Garden-style hotel with nice scenery. The staff is very enthusiastic and greets everyone they meet. The room is relatively large, clean and reasonably furnished, but the soundproofing is average. There are many types of breakfast and the dining environment is also good. Although there are not many types of afternoon tea, the place is large and suitable for work or chatting with a few friends, haha. It is very close to the Grand Canal Museum and there is also a Can Can Park nearby, which is suitable for taking children out for a walk

Great location! Less than 1km from West Station. Personnel were very profesional. Breakfast great and rooms very big with all the necessary things. Would definitely book again if have to stay at Cangzhou.

What a lovely gem of a hotel! I was reluctantly (very reluctantly) persuaded to leave Beijing for the weekend and head for the nesrest beach - Qinhuangdao. The Bullet Train was great fun - we splashed out on first-class tickets and had the first-class cabin all to ourselves. Qinhuangdao was a welcome change of pace from the self-important hussle of Beijing. The bad things first - the weather was terrible and the beach itself is more 1970s Blackpool than present-day Antibes. But the Hampton by Hilton was a delightful surprise. The staff are absolutely delightful. Although they don’t speak English, the use of a few translation apps soon explained to them what we needed and they always did their best to look after us. The rooms are great - we even got a free upgrade to a suite. The breakfast options are many and varied. We were the only Western guests that weekend and the other guests seemed to be Chinese middle-class families. If I had to guess I would say they tended to be from other parts of China as they didn’t seem to be the usual rude impatient Beijingers. It was lovely to see Al the little children having fun with their parents. So, our thanks to the ladies at Reception, the young concierge guys, the housekeepers and the busy breakfast staff. The owners of the this hotel is blessed with great staff. Thank you all so much for looking after us so well.

Overall a great hotel, and we loved our room and the swimming pool (the changing rooms and showers are amazing!) but there were some issues. Our door cards constantly stopped working even though we told the staff every time we extended our booking. The gym was much too hot, almost too hot to work out in. The shower in the room was not hot enough and the water temperature fluctuated a lot. Breakfast was very disappointing; the breakfast room so freezing that a lot of people had to wear their coats to breakfast and a lot of the food was cold even at 7.30am. The service at breakfast was poor and there was little good western food. Undeniably the view is absolutely stunning though. The worst thing was the internet, which even for Chinese websites was extremely slow, and that more than anything else spoiled our stay.

Hotel is beautiful and the service was top notch. Upon arrival, the front desk let us know that the room we had booked online didn’t have a great view, so they automatically upgraded us for free, without my even having to ask. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The outdoor grounds are beautiful and relaxing. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was an elegant array of Chinese dishes along with a few western options. Location is ideal—within walking distance to the Summer Mountain Resort and restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend this as a high-quality hotel for a stay in Chengde.

Location is great. Front desk seemed to not really know how to register foreigners, taking a long time when it’s actually quite simple process. They should be kept updated on new immigration policies China has implemented to ensure smooth process for all the guests. Also they had quite hard time to explain in Chinese (on phone) how it works to get in to Jinshanling Great Wall. Concierge however was nice and helpful. Their service was 10/5 and raises the overall to 5/5 from 3/5. Restaurant is fine, prices are quite high but given that food was edible and no other options it is acceptable. Breakfast is good enough. Cleanliness is ok, bed sheets are clean but bathroom is not so clean, quite many stains. Taking better care of the room could and would allow cheaper maintenance in long term. Bit of dust also. Hotel should offer transit service to its customers from railway station so they wouldn’t be stranded and aggressively faced by locals offering ride. Great Wall itself is amazing so I can only hope hotel would step up its game for the future.

The hotel's pricing is reasonable and competitive with other hotels in the area. The location of the hotel is not ideal as there are not many shops or restaurants nearby. However, there is a mall within a 10-minute walk that has several western fast food chains such as KFC, Subway, and McDonald's.

The location of the hotel is great. The rooms were clean and generally tidy. I was surprised to find however that there were no disposable slippers although that maybe a hotel policy to prevent waste but I think they should be made available on request. Breakfast had a good selection and was worth the cost. Sadly, we did not have time to avail of any of the other facilities in the hotel. The weak point seems to be the check in process. It took far too long, I do not expect to spend fifteen minutes to check into a hotel with a prepaid reservation. There is no issue with language as I can speak Chinese. I realise that there are extra steps to deal with when dealing with overseas guests but they seemed pretty clueless when I presented them with a permanent resident card and insisted on my passport instead. The fact there was no entry stamp in my passport as it is new confused them even more and I had to waste more time finding my old passport which luckily I had with me. I was then asked various questions concerning my travel history which in over a decade in China I have never been asked before and when I asked why they needed this information there was no definitive answer given. I also received a follow up call encouraging me to leave a review and to join their membership program, this is not expected and guests information should not be used for marketing. I expect that a manager will see this review and should note these concerns and speak to their reception team to rectify this.

