The hotel was good, the breakfast buffet was good but our room wasn’t sound Proof. We could hear the noise yelling from downstairs at night. We couldn’t sleep.
I recently stayed at R Bed and Breakfast in Baguio City for 2 nights, booking through Trip.com, which was super easy and convenient. The prices are quite affordable, especially considering its prime location near tourist attractions and in the town proper. It's easy to find, right along the road, with ample parking space.
Upon arrival, the room was impressively spacious and tidy. (What you see is what you get based on their posted pictures.) However, there was a slight sewer smell from the toilet that could be improved. Nonetheless, the overall vibe felt cozy and homelike.
While the breakfast options were limited, they served delicious Filipino breakfast dishes, which suited our short stay perfectly. The staff throughout, from the restaurant to security and reception, were incredibly accommodating. They patiently attended to our requests and even helped us book a tour in the area.
I highly recommend R Bed and Breakfast for family trips, given its convenience, affordability, and welcoming atmosphere.
Such a very good place to stay in Benguet, near Baguio City. Around 10-15 mins only from Baguio City proper, We rented out a motorcycle to move easily and efficiently around Baguio and La Trinidad, it saved us time and money instead of commuting. Made our travel here more like an adventure. ☺️
Biyan is their tourist attraction. Relatively speaking, the price is quite high. But the disadvantage is that there is no elevator. It is quite close to the viewing park. Then you need to drive for 10 minutes in the city.
Loved our stay here! The room was spotless and had everything we needed. No AC, but you won’t miss it—Baguio’s cool breeze is like having nature’s aircon, and the provided fan kept the air moving nicely.
The location is super convenient, just a short stroll to Session Road. It’s downhill, so you’ll get a mini workout on the way back—perfect excuse to burn off all that Baguio food! Taxis are always available if you prefer to skip the climb. The water heater could use a little fine-tuning, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay. ☺️
Highly recommended. The service and welcome are exceptional, as is the hotel’s exquisite forest location and ambience in Camp John Hay, Baguio. Although it’s quite an old hotel, the highest standards are delivered. It’s quite expensive, although the dining and drinking options are priced quite reasonably for a hotel of this nature. We really enjoyed a very relaxing stay, enjoying the outdoor views and easygoing classic charm. Great job, and thank you!
Nice people and clean hostel - well positioned just 10 minutes walk from 'town'. Let the hostel know in advance of your arrival time and date and they'll meet you where the coaches arrive. Keep in mind, impossible to get food after around 9PM in this town - nothing open - including all shops. Zero bars and nightlife open past 9PM or so!
The hostel is conveniently located at the back of bus terminals in gov. pack street. It is also a stone’s throw away from SM Baguio. The hostel itself is clean in appearance. The staff are all friendly. They also have free coffee, water, and bread with spread for guests.
Almost impeccable place to check in. First of all, the welcome drink was given at check-in. I chose coffee and Milo. You can also taste the boiled duck made by the local method, and provide Ifugao national costumes to take pictures. The only drawback is that when the room is hot at night, it is difficult to sleep with mosquitoes, and everything else is fine.
We had a great time while staying here. Maganda ang pwesto. One ride lang going to market and burnham park. May parking din sila. Also, pet friendly.

HHIROSHIThis was my first time in Badat Village and I stayed at the Batad Transient House for 5 nights.
The view from the hotel was spectacular and the hostel family were all very kind and nice.
The food was also very delicious. The owner of the hostel has lived in Japan for his job as a care worker and can speak a little Japanese.
He will arrange various tours and massages for you if you ask.
The massage was the best and felt so good that it soothed my tired body from all the walking and helped me sleep soundly.
If you stay here, please give it a try!! I highly recommend it!!
It was rice planting season at the time, so I asked the hostel staff to organize a half-day rice planting tour for me, which was a lot of fun.
It was a very nice hostel and I would like to go again.
