Review There are definitely Pros and Cons. Pros - location location location, very convenient, nearby tourist spots Jiefangbei, Hongyadong and shoppingmalls, great for shopping and cooling down in the hot summers. - Spacious rooms (family room) with eye for detail for the kid. A tent, slippers, kids toothbrush, etc. - Service, staff is very helpful, thinks with you. 前台小孫和客房蔣姐. - Free washing/cleaning service. In the morning you can bring the clothing (max 5 pieces) and in the evening you can pick it up. Cons - The building is old. It hosts about 10 different kinds of hotels. The Move is situated at the 20th floor. - The elevators are old, creaky. There are on a good day 3 elevators. On a bad day just 2 available. Waiting time can go up to 10 minutes. And the elevator will be very crowded. - everything is written in Chinese. You need to read and speak some Chinese. The staff is not use to English speaking tourists. - You will get a fine if you break or loose something. At least, a list of things and the price is shown in the room. For example a cup ¥30, the lights ¥300 or TV ¥3000. A tip: check if things work on the first day/hour. - There are in the night at the entrance floor lots of business cards for call girls. If you staying with kids, it’s actually not okay. - There is no privacy in the room, walking out of the shower, your partner (and kid) can see you naked. - There are lots of groups of light switches, in every corner. There is one master switch. If you use that one everything will be switched off, the lights including the airco. If you still want to have the airco working, you need to switch off all the different lights in every corner. Otherwise you might get sweaty in the middle of the night. - On the first day of our arrival, another guest complained that the photos on the website do not match with the room. I recommend that you look at the room first, in any case the reception is willing to help out (if rooms are available). - On the day of check out, the staff will ask/push you to give a (good) review. Be prepared.

This is located in a skyscraper occupying a few high floors together with a few other hotels. It offers a stunning view of either the city or river and buildings. They provide all the basic things in addition to 2 types of slippers, a projector with China channels. What I loved most is the control on both sides of the bed, including power driven curtains. There are also Pre set Mode (ambiance light, sleeping, bright, etc), very convenient. The basin and toilet/shower is separate, so it can be used simultaneously.

Reception staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms is clean. We booked this hotel for 8 nights. The room was well cleaned when we returned at night. Free water bottles and clean towels replenished daily. The only down side is the lifts. This is a 21 storey building but there are only 4 lifts. We have to wait for very long to get into the lift as they are always fully packed.

The overall experience was good and I extreme impressed by the staff called Xiao Ru. She has been welcoming us with warmth and care from the first day we arrived Travelling with kids was always challenging but Xiao Ru has provided excellent service and patience for our queries. She has been kind enough to follow up if we need any further assistance on a daily basis. We had an early travel plan and she ensured her colleagues in another shift sending fruit to us every day after her shift. Additionally, she assisted the laundry pick up from our room and ready before our return to the room. Since we were on a night flight, a complimentary late check out was really helpful to ease out hassle. The breakfast was pretty good with a variety of options and the location was superb too. We'll definitely consider Mercure for our next visit!

The room is fantastically spacious with a jacuzzi tub and washing and drying machine. The hotel is also conveniently located with many attractions nearby. The service team at the hotel is also very polite and prompt. My only complaint is that WIFI doesn’t seem to work well in the room. The hotel is surely worthy of a return visit.

Really enjoyed my stay at Aspera hotel. It was one of the best hotel stay I have came across in china. Their service far exceeded my expectations. Amenities were absolutely top-notch. Location was also conveniently located to most of the attractions. Thank you for the amazing accommodation. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Will be back to book this hotel again :-)

What we love the most is the heater in the shower room, the jacuzzi, and the Dyson hairdryer. They make bathtime in the cold winter very enjoyable. The 2-room unit we stayed in is big, perfect for family. Hope they have a wardrobe or rack for hanging clothes in the second room. Lift waiting time is quite long, maybe due to the high occupancy rate. If you are a gym rat, note that it is not free. Over a very pleasant experience. If you are looking for vegetarian food near the hotel, there is one around the liberation monument (photo below) . 20 yuan for all you can eat buffet of about 80 choices. Well worth the money.

For overseas travellers, Fraser’s is no-doubt the best place to go to. Tourist friendly, value-for-money, and impeccable service. Location is also nearby a number of amenities and a pretty nice mall , with an amazing livehouse nearby. The service staff, Amy as well as others here that have served me have been amazing and were accommodating to my wants of replacing the ironing board as well as giving me fruits upon arrival, upgrading my room without me requesting, and even letting me check out late as my flight isn’t till the evening. Simply splendid and I would book this place again if I’m ever back in Chengdu. Attached hotel lobby pictures for reference, rooms look better than in photos. Won’t go wrong here. Food deliveries are done efficiently with a robot, and you can even add their WeChat to ask for any help with almost immediate response. Front Desk staff was very welcoming. I had an interaction with 11 and 33. Environment is nice, and it's in the city centre. Room space was good View from the room was very good as a lively Street. Downside is that there are also rooms without window. Please do not book them because they are too boring and also with less space. Iron was not there in the hotel to press the clothes. Please keep an iron to press the clothes because it should be present at such a nice place.

The apartment itself was fine. Really, the price and kind staff made up for some of the shortcomings. The pictures are not accurate, as mentioned in another review, but the future was comfortable and somewhat modern. The walls were a little dirty and the refrigerator had some mold because it was unplugged. No dishes or pans available, just a hot water kettle and glasses. The main issue was that the door off the kitchen that led to a small to the balcony didn’t close. The washing machine was too big and blocked the door from closing. Fortunately there was a second door between the kitchen and living room that did close. At the time this was the only apartment with a Western toilet available, so we just stayed. Aside from those things, the beds were comfortable, the heat worked well and check- in and communication with the staff was just fine. Staff members were kind. The elevators were slow so plan ahead. It’s easy to get a taxi or walk to surrounding tourists sites (20 minutes). There’s a Lawson convenience store downstairs for snacks and beverages. Deliveries can be dropped off at your apartment door. Overall a good stay for the price!
