This is the second time I stayed at Pingcuo Kangsang. The first time was in Ranwu Lake in 2023. It is a very trustworthy homestay brand. It takes 40 minutes to get to the scenic area from Mount Everest Town. There is real-time monitoring of Mount Everest at the front desk. You can make an appointment to go up the mountain according to the weather conditions on the mountain. We originally planned to go up the mountain to watch the sunset on the day of arrival, but it snowed heavily on the mountain. We had no choice but to make an appointment for the car at 6:30 the next day. The front desk can directly help to make an appointment for the scenic area's environmentally friendly car. Get on the car at the hotel entrance 5 minutes in advance, which saves a lot of time. Because it was too early and the restaurant was not open yet, the housekeeper was very considerate to help prepare take-out bread and eight-treasure porridge for breakfast. The room is fully equipped and relieves fatigue very well.

After a whole day of playing in the Laigu Glacier Blue Ice Cave and Yalong Glacier, I was a little tired, so I checked into this hotel in Bomi which opened in 2025. The hotel's facilities are of high quality, the decoration details are exquisite, the shower head has a strong water flow, the breakfast is of rich quality, and the room is very quiet at night, so you can wake up naturally.

This hotel is a little gem in Lhasa. First of all, it’s got a lift, which is a must at high altitude. They offered us free breakfast for the first night, but when we requested breakfast for the next two nights (paying), they actually offered it for free as well. The breakfast room has amazing views of the Potala palace. The beds are very comfortable. There is a large coffee table, a large leather stool and an armchair by the window. And that window has another stunning view over the palace (if you’re on the 5th floor). The bathroom has everything you need, including shower flip flops (although we brought and used our own pair). Toiletries were good too. There were also slippers for the room. Another nice touch was that they would bring a fruit platter to the room every evening at 19:00. This included jujube, cherry tomatoes, clementines and pears. All brilliantly sweet. The hotel is very close to the big attractions in Lhasa, including the aforementioned Potala palace, Jokhang monastery and Barkor Street. And most importantly, they had oxygen in the bedroom. A must have! Finally, the staff is very helpful. They helped us book a takeaway for dinner on our first night and organised the free breakfasts the next day.

He was very patient and detailed about the hotel’s free laundry service, oxygen supply, etc. The hotel is very clean and provides disposable bath towels, disposable towels, toilet covers, etc. every day.
