Hotel didn't provide bottle drinking water but at every floor, 2 units of water dispenser were placed and the filtered water taste good. Only one bad thing, room's window sound proofing were poor. Can hear noise from outside of window.

Stayed one night at this very nice hotel. Easy check-in, good view from 15th floor of Ipoh, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, WiFi included and the air-con worked well. We had a big buffet breakfast the next morning- lots of choice so couldn’t try everything. Pool looked inviting but was closed, the gym had several machines but the room was hot so we went walking instead.

The swimming pool was notably clean, and our spacious city-view room provided a stunning panorama. We highly recommend requesting this view. The staff's attentiveness was evident throughout our stay. They consistently greeted us warmly, adding a delightful touch to our daily experience. Room service was prompt and courteous, although we found it more efficient to request additional amenities, such as pillows and blankets, directly from the staff on our floor rather than via the often-busy phone line. One area for improvement is the parking gantry, which experienced occasional glitches, causing delays for several vehicles. Despite this minor inconvenience, we would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This is the place where i felt safe when i go to Ipoh. As usually the front office always excellent, no deposit because i already settle the payment before, but have to pay 2 night tourism tax cost rm6. As enter the spacious room with king size bed, the linen was comfy and clean. Also got bath tub and rain shower. But i realise the ventilation fan not working. Lotion, syampoo and shower gel attached to the wall. No tooth brush. 2 free water bottle per day. Got iron and iron board, the wardrobe was big. Got hair dryer and refrigerator. I also order the room service which it cost me rm17 nett. Beef lasagna with salad, desert and free drink. Not bad. Will come again to this hotel if i come to Ipoh.😁

The hotel has a great location, close to restaurants and street art. We stayed in a room on the 10th floor with a good view on the park. The downsides were the unpleasant smell of sewage from the bathroom, the cleaning was mediocre, there was no refrigerator. Otherwise, the hotel corresponded to the description for its 3 stars. If you are looking for a hotel to spend the night in, this hotel might be your choice.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Taiping, right next to Taiping Mall, making it very easy to access shopping and dining options. The room was modern, spacious, and clean. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the large windows that offered a beautiful view of the city. The bathroom was well-maintained, with good water pressure in the shower and all the necessary toiletries provided. The staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, Novotel Taiping is a good choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Firstly, quite dissapointed because we were allocated at Block C and the room was different from the pics provided when booking (no fantastic view, no bathtub like shown in the booking). Plus our room facing the city and there's ”birds” loitering ard the balcony. There are 3 blocks and the block C given to us itself quite empty and scary too. When we walk ard the hotel area at night can see only few units are occupied. Even the atmosphere at Block C were eerie luckily no ghost of cos if not we would check out immediately. We dont even dare open the curtains cos too eerie after knowing not many occupants/guests at Block C. My husband told me he actually asked to upgrade room to Block A few days before we check in, but was informed no vacancy at Block A. But when we check in, we asked to change to Block A but was informed need to top up rm250 per night because Block A. So conflicting of information. Plus, they should just fill up visitors to Block A or B, so it wont be too scary. Secondly, the toilet bowls are not that clean with yellow stains. Although, we were surprised with the ”birthday” bed decoration and ”birthday cake”, the atmosphere at Block C is eerie itself. Definitely not coming back.

The hotel really lives up to its description as an oasis away from the city. I loved how it was located away from the hustle and bustle of the central city area, amidst beautiful nature. The hotel had several unique amenities such as the fish pool, meditation cave and crystal cave which were amazing to be be in. We booked a lake villa which had its own hot tub and private pool, as well as a nice balcony with a scenic view of the lake. All staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, and we also enjoyed dinner at Jeff’s Cellar - a mind-blowing experience with a delicious 10-course menu in a gorgeous 260-million-year-old limestone cave.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Symphony Suites Hotel, Ipoh, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel is strategically located, just a 10-minute drive to Ipoh city center, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff, who immediately made us feel at home. To our delight, we were also offered complimentary afternoon tea and light snacks - a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. The room was impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The toilet was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, which is always a big plus. Breakfast at the hotel was simple but delicious, featuring fresh and satisfying options to start the day right. One lovely surprise was finding a personalized note in my room after check-in. The management had left a greeting wishing me a Merry Christmas. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made me feel so warm and happy. Small touches like this truly set this hotel apart. Thank you so much! Another highlight is the nearby amenities. Within walking distance, we found a Chinese restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and even a bar and bistro, offering a variety of dining choices to suit different tastes. Overall, my family and I were thoroughly satisfied with our stay. For the value it offers, Symphony Suites Hotel will undoubtedly be our first choice on our next visit to Ipoh. Highly recommended!

