The hotel is in need of a makeover, some of the fittings a little outdated. The pool is little more than a plunge pool though the setting is superb. The breakfast is average, so much so that whilst my wife went for breakfast most days I stayed in the room and just had yoghurts. The minibar doesn’t work and nothing is cold in it. There’s no room service menu though they allow outside deliveries for guests. That’s all the bad points. Now for the good points.
The rooftop bar is relaxed and atmospheric, the sunsets there are sensational and the cocktails are superb. The service from the staff was incredible. Always helpful and informative and willing to go the extra mile to make you welcome and that makes up for the shortcomings of the actual building itself.
Also the location close to Perrybere beach and a short taxi ride to Grand Baie is pretty good too, though it’s a long taxi ride from the airport.
Great place! All I think is missing is hair dryer for hair, a bigger bed and then laundry room to do laundry. Also, better lighting in rooms will be useful if you like to do makeup. Other than that, great stay😊Definitely recommend this place! People super friendly and helpful!
Location was OK. A bit far from Port Louis where I was commuting to (like 30-40 minutes drive after peak hour), but I chose that so it’s OK. I wanted to retreat. Getting taxis after 8pm as a foreigner without local taxi apps is a nightmare so be conscious of this. The cleanliness was wanting. First day big cockroach emerges crawling and at check in the manager just stomps it and kicks it out. No issue but the stain is was on the floor next day when I returned, unmopped! I also found a smaller one on the coffee table, smacked it with my slipper and left the carcass there to test if it would be cleaned as I’d read reviews about bugs and cleanliness needing improvement. It was still there till I messaged concierge to complain about poor cleaning. The dishes also had some stains on some days and the kitchen counter tops were not cleaned with one day me finding cooking oil residue on it after I’d made an egg, exactly where I left it. Again, to test cleaning rigour. The extra kitchen/ dish cloth that was folded and left in the drawer also had flour residue. It obviously wasn’t cleaned or even checked before being returned.
On day 2 I was met by a huge flying cockroach on my bedroom wall that I used all the Doom on (thank God they provide this in the apartment 🫣) as I’m petrified of bugs and huge flying ones at that! I left the carcass on the floor after battling that creature for like 30 minutes to test housekeeping and thankfully this one was removed as I left it in plain sight. I had to tell concierge at check out that cleaning in this place needs massive massive improvement.
Otherwise it’s a great huge space with great amenities and fittings, loads of parking space and well located for a vacation. The breakfast was just OK. Nothing special.
Concierge was proactive in communicating and the security levels are good.
They charge a $/€550 deposit on top of the accommodation rate at check in so read the fine print. But it is just a pre-authorization on card so instantly released to card, if you damage nothing. If cash, it’s also instant at check out. I would return, but they need to work out their housekeeping and fumigation issues.
Great location, very close to the beach. We went for a sunrise walk along the beach where we pretty much had the whole stretch to ourselves and a couple of people running for exercise.
There is a convenience shop literally behind the building.
The room is simple and spotless. All the furniture in the room serves a solid purpose, including a desk if you need to work remotely. Reliable wifi. Quiet air conditioning. They also provide filtered water, which reduces the need to buy water in plastic bottles. The breakfast buffet is freshly prepared daily, with plenty of choices.
Everything we needed was provided. The staff are all very friendly, and the owners go above and beyond!
The overall design of the hotel is very French, and the service staff is very enthusiastic. There is a free 10-minute shoulder and neck massage when staying in the hotel, and the boathouse also provides free items for guests staying in the hotel. The four-star hotel has a five-star service, and the overall satisfaction is very good!
The hotel is perfectly located, you can say, across the road from the beach, 6 minutes walk from the Winner's supermarket. Very quiet. The service from some staff leaves to wish the best, but others have compensated for their kindness and accommodation. In purity, too, at first there were questions (this concerns bed linen), but then everything was corrected in the best form. There is no refrigerator in the room, but there is in the common kitchen. In general, this price is quite good.
Typical Mauritian complex hotel very well arranged and charming which offers many activities and well located to shine in the North of Mauritius. Everything is available to ensure that your stay goes perfectly (assistance, activities, visits, taxi, etc.) Several restaurants available on site (buffet restaurant and restaurants highlighting local gastronomy) included in the price for half board and all in. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and varied and also highlights local cuisine. The staff is attentive and very helpful.
For information, ask to book restaurants to be able to taste the different local cuisines (Indian, Mauritian and Chinese).
