Wow! Wow! Wow! What an experience we had! It was really fantastic! They provide a good service and do everything so well, that you want to continue your stay there! When we came into the room, there was a table laid with tea and Japanese desert mocha for two people. I appreciate for that! The Japanese kaiseki dinner was up to my taste, but not all the food as I could not recognise the taste of some and I simply didn’t like it. My daughter doesn’t like fish, so she could taste only a few dishes. She liked rice (how good it was cooked). A wonderful sunset and a wonderful sunrise is way I intended to see! I did! It was amazing! Photos attached. Try to see it, too! The breakfast was also with fish. As for me, it was tasty. My daughter found it not to her taste. Onsen was relaxing and very good to visit! Worthy! They drove us to the station after our stay at the hotel. I appreciate the hotel for the accommodation and service! I recommend this hotel, but I would come hear earlier to spend more time in ryokan!

A ceiling light of the room is broken, called the front desk but they said all the rooms are with the same brightness, with is not convincing. If it’s true, the room at night is quite dark, even with all the lights on. Very close to JR station, with convenient shop nearby, good shower.

Good hotel to rest and relax. Excellent service to meet up our request to allow our two road bikes into the room before being able to continue our Japan Journey without any interruptions.

the servise is quite good and the reception staffs are responsive and helpful. the scenery should be nice and can see the sea shore but given that I stayed in typhoon days, I can only show you some misty pics. One pity thing is that it's a little bit dusty and humid. also recommend the dinner buffet,high quality.

The hotel room was spacious but quite dated. Its location wasn't very convenient; despite distances not being far, the uphill roads made walking quite tiring, especially since we had to pass through a somewhat secluded area that felt completely unsafe to walk through at night. Although the hotel offers a shuttle service, morning drop-offs required prior booking, and afternoon pick-ups were at fixed times, ending quite early at 5:30 PM. I personally felt that shops in this area generally close early, but for the hotel's shuttle service to stop even *before* the shops closed was extremely inconvenient. It really should run until at least 6:30 PM. Most guests staying at the hotel were Japanese, with very few foreign visitors. Furthermore, the hotel's cleanliness wasn't up to standard; on the day we checked in, there was sand on the tatami mats, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. Both the restroom and shower were incredibly tiny. This might be because of the on-site hot springs, perhaps they didn't expect guests to shower in their rooms. Additionally, while the hotel faces the sea, the sound of the waves was genuinely loud and disturbed our sleep. Lastly, I must express my dissatisfaction with the hotel's shuttle staff. They exhibited discriminatory behavior. On our last day, upon seeing that we were not Japanese, they refused to help us with our luggage. However, for the very next guests, who spoke Japanese, they readily assisted them.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right behind Gotemba Premium Outlets. The facilities are also quite good. Private onsen baths need to be booked in advance, with options on both the first and third floors; the third-floor bath is 1000 JPY more expensive. I specifically booked a room with a view of Mount Fuji, but unfortunately, the sky wasn't cooperating, and it was consistently hidden behind a thick blanket of clouds. Guess I'll just have to come back again for another try!

The hotel is a Ibis/ Holiday Inn Express version of the Prince Hotel. It is no frills basic hotel with a great location. The breakfast is a simple chazuke dish with a drink. Check-in timing is inflexible but you can leave your luggage and explore the area a bit, not sure if Prince Hotel loyalty members get any special treatment. The room is basic and have everything you need with ensuite bathroom. The location is just a short walk from Atami Station and the Toyota Rental Car office. There is a car park but there are some restrictions over the timing etc.

Having a hotel with a bathtub is an absolute game-changer! After walking thousands of steps and feeling utterly exhausted every day, a good soak in the tub was incredibly soothing. On top of that, they offer unlimited complimentary noodles every evening. For the price and quality in Japan, this place is truly unbeatable!

Mishima is a bit of an undiscovered gem, isn't it? 😆 I stayed for three nights and it was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend it for those who enjoy slow-paced, independent travel. It's a charming town nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji, where melted snow flows into the picturesque Genbei River. Mishima makes an excellent base camp for exploring destinations like Izu Kogen, Mount Omuro, the Cactus Park, Hakone, Owakudani, the Hakone Pirate Ship, and even Lake Kawaguchiko for Mount Fuji views. What's more, accessing Atami Station by car/train from here is also very convenient. Now, about the hotel itself. The rooftop onsen (hot spring bath) is definitely a major plus! It was incredibly clean and comfortable, and never crowded. Whether you go for a morning soak or an evening dip to unwind, the views are absolutely stunning 🌟 Breakfast was also fantastic, as you can see from the photos I've included! 😁 The service was superb, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a washing machine available – a combined washer-dryer for just 500 yen for 120 minutes! That was a huge bonus 🥳 If possible, try to book their largest room type. We couldn't get a corner room, so we ended up with a 27 sq m room, which wasn't huge. However, all the other aspects of our stay were so delightful and comfortable 😍
