The room is very big, the materials are very good, the bed is very comfortable, I just arrived by train, this bed is a lifesaver. 2 meters wide, easy to flip.
There are many small restaurants nearby, and it is very convenient to walk to the Jokhang Temple in about 10 minutes. The invincible big window is very comfortable. Also, they just upgraded my room because there were not many guests. The front desk service attitude is very goodšI plan to go out for a while and come back to stay for two days.

The entire hotel looks elegant in appearance, decorated in ******* style, and there is a ******* fragrance in the corridors. Although the room decoration looks a bit old, it does not affect the use at all. There are many charging sockets, and the breakfast is very rich. We booked 2 rooms to stay together. 2 nights, this is the most satisfying and cost-effective hotel in this Tibet trip

Very satisfied with a stay experience. Needless to say, Nyingchi's beauty is really happy and unforgettable and even moving to have such a wonderful stay in the beautiful scenery.
The rooms are warm and tidy, well-equipped, and the sanitation is excellent. Every day, you can have this comfortable and safe accommodation and rest during the tired journey. It is a great happiness in life.
The proprietress from Shanghai, warm and hearty, came to Nyingchi to open a homestay because of her love and dreams, which is a great thing in itself. Coupled with the thoughtful and thoughtful service, the suggestions for the travel route are very helpful, which makes our journey full of luck and surprises. Thank you for meeting, come to Nyingchi in the future, and will choose to live here.
Due to the itinerary, it was very late when we arrived. The family had different degrees of reaction, especially the children. The staff was very considerate to help us with our luggage and medicine. Thank you very much for the good environment of the hotel. The tent room is clean and comfortable. It is not soundproof. It rains at night. The head has been rushing. Breakfast is not bad, in short, it is still very recommended
This feels like one of the better hotels in Shigatse, with an exotic feel to the overall design.
The service was excellent. Kerry, our receptionist, upgraded our room during check-in and explained some travel tips. He was very welcoming.
It's located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the popular restaurant we found online.
There are two oxygen concentrators, which is better than the St. Regis in Lhasa. The St. Regis only has one, and we had to take turns using it.

I saw this place online for a holiday trip and decided to check in. It didn't disappoint me. First of all, I really like the environment here. It's clean and sanitary. It's equipped with disposable towels and bath towels, which is very considerate. Secondly, the service is also very good. Free laundry, oxygen supply and humidification are turned on in advance (the most comfortable hotel I stayed in Tibet, the oxygen diffusion is in place, and the humidification is also in place). In short, I am very satisfied. I like the decoration style of this store very much. If you like Chinese and simple styles, you can go for it. Handmade ******* souvenirs: very heartwarming

The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' ā like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended ā the third shop after turning right from the hotel ā was absolutely delightful.

Lhasa accommodation ceiling! The hotel is in a great location, 10 minutes walk to Barkhor Street, the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room are facing the Jokhang Temple, sitting on the bay window drinking sweet tea to see the street view, too comfortable. The bedding is soft, the floor heating is sufficient, the night is not cold, the staff is on call, and I also booked a Tibetan meal for me, it must be five stars! The treasure viewing hotel in Lhasa accidentally dug! I didn't expect much, but I was shocked when I entered the room. The snow-capped mountains + the double view of the Potala Palace, the view was wide enough to scream. The humidifier and oxygen supply machine in the room are all equipped, and even the sink has intimate plateau skin care tips. The details are full. I don't want to leave after staying for 3 days! It is too important to choose a hotel in Lhasa! This viewing room knows tourists too well. The large viewing platform can take a panoramic view of the Potala Palace, and you can make a film without crowding the scenic spot. The high back was a bit uncomfortable. The front desk immediately sent oxygen pipes and warm water. It also helped me adjust the room temperature. The service was more intimate than the family. I recommended it to all friends who came to Lhasa! The highlights of the trip to Lhasa are all in this hotel! The high-rise viewing room I live in, the Potala Palace is super sacred under the blue sky and white clouds during the day, the room lights are dimmed at night, and the night view of the palace outside the window is too atmospheric. The facilities are new, clean and clean, and you can walk to many attractions, saving time and worry!
Great hotel, large room (was upgraded for free to Suite), clean.
Marshal at reception was friendly and attentive.
Large variety at breakfast, although the western options are still slightly limited. Would be nice to have greek yoghurt and more cereal choices. Chinese options are great.
Joy (waitress at breakfast) was very good and deserves a mention!

