The location is excellent and easy to find. The rooms are very comfortable. A nice bonus is that you can even go fishing right downstairs! The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely dedicated to providing a great experience. He helped us book tickets and shared useful travel guides along with important tips for our trip.

This guesthouse is situated between the Mid-Gate and East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The owners, a couple, are incredibly dedicated and meticulous in their service. They offer complimentary pickup and drop-off for guests, provide discounted ticket purchasing assistance, and share detailed itinerary advice, which saved us a lot of time queuing. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Breakfast is hearty, and their pickled side dishes are especially delicious. The only minor drawback is the limited dinner options in the immediate vicinity, but their warm and attentive service more than makes up for it.

My wife and I initially thought we were just booking a B&B, but it turned out to be an incredibly personalized, tailor-made experience! They offered complimentary shuttle service and even crafted a travel itinerary based on our preferences. Even the breakfast noodles they prepared for us were thoughtfully made and incredibly nutritious. The owner's hospitality was simply outstanding and unexpectedly meticulous, going above and beyond in every way. I simply cannot recommend this place enough! Fellow travelers, if you're planning a trip to Zhangjiajie, you absolutely *must* stay at Qique Mountain Villa!

Whilst not within walking distance of the embarkation points into Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, it has a pleasantly rural feel, and is clean. I cannot fault the service - the owner of the guesthouse drove me to and from Zhangjiajie each day of my stay, going so far as to lend me a spare phone so I could contact him as my WeChat wasn't working. He also offered to help me buy tickets during my visit.

A great place to stay for our trip in Zhangjiajie. The inn owner is a friendly local who knows the region very well. We were provided a very detailed written guide on how to get around the scenic areas, which we very much appreciate since the signage at the attractions are unclear. Delicious fresh breakfast, comfortable and clean room and transportation service provided. For non mandarin speaker, it is handy to have wechat app beforehand for communication and translation. It is a great experience and we thoroughly recommend staying here.

Could not recommend more! We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it wholeheartedly. The place has a cozy bed and breakfast atmosphere. We got to meet and chat with other people staying which we don’t often get to experience when staying at hotels. Boss picked us up from the airport, gave us detailed recommendations for each day, and picked us up at the end of each day basically arranging basically all our transportation to and from the park. Not to mention, each morning he cooks a scrumptious breakfast. Everything was thoughtful, tidy and clean.

Boss has good service, and he can help you to buy the tickets to attractions like wulingyuan and tianmenshan at a discounted price. This place has good CP value, and you can eat breakfast cooked by the boss. My wife asks me to leave 5-star review so here I am! I think it's because this boss doesn't pester you for money nor treat you like a referral to other businesses which is what so many money-minded chinese in china is doing.

This summer, I traveled solo with my child. I'd visited Changsha and Zhangjiajie with friends back in 2018, but that was a package tour, and the experience was quite negative. Anyone who's been on one of those tours knows the drill – forced shopping for things like cinnabar, silver, and other questionable 'local specialties' was inescapable. That's why I decisively chose independent travel this time. However, traveling solo with a child meant that sorting out transportation, tickets, and a detailed itinerary became a real headache. I spent ages researching but just couldn't finalize all the details. Then, by chance, I came across a review for this guesthouse. Figuring it was worth a shot, I decided to call the owner. He offered airport transfers, transportation to and from scenic spots, and even help with purchasing tickets. My child and I stayed for four days on this Zhangjiajie trip. The owner truly delivered on his promises: the tickets he secured were even cheaper than what I'd found on the official website or Taobao, and the itinerary he recommended meant no waiting in lines at all. On our last day, my child fell ill, and the owner kindly drove us to the hospital. Breakfast, prepared by the owner, was both delicious and healthy. I'm incredibly grateful to the owner for everything. I wish him great success with his business. And a special thank you again for driving my child to the hospital last night.

The perfect stay close to Zhangjiajie National park. The manager is fantastic, does not speak English but communication works via translation apps. He suggested the perfect itinerary for our 2 days at the National park, driving us to the entrance and picking us back at the end of the day. He booked for us tickets at a discounted rate. He also cooks delicious breakfast every morning, adapting it to our dietary requirements (we are vegetarians). There is also a restaurant next door where you can get dinner (recommend) We were very happy with our stay here!!

We are two travelers from Canada (two women traveling alone) and this hotel was amazing!! The boss was very nice from beginning to end. We had such a warm welcome. They helped us so much, from helping us book tickets at a lower price to driving us to the parks and back to the train station. They love what they do and it really shows. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Many classics like baozi, jiaozi, congee, sweet potatoes, etc. We stayed there for two nights and it was such a peaceful stay. They also upgraded us to a better view! It is such a nice place, we definitely recommend it. 老板， if you see this, thank you again! 谢谢你！

The owner was really nice. He proactively contacted us to pick us up at the airport, helped us with travel guides, and booked tickets (really great deals! I earned enough to buy a few milk teas in a matter of minutes). The itinerary was practical, and we bought discounted tickets. The convenient transportation, along with airport and station pick-up and drop-off at attractions, saved us a lot of taxi money. The B&B has fresh air, beautiful surroundings, and a delicious and varied breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying here to my friends.
