Regent Chongqing

Regent Chongqing not only boasts a superb location, but it truly sets the bar for hotel service. They've thought of absolutely everything. From pillow preferences, in-room telescopes, and flower petal bubble baths to thoughtful arrival route planning and various considerate little gifts, what really impressed me was the complimentary minibar, including alcoholic beverages and snacks – incredibly generous! All three of the hotel's restaurants and its bar are must-visits in Chongqing. The bar, in particular, has a fantastic vibe. As a hotel guest, we not only had the minimum spend waived for our sofa table but also received two complimentary cocktails. The bar staff were incredibly observant and always attentive to our needs. ☝🏼The only minor drawback is that the hotel uses a fully enclosed fresh air system for the beds. While the temperature control was excellent, it did get a little humid during consecutive rainy days. When we left, we took all the gifts and the minibar drinks with us, haha! So happy to have eaten, drunk, and received so much. I love Regent and will definitely be back!

Chongqing's most luxurious hotel, hands down. The staff's service was incredibly warm and attentive without feeling overbearing – it felt genuinely natural, which was fantastic. And the rooms? Unbeatable. A perfect blend of aesthetics and comfort.

I'd heard online that Chongqing has the best service, and my personal experience truly confirmed it. All the staff were incredibly friendly and had excellent service attitudes. They responded promptly to all our requests and did their best to accommodate our needs. The room was spacious and beautiful, and they even told us the minibar drinks were complimentary, which made us feel completely at ease using them. We also received two vouchers for drinks at the Two Rivers Bar, allowing us to experience the famous bar. We were very happy!

It's rare to describe a hotel as 'flawless', but the Regent truly lives up to it. From check-in to check-out, I couldn't find a single flaw – even if I were nitpicking, I'd still give it a 99 out of 100. Definitely book a river-view room if you can (or an executive room if your budget allows); the night view is absolutely unbeatable. Failing that, you can always enjoy a drink at the Two Rivers Bar on the seventh floor and soak in the fun of admiring Hongyadong from afar. I initially wanted to mention a few staff members by name, but after thinking about it, everyone was so excellent that I'll just commend the entire team instead.

Before check-in, the butler proactively reached out to ask if I had any special requests. Upon arrival, the room had been nicely arranged. In the afternoon, there was significant construction noise while I was resting, but after contacting the butler, it felt like they communicated with the manager, and the construction stopped. I really appreciate the hotel's understanding. I'm quite satisfied with this stay; the staff's professionalism and attentiveness deserve commendation. They were very responsive to customer needs. The hotel's online butler mini-program is excellent and perfect for guests who prefer less direct communication. However, the hotel is a bit older, so inevitable issues like scratched floors and aged bathroom handles are minor drawbacks. But these don't overshadow its overall quality; it truly deserves its spot as Chongqing's top hotel. The bar's outdoor terrace offers fantastic views of Qiansimen Bridge and Hongyadong, perfect for enjoying a drink and the nightscape. Overall, I was quite pleased with this trip and hope the hotel continues to improve. A special shout-out to the service staff!

All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room layout was very well-designed, especially the spacious walk-in closet which easily fit two open suitcases. The daily laundry service was also excellent. Plus, the breakfast spread was fantastic! We had a very comfortable weekend overall.

I have to rave about the service at Regent Chongqing! Every single staff member is professional and polite, from the concierge and front desk to the butler – the experience was exceptional. The service was perfectly balanced, warm without being intrusive, making me feel right at home. The river-view bathtub directly faces Hongyadong, setting an incredible mood for a bath. The mini-bar is entirely free and includes Tianfu Cola and local Chongqing snacks, making this my top choice for accommodation in Chongqing! Highly recommended!

I had heard that Regent Chongqing was renowned for its exceptional service even before checking in, and my stay certainly confirmed it. The meticulous service and attention to detail truly made me feel at home, with a strong sense of personalized care. For instance, the butler cabinet in the room was a delightful surprise, incredibly convenient and elegant. What's more, the hotel thoughtfully offers complimentary laundry service for three items per person, which is a wonderful touch compared to the paid laundry services at other luxury hotels. As for the public areas, the 'Two Rivers Bar' boasts an elegant and grand design with fantastic views that are far from tacky, and the live music was excellent. For evening baths, you can choose from various options, and the rose petal bath was incredibly romantic, providing a perfect way to relax after a tiring day. There were also numerous other thoughtful details, such as face masks, postcards, a pillow menu, and a complimentary mini-bar, all incredibly well-designed. There was a minor hiccup during my stay; although the hotel doesn't offer a full view of Hongyadong, the front desk attendant tried her best to move me to a room with a slightly better view. Additionally, the automatic flush on the electric toilet wasn't always working, and the light switches were occasionally unresponsive, requiring multiple presses. However, considering this hotel has been open for nearly ten years, I didn't bother the front desk with these small imperfections, as they are understandable, haha. All in all, Regent Chongqing is indeed the best and most service-oriented hotel in Chongqing, truly in a league of its own! I highly recommend staying here! I look forward to my next visit!

This is my third time in Chongqing, and I chose to stay at the Regent Chongqing. I've stayed at the Regent Hong Kong before, so I was really looking forward to my stay here in Chongqing too! 😊 The hotel is located in the Jiangbeizui Central Business District, which is a fantastic location – super convenient for getting around. ✌️ The environment is beautiful, and the breakfast was good, as was the overall ambiance. 🍽️ The guest rooms have a unique and elegant Chinese aesthetic and are fully equipped with excellent facilities and attentive service. 👏 I also tried the hotel's special laundry service, which was amazing! 👍 I'm very satisfied with this trip and will definitely choose Regent Hotels again next time. ❤️
