I woke up feeling very unwell on the 2nd night of our stay. When my husband mentioned to the restaurant staff that I was feeling sick and couldn't eat, they kindly delivered a bowl of noodles and a bowl of congee up to the room. Later on while having our room serviced, 何腊梅, having seen that I was unwell and throwing up, gave extra room supplies and towels to make me feel more comfortable and at ease. 何腊梅 phoned the restaurant and asked for a hot ginger beverage to be sent up to the room. Very soon after drinking the hot beverage, all the nausea left me and I felt completely revived. Thank you to all the staff who took care of us, especially 何腊梅.

I had a truly pleasant and wonderful stay at the Ashan Hotel. Situated right in the heart of the city, its location couldn’t be more perfect. The most notable feature of the room was the breathtakingly beautiful view — especially spectacular on Saturday nights during the drone show. During the day, you can see nearly all of Chongqing from the room, which adds to the experience. The room itself was expansive, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful amenities. It absolutely delivers value for the price. An unforgettable experience, and I would gladly return.

The hotel facilities are very good and it is quite new. It is an international brand chain five-star hotel. It is about 30 meters away from Yuelai International Convention Center, which is very close and convenient for meetings. The location is a bit remote, but you can also order takeout from Burger King and other places.

There is a huge and interesting mall with good food opposite to the hotel. Big room size with Alexia control, but toiletries provided are average. Location is not so convenient need to take DiDi to go attractions about 30-40 rmb each trip.

This isn't a Huazhu hotel, but an independent one. It probably isn't a franchise anymore. The decor is very new. I booked an upgrade, but it wasn't offered upon check-in. After dinner, I went downstairs to the front desk, and they upgraded me. The upgraded room was indeed much larger than the one I stayed in. However, for the 360 yuan room rate, it didn't come with a drink. The Holiday Inn Express I stayed at on my first day also included a drink. This might be the difference between chain hotels and independent hotels. The toiletries were Intercity style. There's a scenic restaurant on the 26th floor with a view of Wulong. You can order food in the evening, but it's quite expensive and the portions are quite small. I ordered spicy chicken (which was average) for 58 yuan (not spicy or numbing). The ordering equipment didn't mention a problem. The waiter asked the kitchen, and they said it was. The chicken was not only small but also small. And shouldn't the portion be quite large in a county town? Not very cost-effective. A small bowl of rice was 3 yuan, and the main course was expensive. Lettuce was 27 yuan. The total bill was 88 yuan. I should have ordered takeout earlier. The breakfast was okay and quite filling. The laundry room has four washing and drying machines, but someone was using them to dry shoes. There were no instructions. But they're not LG, so they're probably commercial. Also, I saw an uncle smoking in there. There were small sachets of disinfectant from Huazhu Club, which is pretty good. 👍

Great hotel. Rooms are stunning, with amazing views across the river. From our room we could see the drone show very clearly, which was great. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff are friendly, check-in easy. What you'd expect from a hotel of this price in China.

There’s no where else I’d say in Chongqing but here. The hotel is modern and luxe. There’s so much to see within walking distance. We had an issue with a smoking room and they quickly moved us into a new room. The service is excellent and so is the food. We ordered room service multiple times and although it was a bit slow the food and coffee were both excellent. Would definitely stay here anytime I visit Chongqing!

The room is very nice , contains boil hot water pot and little kitchen, contains safety box for a $40 hotel per night That is amazing . Breakfast Service is very good , more than 30 choices buffet breakfast is delicious and healthy food. Highly recommend this hotel to every one .

The bowl of mixed noodles with Fengjie characteristics for breakfast, added with Baoning vinegar, is perfect. Opposite the hotel, you can take a walk along the riverside trail in the evening to see the relaxed life of people here, understand the origin of the bamboo poems here, and the poems and songs about Fengjie Baidi City and Qutang Gorge engraved on the monuments along the way. I would like to give some suggestions to friends who are traveling. There are no advertisements, just for reference. If the next stop is Wushan, you can take the high-speed rail, which takes 20 minutes, or take the small red boat, a ferry made by locals, to Wushan, where you can see Qutang Gorge and other attractions along the way. For friends who can't eat spicy food, we went to the local restaurant called Qiao Bayu, where locals eat wedding banquets. The venue is large, and there is a private room for two people. This meal is very satisfactory. The taste of vegetables is really the best on the trip. The cooking of Sichuan cuisine of dry fried mandarin fish, the bill is 314 yuan, and the decimals are wiped off, and it is delivered to the elevator door. It is highly recommended.
