thankful service. When I returned, Mr. Nakai went out to see me off to the parking lot and waved until I couldn't see the car. It's not a luxury inn, but you can enjoy the hot springs at a reasonable price. Not suitable for those who expect Mr. Nakai's generous service. It was the best service content for my house.

Check-in and check-out are unmanned, and the machine is placed on the other side, and the samurai and dinosaurs are projected. Because it is a new hotel, the room was naturally beautiful and the bed was soft. I felt that the room was a bit large, but the facilities are ordinary business hotels. The bath is still a bit large and there is a washroom. Breakfast was the first day of the Atsua baked rice, and the rice was delicious, but the problem was the second day. It was like dried or boiled cherry blossoms, but it was cold and I couldn't eat it. I had it warmed up, but it was still cold and hard, so I left it almost. The location of the hotel is about 3 minutes walk from the west exit of Komatsu station. Cross the signal and turn left to get there. The room is clean and it seems to be in the middle of repairing the exterior. There are two croissants in the room. It is quite delicious. It is a good hotel if you only stay. Convenience stores are located in Komatsu Station. There is a vending machine in the hotel.

This hotel was incredible! You are welcomed like royalty with a tea ceremony while looking out onto the beautiful garden. The rooms are huge and are simply incredible. There are two public onsens, one for each gender and if you want a private Onsen you can book that too. We are nearby in several really nice izakiyas which were fantastic. The younger staff, as well as the owner and his daughter speak English and one of the receptionists is Chinese. I can not recommend this place highly enough. If you want a really traditional ryokan and a relaxing stay just book this hotel. It is truly amazing!

I was looking forward to it because it was a new business hotel, but the walls seemed thin, and I couldn't sleep because I was worried about the sound of the next room hitting the wall. Did someone with such a habit stay? I'm not sure, but I hit it both in the middle of the night and early in the morning. Also, since the station is close, the sound of a freight train passing by echoed quite a bit during the night. It's no choice if it's an old hotel, but is it a new hotel, but is it like this? I was disappointed. Recent new hotels often have large communal baths and saunas, but it was a little disappointing that there was no one here. It was new so it was kept clean and the location near the station was perfect.

I suddenly wanted to visit Hakusan Hikaru Jinja shrine in Hakusan City, Ishikawa prefecture, and I left Haneda one night with my wife and two people and used it for one night. I arrived at the airport and rented a car immediately, had dinner in Komatsu city and then headed for the hotel. The hotel is near Komatsu IC, very easy to understand, and there are plenty of parking lots and we were able to park without problems. At the reception there were other arrival guests, so I waited a little, but the check-in procedure was very smooth and the explanation and breakfast guide in the building were also very kind. The room is an annex called the bizcot 3F However, the corridor and the room were cleaned well and we were able to use it comfortably. Also, I knew after arriving at the hotel, but there was a large and beautiful public bath available in the main building 3F in the early morning of midnight, and I was very satisfied with bathing at night and the next morning, thank you. Breakfast was a normal Viking style, but it was a pass point level enough. There was a machine that automatically put rice in a tea bowl, and I was impressed that it was very hygienic! If you go to Komatsu again, I will definitely use it again.

The hotel is old and the room is clean but not well cleaned especially the corners of the room. The room is old and dull and the toilet smells bad. The balcony is covered with bamboo screen which make hard to see the outside. We can see the balcony is not well cleaned and the rooftop of the building is not well cleaned, too. If they clean the balcony and rooftop it will make a big difference. The fence at the balcony is worn out if they repainted it,it will be very beautiful seeing from the inside. I dont care if the building is old but they should keep it well cleaned and more presentable and im sure people will come again. The food is good and the bathing facilities is also good but its too hot no air at all, i didnt stay long because i cant breath i wish they open the window for fresh air to come. the atmosphere from the window the dried mold of the rooftop and the worn out of the balcony fence should be fix.The place is very quiet and you can really relax.The main entrance and ground floor is renovated and its nice and modern. The service is good too but the clerks are not lively they should be more cheerful. If the room is not dull and the balcony and rooftop is clean i want to stay again but sorry i wont stay here again. I'm staying at the Yukai Resort, which is color 々, so it may be because I'm used to the unique system, but the employees were more kind. Also, the children were very excited about ”Children's Village” and were playing until the last minute. How big is the room? ?? The children were playing hide-and-seek in about the size. There is a color 々 writing, but I think that's the case if you get used to the Yukai Resort system. Check-out is from 8 am in advance. The room was free to use until 12 o'clock. It was a very convenient system. There is also a children's playground in the restaurant, so the recommended time for meals with children is ”book at the first time” both morning and night. There was no New Year-like event in Corona, but it wasn't as crowded as it was, and it was comfortable. I think the free rental stroller that can be used in the building was also very convenient.