The hotel was ok for the price. It was just a few minutes away from the airport by taxi. There is a shuttle bus but when we tried to call from the airport to get picked up, nobody answered the hotel phone. When we arrived, I booked a king size bedroom but I was with my colleague so the receptionist kindly change the room for a twin bedroom. Next day we took the free shuttle service to the airport. The driver was a little rude. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

The room we were given only had a small window but it had a nice view and comfortable bed. Only complaint is that the room is a bit dated and had strong smell of cigarettes even though we asked for non smoking. Afternoons tea is a nice feature

**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures** Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us. The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests. Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night. On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight. In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

The supporting facilities are complete, the service is good, the location is particularly advantageous, the subway station is just outside the lobby, and the price/performance ratio is very high. Downstairs is the downtown commercial street, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and playing. I will stay here again next time I go

I have held a meeting in Yunzhen Jinling Hotel in Beijing before. I feel that the staff are very responsible and the environment and facilities are very grand. This is my first time in Shijiazhuang, so I chose this hotel with confidence. First of all, the hotel is in a very good location. It is directly opposite the Hebei Museum and can be seen directly. There is a subway station downstairs and there are many local delicacies nearby. Secondly, the environment and facilities of the hotel also meet the five-star standard. The most important thing is that the service here is really good, and they also took the initiative to upgrade the room type. The noodles for breakfast are really delicious! Let me talk about a few details that impressed me deeply: 1. When calling the guest service, basically the phone can be answered after one ring, and the guest’s surname is called accurately, and the room situation is also very familiar. 2. Milk will be placed very considerately in the evening. 3. The hotel brings its own drinking water, which is very convenient. In short, this stay is very pleasant. The hotel is in a very good location. Pingshuiqiao Bathing Beach is right outside the door. The sea view room can also see the sea in the bathing beach. The surrounding business is very complete, with everything from restaurants to convenience stores. I like the design of the hotel very much. It is a large park. There are currently three small buildings and about one small building under construction. The colors of the decoration in the building are very bright and clean. The hotel room is reasonably designed, especially in the corridor, and I feel very safe when I walk in. The hotel service is very good. The ladies at the front desk will stand up and take the initiative to greet guests whenever they come in and out, and the cleaning aunts are also very kind. Parking is very convenient. The park area is large and there are many parking spaces. I want to say that the breakfast is a bit worrying. There are indeed many varieties, but the tableware is not very clean. All the bowls and plates are hanging with water, which must be unsterilized. There is also milky liquid in some bowls, which has not been rinsed clean. The restaurant is small in size. The hotel and outdoor facilities convince by a great design and are top maintained. Absolut top Position directly at the wide and clean sandy beach. An absolute highlight is the pool on the roof with a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy your stay. The indoor pool area is als very nice. Our room with large balcony and view of the beach was very clean and spacious. In the outdoor area is a large shallow children’s pool. Nice corners and seating areas invite you to linger. The beach directly in front of the hotel is particularly suitable for families with children. The Hotel also has a children area. The breakfast buffet offers a large selection of delicious Chinese and Western dishes. We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last minute!

We very much enjoyed our stay . Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Very convenient location, a stone throw away from the beach. A mall is about 10 minutes away in a taxi. The only aspect we feel needs to improve is the breakfast. The menu was always the same which made a longer stay experience a bit boring, not always looking forward to dining. Perhaps changing a few items in the menu every morning will make that exceptional experience. Otherwise, an amazing hotel-keep it up!

The tallest hotel near the Gold Coast, with an independent yard for easy parking. It is really close to the sea. You can enjoy the sea while lying on the bed. The sunrise in the morning dyes the sky red, which is very beautiful. The room is of suitable size, clean and tidy, with old-fashioned decoration style. There is a refrigerator and the bathroom quality is good. The restaurant is also a sea view restaurant with many seafood dishes. It is a great thing in life to look out at the sea and taste the seafood.

The sea view was perfect and we, all the family members, loved this apartment hotel. As room for improvement, there was no toilet paper and no English spoken receptionists.

Very safe and great place to stay! This is very close to Aranya if that's where you need to be, but staying at this hotel will not give you access/entrance to Aranya as it is outside the community. There are numerous facilities onsite making it a great destination to spend a few nights at and unwind. It seems very family-friendly as well. Location-wise, I'm not sure what else is around that is open access to the public, so I would do research if you plan on going to the beach and exploring surrounding landmarks. Also, so many stuffed bears. Love it.

Very cute and charming hotel which it is actually a museum! Just on the side of the entrance to the Shanhai Pass and in walking distance to several attractions. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Can not thank you enough for all you great attentions and help also recommendations during my stay. Cangzhou is the 6th stop of our business trip. When choosing a hotel in Cangzhou, we read a lot of hotel-related reviews on Ctrip and other platforms, and finally chose Tianyue Hotel. The location of the hotel is very close to Nanchuan Lou, just a few minutes walk away. It is very convenient for dining, shopping, recreation and going to various attractions. Hotel amenities and staff are excellent , warm greetings by staff , always pay attention to the needs of guests , clothes washing service, shoe cleaning service and many more you just need to ask staff they will help you earliest . The toilet and bathroom are also separate, dry and wet , very convenient. The second day's breakfast is really very rich, a combination of Chinese and Western, Chinese food also combines a lot of local characteristics, sheep intestine soup is very authentic! All kinds of pasta are also very delicious, there are many types of western food, all kinds of small bread, small dessert, yogurt, etc., the restaurant staff is also very warm, very positive and timely to help clean up the tableware, next time come to Cangzhou to play, will certainly choose this hotel!

Came to Cangzhou~I didn't want to stay here...I was too tired but decided to stay. I found this one on a whim, it's awesome...There are shopping malls around 0317 hot pot restaurant, and there are many parking spaces around...There are electric cars at the intersection, which is very convenient...Nanchuan Old Street is not far away~Convenient transportation and parking! ! The environment is very good. There are two large single beds... One bed can sleep two people, Xiaodu is smart... I also like the smell of the body lotion. It's the first time I've come across this small detail ~ sewing kit... It's so thoughtful! Children will be provided with children's toiletries ~ and milk and fruit are also given ~ It's great to come to Cangzhou and choose this place without regrets!