Good day,About the hotel:convenient location, beautiful and comfortable rooms, high ceilings, there is a fan and air conditioner. There is a tea corner. There is drinking water.Cleaning every day, changing towels and beaches too, every day.Breakfasts are delicious, But it is better to come first, not updated.Cappuccino is excellent, but here is quite ordinary, although it is written that with vanilla. You will not starve at all. There is a beautiful supermarket next to a small shopping center, with its cafe.Around many points with food from the restaurant La Kaza to the larks at the beach. To the normal beach La Kuvet go right along the coast through hotels about 1.5 km.To the beach Pereiber go almost any bus 3 stops .Bus go very fast, Stay only at stops. It is 25-35 mur.On both beaches there are souls and toilets, points with juices and food, cheeslongies payable.Sanded clean bottom, you can swim far.Near the hotel there are trade pavilions, you can visit for interest .Minus only, We didn't find how to dry clothes, hung on the balcony, a part of the swimsuit was blown, found staff after 2 days, returned.Staff excellent, Kimberly, especially.Breakfasts, by the way, on the roof, look stunning.I would like to come back.On the photo the view from the room on the bay.

MMacarennaFirst of all, you want to start with the positive sides of this hotel, their two beautiful and well-designed territories, as well as a beautiful interior in the room and delicious meal on the menu at dinner.
On this the pluses end.
It was our third hotel on the island in this category and therefore there is something to compare with. The most unsuccessful place on the level of service.
Of course, if you are a non-critical restorant, this place will be appropriate.
We thought it was a very low level of management processes inside the hotel and savings for everything.
The room has capsules and a coffee machine that are paid (only two capsules of coffee are free for the entire stay).
All the drinks at dinner are paid, even water.
The food is delicious, but it is important to note that at dinner many times it has been time to wait for two hours. We have expressed our dissatisfaction on several occasions and are not ready to sit in the dining room for two hours, as we have work and we are very limited in time. Probably the cook just can't cook so much food for such a load of the hotel. Some people just got up and left without waiting for dessert. This is an extreme disrespect for the guests.
In the first days we noticed that shampoo, soul gel and other items were not replenished after cleaning, asked for respiratory measures, but only after a written complaint they took action and began to monitor cleaning more closely. Thank you for the operational reaction, we are pleased that the hotel is reacting and listening.
Probably I would recommend this hotel to take initially without food or just breakfast.
The hotel offers free kayaks, catamaran, on which you can swim along the beach, Hamam.
There is a tea pause (mundice): the first day is free, then 350 rupees a day.
The staff is friendly and keen to help, but it is necessary to work immediately quickly and clearly so that the guest does not have an unpleasant impression.
GGuest UserAbsolutely perfect! 100% recommended. We loved everything: the setting, the welcome, the services, the food. This place is like paradise! The staff is lovely and the trip was magical! This is our third stay and we will definitely be back!!
GGuest UserThe room is not small, it seems to be newly renovated, hot water and other things are OK, there is even a microwave.
The front desk lady is very warm and thoughtful! Very patient! English is also easy to communicate OK!
The best thing about this hotel is the location! Because it is very close to Blue Bay, it is a short walk to the beach, and you can go back to the hotel to take a shower after checking out, which is very considerate.
Breakfast is outdoors, so it is inevitable that there are small flying insects flying around, which is understandable. At night, you can see geckos on the outdoor walls, the ecology is really good hahahaha
GGuest UserA great place, convenient location (available on foot are shops, supermarkets, cafes, bus stops.
A minute for 10-15, if not faster, on 82 bus you can get to the beach Tru-O-Bish).
The room has everything necessary for comfortable accommodation: microwave, refrigerator, teapot, TV, air conditioning, wi-fi, dishes, dining facilities, black out curtains, large with a comfortable bed mattress.
The room is comfortable, clean, clean, clean and disposable is offered daily.
There is a parking space on the adjacent area of the hotel.
Responsive and attentive English speaking staff. Response to requests and wishes was promptly. If necessary, staff are ready to provide a transfer service at an acceptable price to any location on the island.
I lived in the room for 8 days and was so accustomed to the situation that felt like at home!
I really liked to spend time on the balcony with a chic view on the bay 😍
My departure to the airport was in the afternoon, so the hotel management went to the meeting and allowed to leave things before leaving.
Everything is great! Everything liked! Thank you for the hospitality and responsiveness 🙏🤗

海海风度9939The hotel is small but very clean. If you are a tourist who is just walking around, then you can consider it. It is accurate to say that it is a hotel, not a hotel, breakfast is very general, one person a piece of bread, not self-help, there is a parking lot, the location is not convenient for traveling in the northwest corner, not suitable for taking children small room