AAnonymous User**Review of Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel**
My stay at the Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel was quite pleasant and convenient, particularly for a traveler looking for comfort near the airport. The hotel's prime location, just a short distance from the Lhasa Gonggar Airport, makes it an excellent choice for those with early flights or needing a quick stopover.
The hotel itself is modern and well-kept, with a clean and stylish design. My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring contemporary furnishings and all the necessary amenities for a restful stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the room's soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep despite the proximity to the airport.
The staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay, although there were occasional language barriers. Nonetheless, they were always willing to assist and made an effort to accommodate my requests. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient.
One area where the hotel could improve is its dining options. While the breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of dishes, I found that the food could benefit from more freshness and variety, especially for those staying multiple nights. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent, which might be a concern for business travelers needing reliable internet access.
Overall, Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel is a solid option for travelers looking for a comfortable stay close to the airport. While there are minor areas for improvement, the hotel's convenience, cleanliness, and friendly service make it a good choice for short stays or layovers.

SSubhankar MukherjeeThe service is the worst of all hotels where we have stayed worldwide. It is worse than even any 1-star rated hotel in China. Right from the entry, the check in is chaotic. No one attends to luggage. It takes 2 hours to do formalities and return passports. In Room dining, the order is a huge challenge. They take 2 hours to take order and deliver the food after 1 hour, when they serve only the food in a plate. No seperate dishes or any cutliaries (spoon or fork or chopsticks ... nothing provided). When you point these out, they say sorry and take another 1 hour to bring plates, chop sticks etc. BY now 5 hours passed and food is so cold and not eatable. This is a regular scenario ... repeated 3 times, I.e. everything we placed an order. It's a huge challenge.
On amenities, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. If you just take a turn while sleeping, the other person is sure to wake up. They call king size bed .. it's two seperate beds kept side by side with cheap quality spring mattress.
On breakfast, it's very limited and every day same menu. No varieties, the food taste is horrible as well. Extremely bad experience.for the price that is paid. The feeling has been a complete waste of money, sleepless nights, staying hugry and waiting for food post order for 5.hours every time we ordered room dining. The same situation in restaurent as well.
GGuest UserThis hotel is a little gem in Lhasa. First of all, itās got a lift, which is a must at high altitude. They offered us free breakfast for the first night, but when we requested breakfast for the next two nights (paying), they actually offered it for free as well. The breakfast room has amazing views of the Potala palace.
The beds are very comfortable. There is a large coffee table, a large leather stool and an armchair by the window. And that window has another stunning view over the palace (if youāre on the 5th floor). The bathroom has everything you need, including shower flip flops (although we brought and used our own pair). Toiletries were good too. There were also slippers for the room.
Another nice touch was that they would bring a fruit platter to the room every evening at 19:00. This included jujube, cherry tomatoes, clementines and pears. All brilliantly sweet.
The hotel is very close to the big attractions in Lhasa, including the aforementioned Potala palace, Jokhang monastery and Barkor Street.
And most importantly, they had oxygen in the bedroom. A must have!
Finally, the staff is very helpful. They helped us book a takeaway for dinner on our first night and organised the free breakfasts the next day.
EErerzailushangFacilities: The facilities are very complete, you can have everything you need, and you can also drink tea in the lobby
Hygienic: Hygiene is super clean, the proprietress cleans it herself, the details are very clean
Environment: Super comfortable, the small yard is sitting in the sun and blowing the hair and falling asleep
Service: Super thoughtful! Responsive
Super recommended, everyone come to live!
HhohotimVery satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions.
Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.
EEllisswonderlandStaff was super friendly and helpful, location was superb and we got some nice welcome fruit and souvenir from their 2/Fl shop it was a great experience. å°åØ even took time to show us around the best spots around the hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options.
The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.
XXiaoyuebanjianghuI rarely write reviews, but I feel I must write one this time. Gesanghua Hotel has a beautiful and kind proprietress. She is quite young, thoughtful, warm and patient. We just arrived in Lhasa and were not very familiar with the itinerary. Later, we consulted the proprietress to avoid falling into the trap. You can also ask the proprietress to help buy performance tickets and travel packages. There are many discounts after comparison. I am also very satisfied with the arranged room. It is square, clean, with a humidifier, oxygen concentrator, and air conditioner. Every morning, the bright sunshine will shine into the room, making the cool morning warm all of a sudden. Living in a sunny room makes my altitude sickness much better.
The location of the hotel is also very goodš It is convenient to go out for transportation. It takes a few minutes to walk to Jokhang City, Barkhor Street, and Jokhang Temple. It only takes 10 yuan to take Didi to the Potala Palace.
Warm service, clean room, convenient transportation, we will definitely stay in Gesanghua again next time.