1st time to Ipoh and happy that I chose this hotel. It is very convenient to mall, eatery n places of interest. The check in was very smooth and fast.  Am delighted that I was able to checked into my room at around 9am instead of 3pm . Room is clean and spacious with nice view too. The only thing are the toilet door and the main door is too old very hard to close 😅 other than that everything is good😁The b’fast spread is very simple nothing to be picky abt , just nice to fill up your tummy.  Thank you for your hospitality and will sure to recommend to friends.

After stay only we realise this is a malay hotel and very old hotel. i cannot say its bad because the staff is nice and friendly. Just what we feel the family room we booked it's not that new or modern design.. it can feel it's totally malay style and also the location is not near town area because we take cab to town need at least 25 minutes to reach.

The bathroom still has someone's trousers hanging in it, and we were informed that the maintenance staff would assist us in opening the closed safe deposit box. However, the maintenance guy didn't show up. Additionally, the breakfast was lousy. Beside this, everything else is okay. The room is facing the lakeview, but due to the low floor, we could hear the sound of motorbikes

Checkin was smooth and fast, just a few minutes after we arrived and we got our key. Room was clean and fragrant, bathroom superb with bathtub, deluxe room was quite spacious we can perform our prayers with ease. Pool was clean and very big to swim for adults. For the breakfast, we enjoyed small bites of every menu provided, eating at the outdoor area we even got to see a group of hornbills flying and resting on trees next to the hotel. Definitely will be back again someday!

Our family booking for a group of 4 so we took 2 single rooms. Location is not bad; a bit secluded thus the traffic to get to the hotel was light. The rooms were decent; they met the requirement given the room rate. Our rooms didn’t come with breakfast but we decided to pay on our own. The coffeehouse was nice; typical local breakfast selections. Took some time to check the pool area which was in a semi outdoor setup while still protecting you from rains and thunderstorms. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a short, family-related trip to Taiping.

Just a simple, good and calm place. Easily access to self laundry for 24h. A mart was just beside the hotel and serve for 24h as well. So, do not worry if you need something urgent, the facility just close to your hotel. The staffs are super great. Seriously, we have been treated well and all the staffs are super helpful. I could give 10 stars for it. Just need to improvise the cleanliness. I love it!

First impression mcm nice gak hotel nie. Ok xpe. Jom pegi. Tapi parking pulak xde dedicated..kena parking dkt tepi² jlan. Dah nk check in kata bilik belum ready lagi.. what? Dh pukul 3 lebih kot apa yg tak ready? OMG ! OK fine dh dapat kunci bilik. Naik pegi bilik.. masuk² tgok katil pun senget , kaki patah. Nk tido pun macam terjunam kepala .. ***ruit! Call lobby minta panggil maintenance check.Maintenance pun smpai diorg angkat katil, bg bdiri mmg betul la kaki patah.. diorg nk gerudi apa smua, nk psg kaki lain. Tp barang tak cukup diorg kluar tinggl kan katil yg bdiri tu dgn tiba² ja jatuh gedebomm! Nasib xde anak kecik that time. Kalau ada mahu accident trhempap katil. Mmg spoil gilerr..nmpk mcm lama diorg nk menukang , minta tukar bilik lain sbb kita nk healing² smbil wfh kan... Tu pun mcm nk xnk bg tukar bilik... Duk hmm hmm...bilik xde kosong la apa la....ape benda laa service....at last dpt bilik lain.. tp haha..sebelah bilik yg awal td....bg la bilik vip ke apa ke ..sebb dh buang masa customer...ok xpe la bilik yg bru nie katil okay...tp tu lah ekon pulak tak kena...lindung dri dari dinding..bfast pun asal boleh ja...not so fancy n small portion...sy pun boleh beli kalau bnyk tu..huhuhu sekian.

I just have a problem with the cleanliness and the interior building looks quite old. An upgrade in terms of the interior would be great.
